Very bland food. Gumbo lacked flavor. Jambalaya was very dry. Red beans and rice very average. Can not recommend this place. It was an extreme letdown.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. It was served well seasoned, in good portion sizes and quickly after ordering. The restaurant itself is clean, casual with a relaxing homey flair. My husband and I plan to eat there again.

To say they only had one other couple in the building you would think that level of friendliness would have been much higher. The Jambalaya was dry and mediocre, the gumbo was flavorless, the red beans a Joke and the staff didn’t even know what kind of fish they were frying and Walmart puts more than eggs, potatoes and mayonnaise in their potato salad. This was a waste of time and money!

Always good for a quick fix. Every plate of jambalaya is consistant to the next visit. Could be seasoned a little better which is why the color is lighter than something u would do at home but not a complaint.

I got the red beans and rice plate with fried chicken. The red beans were decent, but a little too salty. The fried chicken turned out to be three tiny, extremely spicy hot wings. And the potato salad tasted like sweet mashed potatoes. I won't be going here again.

Had jambalaya two days ago. Terrible!! Meats are cut too big. Not pleasing to the eyes. Rice sticky all clumped. Just terrible

Me and brother Grady went to the jambalaya Shoppe after bringing me to probation office to get Transportation letter to go to Boston the jambalaya was reasonably good and it was reasonably priced

A local favorite for lunch. They usually have the $5 jambalaya or pastalaya bowl with a roll and a drink. The portions on this deal is HUGE , they overflow the bowl with rice and there's plenty of meat. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is kept very clean.

Food was good but gumbo could have been a little warmer. We called on the way there and the person on the phone was very quiet saying hello, not very outgoing. I was not sure I got the right place. When we arrived and walked up to counter sales person was quite and said nothing. I told them we order on phone and decided to eat in. They went to back and brought food out and the first words they spoke was the amount we owed. I had better experiences here but not this time. I will return because food was good. Hope this person was just having a bad day.

I ordered seafood gumbo and a large potato salad for 2 for take out. When I got to my destination, I found that I had chicken gumbo and a small potato salad. They charged me for what I ordered not what I got. Not the first time they have messed up my order. I won't be back.
