This Catering corresponds to the category of Barbecue restaurant.
I absolutely loved this place!! We haven't been here in a long time, but the girls got a tour of the kitchen, and the server was down to earth. Great place to dine!!
They have a different kind of barbecue sauce that I haven't had before. I really liked it. I had barbecue ribs, barbecue beans, bacon and cheese baked potato and a salad. Very good!
Really excellent customer service. Met here for a business meeting and we stayed for awhile. The food was excellent. I had the pulled pork and the sauces were great, they also make many of them in house. Portions were also huge. Definitely recommend!!
Absolutely the worst meal out I have had in years. This places for has always been just marginal at best but the prime rib for myself and guest was way over cooked and gristle and bland, asked for horse radish and got about a small spoonful, just a total disappointment, and waste of time and money and should have known better. Should have just thrown the money out the car window and would have felt better.
Great food and pleasant service!
The buffalo chicken wrap is amazing
The food here is great and their barbecue sauces are unique and delicious. It is a classic smokehouse with a full bar all for a good price. Whenever I am in the area, this is my go to place for good food.
Great hole in the wall little restaurant. Went during lunch, two kids meals, and two lunch specials, two drinks, and chili cheese fries as an appetizer. Total bill came to $78. So although it was nice, it was a "tried it" experience.
I loved the salmon fish. c: The waiter was polite and the service was good.
We happened to stumble upon this restaurant on our way home to Wisconsin. Fabulous service from a lovely waitress named Jacy! Excellent food! The Ribeye was spot on, full of flavor! Wish we lived nearby to visit again!
Great brisket, great price
Excellent service and excellent food.
Always a favorite stop traveling through the area. Delicious food and excellent service!!
Lets start with the good. Our waiter was very nice and apologetic to a fault for things that he could not control also the mens room was very clean. That's IT. Now for the BAD. The food was HORRIBLE. I do not say that lightly. My wife and I as well as my adult soon all have worked in the past in the food service industry so we have some insight into how bad things can go sometimes but what we were served could have been a frozen dinner for all we could tell. I had pulled pork and sliced brisket both were dry, tasteless and overcooked. My wife had the sliced brisket parts were so overcooked they appeared burnt and the rest had cheese on the UNDERSIDE? It appeared as if they had reserved another plate rather than toss it. My son had ribs and steak. The ribs were supposed to be a dry rub but they too seemed old and dry and also had a reheated type look . The steak was actually RAW. He did order medium rare but that was a far cry from what he got. Since he is diabetic we decided to have his sent back but before we could ask our waiter spotted the raw meat from another table he was waiting on, that's how raw it was. We asked to speak to a manger and the young lady who claimed to be a manager was indifferent to our problems and actually made us feel like it was US that was in the wrong. She pulled our plates and took just my son's steak. We knew what was coming next. Instead of a new steak they threw his on something and OVERCOOKED it to near well done, NICE. After one bit he declared it inedible and offered me a bit. It was so tough and tasteless we decided to cut our losses and leave. For the final insult we were presented with a BILL with only my wife and my meals taken off ! Comping meals is part of doing business, there is even a line item for it, but apparently this manager really did think we were wrong. Rather than make a scene , which would have solved nothing, we paid and left We moved into Lebanon just over a year ago and don't go out much because money is tight. My wife decided were we would go that night and felt it was her fault because we had looked at all the reviews but decided we would still go and spend some tax return money. We felt robbed. I own a very nice smoker and have smoked a lot of different meats and other items over the last few years. Not only would I claim that these items were not smoked I would go as far as to say they do not even have a smoker on site and all of these items are cooked off site and trucked in. That is the only explanation we could come up with for the poor quality and horrible tasteless food. That is just my opinion I could be wrong. If you want a good smoked food experience there are a number of places in Indianapolis that are worth the drive. Don't waste your money here.
Very friendly staff. Very yummy food. Very diverse menu. I did not expect this much from a small town restaurant. Everything was excellent
Pretty good bbq
Great cocktails and the food was EXCELLENT. LARRY had the Bleu cheese topped ribeye and was cooked perfectly. Etta and I both had the smoked prime rib which was truly AWESOME
The food was good. Almost REALLY good. But the service was abysmal. Our server couldn't possibly have been any less interested in getting us anything in a timely manner. I'll give Parky's one more shot next time I'm in the area, but if it's the same server, I'm out.
The pulled pork nachos are amazing! I usually order them as my meal. They also have good local beer.
Food was decent but not as good as I would have expected from listening to reviews. Over priced also. I paid $26 for myself.
Friendly staff and great food.
If you've been to Lebanon, IN and not eaten at Parky's, you haven't visited Lebanon, IN. :) The beef brisket is my husband's favorite. I've liked everything I've tried, though the chicken is sometimes a little dry (it has a good flavor, though). The home made barbeque potato chips are amazing! Also, if you like stuffed mushrooms, the kiss-me-not (garlic) mushrooms are a must try.
The service is always consistent, kind and attentive. The food is always good.
The food was quite good and the wait staff was home-town friendly. The appetizer menu is tasty, and they have delicious sweet potato fries instead of regular fries! The atmosphere is warm and relaxed as well.
Food was tasteless and cold
I've been here twice and both times there had been nothing that really stands out to bring me back in the door. Service is good but the food is just so-so. Burgers are fine but the smoked prime rib was tough. Sides are basic BBQ style beens, fries etc.
I had a Caesar salad with smoked chicken. Very good. Server was excellent. The whole restaurant, esp. the barhroom, was very, very clean.
Great food and pretty good prices
The pulled pork was really nice. Loved the BBQ sauce!
Great food, friendly wait staff, fair pricing. Cute clean place, serves food after 9pm. Quick service for food and drinks. Had a great experience. Loved the fact that they have little handheld order processors with which they can also take your payment right at the table so your card never leaves your sight. Good idea!
Food is meh. Tea was good.
Food was great! Friendly wait staff. Food arrived quickly. A definite go to place!
An oasis in the midwestern desert! Just a downright decent bbq place. The choices served naked with a fantastic selection of sauces to add. All the help happy to make sure you're happy.
After reading some negative posts on here I wanted to voice our experience. The atmosphere was clean. The service was great. But the food was the best part—EXCELLENT!!! I had the pulled brisket sandwich, I recommend the spicy bbq to top with, and it was delicious
Really great food and service
The Brisket here was very good!
Austin, the Manager, was awesome! Very personable, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu and their draft beers. He made the perfect recommendations for my first visit to the area and the restaurant. I had the 2 meat combo - brisket and subbed baby back ribs for an additional $5.99 charge, dry rub with all sauces on the side. This was paired with the home-made chips and sweet potato souffle, and both were excellent! Parky's was recommended to me, and I'm recommending Parky's to you. Sit at the bar and have a chat with Austin. Cheers!
Great service. The sauces for the meats are very good.
Super sweet service, big menu, lots of options for sauces and cuts of meat, all very tasty and fairly priced
Its soooo good always been my favorite!!!
Best part was the service from the staff. Fried biscuits were good but the rest of the food was not! The pulled pork tasted like it has been made much earlier then water added to make it “juicy” again and microwaved to heat it up. It tasted like eating watery meat. The sauces helped but still, not great. Sides were just ok. The baked potato was the best part of any of our dinners. Price wasn’t bad but honestly, there are SO many better options for BBQ within 30 minutes of this location. I wanted to like the place because it’s not the boring old chain restaurant but we can’t recommend it. It’s sad because it could be SO good!
It was a good place to eat, I loved the nachos. Our waitress was really attentive. The meat was good, very tender. They had a lot of BBQ sauces to choose from. The Mac n cheese was good, but the loaded mashed potatoes were nothing special. The one thing I had an issue with was the noise level. There was a family with kids(I have nothing against kids, I have some of my own) but this family was so loud my husband couldn't hear me talk and he was right next to me.
I had a great vegan pulled pork sandwich and Mac n cheese.
Great food, courteous staff, friendly atmosphere
Always good an hot
Really good food and service
Lebanon is about 35-40mins from us and we went out to meet with a man to buy something. We was hungry and looked for places around and saw Parkys. We normally don't do bbq joints as they can be pretty pricey in our opinion. They are VERY reasonable though here! Clean, nice staff, and was sat quickly on a Friday night! Lots of choices and a basket of 6 in house made bbq sauces (all yummy!) My husband chose the Triple bbq nachos with pork and baked beans on the side, downright delicious! I got the oink and onion which was very tender shredded pork, fried onion strings, fresh in house bbq chips, and French fries. We shared both our plates with each other and still had a bit to take home! After tip, which we had a very good waitress, it was only $25 and some change! Wish they had a place closer to Greenwood, camby, or Indianapolis!
Our food was served warm, but they had plenty of options, the potatoes go quick so get there early!
Good BBQ with healthy portions. I'd list the staff above average. They we very friendly and took good care of us. I was amazed with the mushroom basket. It was loaded unlike most places were each person gets just a couple of them. Clean and comfortable place great for dinning.
Delicious food and great servers
Too much seasoning on tenderloin
Now they know how to fix that hog
Stopped after work to get dinner for the wife. I spent $75 for apparently the leftovers from their lunch service. The ribs were dry. The brisket and chicken looked and tasted like shoe leather. The macaroni was severely under cooked. The dogs can have it. We are going to Applebees. Will not be back.
I'm really happy they are serving sliced brisket. I've noticed that the brisket doesn't seem like it's freshly sliced though. It was still good, nonetheless.
Waitress was very friendly, always kept us refilled.
Ribeye was salted with seasoned salt and way too much gristle(gross). The baked potato was over baked and felt like mashed potatoes (it was not a twice baked potato). Overall poor quality for the price.
If i could give negative stars i would. Manager or owner is clueless as to why prices are different on menu then your bill. My vegetables were frozen! The server was ALWAYS nowhere to be found. Had to wait forever for check. Tried this place twice, out of the same side dishes both times, wouldnt be that bad if all the other sides werent upcharges.
Loaded potato and cheese fries were fantastic but my steak was extremely burnt. I also got a half rack of ribs that for the life of me I couldn't figure out what animal it was from. Pretty horrific to be honest.
Run of the mill bbq joint nothing really stood out as amazing
Steaks were decent. Nothing overwhelming
The Applebee's of BBQ joints. Nothing terrible but nothing special.
The cajun flat iron steak is wonderful
We've always been pleased with this place. Our party ordered steaks and ribs and were very satisfied with our food and our server was wonderful.
Pretty good ribs, but a little baked or steamed tasting rather than smoked. Pulled brisket? Are you kidding me? Who does that??? Needless to say the brisket was terrible. Specialty sauces were pretty good. Sides were average. We did get the onion straws as an appetizer and they were really good. I would have given 4 stars if not for the disaster that is the brisket.
Really good barbeque. Hand breaded fried mushrooms! Good service!
Love this restuarant, good atmosphere and great food.
All around great restaurant. Great BBQ and steaks. The best sugar cream pie around. Service was excellent.
Great food!
Great food and enviornment
Pretty good food, large selection, reasonable prices. Will go back.
Food was good. Service Fast And Courteous. prices fair
Good food and good service.
Great tenderloin and delicious pulled pork. Guinness on draft!
Quite good. Staff was friendly and the beer was cold. I prefer my brisket a bit more tender but that's preference, taste was also good.
Offer vegetarian options. Veggie wrap was great.
Overpriced for what you get, might be ok for sandwiches, but not at all impressed with the dinners. $17 for a Luke warm 1/2 rack of ribs, $25 for a rib eye, 1/2 full of gristle, and $12 for some pork butt and onion petals. For $54 plus a $10 tip, I would look elsewhere, there are much better values for your money.
Dipper Fries and Sugar Cream Pie... Oh my goodness! They knocked it out of the park with those two items.
The restaurant was very clean. Server and staff was nice and very friendly. Atmosphere was welcoming. The food was delicious, well worth the 70 mile trip. Will definitely be back.
Their food was AMAZING. Definitely some place I am going again. Its a little pricy than I liked but it was all definitely worth it.
Great food and wonderful atmosphere.
This is BY FAR THE BEST! The steaks are amazing..mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese and fried pickles are heaven! Nikki was knowledgable, kind and very on top of it. The entire staff cater to their guest. Oh not to mention everything is homemade. Even the tea! Our new fav.
Great experience. Fantastic barbecue
There were 11 of our Lebanon Tigers, class of 62, tonight, our server Sandy took very good care of our needs, our time spent talking ,laughing, and we had a few serious moments in remembrance for those who had gone before us. All in all we elected to make it our resturant of choice, and continue the tradition
Really enjoyed our lunch and the service was excellent.
Good food with a great atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was prepared in a timely fashion. Would recommend
Good food and service
Over priced, slow staff
Amazing food service and environment
This place is amazing. Hidden gem
Lunch at Parky's. Brisket, dry rub ribs, stuffed mushrooms, glazed chicken wings, fresh fried barbecue potato chips, coleslaw. Every single item was beyond delicious. First experience there and will definitely return. Kind of between lunch and dinner so only one server and she did a marvelous job. Recommend to foodie friends.
So good. A small group went after an event. We all got meals in the late evening and though they were out of a few items due to supply and demand we were happily satisfied with other items. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Our server gave us a run down of how everything worked and answered all the questions some of the newbies had. The selection was amazing, the options were great, and we didn’t feel like we needed to rush even though it was a late hour and we discovered we were the very last customers. (Gasp!) That was wonderful to me, as I’ve been to places where they ask people to leave who are dining still. Great job Parky’s! We WILL be back!
I got a chicken club salad, it was really good except the lettuce was not the ordinary lettuce ur used to seeing...didnt taste real bad but made me feel like I was eating weeds and kinda tasted off. I won't probably order again unless that was changed but the other ingredients were good and fresh. The appetizer ordered was loaded chicken nachos....and more baked beans than anything and the chicken was literally one big chunk like had to cut it and divide it to use it for nachos instead of 1 PC of meat. So minor things otherwise was good
Terrible experience. Came here for lunch and it was good. We were told that the dinner special was but one rack of ribs get a half rack free. Should've been suspicious since the place has "smokehouse" in the name but there is a noticeable lack of any BBQ or smoke smell. When we arrived that night for the ribs we were greeted by the same two employees who were there for lunch. They asked if we were here for the ribs since they were the ones that told us about the special. We said we were and we were seated. After ordering appetizers and getting our drinks out waitress told us they were "out of ribs" but would have more in an hour. We opted to eat appetizers and wait for the ribs. About an hour later the ribs showed up. I was able to get through the first half rack somehow. I ordered the ribs dry with sauce on the side. There was no real flavor on the ribs. The sauce was mediocre at best. The ribs were tough and chewy and the meat would not come off the bones without pulling, tearing, and chewing. I tried to start the full rack because I was so hungry but the first rib I tore off had a huge glob of fat stuck to it. Obviously the ribs were not prepared correctly as the fat should have rendered. I gave up on the ribs and returned the plate with a full rack and all the fries except a few that I had eaten. The waitress and manager were apologetic and removed the ribs off the bill but still charged for the fries I hadn't eaten. Not a smokehouse and not a place to get ribs.
Most dishes r very go and plenty to eat.
Good food and service.
The place is nice and clean, has a nice variety of food on the menu. Staff was very friendly. Ordered a side salad with ranch. Very good salad two thumbs up on that. I also ordered some pulled pork sandwich. It was ok. My problem is with the place called a smokehouse, definitely doesn't taste smoked at all. If you in the neighborhood give it a shot, but personally I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. It was ok.
Sangria and steak were really good.
Food was excellent, Lexi, our server was excellent. Definitely going back. If you haven't been here yet. You should.
Good service, good food. I like the house made sauces. Hawaiian sandwich delicious.
What a great find! Was in town visiting from CA and looking for a good place to have dinner with family and we saw a billboard for Parky’s. Service was friendly and speedy, food was amazing. I tried the black ‘n mac sandwich, which is half sandwich half fork needed because it was so big. It was delicious. If you’re passing through this place is definitely worth a stop.
I was very disappointed I took my wife there for her birthday and they got our orders mixed up I ordered my prime rib a certain way and it was completely wrong they basically lost my meal for a little bit and it seemed like all the wait staff there was kind of upset about something nobody was very happy
Great place to dine! Delicious food and excellent service.
Superb service and excellent food overall. A very tasty meal overall.
Food is always good, never stellar...but I'm not a huge barbecue fan so some of the flavors may be lost on me. The item I often order is the salsa (to go) and they'll have it packaged up for me to take home in a nice little plastic container. Several pork options, as expected. Service is hit and miss. One of my top three restaurants to visit while in Lebanon.
It was okay. Salad was blah and the smoked chicken on the salad was cold. Just lettuce and meat. Service and bread were great!
The menu is a little limited, but the flavor of the food they do specialize in almost makes up for the reduced variety. Nothing we had was bad, and their meats were cooked to perfection. Wide variety of BBQ sauce options. The price is a little higher than the average restaurant in the area, with most meals in the $10 - $20 range before beverage. If you get a salad, definitely try the bbq cheddar salad dressing. They also have a loyalty program for earning food discounts, but the lack of variety would make it difficult to fully utilize the program. Good experience.
The food was excellent. Some of the best BBQ sauces I've ever had in my life. The only thing better than the the food was the hospitality shown to use by the bartender!!! A must try when in town!
Service was horrible. Waitresses were ALL over the place and left us without drinks and other items we asked for upon getting our food. 2 out of 4 meals were way over cooked too! I would NOT recommend to others!
The food was awful, meat was cold, stringy, the "famous" stuffed mushrooms was a joke very over priced.. Dont waste your time
Drove by... smelled good
The food is delicious. Although it is a bit more expensive than most of the other local restaurants, it is good quality and great service every time I have eaten there.
Great food and bar service. One of Lebanon's best restaursnts.
Very good, if you're a meat lover. Variety of sources. Order the combo plate if it's your first time there.
Lunch service was pretty slow. Took quite a while getting the correct drink order. My chili was cold and chicken wrap was not worth the price at all. My friends sandwich bread tasted like it had been toasted with old burned grease. I have had the ribs there a couple of years ago and they were excellent. Just get the feeling that the love is gone from this place. Probably wouldn't make a stop there again.
Very friendly, attentive service. We had the jerk chicken with Mac and Cheese, Breaded Tenderloin sandwich, Oink and Onion with butter browns, and the Brisket sandwich. Everything was great! Pretty sure you can get cheese and bacon on anything.
Terrible service! We went on a Wednesday night. Very few people in the building. The wait staff is more concerned with their own drama than their customers. Waited over 15 minutes for 2 waters and a coke. We would have been able to eat quicker if we would have driven to Indy. Disappointed!!
Ordered Cesar salad with smoked turkey for carryout. Only got 9 small chunks of turkey. It's not hard to coun that few. It seems I paid $8.50 for a bag of lettuce. Total rip off. Beware of carry-out.
One of my favorite places to eat in Lebanon, staff is friendly, food is good, I never leave dissatisfied.
Great bbq and service. BR parking if you're creative!
Needs an update badly.
Wonderful food. Clean and very friendly staff. I will be telling all my friends
Awesome service and wonderful food!
Every bite was bursting with delicious flavor! We used this as our half way point from Columbus, to meet my sister from Chicago, and couldn't be happier that we did! To start, we showed up at 8:30 on a weeknight, 30min from closing, and that didn't deter the superior service that we received. We had our dog (3lb Chihuahua) in her bag, so we asked to be seated outdoors, but it was closed. So, we got a booth instead, and they were curteous and quick. No joke, the best chilli ever! Even the oranges were sweet. The only thing I didn't care for was the mac-n-cheese, but I don't like it to begin with. My son loved it. Pretzels and beer cheese are delctible, pulled chicken, pulled pork, and brisket were Smokey and tender, equally delicious with or without the variety of house sauces. Chipotle BBQ was my favorite, with just the right hint of fire. Definitely hope to be back someday!
We visit Parky's frequently and have for years, for both lunch and dinner!! It is always great and they have such a good variety. The past two years, we have gotten either a smoked Turkey Breast or an entire Smoked Turkey for our family Thanksgiving and everyone RAVES about how good it is. We will never have another Thanksgiving that we host, without one of your smoked turkeys!! We love Parky's, you cannot go wrong, no matter what you order!!!
Great food and awesome service!
Just ok
Server was friendly, hostess was training a new hostess. Food was half decent but lacking for cost. 14oz steak was thin and looked like an 8oz. Feel I got robbed paying $24 for a very thin steak and a coke. If I ever return I'll stick to pork/chicken entrees.
Good BBQ at a reasonable price. Not going to set the world on fire, but for central Indiana, you could do worse. I was leery of the way they shred the brisket like pulled pork, but it was moist, flavorful and a good mix of fat and lean. The sides are excellent. The coleslaw and beans being standouts. Will definitely go back.
Just went to Parky's this last friday.Had brisket dinner very good! I have been hard on Parky's in the past do to their relying on their past achievements. Even bought barbeque sauce there. I usually buy carry out steak's and dry ribs. My wife gets the salmon. It hasn't been very good for the $ 70 we spend. So My family went there after a very tough day. So now it's a toss up. Go and try them out. Then you decide! Shawn
Great service. Ok food
They have really good food especially their salmon and steak!! If your in the mood for something different besides the ordinary fast food, pizza, or subways in Lebanon give them a try!!
Excellent food great staff good place to dine.
If you’re looking for some tasty BBQ and that homestyle feeling this restaurant is a nice mixture of both with fast and friendly service. Price is on average when compared to other establishments but their food is on its own level. I was very pleased with our entrees and how staff treated us. So if you’re in the area and looking for some good BBQ, definitely give this place a try!
They have a real good IPA beer in there. But the steak salad was stinky. Like they use really cheap beef. Ordering any type of beef from people who don't specialize in steak is a bad idea these days.
Great food and menu with more than just bbq.
Staff was friendly and BBQ was good.
I had the 10 oz. Ribeye broccoli and mac and cheese. I could hardly chew the steak! It was mostly hard. It was suppose to be med rare. The broccoli had no flavor.
Came recommend from a couple of our accuantices. We try to eat at local places when we can. We were not disappointed. Had the tenderloin, mine a sandwich, wife the strips.
Very clean, well trained wait staff and excellent food.
Nice place, good food, reasonable prices.
Always great..food ,service , atmosphere,,and the wet ribs are awesome
Good food. Priced to hi.
Had the most amazing salad! Pecans cranberries blue cheese crumbles and chicken! The service was great
The ribs melt in your mouth and the service is wonderful. Comfortable atmosphere inside and on the patio.
Ate there for Mother's day lunch with family. The food was room temperature. The service was terrible and wasn't busy at that time
The only issue was that a "salad" costs extra for tomato wedge... A salad should have at least 3 other vegetables in it. Otherwise it's just lettuce. Don't nickle and dime your diner's who actually like you and come every time we're up that way. Not often, but you're always our first choice when we are.
Best Ribeye I've ever eaten! Prices were great!
This place was amazing! Nice location, great service, amazing food, and great price. Our waiter, Austin was very helpful, and didn't make us feel rushed. I will be highly recommending this place!
Fast service and friendly staff. The different types of sauces were a great touch to the variety of meats they lay on the table. Very family oriented place, I brought my kids (who are young and can be loud) and the environment was so relax and past paced. Fast paced as in the music was very upbeat great variety made you wanna dance but not overpoweringly loud to where you have to yell to have a conversation. The sides were perfect variety too. All in all if your in the mood for a nice sit down bbq go check this place out.
The restaurant was clean and quiet. Service was great... staff very friendly and courteous. Food was well prepared and good. Will definitely return to Parky's and would recommend this restaurant to others.
The meat was bland. The mac and cheese was ok.
Very saddened by the lack of corn bread. Good was very good as was the service.
Its alright.. the meat doesn't have much flavor, it's just the sauces that make it better. The sides were too small for the size of the dish, and the bread is not included. Anyone that knows about barbecue knows it comes with bread. The service was good as far as friendliness but they took a long time to bring us all the food, and we asked for another empty plate to split food and never got it.
Great food, great service
The food was pretty good. The service was...good. If it is not a chain restaurant (we do not have these where I am from), it is set up like one. All very good with a not overwhelming price tag.
The food is amazing and service was quick and very good.
Food was good but our waitress never came back to offer us refills on our drinks
Now with sliced brisket. Best BBQ in Lebanon.
