Stood inside today at the counter waiting for someone to take my order, instead I watched 6 or 7 employees just standing around in he back laughing it up, occasionally one of them would walk past me, avoid eye contact, so I waited for about 10 min, and I walked out the door. The sad part is that the place was empty, and they appeared to be over staffed, yet not one person was able to take my order. I could’ve easily hollered over the counter and had someone assist me, but out of principle I just waited, eventually I just walked out. Extremely poor service.

I ordered a birthday cake for my husband here! Half a sheet, chocolate, with an edible print, and I was SO impressed! It turned out WONDERFUL!! They were quick, did a fantastic job, and it wasn’t TOO expensive for the quality of cake I was getting. I called to see what time I could pick up the cake and it was still in the process of being made, so when the cake for to me it was SOOOOO fresh and moist! Fluffy, the icing was amazing, the way they decorated it and the writing!!! I could go on and on about it, but moral of the story is it was amazing and we will be ordering from them again!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I discovered this little jewel after a friend recommended it. I stop every time I am in the area. Small seating area as well as a small parking lot. Easy access on and off 295 just before Delaware memorial bridge. Pizza, wraps, turnovers with chicken and broccoli. Check it out you will not be disappointed!

I have a big problem with a worker that works for you guys. I love the place I love the food! But I can’t stand rude people. My girlfriend went in asking for Tobacco products knowing she didn’t have her ID but she tried anyway. So she came out and asked me to go get it for her, when I walked in the same Employee was talking about us to a Customer. I only knew that because her & the Customer looked over at us when we was at the counter while the customer was laughing and making eye contact. The Employee walked over and said let me guess a blue game. Failed to check my ID not only did she assume what I wanted she didn’t greet me. I Would appreciate it if the situation got it handled, May be a lesson on manners, all & all if nothing gets done I will report it to the department of labor. Thank you for your time

Always wonderful!!! The crew is great and even though I've known a few of the awesome women personally for a very long time... I think all of the crew are very sweet, kind, and helpful. Helpful Tip for customers: CALL AHEAD WITH YOUR DELI/SLICED LUNCHMEAT or CHEESE ORDERS! When you know you're going to be ordering deli/sliced lunchmeat when you stop by. If you are able to, call your order in ahead (just as you would if you were going to place an food order over the phone) For the last year, probably longer, I've always called it in. The crew definitely appreciate it. I've been told multiple times "thanks for calling ur deli in ahead, we appreciate it, it's helpful when you do that" Even though no-one has given me an exact reason as to why they like it better, I also havent asked "why" simply bcz I know they would be happy and accomadating to take any order no matter how the customer places it (phone, in person,etc) But with as busy as they can get, I can see why its helpful for many reasons. But anyhow, since I was thinking about it and bcz my Google account let me know I was at Italian Kitchen, LOL. I figured id drop this little review/hint. And don't worry about your lunchmeat sitting out until you get there. Once it's sliced they always put it in the fridge case that has the lunchmeat on display so your order stays cold until you pick it up. Normally it only takes anywhere from 10-20 mins depending on how busy they are. Ive never waited any longer than 15 mins for my deli orders. However if you know you're going to be later than the time they tell you, just let them know what time you will be there.

Stunning incredible very reasonably priced cakes!! All the baked goods are incredible. Easily the best bakery in the lower Jersey Delaware area. I ordered a cake to congratulate my daughter it was incredible. The marble cake was moist and delicious and the cake was beautifully decorated!! Best cake I have custom ordered from anywhere so far!! Would also recommend the Red Velvet cupcakes and deli food very generous portions. If you like baked goods this is a must stop destination.

LOVE this place. Literally get dinner from here every Thursday. We LOVE it! The prices are amazing for the amount of food you get with your meals. The staff is always so nice. A few times my order was messed up or something was forgotten but that's only happened when they were really busy and they always fix the problem right away and apologize. Definitely go here. You will not regret it!!!

I turned in my lottery winnings that totaled $23. The girl at the counter tried to give me $10. I said to her that 1 ticket was $10 by itself she commented that it's whatever it scans. I told her to give me the tickets back she removed them from the trash and handed them to me and then she checked her scannings of the tickets and seen that I was correct. She then handed me the money and thanked me. My cousin asked me what was wrong & as I told him, the cashier then commented that the previous cashier must not have cleared her sales, and she made a MISTAKE, so finally she apologized! But had I not known how much the tickets were she would have cheated me & could've cared LESS! I called the next day to speak to the owner Geno about the incident let a message with Jennifer, but the owner never called me, I'M DONE!

Can't get enough of this place. I was down in the area from north Jersey for work and this place was THE place to eat. Quality Italian sandwiches that are huuugggee! The Philly cheese steak is good as well. The only thing I will rag on them for is the pizza which is ok at best, but take that with a grain of salt too

Absolutely love the food here. Fantastic selection and prices. Nothing you buy will ever leave you hungry. The only thing that stops them from getting five stars is the staff. Most are not very friendly. I understand they are busy but a smile can go a long way. And why do they not ask for a name when taking an order? It's almost always chaos for people waiting because they're trying to figure out who's order is who's. I've even had someone else get our order because it was very similar to ours only to come back complaining that it was wrong AFTER they started to eat it. Causing us to wait for them to make the order all over again while we had to wait. It takes less than a second to write a name on the order sheet and make things run smoother. I also don't understand why they don't give you a copy of the slip so you can pay while you wait like their sister store Roman Pantry does. But even at those couple things my family will still keep coming back for the fantastic food.

Italian Kitchen has to be on your Cheesesteak bucket list. Roll is awesome. Meat is plentiful, chopped and flavorful. Cheese is melted perfectly throughout the meat. You should only eat half of your CS because they have an awesome dessert selection. Parking, tables, bathroom and friendly staff are just cherries on top of this cheesesteak ice cream sundae.
