The food is excellent, The service I received from Jessica was underwhelming at best. I called and spoke to Jessica to add a side of pickles to an order. She rudely stated I needed to call door dash and she can not add anything. Pickles have no charge.!! The door dash does not have a option for pickles. Why couldn't she just throw the darn pickles in the bag?? Poor attitude. Will not order from this store again.

Always good food! Had some new items on the menu since I had been there last, the person running the counter was very helpful in explaining the differences. It was very busy of course while I was asking him this, he was never rude or flustered or acted like I needed to hurry up.

Excellent food as always. I would still prefer to get waited on for my table and this is the main reason the restaurant wasn't as accepted regionally as it could have been. The pricing is higher than it should be for the serivice. Again this is why a restaurant like CB has failed locally for the most part. A sit down experience would make the restaurant more successful. A small short-term loss of profit would net a gain long term. But unfortunately most business people are short-sighted and more interested in a quick buck, which is why your restaurant will likely fail eventually, which is a shame as the food is quite good.

Had the smaller sampler (brisket, pulled pork, turkey and sausage with two side [I had collard greens and vinegar cole slaw]). Everything was spot on, including the sausage and collard greens. Was enough food for two for sure. Didn't bother with the sauce...the true mark of great BBQ for me. The sampler was $20.13 tax included without a drink. You won't be disappointed here.

First time visit last week, had a smoked turkey sandwich which was piled high with the incredibly moist and tender turkey. They also have great selection of bbq sauces but their warm house bbq was the best. Definitely going back!

Very friendly staff. I wasn't there during a busy time, but the food was out almost instantly. Huge selection of different BBQ sauces. I love city bbq. For a chain, they make pretty good pulled pork. Is it going to beat home made? No but its good for a quick bite.

Barbeque is generally good, but each visit has had a disappointing element. We carry out more often than not. The time before last, the ribs were extremely fatty. The most recent time, the trimmed brisket was sliced perfectly while the "full-cut" brisket was sliced with the grain, leaving meat that couldn't be eaten without excessive masticatiom. Next time, I'll examine the meats before I leave the restaurant. The sides have been perfect and the peach cobbler is fantastic.

I've been going to this place for a while and usually get the same thing. Well, my last two visits were the same order of brisket. In the past the brisket has been moist and tender with some fat attached. The past two visits the brisket has been very dry and hard. I don't know what has changed, but I'm not a fan of it. You might have just lost some customers.

Good basic barbecue. Staff is friendly, if a little short when busy. It's a part of a chain, so the food is basically good, but nothing amazing. Prices are higher than a fast casual place but cheaper than a higher end shop. Plan on spending around ten bucks per person. The cowbell is pretty good, and the sweet tea is some of the best you can find this far north

We ordered the sampler that included smoked turkey, turkey sausage, brisket and pulled pork. My favorites were the turkey items and the sauces. While my man preferred the other two meats. All of those sauces were so delicious. I tried all of them and wish I could eat with them all the time at home. I really don't like BBQ sauce. But one tasted like a flavorful green BBQ salsa. I was hoping the brisket would be more tender though, to be honest. That's why I went. So my search continues for the most tender BBQ brisket.

We came here for dinner while visiting from out of state. We got the shredded pork family meal and a half slab of ribs. The fries were very good. They were like fair fries. They do need salt, but it's great like that you can add as much/little as you want. All the food was good, but my husband and I liked the ribs from Texas Roadhouse more. You seat yourself and there are no servers. So tables are first come first served kind of thing. It was a good price, and the ribs are on sale on Tuesdays for a dollar and some change per bone. Good place for a family dinner.

They serve good meats at reasonable prices. Portions are a bit on the small side compared to a sit down, full table service restaurant but the price reflects that. The sides are better than you expect, they're pretty much all better than they should be.

I'm a Texan and therefore a barbecue snob. We have incredibly wonderful barbecue in the Lone Star State and it's always a challenge to find anything close to it while traveling. Today I found it right here at City Barbeque! What wonderful, melt-in-your-mouth brisket with incredibly perfect flavor! The fries and collard greens were pretty dang good as well, but that banana pudding was the grand finale! Well done Kentuckians, I am highly impressed!

City Barbeque catered a "Celebration of Life" event after my father's funeral. I cannot express how pleased I am with their performance, food and pricing. From the very beginning Jennifer was a pleasure to deal with and later Tom helped with some last minute adjustments and even donated the warmers. From ordering, the delivery and setup and the exceptional quality of the food City BBQ in Florence hit this one out of the park. Everyone at the dinner commented on how good the food was and several had also commented that they would use them for their events. I am already planning two other events that need catering in the coming months and will look no further than City BBQ! Great job to everyone on your team and thank you for taking one more worry off my plate and replacing it with brisket!

Sad by the time I arrived the brisket was sold out! The pulled pork and ribs were very good. If you like vinegar based sauces, definitely have the swine wine! It was so good we got a bottle to take home! There were many sauces, have fun trying them all. The bourbon and peach habanero tied for my second favorite. I enjoyed the hush puppies and the Rhinegeist Cheetah local beer. I usually take tons of photos but I was so hungry I eat immediately. Lastly, the manager Chris had AMAZING hospitality that went beyond words! Absolutely worth and visit. If I'm back in area I will definitely return!

Great portion sizes. The pulled pork is easily enough for 2 heaping sandwiches. I only ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was surprised with 3 samples of sides and 2 cups of BBQ sauce upon opening my carryout bag. The staff was very friendly and more than happy to answer my questions. Would definitely recommend and will be returning regularly. It's hard to comment on the flavor of the food as every BBQ varies as much as people's expectations but it is very tender and juicy.

This was a legitimately good BBQ place. For the price, you'll be hard pressed to find a better joint. I got the brisket and the ribs. Both were done quite well. I tried most of the sauces, however, my favorite turned to be the original. The others were just a tad too gimmicky for me. However, just my opinion. I still highly recommend this place.

I was really pleased with this place, especially since it is a chain. Had the ribs and jacked mac and cheese with brisket. Loved the ribs and the sauces that I tried were delicious. They were light on the brisket (upcharge), but the dish itself was very tasty and indulgent. Would definitely come back and get a slab of ribs and some brisket by the pound.

My family got the Cowbell sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, burnt tips, macncheese, collards, potato salad, green beans and cornbread. The cowbell is brisket between Texas toast, and has toppings that you would find on a cheese steak sandwich. It was delicious. Pulled pork sandwich was perfect, and we all enjoyed tasting the different sauces available. My favorite was the peach harbarnero. I enjoyed the potato salad and collards were just like my grandmas country cooking(not a fan of the sweet cornbread, but that is because we do not do it sweet at home). Daughter also liked the macncheese. We enjoyed our meal, and by downloading the City Barbecue App, we were able to get $5.00 off of our meal. Large portions, so remember when ordering.

They were out of 2 meats and a few other items so having to resort to getting pulled chicken while eating the chicken there was a Lrg sharp bone stabbed into my mouth. See pictures. I would not recommend the pulled chicken. I had to wipe down my own table as well as sticky stuff off the booth seats. There BBQ sauce warmer was also broken and after informing them of the issues they did not seem to concerned about it just saying well it happens. Overall I would recommend one of the many other better BBQ places close by.

Ever since I tried the turkey breast sandwich, it has been my go-to entree. And this time, it did not disappoint!!! So tender and moist...add pickles and a little of the bourbon bbq sauce and I'm in heaven. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! my sides were the hugh pile of fries and the Gumbo. Yes, Gumbo was on the menu and boy was it good. Just the right amount of heat, too. I had such a big amount of food left that I had enough for lunch the next day...except the gumbo cuz that was eaten right away while it was hot. Great job Florence City BBQ!

Great and fast BBQ joint I'm impressed with the quality of Barbeque from a chain restaurant. I wish this chain was available in my area. This location was very easy and convenient to use when I was traveling. I only got take out but they prepare the food quickly and packaged it well. I appreciated the brisket the burnt ends and the chocolate cake as well. I wish I had time to enjoy more of the menu.

Wow. I always loved the food and service here. Ordered the "Motherload" meal for a family of 4, and sides were in smaller containers than the sauces. $60 is not a fair price, and City BBQ is no longer a good value for the money. Sorry guys.

I love this place. The meats are outstanding, flavorful, moist. This afternoon I watched my brisket being sliced fresh from the smoker. How does it get better than that? The sides are surprisingly varied for a chain restaurant, also very good. The staff is friendly, the sauces complement the meats well and the drinks are bottomless. I’ve had the privilege of eating in some fine restaurants both locally and while traveling, and enjoyed those experiences immensely. My enjoyment of City Barbeque’s food is up there with many of the finer restaurants I’ve been to.
