Great food great service. The server that helped us, I think his name was Kory, was very helpful. I had the Atchlafalya benidict, OMG it was awesome. Alligator sausage was so good we bought 3 lbs to take home to Georgia. My husband had the seafood grand omelet. It was very good as well. So glad we stopped for breakfast. If we ever come back through we will stop at Frank's.

I don't know what happened to this place but the food and service is terrible now. I'd rather go to waffle house now, at least you get acknowledged at your table. I think we sat there 10 minutes before someone came to take our drink order. When we got our food I honestly don't remember it being so basic and crummy. Having to wait 20 minutes for that was just insulting

Frank's is usually pretty good, but today things seemed to be a little off. It took awhile before we were able to order our food. Then getting our food took longer than it ever has before. Our waitress forgot to give my friend his eating utensils and then the bill seemed higher than it should have been. Maybe today was just an off day?

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. Franks is not just any old dinner. Its family. Destiny our regular waiter is so good. She remembers our regular orders, always greets us with a smile and is always happy to answer any questions we have. Not to mention the food is wonderful, very consistent and fresh to order.

If you live here and haven't eaten breakfast here, I'm sorry for you. The staff and the patrons alike are akin to a type of family. If you read the slogan of "It's all Good", it's the truth. Over the years they have expanded the menu to meet particularly different dietary needs which I think is wonderful.

Whatever you're ordering, expect a good delivery on it; from the massive portions to the friendly faces, everything about this place is perfect for family and friends... it's not going to be the best food you'll ever eat, but it is certainly worth my hard earned dollars from time to time!

When you gotta have a down home breakfast, Frank's is the spot. But you really can't go wrong almost anywhere down here. Staff is friendly and you will get full. Don't think I ever had a to go box for breakfast.

Really 4.5 stars. Great food, great service, big portions, very reasonable price. Sunday special is baked pork roast with choice of wht rice or mashed taters with brown gravy, 2 sides, a roll, and a cornbread. Pork was tinder & tasty. About $14 including drink before tip. Would have gotten 5 stars but the sweet tea is made with manufactured sweetener that contains artificial sweeteners and the lima beans were kinda mooshy.

Frank's is one of those rare down-home spots that isn't the hipster interpretation of "down home," but is actually the real deal. When they said that the potatoes would be smothered in gravy, what they meant was that the Mississippi River of gravy would be diverted through my potatoes. And "sides" don't mean "sides" nearly as much as they mean a small entree unto themselves.

French toast was toast and it was supposed to be stuffed French toast and it was spread on top of the French toast instead of the middle of the French toast and the waitress did not tell me the truth about the food was not with the order I had to different orders that I thought was one. But the shrimp and grits had good taste to it even when it was cold. Would not ever go back.

There are not many places left on the map where one can walk in to a bit of history and feel the days of old envelop you, welcome you in with a friendly smile, a sense if nostalgia, and a hot cup of coffee. Frank's is just such a place, and it is fine indeed. We stopped in for breakfast on a Tuesday morning, headed home to Florida after a short visit. Our waitress was warm and friendly, very attentive to our every want and need, and she took a moment to chat with us about the menu, the weather, the good things about living. The food was more than plentiful and tasted like breakfast at Grandma's house. We all four of us ate until we were stuffed, then ate a little more, because you just don't leave such good yumminess on a plate. I'm pretty sure that's bordering on sacrilege. As the place filled up, our waitress became even busier but she never failed to check on us throughout our stay. Pricing is more than reasonable for the large servings you receive. And the atmosphere reminds me of Grandma's house on a sunny weekend morning.

As far as breakfast goes this Restaurant is truly second to no other restaurant in Baton Rouge. Only open 5am til 2pm they are the premier restaurant in Baton Rouge in this time slot. Both times I enjoyed this restaurant my servers (Destiny the 1st time and Anne the 2nd) were not only extremely professional but have the sweetest natures. They represent what a great restaurant is supposed to be. Food quality and quantity is far superior to other Baton Rouge restaurants open in this time slot. Do not miss out on this perfect gem of a Baton Rouge tradition!
