Allies cafe is amazing Stacy and Rick are amazing we used one of the rental halls for our recent wedding in September 2018 and they did everything to make our needs and wants met and the food was amazingThe place was packed, but that did not slow down the service. One of the first things I noticed were the incredibly nice servers. We ordered the Polish dinner and could not believe what great food we got for the money paid.

The service was excellent. Very welcoming and friendly, our waitress Crystal kept the drinks filled without asking, and brought everything we asked for right away. The servings are generous and a half. If you're starving you'll leave stuffed and if not you can have a second meal at home easily. The prices are great too. Right around $10 for a big burger and full platter of fries with a drink.

Prices are getting high. Ordered Half of a skillet meal and price was more like full price. Meal was good but one reason I wanted 1/2 was the price, but ended up darn near full price. Since the remodeling it's not the same homey feel. Wife's likes meals better than me so we will be back.

Was not impressed, AT ALL!!! I ordered scrambled eggs. I got one formed egg patty that looked like McDonald’s eggs, my steak had absolutely no seasoning, the gravy was some powder mix and the biscuits tasted like I ate a spoonful of Bisquick.

Long overdue shoutout for AMAZING service! Last year, my husband and I asked Allies to cater our wedding. We did a Polish style meal and we were NOT disappointed!!! Our food was delievered in a timely manner and we were able to set up before our wedding began. All correspondence was friendly, and the process was easy. And the food was delicious!! Everyone was talking about how good it was and there was more than enough for everyone. Thank you, Allies Team, for all your efforts and for adding such a memorable touch to our big day!

This is the second time I have eaten breakfast at Allies. The food is great! The setting reminds me of a 1960's restaurant. The one negative is that it was very cold - their furnace could not keep up with the frigid outside temperature.

Hands down best breakfast in the South Bend or Mishawaka. Haven't been to town in over two years and I still love the corned beef hash omelette. My only complaint was I wanted to have it one more time before I traveled back to Texas. But, they aren't open on Sunday or Monday... It was a huge disappointment.

A really welcoming & cozy diner with delicious food, really good prices, and very friendly staff. If you like a real home cooked, big portions breakfast this is the place. They're well known for the huge stuffed omelette but my favorite was the all you can eat breakfast. It includes delicious biscuits and gravy, eggs,bacon or sausage,hash browns,etc.. I never leave hungry.

Our first visit since the remodel. The food was good, but servery and the ladies that checked us in were not up to par at all. When we were ignored by the first person when we walked through the door, the second lady walked up and apparently heard us, but did not respond at all. She must have thought we could read her mind and then got kinda lippy with us when we followed her to the wrong table. Our server was very slow on drinks and almost took offense to my request of "no potatoes" with my order . The whole experience was not any where close to how I remember this place being. Kinda sad.

Great experience - exactly what the standard American breakfast is supposed to be. The coffee is hot and endless, the food extremely filling, and prices that cannot be beat. On a late Sunday morning it was buzzing but with no wait, and there's a real sense of community here. I had the German Special and my wife had the Allie's Special, both in half portions (which are sensible and enough for one person). The only thing I'd have liked to improve mine was more "special sauce" tying the whole thing together. The only reason I've rated 4 instead of 5 is that it seemed to take a bit for the wait staff to warm up to the table, which struck me as strange as our small kids only got more rambunctious the longer we were there. Maybe we arrived at a particularly stressful moment or after a tiff between servers, but customers should not bear the brunt of those expected challenges. By the end of the meal, however, the staff were extremely friendly and taking excellent care of us - just a bit of a rocky start. I'd definitely recommend.

Our waitresses name was crystal. She was extremely friendly and very helpful with decisions on what to eat for the day. She told us about the local community and things that were that were going on and activities for our kid. But wasn't quite busy in there when we came in she was still on top of her game. Downhome food with some up-to-date offerings. I adore Janet, the former cheerleader turned funny as hell waitress with, yes, a heart of gold. Sundays are a madhouse but the restaurant is large. Hint: go early morning any day of the week. Reasonable prices and ginormous menu and portions to match.
