**Update: as of June 6th BAC has a fresh new menu w/more BBQ options, keeping the Bean Roll and the Smoo! Plus they have White Rascal, a really good beer. And Schlaflys Summer Lager, another good choice. Staff is top-notch but cut them some slack during busy nights when college kids are tasting beer for the first time. Food is constantly good, good burger, good bacon cheese fries, good Big Apple BBQ, try the Beer Cheese Soup and the ribs. They do Trivia on Wed and Questionnairy on Thurs. Dart tourney on Tues/Thurs. Dont trifle with waitresses.

I have enjoyed The Big Apple's food and entertainment for years. Their Special Bean Roll is the house specialty, and what I get nearly every visit. They often feature local bands on the weekends, and their wait staff is always friendly and helpful.

I stopped by for lunch. I got the rib lunch. The ribs were pretty good. All of their sauces were hot. Hotter is not always better. No mild sauce. Need the variety for those that like a mild sweet sauce.

Came home for Thanksgiving and went on Sat night. Food was as I remembered but service was not good. Place was not even half full. Asked for 4 knives and was told they only had 3 clean ones. Really? TVs were not working. Place has gone down hill. Won’t go back unless it’s just for drinks.

Big Apple cafe located in Murray My. This locally owned restaurant and pub servers outstanding food and excellent adult drinks. However I warn you do not get too friendly with some of the female waitress staff. I have had them catch me off guard When I make contact with them By touching her on her arm, Up to the point when I touched her arm our conversation was very friendly As I was standing at the Register closing out my tab. Her mood changed completely caught me off guard and her approach was totally unfriendly. Needless to say I will never go in that bar if that young waitress is working. There are other areas that I can patron.

If there was a spot for a half star I would have hit that. Ordered prime rib subs for my girl and i along with the hashbown casserole .Like we have before it was be fore the place changed hands. 1st there online menu has not been updated .They offer this sub along with 1 side for 6.99 .We ended up paying 11.99. But if that wasn't enough the sub bread was hard and we got one thin ass layer of prime rib looked to be sliced on a 1/2 .could see thru it. And we paid nearly twice the money. Hashbown casserole was nasty as well. Lets just say would have rather just made some hamburger helper and called it a night. Won't be going back that's for sure.

This local hot spot has the atmosphere you're looking for. From live bands to community events like trivia and dart nights. Had my first experience the night here and it was great. The two guys up front made me feel more like a buddy than a customer. They took the time to tell me about specials and all of the opportunities to hang out and have fun. I see myself visiting often. Not to mention the food was delicious. I had the Boone Burger and my wife has the barbeque. One of the best meals I've eaten in Murray. It's a must see!
