After having several mediocre,expensive meals at high profile Rehoboth restaurants,Catcher's stood out.Well prepared,reasonably priced.no cloth napkins here.At best,decor can be described as basic.but, excellent food at good prices.

Server was new so I'm chalking some of the poor service to that. We asked what all was in the seafood Alfredo and it took three servers to be able to tell us. A table that came in and ordered after us got their food before us. My boyfriend and I ordered crab legs and corn on the cob. Our corn came out at least 10 minutes after the rest of the meals. The food was good, but the slow and subpar service was annoying.

I should have taken the hint when I noticed there weren't many people eating here on a busy evening. Good appetizer specials. Bad appetizers. About the only thing here is a good bar and beer selection. Other than that, deep fried everything. Dirty tables. Somewhat run down. You can do better two minutes walking in any direction.

Keys Kombo is Awesome! Lobster was large, shrimp, scallops. Great Price! My husband loved the oyster stew & large steemed shrimp. Great Service. Food was served in 10 - 12 minutes. Free Parking!

Crab cakes were amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. The sides that came with the dinners were a nice compliment to the main course. Staff was friendly and helpful. They are always busy ... But the food was still ready quickly. Deviled crab eggs were so yummy as well.

No airconditioning. Lots of flys. Steamer bucket not worth $50. Had much better steamers at Joe's Crab Shack. The Maryland Crab soup was poor. Had no corn or other vegetables in it. Just lumps of crab and shredded carrots. The whole place was sticky. Tables were dirty and sticky and floor was sticky. Avoid this place. The whole meal wasn't worth the $80.00

The owner is very racist! His daughter was very rude to my friend in front of her children. Because the pizza was burnt and she complained the daughter came out and shouted "get the *uck out of my restaraunt"! We had 6 children with us and she did not care. The food was horrible and they treated everyone nice but us.

We walked in with a party of 5 to a mostly empty restaurant. The hostess said she had no tables for 5 because of reservations. We sat at the table at the bar. We were there for about an hour. When we left the restaurant was still filled with mostly empty tables. The food was decent. My girlfriend ordered a whiskey neat. The whiskey was served in a stemless wine glass. But the most ridiculous thing was that we were charged an extra $1.50 for a neat pour. We were not informed of this until our bill arrived. The bartender's response was " I don't set the prices".

Decent prices for seafood. It is small and there is no A/C but it was not uncomfortable. Great little place if you want to avoid crowds and the high prices of other restaurants in Rehoboth.

We had dinner around 7pm on a Saturday night. Two appetizers of crab stuffed mushrooms and zucchini sticks with a horseradish sauce were exceptional. My wife ordered (fish) stuffed with crab imperial and I asked for the prime rib rare. My entrée arrived as big as the plate and perfectly rare. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be returning. For two appetizers, two entrées and several top shelf drinks the bill was just over $70. The atmosphere is unlike anything else in Rehobeth.Though we didn't sit at the bar, it has a cool, mellow grotto-like feel. I'd like to add that being from Delaware doesn't bear on my experience; the tourists that visit bring along their own expectations and bias.

What a pleasant surprise! We were wandering Rehobeth Ave looking at happy hour options and saw Catchers' ad for a crush drink special and it drew us in. The place wasn't very busy but we left wondering why people weren't flooding in for the awesome drink specials with fresh squeezed juices and the 1/2 price apps. The bartender, James was a delight and really knows how to pour strong drinks. We'll definitely be back.

Rainy Friday afternoon for half priced happy hour 3-6pm. Bacon wrapped scallops were very tasty. Watermelon Crush drink delish. Lack of A/C didn't bother me, door was open, breezy. Would go again!

Server was rude, service overall was absoultely horrible. It was extremely hot and sticky feeling inside the restaurant, they had fans set out on tables and 2 wall air conditioners that were on but could not provide cool air. The shrimp was overcooked, crabcakes were pretty good but needed to be seasoned better. The restaurant needs some updating and a good cleaning.

Small and unassuming but enjoyed a very reasonably priced and delicious seafood steam pot. Drinks were also good and good specials. Will return when I'm back in rehoboth!

The owner Rolland, was so accommodating and considerate. We purchased a Groupon for oysters and craft beer, then additionally stuffed mushrooms and three clusters of snow crabs. We didn't want fried oysets so he was able to convert them to raw and steamed. We had a great time and conversation . All of the food was great. Oysters were delicious! You should go here : )

We used to enjoy going here for happy hour during beach week. 1st night as we were about to sit down (the place was empty) manager came over said they have 6 reservations coming in and we needed to leave. 2nd night we arrived for happy hour door was locked and with sign saying we will be back at 5pm with the wrong date on sign. We were done after this and didn't try again rest of the week.

Terrible service. Waitress was rude and had a horrible attitude. Food was decent. It was only tables full in there (clearly not busy), but as soon as we sat down to the table she was super rude. I wouldn’t go back unless it were maybe to the bar area instead of the restaurant part.

I made a reservation for my party of 7 for 7 o'clock tonight. Arrived at ten of 7 to be told they had our reservation for 8 o'clock. We were treated very rudely by the host, with no apology given. He said we must be wrong and made no attempt to rectify the situation. The customer service was awful so we took our money elsewhere.

The food took forever and we were the only people in the restaurant. I received the smallest portion of food I have all week. I paid $15 for a crab cake with maybe 10 fries. I went to the bathroom and could see all the garabage and trash on the floor by the kitchen. Horrible portions. Gross conditions. Will NEVER go back!

Solid restaurant option for informal dining. Not much of a wait, excellent food, good portion size. The dining room is directly off the street and at the height of summer it may be a bit warm and sticky, but until then it is fine.

Catchers is always the best! Price is right, the menu selection is varied and the food is truly homemade (not frozen). Love the wait staff. If you go to a special affair outside of the Restaurant, and see that Catchers is catering, you are again in for a treat! Catchers is a hidden Rehoboth secret. Highly recommend!!!!

When doordash didn’t show up to pick up my order, one of the guys at Catchers took my order to my house himself, on his own time, when they were so short staffed that it was just him and his daughter there. While he brought my food all the way from rehoboth to lewes, his daughter was both bartending and cooking by herself. Amazing.

Casual and low key restaurant with good food. No AC so not the best place to get out of the heat. The food was opposite of the atmosphere. It was filling, nicely prepared and presented. Prices are decent and service was great.

My husband and I were down for vacation and found one of their little cards that said they had prime rib the best at the beach and their specials crab legs we got to the restaurant and there was no prime rib on the menu at all whatsoever we didn't see any crab legs so we were very disappointed and ordered appetizers got crab dip and Jamaican jerk chicken The food was not good at all and the prices were crazy. Over 32$ for apps and a soda and beer.

Growing up, this used to be my favorite restaurant in Rehoboth. Fast forward 15 years and it is now a total disappointment. Food was not well prepared, menu was limited, and service was struggling (but that appeared to be because of poor management). There are plenty of other places in walking distance that will give you a much better meal and experience.

We arrived to find an empty restaurant and were asked if we had reservations.. we didn’t but they reluctantly seated us in the empty dining area anyway. We asked for a kids menu and they said they were out of them but we’re told “it has normal stuff on it, Mac and cheese and a burger”.. when asked if there was anything else the rude server replied “I really don’t know”.. We ordered drinks and our meals and despite being now one of three families in the restaurant it took over 35 minutes to get our meals. You had to flag down the waitress for drinks all of which we’re empty as we sat waiting to be served. The service was terrible and the food was decent but I wouldn’t recommend anyone go here unless you don’t have any other options..

WORST place I've ever eaten!!...Pretty sure the waitress was on something..screwed up the orders..had to get up and get our own drinks at the bar because she disappeared..she put two tables on our bill and added 18% gratuity bout died when bill came to us for $360....pretty sure the crab balls were tuna fish..got two cheeseburgers without cheese??..she offered to bring out two slices if cheese and throw them on our burgers??...really? Do not eat here!!!...The best place so far was ARENA'S....GREAT DELI!!!!

Ridiculously over priced for the quality of the food and the service. We waited 40 minutes for the food to come out after order was placed. Their chicken wings still had feathers attached! Wife chicken parmigiana was so dry it crumbled. Only had on waitress on staff so we had to flag the poor overworked girl down to get a drink refill. Please avoid at all costs.

Food was decent but service was terrible. Took close to an hour to get our food and when we complained we were angrily confronted by both the manager and owner instead of at the very least an apology. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month and the tables had paint flaking off of them. We were served crabs with no table cover, hammers, or even plates! Not to mention the restaurant was hotter inside than it was outside. At the end of the experience the waiter told us he didn’t even work there but the owner had asked him to come in to help. Very poorly run is an understatement.

Great happy hour! My boyfriend and I went for $2 bottles of beer and $1 oysters! It was great!The bartender and hostess were very friendly, menu seemed delicious. Just wished they had some music playing...but it was earlier. Definitely recommend this place.

Monday dinner, all great. Blackboard outside alerted that half price appetizers during happy hour. We had several and very good. Big selection, was hard to choose. Wife's broiled seafood medley included perfectly cooked large scallops. My half dozen steamed crabs for $30 were large, heavy, and again perfectly cooked. I was pulling huge sweet lumps and claw meat likewise pulled-out intact. The "mustard" was right and tasty too. Fresh cooked, not reheats. Son's seafood pasta Newburg and fiance's crabcake likewise enjoyed completely. Server Kelsey welcomed us, cheerful and attentive throughout. Small place, not fancy but great value. Kitchen output quality exceeded expectation. We will return.
