This Catering belongs to the category of Mexican restaurant.
The girl with the turtle tat was rude. We waited for her to take our order. If you don't like your job you should leave. The rest of the staff was nice and smiled. Food is like chipotle.
Staff were so efficient and worked well together to make our tacos nice and quick, which was great because we were really hungry! Great atmosphere, will definitely go here again
This place is AMAZING!!! I love it here! there food was awesome!! Fast service!
Very much like Chipotle, but much cooler beach atmosphere
Not sure if potato can be added to Mexican rice bowl. Otherwise, everything else is good.
Food was ok we had 5 of us 2 meals came first 15 minutes for 3rd 4th and 5th. Had to send one back incomplete.
Good value very big burritos. Lots of choices of fillings and salads too. Staff friendly, helpful and attentive. Great view of the Waikiki beach from the windows at the front. If this is useful please like!
Beautiful view of Waikiki Beach, freindly service and yummy food. Perfect spot.
Fun latin music playing that makes you want to dance. Great breakfast options, I had the Chiliquelas breakfast. The eggs are wonderful and the flavor profile of the food was well put together. Authentic Mexican food. Hospitality was great and service was quick and smooth. Jake did a great job serving us.
Nothing like biting into a glob of gelatinous funk in a burrito. Nasty. Never again.
Too much of a fast food vibe wouldn't eat there again
Went here tonight after being disappointed and gouged at La Cucaracha Mexican Bar and Grill earlier this trip. OMG is upstairs with a great view of the main drag for people watching. We had Margaritas first and they were quite good. Ordering your meal is similar to Subway, adding what you want. I had the pulled pork Burrito, and it was very good. The meat was very tasty not salty at all and the beans, rice and veggies were fresh. My wife had a Taco salad, and was very impressed with the quality and taste. The cost is quite reasonable and the staff were great. Go here and enjoy a authentic Mexican meal for a good price and great view. We are going again in a few days.
Nice little place up the stairs. Good price had fish tacos
Very tasty dishes reasonably priced right across from Waikiki beach
Tasty and reasonably priced breakfast. My husband and I ordered the carnitas breakfast bowl and the breakfast burrito and we weren’t disappointed. The food was well seasoned and what you’d expect in terms of Tex Mex flavors. Service was excellent and we were able to sit at a table with an ocean view. Only thing that would have improved the experience was maybe an open window or two for an open air vibe. Great place!
Upstairs, order at the counter choosing your protein, rice and beans, then sauces. Family had burritos and salad. All very tasty. Basic but good. Not bad but could be so much more based on location. If you want no frills eating, this is it. Was about $65 for meal and drinks (2 Diet Coke, 1 beer, 1 margarita).
The food was good and the young man and young ladies working there were very nice. We will probably be back!
Really good and quickly delivered food, for sure I will go back up there. 4 stars only, cause $3,50 for a spoon of guacamole is a bit too much.
Not good food. They put really less dressings and taste is substandard.
Wonderful food local discount with Hawaii ID on Thursdays
Giant burros and decent happy hour.. what's not to love
I ate here twice during a 10 day visit. They build burritos Qdoba style. Price was good. If you like pork, pick that as your protein. Their pork has a slightly Hawaiian flavor to it and it is quite good. I'm actually craving it now and am bummed that I can't get it here.
Live DJ and a burrito? What else could you ask for. We were lucky enough to stumble upon their new location and got a live DJ! Excellent food and staff, kids went to town both on their food and on the dance floor.
Delicious!!! Such great food at a good price
Gotta say food was good and service was good. If you are near there stop in and get some good prices food that won't break your wallet
It was okay. It pains me to write these words, but Chipotle is better. Rice and beans were dry and lacked flavor. Steak was also a little dry. Salsas were tasty. First order of chips they gave us tasted like they were sitting out all night, although the second order was very fresh -- weird. Friendly staff. Nice location overlooking the beach
Food was good, but after 20 minutes had to ask why one person never got their food. Everyone was done eating by the time it was ready.
Delicious and high-quality food. Service is friendly and prompt. Pricing is reasonable considering the location and view of the ocean.
Good food, reasonably priced, attentive staff.
Decent price. Food is good
Food is delicious. Customer service even better.
Very delicious burrito assembled like a very famous burrito chain. Very expensive though for a burrito and bottled soft drink but also right next to the shore. Lost one star just because of the price.
The service was good, the food was not anything special unfortunately. A good choice for a quick eat that is still relatively healthy.
Waiter n worker are very friendly to us n omg delicious Mexican meal remind of my old lived in Arizona.. I love salsa homemade wow thank to all workers
Nice to have a decent Mexican food grill option within walking distance here in Waikiki. On a day when we'd rather not venture out, they have a bike local delivery service option that makes enjoying their scrumptious offerings a low effort luxury. Good range of choices that also include not overly spicy options for those who've digestive systems demand a bit more restraint than the rest of us enjoy making ordering for all in the household doable.
rly good food and service, place is good however, it's rly hard to find
This place was just the fix I was looking for to satisfy my Mexican food craving! Styled loosely in a Chipotle restaurant fashion, that's about the end of its similarities as its fare is far above. The food prep man we had went out of his way to explain all of the offerings to make sure we crafted food that was exactly what we wanted. There were choices for vegetarians and vegans, allowing for a multitude of options for a variety of palates. Pair all of that with a Jarritos, one of many beers on tap, or house Margarita, and sit back and enjoy the overall vibe of the place. Be prepared to have a stomach full of awesomeness!
Fast, filling with friendly staff...very Chipotle-esque.
Sitting here now just finished my 2 plate of tacos. The taste was brilliant I would come again. Very fast service and very easy to order and very accommodating. Will be back.
This place is constantly “out” of Guacamole! The staff are lazy and the service is poor. For a Mexican restaurant to be out of guacamole is like an Italian restaurant to be out of cheese! Unacceptable!
Loved their Hawaiian sweet bread French Toast with banana slices.
Food was pretty good but not amazing. Decent prices if you’re looking for a “cheap” lunch by Waikiki standards. We ordered at the counter and then sat down - found the servers to be rude.
Very nice place to eat with delicious, well priced mexican grill with fast and friendly service. You get your meal very fast as you order at the counter where you choose from fresh ingredients to build your own burrito, tacos, taco bowl, salad or quesadilla. All rice and bean options are vegan, as well as the grilled vegetable one. There could've been more options and bigger portion sizes, especially for the chips, but for the cheap price it's a really nice place to get some mexican food!
The food was not so good. They didn't even have coffee available since the coffee machine was broken due to electrical failures and I believe the circuit breaker had to be restarted. There's a few things I need when I travel coffee is one of them.
Yummy snack and lunch or dinner food. Great pineapple frozen margarita.
Food was good but honestly it wasn't anything special. The lady that was making our plates charges us extra for everything we wanted to put into the bowl. We like our food extra juicy with lot of flavors, so usually we get lots of salsa/ hot sauce and never had an issue. Here you only get 2 small scoops of salsa, really? Any Mexican restaurant offers as much salsa as you request with your plate. Just go to chipotle and get the same thing for half the price
We loved this place. Nice place in Waikiki and nice change from the norm of the places. Its upstairs and has an awesome view. Will be back for sure !!!!
Lackluster would be the best word to describe. Food was okay the beans were watery the rice was a little bit dry the Kalua pork was salty the chips were stale The View was okay but the windows were dirty. No Fountain drinks only cans and bottles available at steep prices. Water was provided at no cost which was a plus Ambiance was good environment okay but the overall experience was mediocre.
Good food, fast service, reasonable prices. If you're coming from mainland it's basically a version of Chiptole with alcohol and some different options. :D Location is nice with great beach views during the day!
Real and delicious fast casual mexican food right on the beach! Picture chipoltle but fresher and a wider variety of toppings and salsas. Fresh fresh fresh. I had the braised beef burrito my wife had the fiah tacos. I almost forgot to mention the views.
Carney asada fries or you're wrong.
Breaded fish tacos were delicious!
Basically just fluff. Not much meat. Keep walking as there are better places down the road.
This restaurant is the worst food I have ever eaten nothing Mexican about it. I'm visiting from California born in mexico I know mexican food. This is not even close and the service is even worse I recommend NOT to eat here
Similar to a Chipotle. Order how you want it. A bit on the expensive side. Tacos where small. Not even given a proper plate. Just a small cardboard container. There are better Mexican food places around.
Better than expected and a good value for Waikiki.
Such very nice people. But honestly... the food was a waste of money. If you're used to real, deal, authentic Mex food, you will be disappointed. Sorry.
Not really authentic Mexican food. Food was alright but not impressed.
I’m not one that’s normally inclined to leave reviews, but this is definitely my favorite place in the area to go grab a burrito. Great and food and super friendly staff! Always a good experience going here.
Weird location, but it works. Great views. Food was better than I expected. Fries and queso was the bomb. The only thing missing is a fountain drink machine. Other than that, great place to have dinner.
Reasonable prices and an excellent view. It was not too crowded and they give you a good amount of food for the price. It's also sort of hard to find the place. There's a thin staircase beside Burger King that takes you up. My only complaint is that the food tasted quite bland. The spice was there, but not the flavor.
Watered down Americanized Mexican food. Very little flavor. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the staff was nice and the establishment was very clean; Professionalism and cleanliness goes a long way. Go to el Ranchero in wahiawa if you want some deep flavored authentic tasting Mexican food.
Food is great staff is awsome
Food is good. A good place to eat mexican food
Food was just okay- a lot of it was bland or not amazing for the price (which is really expensive). Service was less than stellar and we felt a lot of judgement from employees over what we did/didn’t want in our burritos and felt pressured to add more.
Good, but not necessarily impressive. I did enjoy the fish tacos those were delicious. A bit pricey.
I wished I had taken a picture of my breakfast before tearing it apart. Delicious açaí bowl and a side of eggs whites and bacon. Just what I wanted! Nice please, you walk it and immediately awaken as you dance your way up to the restaurant. The contagious Latin music at that time of the day was a sweet reminder that I AM ON VACATION!!! If to the good music and the good food, you add the very attentive and friendly staff you are in for a good experience. We are definitively coming back to try their lunch and their dinner.
almost chipotle but not quite. foods good and fresh and they stay open later.
Great breakfast food. We went here twice while in town. Both times because we aren’t really big on traditional breakfast and wanted something different. Their burritos are great. The queso is fantastic. They don’t have a wide selection for drinks but the price is decent for most of the places in town. I’d recommend it but it’s not the “greatest thing you’ll eat” while you are here.
Very good food. Fast service. But the menu is tiny and has like things on the menu. I like it. If you go in the morning it is not that packed
Awesome staff and awesome food and drink!
Compared to Chipotle as far as quality ingredients its just superior. I definitely enjoyed eating here one week straight. I felt completely satisfied with every order I've had. The only thing I'd improve is the temperature of the food when I go to eat it's already lukewarm getting cold faster.
Happy hour not so happy?
Best burritos ever!! We ate there almost every day while on vacation. The sour cream is the best. It tastes much different than what we normally buy in stores.if anyone knows the name of it and where I can buy it that would be great
Texas size burritos! Guacamole is extra lol good food. Would go back!
It's like chipotle but way better. Very flavorful food with vegan options.
Very good selection of items .. tasty and at bargain prices.
Tasty fish tacos and wonderful views. Must tip before meal so hard to gauge tip amount.
Not super authentic mexican, but I'm from southern California so I have high standards. The food was decent and the salsa was good. The $2 draft pacificos on "Warrior Wednesdays" was awesome though, and you can look at the beach while you sip your cervezas.
As beautiful as Waikiki is, about everything is overpriced. It's a bit challenging to find quality food without breaking the bank on a daily basis. OMG it's one of those places that checks the boxes of quality and affordability. It's a Chipotle type format with fresher ingredients and more options. You can grab a burrito or bowl for right around $10. They advertise breakfast for $7.99 as well. You can cut your daily food budget by 50% easily by regularly patronizing this establishment.
A bland version of chipotle and the service was rough.
Burritos were very large. Food was decent for the price. All of the staff were very friendly.
Very fast service and great tacos. Server was very friendly and helpful with questions/suggestions. Will be back in 5 years 6 weeks.
Excellent service, awesome food. The only place worth eating at twice over our whole trip.
very good food, yum yum in my tum tum
Good food similar to chipotle
We went there for breakfast. The food was ok, the staff were good. But the view was amazing! You look over Waikiki beach!
Great casual place to go. Fast. Nice people.
Casual burritos, tacos and adult slushies. Easy and fun
The service was fast, food was great and the view was fantastic. Highly recommended.
It's okay ,the price makesbit not so worth it
Best breakfast on the strip. The grill was broken the first time I went but they were so nice I had to go back. Friendly staff and the French Toast was the best ever... I mean ever!
Pretty cool little place, slightly hidden but once you find it, it is worth it. Huge portions. Good quality customisable Mexican. Prepare for leftover food, it really is huge!
Everything about this place is top notch! Food is SOOO good, price was exceptional, and the staff is friendly and very accommodating (we arrived 15 min before lunch started, but they rang us up and gave us our beers and chips while we waited. Much needed beer after a hike of Diamond Head). Highly recommend!!!
Not sure I would ever try again. The rice taste like it was made the day before. The price way too expensive for what we received.
Good selection of food, great Margaritas, nice views of beach & ocean. Very Casual...Buffet style service! If you want sitdown service, with ambiance, this isn't the place for you!! Great place for kids!!!
Decent spot for sort of Mexican food located in Waikiki. If you're looking for real Mexican Food... I would go outside of Waikiki.
The food was amazing. We had the tacos and they were just awesome.
This place is amazing tastes like and upgraded version of chipotle. Perfect for anyone who wants to choose what they want in their burrito, bowl, tacos, or nachos. Right across the street from wakiki beach with great views of the ocean
Reasonably priced food, and absolutely delicious! Keep it up. Happy hour prices could be sharper on the Margarita!
Very good food with huge portions. They forgot about our order. The ended up refunding us and remaking it fresh!
Food was great! Service here made the experience even better. My server was very polite and informative. I was dining alone, but she didn't make it awkward. Enjoyed my food and drink in solitude, with just enough conversation to balance it out. Definitely stop by if in the area, so worth it!
Great music, and great customer service ,but the food and drinks are NOT good at all...
Very good food at a decent price
Really yummy! Has white queso and the servings were generous! Prices reasonable, too!
Food was wonderful and prices are good. Could be a bit cleaner but I find that in many shops like this. They get hit with a ton of traffic and it's hard to keep up with everything. The pork is amazing, similar to have ribs. Guacamole was good and fresh too. Hit this place up. Free WiFi too.
This place is fabulous!! Food is amazing and everyone is so friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting Doug who is the GM. He made sure to welcome everyone and talk a little bit with all customers. The food is absolutely delicious, well priced and the place is super clean! Wait till you see the beach view!! You’ll be glad you stopped in!
Amazing tacos! Similar setup to Chipotle/Qdoba, but a million times better.
Pretty good taco and burrito restaurant right on the Waikiki strip. A little pricey like everything else in the area, but really tasty items. Burritos are filled with generous meat and veggie portions and the chips and salsa are really tasty. Not great options for beverages and half of the drafts were out. Unfortunately cans only for sodas thus no refills.
Good price, tastes authentic. Its pretty much like a mucho burrito restaraunt. Although Not many food options (fastfood).Would be nice if they had a salsa section but they dont. You get charged $2 per salsa (very small amount). Guacamole is an extra 3ish dollars for barely anything!
This is a very casual restaurant, where you stand in line in front of a counter and choose your food item by item. There was a long line, but it moved quickly and the food was tasty. The margaritas were disappointing--three varieties and already in those big blending tubs. The restaurant by U of H is smaller and doesn't not offer alcohol but customers are allowed to BYOB, so that would help cut the already reasonable costs significantly! If you're getting your food to-go, consider asking them to deconstruct the meal into various containers so that it's not soggy before you get home. This location is up a long flight of stairs, and I didn't see an elevator (and as a person with a physical disability, I was looking!!).
Great food and fair prices. I've been in Waikiki for 4 days and I've been there twice. I came again on a Tuesday for the $3 street tacos and tequila shots and it didn't let me down! They do charge have a lot of items that require an upcharge like the sour cream or steak for the street tacos but all in all a great experience!
Great food next to the beach. The staff was very friendly, and burrito bawl tasted amazing.
Well I had a ok friend with me that treat, view was alright food is not authentic but I was hungry and I got filled up, liked the French fries only bcoz remind me of a lil shack I use to eat at but cheese wasn't as thick, it was ok just not a must have
I’ve loved this place since they were on King street. Delicious food. Love the new location with a great Waikiki ocean view. My kids devoured the burritos so you know they are good!
Great food, staff cares about making it right
My husband and I adore this this place. We've been living in a Waikiki hotel long-term due to apartment damage so we've been desperate for affordable healthy things to eat. OMG definitely meets that goal, and our food has always tasted great of course, too. The best part, however, is the service. We are regulars now and the employees are SO nice to us. I told the sweet woman who served us that my meal there even cured a migraine. She said the magic ingredient she added was love. Well, back at you, we love you, too!! PS I said we were looking for healthy but we're still planning on trying those famous brownies soon :-)
Horrible service !!!!! they lost track of who is ordering of what food and punching in charges of items not ordered
They have delicious slushie margaritas here - I had the mango one and it was so good! They are even better when they are on special too during their daily happy hour form 3-6 pm! The food here is good although I wish guacamole was included with the vegetarian options at least but it is an extra $2.50 for everyone which seems really high to me. Overall a good place to go with groups where everyone can build their own burritos, tacos, or bowls as they go down the line and choose which of the many options desired. Although this spot can be a slightly tricky to find, just follow the Latin music playing out front upstairs for a nice view over Waikiki Beach while you sip your margarita and enjoy your food!
Best place in waikiki for mexican
Ordered a dish. Went back to the hotel and wasn't given any cutlery after a lengthy wait.
Missed this place since the King St. location was blown up for new student housing! Waikiki location has a great view, same great food, and a kama'aina discount on Thursdays.
The margaritas are strong and good. Everything else I'd give this place a pass. The staff was rude, the food was mediocre. The music was so loud I could hardly talk to the staff to order my food.
Very friendly staff and the food was really good
The food was very good but they messed up our order.
Nice Tex Mex place to grab a quick bite. It's a fast food joint but they're are lots of tables to sit down and eat.
Omg Local Boy Omelet is a home run. Great coffee, very clean. Would eat again!
Amazing burrito bowls. The pork was really good. Similar to Chipotle but even better. Price is good for a place overlooking the beach. Would highly recommend.
It’s a simple must have. Go there, you won’t be disappointed. Very clean (healthy) bowls and cheap margaritas in happy hour.
Below average Mexican food. We had the nachos to go and the chips were stale, I'm talking week old type rubbery stale. I would NOT go there again.
Nice place, food was good. A bit expensive but you are in Waikiki. They just have frozen margaritas, nothing on the rocks. They also have beer.
Delicious tacos, nachos, and burritos right on the beach! Frozen margaritas are a must. Beautiful views and a fun atmosphere! And great prices to boot! Will visit again.
These guys can’t wrap burritos to save their lives. Will ‘wrap’ your burrito with hot sauce and quest oozing all over the outside thinking it’s acceptable.
Very casual, AWESOME food with gigantic portions at great prices. We ordered two taco bowls, one Kakua Carnitas and one bean and cheese. We will be back here again and again!
It's basically a chipotle... Now I like chipotle so for me this place was great. Fresh ingredients and orders are made to your liking. Location is a bit hard to find unless you know to look for it, it's upstairs and really they only have a small sign pointing to a staircase. Restaurant has a nice layout with tables over looking the street and beach area. Pricing is good and I will definitely be back whenever I'm visiting.
An extra $2 for vegatables (with no meat) and $3.50 for Gauc. Should be called WTF Mexican Grill instead. Recommend going to Chronic Tacos instead for a veggie friendly experience.
What an amazing place. Best breakfast on the strip.
Local version of a Chipotle but the food is much better.
Came in for quick dinner and service is fast and friendly. Their kaula carnitas is amazingly moist amd flavorful.
Park at Honolulu Zoo. Fairly priced unless you're getting the works. Never been to Chipotle, so I'll compare it to Subway as far as serving style goes. Tastes great and serves a large portion. Edit: a soda fountain wouldn't hurt.
Good, fresh food and great prices!
It's like gourmet Chipotle. All fresh ingredients. Just wish their queso didn't have flour in it!
Tasty food and reasonable price.
Slow service and very average food. Good view of the beach
Okay Veggie tacos and burritos. This place is centrally located and the staff is fantastic. When you walk in you are greeted with amazing aromas. The atmosphere is lively and upbeat. We got the veggie options and they were so-so... they were lacking in the flavor department.
I tried this place yesterday with my husband, I’m not a big fan of Mexican food but he is. Today we are back and because of me :) I loved it! We tried different plates, and all of them 5 stars!
Excellent good price for the area.
The food was awesome. The service was great. The staff was very nice and fun. My daughter had the chicken tacos and loved them. My wife had the grill chicken bowl with Spanish rice and I had the pork bowl with cilantro lime rice. There was more food than 4 of us could eat and the price was very reasonable. We will be back here to eat.
It was ok. Decent food at the beach.
Was looking for a chipotle and found out there is none in all of Hawaii. Found this and is easily 1000x better than chipotle. Much more selection and dairy/allergen free. And with a view you cannot beat! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Service was terrible. If anything order at the counter do not sit down. I used to work in the service/costumer industry for many many years and I try to be as forgiving as I can. But we went in with a party of 3 and told to sit down. No one came to the table for ten minutes so we had to grab a servers attention. They took our order but ignored us for 20 minutes. No waters that we ordered no chips and salsa that we ordered. Another 20 minutes went by and a couple that had been seated several minutes after us received their food. When we brought this up to the staff, we were informed that our order had not even reached the kitchen. We left hungry. One of the worst service experience in my life so far.
OMG it was amazing! The burrito was the best!
It’s a Hawaiian Chipotle. Braised beef and their pork is cooked really well and melts in your mouth. Their habanero salsa isn’t the spiciest but still has a small kick. If you need a quick bite with big portion come here.
Dry meat on nachos. Staff did not listen to what we wanted on nachos and never did get it right. Would NOT recommend this establishment.
Right by Waikiki beach, casual pleasant ambiance, food is yummy!
Good value and the staff were very friendly.
Awesome place! Blink and you'll miss it, but just follow the music to the 2nd floor. Reasonable prices for Waikiki for awesome food and music! Burritos are humungous! Definitely would come back again!
The burritos are massive and very tasty. We stopped in this place a few times on our visit and each time the food was always great. The portion sizes are perfect and the $3 tequila shots for happy hour were amazing.
