Favorite restaurant on island. I have never once ordered somthing and been disapponted. The price is a little higher than some, BUT, the food is top notch! Best ingredients, best chefs! I cant sayenough about this place, but thats because i havnt found anywhere that compares on island! Cheap parking too! Perfect for friends visiting, date night, business hostings, etc! 6 out of 5 starts!

Wonderful atmosphere and happy hour. Our bartender, Rick took such great care of us. The Lilikoi Cider was ever so tart and very delicious. I ordered the burger from the happy hour menu with the fondue and peppers and it was soooo good. I just wish I didn't fill up in the Korean wings beforehand! Whiskey and Bourbon selection is awesome here as well. This place is seriously one of a kind.

This is a restaurant with a full bar that serves up American cuisine with some local flare. It's a great spot to hang out at after work to grab a few drinks and some delicious food. The inside noise can get loud and the lights are dim. The prices are a bit high since they use local ingredients. You also want to save room for dessert.

So sad... went from my favorite restaurant to a place that I’m embarrassed I recommended. Service is fine but food was disappointing. Bread was stale, salad over dressed, tartare over seasoned, steak too fatty, and desert covered in honey to block out any flavor.

We were quickly seated at our reserved time and shortly received attention for water and first orders. Our waiter was an Aussie, quite pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu. All the dishes suggested were either very good or fantastic and the cocktails were equally great matching what he described. Food: The Beer-battered avovado was excellent, brussels sprout great though salty. The beef cheeks were fantastic, super tender and spot-on seasoned while the shrimp linguini had an ideal balance of flavours. The parfait for desert was nothing extraordinary but very solid as expected for the restaurant this level. All portions were norlam size, not big but not small either. Service: Very good and attentive, checked frequently and took/brought plates and utensils at a good pace. Overall all we did enjoy ourselves quite a bit, we recommended definitely for a night out.

Comfy restaurant that serves up freshest and quality ingredients. The Hokkaido scallops is heaven while my farmers market salad is very tasteful. Crab stuffed tomato is highly recommended too. What a great find in the Kaimuki district of Honolulu. The food was incredible featuring local ingredients that our server Fabrice even knew its pedigree! Like which farm it came from! They have wonderful artisanal crafted cocktails and delicious food I highly recommend it. Kaimuki is a hidden gem of an area with many restaurants and local shops if you haven't explored this area please do you won't believe what you've been missing out on!

My wife and I had a 7:30 pm reservation. We got there 5 minutes early and were immediately seated. It was very busy, yet our waitress, Crystal, arrived within minutes with water and garlic bread to start. Their calamari was amazing as well as the sauteed hamakua mushrooms. My wife ordered the Beer Battered Avocado which she enjoyed alot and I had their special New Zealand King Salmon which was very flavorfully and perfectly cooked. It was a great experience for father's day dinner. We will definately return.

My $36.00 ribeye steak was quite bland, the cabbage-looking side was awful. My wife cooks a way better steak than that. Appetizers were small and expensive. I still haven't figured out what I was charged for 2 glorified doughnuts. Side order of garlic mash potatoes was nothing to write home about either. I don't mind paying high prices for delicious food but this was a double whammy. Also, service was not prompt nor special. All in all, a disappointment.

We read up on this place before going. Some magazines said it was a to rated place. Not sure what happened then, because my experience was not good. I ordered the rib eye. When it came out it was over cooked (I ordered medium rare) and came out medium. It also had a very poor flavor - outside of the good char. It came with some side that was cooked in balsmic vinegar. I'm assuming it was supposed to be cooked down, but wasn't. It was not edible. The sad thing is, the best part of the meal was papardelle. For $37 you would expect a very good meal.. Instead I ate something that not only didn't taste good, but made my stomach upset after. It also came with a romeulade that was just awful... Bitter with no flavor. I expect better for this price point. We paid and tipped at 20% because it is the right thing to do. My wife also wasnt to pleased with her dish.

The food was reasonable but I ended up with an awful experience and taste in my mouth when I left. Our server (Tony) literally just disappeared without telling us anything or letting us know who to look for to serve us from that point forward. After a good 20 my minutes of nothing happening finally the bartender started to help us. This was not bear close or anything this was a reasonable hour will not return.
