Worth the drive from New Albany, look on a map and take the Sulpher exit on I-64 if you want a scenic country drive there. Very good food, best cheeseburger in southern Indiana IMHO. All the food is very good. Great service. I really like that there is a separate side and entrance for the bar, so they can cater to families or folks just looking for a cold beer.

My favorite dish from Marcy's is their ribs! This is out in the middle of nowhere but is definitely worth the drive. The staff is so friendly & make you feel right at home. Get the fried cauliflower for an appetizer.

Great food! Friendly people! Maybe should change up menu & definitely install some sound deadening materials. If there are more than a couple of tables, the noise is too much. UPDATE; I have downgraded my rating. They keep raising their prices and giving smaller portions. My wife and I had taco salads and I cannot believe how small they were. Looked like appetizers and $$$. They have added more tables and now you’re packed together like eating in a soup kitchen. Naturally the noise level has worsened. Like sitting in echo chamber. Too bad! I used to really like this place.

So a friend of mine said I should go to Marcy’s and try the ribs. Well after a few months me and my wife happen to be in the area and stopped in. This diamond in the middle of nowhere blew my tastebuds and mind. The waitresses were very friendly I felt that I had four to just me and my wife. The night we got there we had to take a corner table because both sides of the restaurant were packed. Marcy’s is always brought up when the where would you like to eat game starts. It is aways off the beaten path but worth the search. Oh and get the ribs your welcome.

We are in the area working and found this place after seeing it on here. It was the friendliest bunch of people ( Maw was our waitress and she was amazing), fastest service we’ve had in a long time and the food was phenomenal. We travel around the country for my job and this was by far the best ribeye dinner we have had. Thanks to Maw and the staff. Hope your customers enjoy the pie recipe.

Great homestyle cooking. Large quantities great service from MA. Reasonable price and WE WILL COME AGAIN. I drove 70 miles to eat and will again. Ribs were out of this world. Chicken liver dinner to die for and white chicken dinner was excellent. Deserts strawberry rhubarb pie sent by the angles.

We have been going to Marcy's for many years. The menu is very extensive with so many choices. We love their ribs. You can only order ribs on weekends. They also have great fried chicken. Portion sizes are very large. We have never eaten anything that wasn't good. Also, their are some homemade desserts. You can't go wrong traveling to this place. It is definitely located in the country!!

Hands down the best ribs ive ever had, fell right off the bone. Half a rack is equivalent to a whole rack elsewhere and pricing is affordable. Will for sure be back for more!

First I was shocked at the prices there was nothing priced under $5 except for the drinks which was almost $2 and all that was is they brought you a can and a cup of ice. I keep reading they are reasonable price no they are not. Could have gone out to a nice steak restaurant and spent less. We will never go back too this restaurant.

I can't really leave a review. We waited 30 minutes for Marcy's to open today. Checked the website. Attempted to call...it never opened. All of the signs said the hours today we're from noon to 9pm. There were 6 other cars waiting in the parking lot as well. We drove 45 mins to get here. Needless to say, it wasn't worth the drive.

Marcy's Restaurant serves the best food you will ever eat in Southern Indiana. I have eaten the ribs and the crick fries, they are out of this world. The service is great and the owners are always available, for they certainly care about how you are treated and served. Go to Marcy's and you will count the days before you can return for the best meal you will ever eat.

It was hard to find so I'm thankful the locals pointed me in the right direction to it. The sandwiches are unbeatable but my favorite is certainly the chili. They supply plenty of crackers which is another one of the reasons I enjoy my visits there. The waitresses are always super friendly, the pricing is fair and affordable, and even when there are multiple customers in the dining hall, the wait time for the food is very minimal. Highly recommended!

We drove 40 miles to have ribs...not knowing that they were not ready first thing when they open. Our waitress saw my disappointment and after taking our order brought me out 1/4 slab of ribs that they had frozen, at no charge!! When she found out it was my birthday lunch, she also offered a free dessert! I was so full from ribs I could only eat half my steak and dessert was out of the question! Excellent food and service!! Wasn't our first time there and defiantly won't be our last (next time will be after noon though...when the ribs are done)

The rib eye steak and half rack of ribs special was marvelous! The steak was grilled perfectly for my taste, and the meat practically fell off the rib bones. The server was attentive and friendly, and the timing of the food seemed appropriate. The atmosphere was nicer than most tavern dining areas but not formal enough for a five star restaurant. Definitely a place to eat when you are in the area. Looking forward to our return.

Their “Prime Rib” is just a thin rib-eye, which they could not grill to order (way over cooked). I sent it back (for both reasons) and ordered the fried “cod”. Well, it was fish, but not certain what kind. It came in elongated cubes, not filets, and was again so over cooked as to not be edible. My wife’s salmon was also processed and was covered by a teriyaki sauce not mentioned anywhere on the menu. They never once offered a refill of my lemonade nor of my wife’s water. Our friend’s rack of ribs met her approval. This was the only reason I gave them 2 stars. I was charged full price for the cod.

Food was amazing! If your tired of chain restaurants and want good to honest cooking this is a great option..my husband got ribs and I had fried chicken they were both excellent . Desserts option was large we went with the cake with caramel icing WOW it was awesome!!! portions were large too..prices were about the same as a chain restaurant but the food much better with larger portions . A hidden gem I'm glad we found!
