I have no doubt that this caterer does a spectacular job at events. My review is solely on how they handled my inquiry.

Spoke with a representative about my upcoming wedding. I heard good things but I also heard that they are more of a high end, so I wanted to know if my budget would be enough. Domonique was very nice and took notes on my ideas and budget, and told me that it is doable. But they couldn’t get back to me until possibly January because they were busy at the time, which I completely understood.

Received a preliminary menu with an invoice which cost more than twice as high as my budget. I spoke with Michelle, event specialist assigned to me and discussed about my expectations and budget. Michelle was nice (talked over me a lot though...) and honest about how meeting my budget might be difficult but she told me she will try and get back to me in a few days.

Received an email from Michelle saying they can’t lower the cost and that they might not be the right caterer for my wedding. And Lon Lane replied to that email “perfect and thank you”
It’s perfect that they made me wait a whole month and can’t meet my budget?
My frustration is this;
Why couldn’t they tell me that my budget wasn’t enough in the first place? I waited for a whole month because I liked how Domonique told me what they offer, I would have moved on to another caterer if I knew I was under budget for them. I am very disappointed.
