So, so delicious. Our waitress was very helpful in helping us pick out items since this was our first visit. We both chose The Daltons and split a Scottish egg. The food came out in about 15 minutes, and everything was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Modifies from original recipe but it's one of those OMG moments that is so good. And then my choices of sides I'm the starch king (aka heart attack).

The food is good. $3 for half of a biscuit and some gravy was a little overkill though. Everything is mostly a la carte and $2-4. The meals were around $10-12. The 3 stars is quality of service mostly then the quality of food; though I didn't see how everyone says the place is so amazing. I didn't see the exceptional bit to the food. It was good but a lot of restaurants have good food. Service was good, drinks refilled in a timely manner, waitress was super nice and sweet.

This was the first time we have been here for lunch. I can say if you haven't been here for breakfast you must! Breakfast here is the best. Lunch wasn't as good as the breakfast. They close early so make sure you check and see if they are opened when you go. They only serve breakfast and lunch.

We have been traveling for hours and wanted to get out of the car and have a non-fast food meal at a local place. We arrived at Gold Rush and went to the service pew and waited. We knew from the crowd there could be a wait. We stood there waiting for someone to at least acknowledge we were there. Four servers walked by and made eye contact, twice with two of the same servers. Not one time did someone say, "has someone helped you" etc. After almost ten minutes of waiting to get on the waiting list someone finally helped us. The whole time we were waiting there was a completely clean and ready to go table for two. I asked about the table and the waiter said that table is for someone on the list..... This whole experience we wasted about 20 minutes of nothing. Luckily for us we stopped at Red's donuts and has the best donuts ever. Really would have like to try the food at Gold Rush but their system is disorganized and time wasting.

I made the mistake of ordering a non-breakfast item. It was fine, but not as good as it could have been. I got the chicken tenders. They were a little bit dry and not as good as anticipated. Tater Tots were average. If you go and visit, I'd recommend keeping with breakfast items.

I love going to this place and getting breakfast. Be warned, so do many other people. The place isnt overly large and thus isnt ideal for a large group because there will be a wait time. However, it's worth the wait if you have to do so.

So glad we opted for local instead of a chain!!! The meatloaf omelet came minus the meatloaf. When I mentioned it, the cook came out personally to apologize, then made a whole, new omelet!! Their home fries were awesome, as was the sausage gravy, my husband had! You won't find a friendlier staff anywhere!!! Don't miss this one!!!

The food was amazing and service was wonderful. We got there early on a Saturday so missed the crowd. By the time we left, it was packed with a line out the door. Portions are huge for the cost and coffee was good. The place is small so you might have a wait but its worth it. Their unusual menu of omelets was a fun thing to read and talk about. A must try in Paducah!

I've looked thru the other reviews. Guess we were there on a off day. Visited for lunch. Food was ok. We all tried different things. All of us agreed food was a bit bland. Server was pleasant. The salad bar was nice though. Will run about 8 or 9 dollars with tip for lunch.

Whereas the cheeseburger had a decent flavor to it, the burger itself was extremely thin almost felt like a piece of jerky. I expect to pay extra for additional toppings like cheese and bacon, but 50 each for every other topping is WAY expensive. A head of lettuce is like 2.00 I paid 50 cents for barely I shred. A tomato is about 1.00 I paid 50 cents for a very thin slice. This place makes all their money apparently by charging you for toppings that 99% of other restaurants that serve burgers include as a base. I won't be going back personally.

Best breakfast ever. Epic. The Scottish Eggs were amazing, as was the biscuits and gravy. Having served many years in our fine US Navy, I will honestly say Gold Rush has them beat. (For this land lubbers who weren't privy to this fact, the US Navyis known for their breakfast). We found Gold Rush on Google when we were planning our trip to the Superman Celebration. Everything was excellent, even the service. The Tea was great. The tater tots were nice. Very fun and fast service. Don't hesitate.

Went yesterday for breakfast and noticed a new menu, it's been 7 months since I've been there. Don't know if new menu means new ownership or not, but something changed. I always told people it was the best breakfast in town, but after yesterday, I'd rather eat breakfast at Burger King. It was AWFUL. Home fries came out black and the omelet was deplorable. Just eggs in the pan until it was completely dry and hard. You know it's bad because when the cook folded it over, it broke into 2 pieces. I lifted them apart with my fork. And you always know bad eggs because you're in the bathroom multiple times within a few hours. Then it took 10 minutes to pay because the server needed a smoke break. Apparently the management staff is okay with this as well. This restaurant should move to Metropolis, the quality is a perfect fit.

This place is amazing!! It is a smaller place so there is not alot of room to sit and wait while while you are waiting on a table but so worth it. The diner feel is there, but all the random decor around the building makes it feel even more laid back and fun. Great place for breakfast anytime you are downtown in the mornings.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant. Incredibly delicious and sometimes unique dishes at very reasonable prices. My family of 5 adults had the breakfast buffet on Saturday at the cost of about $10/person, for all you can eat amazing food! The staff is always outgoing and friendly, and we've never had to wait for a table. Plus it's located in downtown Paducah near the waterfront, within walking distance of several shops and galleries.

Cute restaurant in historic downtown Paducah, KY. Be prepared to wait to be seated, but take a look at everything on its walls. Our server was great and fun to chat with. The food was pretty good and there's a few interesing dishes on the breakfast menu.

The owner is rude the servers were rude.They are fit to each other. We ordered and after 1 hour (60 minutes) literally 60 minutes. She came with one order and tell us they are out for the second order!!!! I we talked to the owner he said “I’m sorry” and left he didn’t do or say anything else!!! People came after us and they have their food and left 1 dollar tip, they were nice to give them this much!! Wors experience in my whole life in a restaurant. Congrats gold rush!!
