Jam's roast beef po boy is excellent, perfect amount of meat and tasty bread ... I asked for the owner 'Amy' to tell her how much I loved my sandwich and she suggested I try the ALL YOU CAN EAT catfish so that is my next conquest! In business for almost 20 years Jam's is amazing! Steve

I have been going to this restaurant since it opened everything they serve is awesome I enjoy the fish and I enjoy the red beans and rice they are the place to be the service is very friendly is very family-oriented I like the place tremendously I recommend it to anybody and everybody

The food was terrible. Fairly quick delivery though. 45 minutes. They forgot part of the oder and when I called they offered either a refund or to bring it. I opted for the delivery. The woman who answered the phone said that it wouldn't be any time soon because they had other deliveries. I had it delivered just out of curiosity. It took like over an hour! The driver was very kind though. I'm definitely just going to go pick up food from somewhere next time. Totally not worth it.

My experience with their customer service was okay they just opened the Metairie location about 4 days ago and they were prepared. Myself along with 7 other coworker's ordered food and each one of us did not enjoy the food. The lettuce for the salad was old and wilted, the fries were soggie, the fried pork chops were bland and very greasy as if they were put in a deep fryer instead of a skillet. We always eat out at the local restaurants all the time but we will not be visiting this restaurant. Disappointed customer :(

This restaurant is my rediscovered favorite place. I've been eating here since they were off Vets, and I have to say it's the best local delivery place you can ask for. The food is hot, the staff is always friendly, and most importantly the food is NEVER bad! They say 45 minutes but they usually only take 40 for delivery, and the food is STILL hot. They really do cook things to order. Support local business and GO HERE!

I started out with Jam's Po-boys years ago when they were in the Sena mall off from vets and with the super delicious food and the wonderful staff that made you feel like you are at a Mama's house (Ms Any & Ms Lynn) I followed them to their new location on Airline hwy ..... If you're in search of a fabulous home cooked meal than this is the place you need to go !

Ordered from grubhub. Wasn't too worried about how long it took for the food to get to me. I was absolutely disgusted by the woman who delivered my food. When she delivered my food she told me that next time I should order my food either an hour before or an hour after the time I ordered my food so that the traffic wouldn't be bad for her. I was flabergasted that she even said that to me. I was even more pissed that I had paid the tip before with my credit card when ordering my food because I wouldn't have given her anything for her rudeness. I work in hospitality and I can't even imagine saying something like that to a paying customer. If traffic is such a big deal then you should say you can't deliver in my area. Never spending money here again. Food was just ok.

I stop there for lunch today. First time i have ate there. The lady that waited on me was so sweet and so nice. Why looking at the menu i notice they have alot of different stuff to eat. Pasta , soups , salads , sandwiches almost anything you want. I had lasagna and a salad. It was very good . This place also does catering i look at the prices and the prices are not bad at all. This place is open at 10:00 and closes at 6:00 during the week. I would go back and eat there again it a nice cozy place to seat and eat lunch with a friend. The place was nice and clean and they were very nice. By the way its in the Rouses parking lot

I'm not one to eat out much because it's so hard to find a restaurant with "happy" servers and "good " food priced fairly. I stumbled on Jam's Po-boys and I can tell you it was the best experience I've had in years when it comes to eating out. I walked in and a couple was sitting at a table who overheard me say I was going to get a ham and swiss po-boy. He got my attention telling me "you don't want that, get the fried catfish and I promise you , you will enjoy it. It's the best and I come from Houma all the way here to eat. Their food is great.!" I decided against the po-boy and figured I'd take his suggestion and let me tell you, he was so right! The fish was perfect. Not too thin, not too thick and the batter was light, crispy and hot! The french bread was very fresh, potato salad, macaroni was very good as well. My friend had the Salisbury steak with green beans and mac. I tried his and it was a thick all meat ( no mushy bread crumb added to stretch the meat) gravy and onions , yum, The beans were smothered with ham and seasoned perfectly. Tasted wonderful.Really good home cooking like your mother or grandmother would prepare. The catfish was all you could eat and the portions were plenty. Alot of food for 2 people and the bill was under $21.00 Very clean, comfortable, nice music choice in the background. The server was upbeat, knowledgeable of the menu and "happy" to serve. I cannot find ONE thing that was a disappointment. Menu has much to chose from so go fill your belly on some really good cooking at Jam's. Relax, enjoy . I'll be back and so will you. PROMISE!

I was invited to Middendorf"s today. Their fish doesn't come close to the fish at Jam's. The seasoning was almost nonexistent.

I ordered Catfish Po-boy sandwich, Onion Rings Appetizer and Bread Pudding for Desert. All were very GOOD. I will order again. This place is so much better than Cajun Grill & Bar for Delivery. It took 1 hour to deliver but that is acceptable for Delivery of food. The Onion rings are Homemade and Excellent but very expensive at $6.50. I don't care if you get a lot - large serving, that does NOT justify the cost. Onions, flour, oil to fry in do NOT cost that much. That's my ONLY disappointment. The price should be more like $3.50 to $4.00 at the most.

Been to Jams a couple of times and everything has been very good. We go there for lunch during the week and the lunch specials are cheap and properly sized for lunch. Service could be a little better but does not ruin the experience as a whole.

We absolutely LOVE Jams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We order from them all the time. Food is delivered quickly. Staff is friendly. FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!!! Burgers are thick, handmade burgers...not those frozen patties.
