We love Vinny's! My husband could live on the All Nighter. I prefer the hot roast beef sandwiches but that's my personal preference and would feel that way anywhere. I am also a tuna fish aficionado and their tuna is second to none. I love that as much as I love the roast beef. It's a treat for us to go to Vinny's.

Went to a funeral reception at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Wallingford. The cold cut sandwiches, especially roast beef, were surperb!I I like that they let you choose your own condiments as I like mine plain. The rototini pasta salad was very good. However the star along with the roast beef were the BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies I ever tasted!!! The consensus from the rest of the gathering was the same, great food! Well Done Vinny's!!!

This is by far my favorite local deli. The selection of innovative sandwiches is reason enough to visit this shop. The upper wall has sandwich creations...things you may not have typically thought of but are really good ideas. They also have standard sandwiches for those who aren't feeling adventurous. They make their own roast beef, and their food is freshly prepared with excellent ingredients. This is truly a wonderful sandwich and worth every bit of it. Pricing is fair. staff is very friendly, and there is a good selection of drinks. This is a typical deli, but they do everything right. Skip the subway, skip the generic sandwich shops and try VInny's. You won't be disappointed.

Just tried this place for the first time and was very disappointed. I'm not sure how they got the title of roast beef king when their roast beef is soggy and flavorless. The grinder I got had way to much bland roast beef with a very small amount of ranch and cold bacon. I'm very disappointed! Definitely won't be going back!!

Well as the old saying goes first impressions count and I can assure you having lunch at Vinny's was absolutely the best! I've been going to West Haven for many years to Savin Rock to get my lobster roll was an old family tradition well today I can tell you my old family tradition is now at Vinny's. The staff that was there for my visit today Tyler took my order for my two hot lobster rolls in butter in a hot dog bun absolutely delicious. Dawn and Barbara Jean amazing great staff polite everything you would expect thank you for an excellent and awesome experience I will be back and with many good friends!

Ordered several sandwiches half was made wrong and the people seemed lost and had no clue what they were doing. Its definitely not the king of roast beef. They should start with order accuracy. Ordered a turkey sandwich with gravy they said they dont have it but when they advertised it on the news channel it had gravey. I would not go to this location as there quality is subway but priced as a premium sandwich location. If the quality is not there atleast invest inquality employees that make the product accuratel.

Vinny's is a wallingford landmark. With Elvis Presley to guide you how can you go wrong. What I like about Vinnie's , beside the food is that is his patriotism and his loyalty to the community. He graciously supports local schools an sports teams. One example my friends son asked for a donation from Vinny and it was given without reservation,unlike Christos pizza who told the boy if I give to you I have to give to everyone. God bless Vinnie's and the king of roast beef.

Awesome deli, the people there are great. I wish they would make the sandwiches a bit more uniform, you literally have to take apart the whole sandwich and put it back together in order to eat it properly. If not, you'll just be taking bites of bread, and bites of meat.

So i had the #52 which was fairly good but unfortunately i could not finish. I did not realize it had gorgonzola cheese, which is basically blue cheese... i cant stand blue cheese!!... but i sucked it up and atleast ate 1/2 because it was to strong of a taste for me. But i still recommend this place because out of what i could taste thru the cheese it was good
