Dostal's catered our wedding earlier this month and I was left with mixed feelings regarding our experiences with them. On the plus side, they were always very responsive when we called with questions or changes and seemed very flexible with a couple special requests. The food itself was very good at our wedding. No complaints on that end whatsoever. The staff was prompt with cleaning up tables and I know my family appreciated how they boxed up the leftovers for us in the tupperware containers we brought along. As far as negatives go... the special requests the seemed so flexible with during the planning portion of things were all but completely forgotten during the actual event. Dostal's generally provides cups for beverages, but we asked that they wouldn't for our wedding so that our guests would be prompted to use the mugs we were giving away as wedding favors. The person we spoke to at Dostal's happily agreed with this, but what we agreed upon didn't happen. Our beautiful favors seemed completely out of place and unnecessary as people used the little plastic cups that Dostal's was serving beverages in. Also, we requested that the tacky styrofoam plates that are normally used for the wedding cake not be used, but instead the slightly-classier clear plastic plates that they normally use for appetizers. Again, we were told that would be no problem. I was more than a little disappointed to see my beautiful wedding cake served on those flimsy styrofoam plates. These might seem like minor complaints to some, but when we paid for a service and were given certain guarantees... it was disappointing. My wedding day was gorgeous and these moments in which our wishes were ignored were the only instances that sparked frustration on my part.

The food was amazing, our guests were so impressed! Dostals was right on time and ready to go. They also cut our cake for us and set it out in very specific areas. We had several flavors of cake and they did not mind having to put certain pieces in certain areas. They also packaged up all of our leftovers for us (as well as the top tier of our wedding cake that we were saving). It was so nice to not have to ask a friend or family member to do these things and to not have to worry about anything. Not only was the food great but the service was outstanding as well!

We had Dostal Catering assist us with our wedding and they did a great job! The food and service were great and they were easy to work with prior to the day of. We also rented our tablecloths through them for a great price.

Dostal's catering has a Very efficient group of workers and very good pasta bar was set up for our wedding. Tasty and a nice change from meat/potato traditional menu. The only thing would be better containers for leftover food to transport home.

We used Dostal as our wedding caterer and they were great to work with throughout the planning process. Jeff was very responsive to any questions we had and our meeting/tasting went incredibly well. The food was great and our friends and family loved it! One of our guests had some special requirements and the staff was very accommodating on site. We were able to take home leftovers in our own containers so the deliciousness didn't stop after our wedding reception. We would highly recommend Dostal to anyone!

Food was good but what really impressed us was the service. They took care of EVERYTHING. When you have 100 things going through your mind the day of your wedding, these guys won’t have to be one of them. Setting up our date and menu, even though it was just over the phone went great. We started our meal 30 minutes earlier than we had planned and they were standing there ready. At the end, they had packed up all the leftovers, just had some of those for supper tonight even. Pricing was good as well. Very impressed

OMG ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ My daughter was married Saturday March 24 during that horrible snowstorm in Cedar Rapids and we had Jeff and Cindy and the team be our caterer. I can not give enough stars for them!!!! They worked with me and let me pick up silver early to set on tables and keep beverages longer. The are so great to deal with! I feel like I have great friends now....not just a vendor relationship. The food was better than we expected!!!! Would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!! No wonder they have won the A-List every year it has been done!!!! Top notch all around!!!!!!

These guys/gals provided the catering for my buddy's wedding reception and their food and service were top notch. The pulled pork and mashed potatoes were friggin fantastic. We were all pretty amazed at the flavor. They also were very economically friendly with the drinks which made for a great night. Nice work, guys!!

Great service, great food and a great price. We are a military club and they provided a picnic dinner for our group. One man showed up on time, set up and then grilled our dinner. Great job to them.
