I've been coming here for the past 5 years that I've lived in Williamsburg and it is unlike anything I could have dreamed of having when I lived in Iowa City. Gourmet dishes with a unique spin! If you come here more than once, they really work to get to know you and anticipate what dish you'd like to try the night you come in! I recommend calling ahead, even if you're 15 minutes out because the place can become completely packed in a matter of minutes.

I was passing through and was recommended by one of the locals to stop there and have a bite. I am very disappointed in the service by ALL of the staff, especially the owner. I was so disappointed by the service that i really dont have any positive words on the food. When i went in there they made it seem like i was intruding. Next time i pass through town ill just keep going. There are better places to stop and eat in town than this place.

Another amazing restaurant in a place that we wouldn't know existed aside from the invention of the map. Set off the main road, the atmosphere is set as soon as you pull up as the place is located, literally, inside a gutted out house. You walk through the kitchen on your way to your table, but it never truly goes away as the place is completely open. The walls are decorated with eclectic offerings from former patrons as well as signatures from those that have come before. It's seriously impressive how many people have signed this place! Now to the serious talk, the food. Mike, the cook, is an amazingly trained cook and loves what he does! The Alfredo sauce he makes is some of the best we've ever tasted and he serves up some great dishes ranging from pastas to delicious pork ribs and make things in between! It's a BYOB spot so grab your favorite beverage (we've seen $100 bottles of wine as well as cases of Busch lite) and enjoy it with some great grub. Perhaps the most impressive part to Myer's is the service though. We brought some friends in one night and had some cheese from the Amana colonies. We asked if they would cut it up for us and not only did they do that, but they made an incredible spread that included slices whole, melted on bread and a compote made for the occasion. We've never been treated as less than close friends in this place and they do it for everyone! Another tid-bit - Each year they try to break the record for tallest corn stalk. If you go in the fall, the stalks grace the fence as you come in! Seriously, check this place out. Great food and even better stories about a place that's unlike anywhere you've ever been and will leave you wanting to try everything on the menu!

We have been in Amanna colonies all week and did not get a great meal till we came here on a fluke. Looks are decieving it looks like a burgers and fri hole in the wall but instead the food is 5 stars. My wife had seared tuna and I had shrimp pasta alfredo. Better than we have had in FANCY resturants all over the country. Well worth finding it.

The food is top notch. It's not like your everyday eating establishment which will be apparent as soon as you walk in the door. Every square inch of the walls and ceiling is covered in the happy comments left by those whom have been there before. I love the chicken alfredo. Maybe someday party potatoes will be added to the menu. I've had them on their catering events and loved them!

I've heard great things about the funky set up of this restaurant and finally (sans kiddos) my husband and I were able to experience it. We both enjoyed the best steaks we'd had in a LONG time - everything was seasoned to perfection and tasted wonderful. It was a stormy Tuesday evening and the place was really busy. We really enjoyed our time there and didn't mind to wait even though the staff apologized, we weren't concerned. You could really see the passion that both husband and wife put into their food and service, we had a great time and look forward to going again.

Loved this place so much! The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the chef was great, and we loved jumping over to the grocery store to grab a bottle of wine and open it up...Made the waiting time (which was not long at all) go by quickly! The food is down home comfort food taken to a higher level. A great variety of choices for entrees, sides and dessert. I love the casual and friendly atmosphere. Mike and Tracey are super friendly and they make sure your dining experience is top notch. I've been fortunate to visit Myers Grill twice within the past week. Can't wait for an excuse to go there again! My burger was well done (as requested) and still juicy and flavorful-- I can't do that at home! Just the best food for miles...

Meyer's grill is the place to eat if you are in the area. The food is phenomenal and the owners are the best. One of the perks is getting to watch Mike create your meal. You are greeted like a long list friend when you walk through the door into his kitchen.

I eat out a lot and all over the U.S. I was in Williamsburg for a conference at Kinze. This was great food, an innovative menu and a unique environment. If you are tired of all the same, boring dining experiences I recommend this place. It's unlike anything I've ever experienced. Tasty, affordable and fun. At the end of dinner Mike and Tracey (the owners) took me around to show me their record breaking tall corn, 1965 VW bus and their sweet dogs. I'm telling you, these people have developed an experience that is groundbreaking. Check it out.

Eclectic atmosphere, fantastic food and great price! I had the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon with potatoes with a honey mustard sauce and the price was $13! There was so much food I had the other half for dinner the next day and was stuffed again! Really worth looking for. I'll go back next time I'm in town.

This Lil place is The BOMB.COM!! I was in town to get my car fixed by a good friend of mine and he mentioned this place to eat while I was in town. I went there with my daughter and had a good meal. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I would recommend this place to eat. Very good comfort and home cooked food. Love it

Food was delish. My husband and I spent some time googling small town restaurants. We came across Myers Grill. I told my husband I found a place to try. The reviews were very good and you know the reviews were right. Large portion size that my husband and I shared. Prices very reasonable. We left full and very pleased with our find. Definitely will be back. It is that a little hidden hole in the wall. If you sneeze you'll drive right by. But so worth it! Very good. Staff very friendly. Thought we'd go out for a Ice Cream afterwards but just to full.
