Somewhat slow service, (which made time for good coversation at the table though)....Decent to good bottled beer and wine list ~~~~~ Meal was delish: ~~~~~ Rosso Piceno, Brunori 2009 Marche 9.0.... A juicy, supple, and vibrant blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese~~~~~ Insalata Dolce 4/8... Bibb Lettuce, Toasted Pistachio, Drunken Berry Vinaigrette, and Orange~~~~ Pizzette (brick oven) $9... Figaro Figs, gorgonzola, crisp pancetta and truffle honey~~~~~~ Recent trip to Italy included trying to find the best pizza all over country. Good finds but, best turned up back in the states, in Wilmington no less. Go figure, to chagrin of many I ‘m sure. Will easily patronize again. ~~~~~GO

I have never seen a place with such potential fall so short of the mark. I was willing to forgive the extremely slow service for both food and drinks, because our waiter was friendly and kept apologizing for the delay. I was still on the fence when a few of the dishes were confused. Unfortunately, the food was unforgivable. A spaghetti dish that tasted pasta doused in prego and cheese whiz. A pizza that smelled so rancid that my eyes began to water. What drove me to the edge was the shocking excess of salt in each and every dish we ordered, including (believe it or not) the chocolate cupcakes for dessert. By the end of our dinner my friends and I were convinced someone was pulling a prank on us. Suffice it to say, I would not ever go back there again.

Fresh, fast, friendly are how I would describe Toscana to go. A lovely choice of artisan salads and sandwiches. Great squash soup and fresh light but hearty breads. Try the coffee or some sweets, you will enjoy it all. Staff is great, I recommend Toscana to go, to anyone in a hurry who wants quality food.

I walked in yesterday afternoon to leave some information. I did not get a very welcome feeling. I loved the look of the place and how wonderful the food smelled. My wife and I travel a lot especially for new places to eat, but from the way I was received yesterday, I am very apprehensive about stepping foot in this establishment with my family. It's a shame to because the food looked very good.

The pasta was overcooked and didn't taste fresh. I was given a bread stick that was as hard as a rock and looked old. I spent $20 and feel very disappointed.

We chose Toscana to host our 10th year Anniversary Party. The manager John Narvaez did a wonderful job of planning and presenting their facility to our guests just as we would have done it at home. All our guests had a wonderful time. The food was great and service exceptional. The bar tenders took care of serving our guests their drinks and they did a great job of keeping all the drinks 'topped off'. Highly recommend them to host parties as well. We have been going there since 2004 and have never had anything short of a great experience. That's hard to do over so many years!

I am unsure if the food is organic, but many savory dishes. Definitely Italian. Try the shrimp wrap or grilled brussel sprouts.
