Lots of vegetarian options. Meal itself was okay (I had the Mediterranean wrap and black bean vegetable soup) but the pies are why you should go there! The food itself was prepared quickly but the ordering process seemed to take forever. Probably because the staff taking orders were also packaging up any to-go pie slices. I had the banana cream pie and it was delicious.

Nice place, free WiFi, good pie. We also really like the quiche as well as their lunch options. The staff are also VERY welcoming and friendly, and I've found everyone to be very family friendly (a big plus for those with kids). They also have a little meeting room you can reserve for groups or parties,which is very convenient.

Love the food and pie. Never been disappointed in this place but it sucks having that 'pie co' smell linger on you after you leave. Like how they have a lemon jar out on the drink stand. Food comes out fairly quick and even if they mess up an order, they fix it. Bring your student ID for a discounted pie slice

The cherry peach crumb is a poor example of a pie and a real waste of 4 dollars. 1 cherry and a bunch of sugary cream filling. Zero flavor. This was my first visit since the grand opening several years ago and likely my last. What a dud!!!

Had a long day of moving my daughter into her dorm and was greatly rewarded with a Carmel apple dumpling from Grand Traverse pie co. My dessert was fresh,flaky and delicious and the restaurant was busy and clean, I had a wonderful experience. Definitely will be going back on every visit.

My husband and I came here less than an hour before close on an impromptu date night. It was worth the 30 minute trip!! Service was prompt and considerate, volunteering to split the salad we would be sharing into individual portions(we got the spinach and goat cheese salad.. it's amazing!!!!). Also had lobster bisque soup , hubby loved it! Large selection of pies (we decided on chocolate and peanut butter as well as pecan, both delicious!) It's no wonder the locals rave about this place, it's definitely worth checking out (and enjoying!!!)

Grand Traverse is a wonderful atmosphere with a calming atmosphere. It is just far enough away to get off campus for a while and enjoy good cooking. The meeting rooms have been great for planning events with others.

Grand pie has the delicious pies that i have ever had before. They also offer free perks for pie club members during their birthdays. I first got a chance to taste this pie during pie day competition in isu. Actually i won a pie and it was so tasty. After that i am regular to this place. I would recommend to try grand pie once and you will definetly like it.

2.5 miles off the interstate and worth it all. Tried it on a whim while staying a few nights in town. You want a place where no one complains about the food this is where you want to go. Excellent staff, once again GREAT FOOD DELICIOUS PIES, comfortable atmosphere. Price is around $12 a person for a meal & pie. So many choices not sure which one I will get to take home.

I had to work a pretty busy weekend in Terre Haute, I didn't have time to take a long lunch. So met my wife for lunch here at Grand Traverse Pie Co. . My wife ordered us two sandwich combos, they came with an option of potato chips, quiche or mac 'n cheese. She ended up getting the quiche as our side. I got the French dip / beef sandwich and the broccolo - cheese quiche. I thought au ju for the sandwich had a good flavor . I thought the quiche had a light savory flavor to it, I'm not a quiche person but I liked this particular one. The food selection here is standard : sandwiches, soups and of course pies. If I make it back here I am for sure going to try their pie, Terre Haute locals swear by the pies here.

Stopped in while traveling in the area and picked up three small pies, a coconut cream, a lemon meringue, and a blueberry crumble. They also tasted great. My only complaint would be how hard it was to get the blueberry one out of the pan. The fruit filling had oozed between the crust and the pan, making it stick. Even after scooping out most of the pie, parts of it would not come off the pan. We still warmed up the part we could remove and topped with vanilla ice cream and it tasted delicious although I wouldn't buy it to serve to company.

I’ve throughly enjoyed every meal I’ve had here, though I think the chicken pot pie is my favorite. And oh those dessert pies! Such a spectacular selection of everything from refreshing fruits to decadent puddings and custards. From the warm, homey atmosphere to the down-home meals, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into grandma’s kitchen.

Amazing pies and delicious food. Great place for lunch. Got 1/2 sandwich and a bowl of soup which is plenty food for one person. I got a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie for later and it was absolutely delicious. This place has a great selection of sandwiches, soups and pies. Great lunch spot with big parking lot and lots of dinning space. So I went back and had lunch here again and this time the chicken sandwich I had was disappointing to say the least. Very plain, with cold bacon and so much bread that it made the sandwich taste dry and hard to enjoy. I ended up picked the meat out of the sandwich and left the bread on the plate. Had to grab a piece of strawberry Rhubarb crumb pie which was delicious as always. Seems this place figured out how to make great pies but still have to iron out the rest of the menu.

The pie here is great. They have a wonderful selection to choose from. The price isn't all that bad and they let you choose from a slice or a whole pie. They do have other things besides pie but I only eat pie and drink some of their coffee. They even make smaller pies for just two people. I would definitely say to stop here if you are ever driving through Terra Haute, even if it's just a slice to eat latter.

While I'm not in love, I respect how hard it is to keep a place like this going. Every thing they have is good, but I've never been wowed. I went to get chili and a cinnamon roll, as I've recently learned that this is a common combo in the midwest. Both were just barely above average. The roll was dry on the edges. The soup didn't have much meat and the crackers were stale. I want to come back just to ensure that I'm not way off on the generous rating. Will update accordingly.

Simply the best! Fire PIES! I love Peanut Butter pie and they always have some on stock! I love that! The Quiche is also immaculate! Great place to grab a bite to eat. Study or have a meeting. They have space to be reserved or if your lucky you can use as a walk in! My got to spot for business meeting in the Terre Huate area. Great selection of coffee as well. The service is always A1!

This place is SO GOOD! A Terre Haute must! I stopped in on my way home from a road trip with s couple friends and was amazed. I wish I’d taken a picture of my food before I devoured it! The quiches - this was the best quiche I’ve ever had. I had the ham and Swiss and my friend had the veggie. The fluffiness of the quiche was perfect, the texture, the taste- everything! The crust was crispy. Superb! Cinnamon roll- “best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had” said my friend. Cinnamon all throughout, very moist, cream cheese frosting was amazing. All around great! Chicken Sante Fe Salad - the dressing is spicy but mild- super good! The chicken was plentiful, which isn’t always common on salads. The mixture was so so good. Cherry crumb pie - amazing, fresh, so good! Love this place! Wish there was one in Columbus.

I've been here twice and the food was good both times. The place is cute and clean. The service is totally lacking. The cashier's are not engaging or helpful at all, not are the folks that place your food to be picked up. This seems to be a common issue in Terre Haute. I'll be back because at least the food is good!

Very good food. We have been impressed with some of the salads and samdwiches. Honestly, the pies are not the best I have had, and even mine are better, especially my crusts. However, there are several varieties and they are at least 'good'. The other desserts could also be improved upon. The restrooms have been clean during our visits, most of the employees have been friendly. I recommend this restaurant to friends who travel to Terre Haute.

If you love pie, take a trip to the Grand Traverse Pie Company. My favourite is the Strawberry Rhubarb! It's to die for. Students get a piece of pie for 50¢ with the purchase of a sandwich. The sandwiches are just as yummy as the pies. It's also a great place to hold events.

Great food! I really enjoyed my meal at the Grand Traverse Pie Company. I liked that you could order the food and pay, then they call your name when your food is ready. It makes things a little quicker, I think. I had the BLT on sourdough bread, potato salad and a slice of banana cream pie. The sandwich was very good and the pie was to die for! I will definitely eat there again if I get the opportunity!

Everything is delicious. They have a fantastic tomato bisque. Love that you can can buy a whole pie to take home. The Michigan cherry coffee is their best. Never had to wait more than 4 minutes for an order. Students get a free slice of pie with ID and a meal purchase!
