Good food ootions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Decent on tap selections. Efficient bar service. Plenty of seats and tables. They host a lot of special events and you can't beat two dollar Tuesday mixed drinks.

Terry Andrade

american food at this place - great. Went there on a Saturday. I'll return friends next time.

Two Steps is a local, downtown favorite. The food selection is both delicious and diverse, and if you pay attention, there are some great deals (for lunch and happy hour especially), making upscale dining very affordable. Moreover, the historic firehouse building creates an interesting and engaging atmosphere, and the craft beer selection is impressively extensive, thanks to Tyler and the rest of the friendly staff.

Michael Scarchilli

Lunch was excellent. Food was great. Presentation was fantastic and the server was just awesome. The firetruck up on the second floor is a nice deco piece of nostalgia for the old firehouse.

Place wasnt very busy when we went. Service should have been better since it was dead. Waited about 10 minutes just to get a waiter. Food was good. Would go back.

Never been here before until when I'm writing this review, keep in mind I'm very young and I'm writing this review, I got here with my grandmother and my grandfather, during the concert on the green we had other relatives with me who were already there when we got there, immediately when we were served they mention that they had an incident and my grand parents explained, there scallopsnwere cooked poorly and were very soggy, after this the waitress immediatly gave us drinks on the house I got the fanciest platter of chicken tenders I will ever have and an root beer, the chicken was Crispy the fries wear very well salted, and the service was amazing that's why I have two steps in 5 star rating

Lobster panini was FANTASTIC !

Excellent burgers and fries! A bar and grill had better make a great burger but when even simple things like fries are handcut and not frozen, and the salsa is freshly made rather than from a jar, you know it's more than your typical bar and grill. And that's what Two Steps is.

Food was great, but I think our waiter has never dealt with kids before. We went with a group, and by the time we left, he had taken all the salt/pepper shakers away and looked like he just saw a ghost. Speaking of ghosts, I think this place is haunted.

american food here - yummy. I've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting.

I would highly recommend Ciao Catering & Two Steps! Planning a party for 45 guests in my home was daunting, but Tom, Ray and the staff at Ciao Catering & Two Steps made the food portion of the planning so easy! It was easy to order and they provided heating instructions (as I picked up earlier in the day)! All the food was fantastic and my guests raved about each dish! Thanks to Ciao for their help! Great food and great people! We will happily do this again!

Stopped in for lunch. Jamacian Jerk Quesadilla was tasty with enough of a kick without being truly hot. Sauce was a bit runny though. The restaurant is inside of an old brick firehouse which is cool.

Michael Cockburn

Nothing was bad, just disappointing. The cheese burger spring rolls were better the last time. Not much cheese this time. Jerk chicken sandwich was the quality of a Friendly's. My wife enjoyed the chicken and white bean burrito. Place was empty at lunch time.

Howard Matatia

This is one of the best happy hours The offerings are incredible and so are the prices. Regular menue has great food.

I only got the Caesar (which was really good! Added chicken and it was perfect) but those I was with loved their food as well! They got the lobster panini and pork quesadilla!

Buffet breakfast was good. They placed our entire party upstairs so an uncle in a wheelchair and his wife had to eat downstairs. I guess no one told them when the reservation was made. There is no elevator Decor is outdated. My husband went to the bar and they wouldn't let him bring a beer back to the table but the waitress brought him one when she finally came around the table asking if we needed drinks. Great location on Danbury green.

Anastasia Reventlow

I'm still a little confused why the place was empty most of the time while I sat and ate. But overall the good was really good.

lu ann berlinski

Have been there the last two years when my husband plays in the Old Crabs Annual Hockey Tournament. The food, service, and atmosphere is awesome. Highly recommend this place.

Had a great evening attending one of Tom's cooking demonstrations last night. The food was inspiring and the patrons all had a good time. Family style seating sharing good food with new friends. Thank you Tom.

Lori Woodruff

Tom Devine and his staff graciously accommodated a last minute gathering for us, of over 20 friends. They were quick to serve drinks and get us refills, and the food was outstanding! There was little waiting, and with such a large group, we were all able to eat together. No one had to wait. We were all very pleased and are looking forward to hosting future parties here.

Logan DeJohn

Two steps is one of the best restaurants/bars around. Typically they have 12 different beers on tap and their food is outstanding. I drop by often because the staff are topnotch, always helpful, and fun to talk to and like I said, the food is great. They offer catering for events so you can always book them for a party or office event. Highly recommend visiting cause you'll be back.

Susan Merlo

Wonderful food and the owners are the nicest guys. They even send a coupon for a free birthday dinner every year. Great atmosphere, too!

Nice food. Will definitely be back.

While they changed their menu since the last time we were here the food was excellent. If you like a modern twist to some of your classic dishes this is a good place to go in downtown Danbury. Also has a very nice bar area.

Christopher Booth

A nice place. Good burgers, good beer, nice events such as the brunches, and nice decor.

Great Southwest fare. Everything is Fresh and flavorful. New more modern (sports-bar) decore works well for downtown. Tom Devine catered my wife and I's wedding and we could not be more pleased. Everyone complemented the food and he gave us a more than fair price for everything. A must try if you're in City Center Danbury.

Good, love them fries, only reason I wouldn't go often is parking is an actual nightmare

Had a quick lunch at the bar while waiting to attend an event in downtown Danbury and this place was great! There wasn’t really anyone else in there but the blackened tilapia sandwich was really good and really fresh. Also the bartender was super friendly and we had a great conversation after I ate. Would go back if I’m ever in Danbury again!

Service and food was awesome

Great lunch spot. Great food, friendly staff.

Nicole Stiteler

The food and service were absolutely wonderful. The only tricky part can be parking (there's limited street parking and a parking garage on the street behind the restaurant). The staff was VERY attentive throughout my entire event. The price was very reasonable as well per person.

Robert Perez

First off they no longer have brunch. So we tried the jerk chicken quesadillas, titan burger, onion rings, and salmon panini... they were all dreadfully bland and I don't think they know how to use salt.
