Nice but pretty mild Mexican food. Service is QUICK, portions are generous. They get the food out VERY fast. Had the Garlic Shrimp, was pretty good. Could have been more sauce served with the shrimp, more boiled than seared. Guacamole was solid

This is an excellent place to eat. The pitcher of margaritas was so good we ordered another. They served chips with salsa. We also had the cheese sauce to go with them. Food came quickly and was hot, delicious. We ate outside since the weather was so agreeable. Service was friendly , kind and accommodating. The manager came over to say hello and ask about our experience. He didn't know us ( our 1st time) but knew the other couple who are regulars (they are picky about places to eat). Then the owner stopped by to say hello. Parking is free. It's handicapped accessible. Good place to bring the family. Definitely will be going there again.

Wonderful experience. I went on a visit with my parents and I was impressed by the expansion. The last time I went it was smaller. They seem to be pretty busy so I'm glad they are bigger. The food came on time. The food was perfect. They even had a gluten free experience for my mother who has celiac. Overall, it was very pleasant and I would highly recommend going when in town.

I've lived in Texas for the last 25 years and I would consider this restaurant as pretty good. The salsa is absolutely nothing special. I hear with my siblings and their spouses and all of them enjoyed their meal. I had fajita salad and the fajita meat was good. I thought that's the margarita that I had was a second best in town. I think Mama's is the best. I read the reviews saying that this was not as good as El nopal's or tumbleweed. I disagree I think it is better. I also think Chuy's is better than this, with Mama's being the best. I do not think the portions are particularly large, and their Margaritas are on the high price side. The service was excellent and siblings and I really had a good time there.

For the first time, I recently visited the Crestwood location in a party of 6. Surprisingly, none of us ordered any of the food specials. However, what food we did order was prompt & hot. We all said our food, tacos, burritos, & Mexican salad, tasted very good. Upon our arrival, the server immediately brought us chips & salsa & kept filling the bowls when they were empty. The chips were fresh &, to me, salsa is basically salsa anywhere you go so I got a bowl of queso & it was good. I thought the margaritas were good, too. 5 of the 6 of us had at least 2 of them. They were priced a little higher than some of the other places we have gone so if I was just going for the drink alone, I'd probably go elsewhere. Overall, it was a very good experience. The service & the food was very good. The building, inside & out, also looked very clean. I will go again in the future.

We have been there many times but on this Friday at around 6pm, it was a disaster, we usually sit at the bar and to my surprise, there was a woman who was eating there behind the bar trying to make our drinks, there wasn't any servers. The woman who said she used to bar tend there didn't have a clue,we left and ate somewhere else, very disappointing, especially on a Friday night

Gustavo's was packed, even on a week night. It is very popular in our community. I have to say that the chips and salsa were great, and the staff courteous and attentive. We went for our love of fajitas, and purchased a double order, but these just were not for me. The skillet was piled high with peppers, onions and tiny pieces of chicken. There were also lots of tomatoes, which made everything juicy, and just was not my thing. I was charged an additional $2.99 because shredded cheese is not included when you order fajitas. $3 for a cup of cheese! I realize this is way too much talk about fajitas, but this is the only menu item we tried. Based on the popularity of this establishment, I would be willing to try again, but obviously try something else on the menu. Maybe I should bring my own cheese next time ...

We had a party of 14 for a birthday celebration and were well accommodated. The food is good and not over-priced. Service was good, too -- especially considering our party size. They brought fried ice cream and sang to the birthday boy. The only negative for me, and this is purely a personal preference, is that they are very generous with the cilantro.

First time there and I'd never go back. Took 45 minutes for my meal to arrive and it was only one entree. When I got it, there was literally no seasoning on my fajita vegetables and it was barely cooked through. The salad wasn't great that came with it either. Waiter would disappear for awhile and was hard to find. Did give me a discount for the trouble even though I didn't ask for one. I didn't finish my meal as it was not tasty and I did not take home the leftovers. Can't believe this palace has a 4.5 star rating currently.

As a transplanted Californian I am always on the lookout for good Mexican food. I went here with a group of 10 women. Food was excellent and not just the usual. Service staff were quick and pleasant. 11/4/17 Have to remove some stars after going back for dinner/supper a couple of months later. I ordered 3 fish tacos and a coke. Waiter took drink order before entries and brought my husband's, but not mine. No biggee, but when it arrived with my 3 Fish Tacos, I was turned off by the scrawny slices of darkened, brown overly ripe pieces of avocado. They should never have left the kitchen. Better to have left them off entirely. Otherwise, people were polite and service relatively quick...perhaps too quick, as my dish was whisked away as soon as I lifted my hand with the last bite.

Gustavo's is such a fun place to gather with friends or family, to eat and to drink. I've celebrated many birthdays here, for myself and for others. The staff is kind and the service is crazy fast. Went here for lunch last week with a fellow brother from Church. We were greeted upon entering and seated promptly. The staff was great in keeping our chips filled at all times. I ordered one of the Vegetarian combo lunch meals and it was delicious. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. Definitely will eat here again or after church service at Southeast.

1st time visiting. I liked that they give each guest at the table a thier own bowl for salsa dipping. My daughter said the margaritas were really good. Didn't care for the refried beans but over all the food was pretty good. The cheese dip is pretty runny tho.

Holly guacamole, this place jams! Amazing street tacos, the chrizo being my favorite followed by the Al pastor. The salsa tasted especially fresh and the chips fried in house. The only down side is there were no margaritas but the beer selection was one of the best I've ever seen for a Mexican restaurant. Worth the trip, y'all must go!

I've been here twice and had horrible food and service. I got a burrito one time and it was mild, and service was horrible. Second time I got a burger and the order was wrong. It made me sick for about 2 days. I don't recommend going here.

Terrible. We were there for a school get together of several years. They provided a buffet for us. They had small 6 inch plastic plate's for us to use. We complained and they said for us to use several. After much complaining they provided larger plates. They only provided things to make taco's and nothing was hot.That cost us $12.00. Terrible meal.

We went during a non busy hour and everything was wonderful. Service was speedy and everything was delicious. I got the shrimp tacos and they were perfection. The shrimp wasn't over cooked and the chipotle sauce was amazing. Guacamole was also very fresh and chunky. Definitely check it out if you are in the area and have a craving for Mexican.
