First time at Shaver's yesterday and my experience was great. Pulled up to order around 100 lbs of crawfish. I was served immediately, they brought the sacks to the car and loaded, and rang me up right away. Pleasant and efficient. Then after we boiled them we realized the crawfish were BIG and delicious. Shaver's helped us make a great party memorable. Thanks again.

I know the owners. They are extremely good people, that make extremely good food. I opened up a la Madeleine in Shreveport Louisiana about three months ago and they catered to us for lunch. I ordered s dozen of the biegnets tonight. Don’t be fooled. They are nothing but a Sister Schubert roll with some powdered sugar sprinkled on top. Not an authentic biegnet. And they are $16 a dozen. You can go about 2 miles on Fern and get authentic beignets for half the price of Shavers and they are the real thing. I was very disappointed in Mr. Shaver tonight. At least cook the real thing if you are going to advertise it.

We ate some of their crawfish today at Mudbug Madness and although it was expensive - it has been the best crawfish I have eaten while living here. Not too hot, but still very flavorful. The potatoes and corn were perfect as well.

Being fairly new to Shreveport, I'd never been to Shavers......now, there's no way I won't go back there. That was the best poboy fried shrimp sandwich I've ever had!!! And, though I'm stuffed like a turkey, I'm excited to try more of the menu items!! Great job at winning over a picky eater, y'all!

It didn't live up to my expectations, had the Nola Shrimp, $20.00 it was a small portion and the seasoning more like crawfish boil.

I am always looking for that gem that small restaurant or hole in the wall that has great food. I've eaten authentic Cajun/New Orleans seafood and I am usually disappointed in what I am served by places claiming to be such. Yesterday I found that gem in Shreveport. Shavers is the real deal, the Alligator on the Po-Boy was tender and seasoned perfectly, the BBQ Shrimp with pistoles was best I've had and the crawfish were large and cooked perfect, easy to peel, but meat was still firm. I can't wait to get back to Shreveport, Shavers will be my first stop.

The crawfish are always seasoned and cooked to perfection. Their catfish and shrimp Poboys are one of my favorites too. If you are on the lookout for great Cajun cuisine and catering services, then you should check out Shaver's Catering .

This place has the best seasoned crawfish ever, and you don't have to wait long to get them. I ordered 5 pounds and got them within 6 mins another customer came in ordered 30 pounds, got his in the same time frame. So if your looking for a reasonable crawfish place without the long wait time, Shaver's is the place for you

This is the worse crawfish in Shreveport. I have been here for 5 days and have tried different places. Why I tried this place is beyond me as I believe I found the best place "CrawDaddys" on Mansfield road. Not sure of the spelling but just Goggle it and you'll find them. No I don't work there. I bought 6 pounds of crawfish to go and when I got home to eat I was so disappointed. They were hard, no juice in the head and when you tried to peel them good luck getting the meat out of the shell. Save yourself and go somewhere else for crawfish. Wasted trip.

I just caved to get crawfish not being able to wait for prices to drop and quickly regretted my decision. The heads tasted fishy and unclean and tails were hard to pull out because they were so mushy and most I couldn’t even eat. I found a lot of dead to smashed crawfish as well. I usually always go here for crawfish but will not return. I understand why crawfish is 7.99 a pound but at that price they should be amazing at that price and these were anything but amazing. I
