Super friendly service. I really wanted to love the food, and it was tasty, a bit too sweet for my liking and not my favorite bbq around, but I'd go back if everything wasn't served up in Styrofoam, so that alone may keep me from returning. That stuff never biodegrades and I feel guilty for every ounce I help make it to a landfill. They don't take cards, but have an atm in house.

It's subpar than ever. Quality has suffered trying to feed the masses and sourcing through corporations. You can tell they use dried goods for their sauces and such. Cheap methods for food packaging = terrible brand management. Cash only. Portions aren't filling. Don't provide take out sauces for when you buy BBQ. It really feels cheap when you're there and when you open the food up, you won't feel like you got what you paid for.

Eat here for lunch occasionally. Recently had tailgate at SIU football game for birthday, they delivered to the stadium parking lot!! Ordered ahead and they delivered chaffing dish, utensils, etc. Food is better than 17th Street!!

Awesome people and amazing food. What can be better than those two things combined? Excellent pork, chicken, and ribs. The smoked mac n cheese and green beans are also wonderful. Very casual, the food was great, and the owner continually checked on us and played with our son (and as an aside, we felt it was very child-friendly with their menu). We traveled from Springfield, Illinois (3hrs away) and do it often for BBQ in various places across the country. It was worth the drive. I had the brisket, mac n cheese, and pit beans. They have house-made sauces on the table (a mild vinegar base that is a very nice departure from the same ole over the top sweet). I definitely recommend.
