Today 7·7·2019 I officiated the wedding of Michael & Vitoria, The Pavilion is a beautiful place with breath taking views of the Lake and a romantic rustic indoor space. Cate or Kate was wonderful to work with (and as I should) she made me feel apart of the wedding. If you are looking for a Wedding Officiant, I'd be honored to come back to the Pavilion on the Lake again.

Wow! Went to a wedding here, and although there was open bar, the alcohol did not affect my perception of near perfection. The staff was young, attentive, friendly and extremely professional. The wedding coordinator was a very large presence insuring her staff/service was top of the line. The food was incredible which in itself was something because it's wedding food. The appetizers were obviously plates with care and while there were items I did not care to try like the crab ceviche, I didn't hear a single negative comment about any of the selection from any of the 140 guests. Apparently, the wedding coordinator was able to leave lights above the dance floor from a previous event that would've cost another $500. The plated dinner was fantastic. Everything that was supposed to be hot, was served hot. The salad was fresh and crisp with fat raspberries. No leftover greens for anyone. I've been to ALOT of weddings. This place was beyond. I would jump at the chance to go here again and I've gone to a wedding at Anthony's Ocean Side venue in New Haven.

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of working a wedding with Cate and her team at The Pavilion on Crystal Lake. There was unexpected rain right before the outdoor scheduled ceremony. Cate and her team quickly adjusted to accommodate an indoor ceremony so that guests were comfortable and sheltered. They were so accommodating and helpful! Everything from start to finished flowed seamlessly and the customer service was top notch! One of the things that really stood out, was Cate’s professionalism and attention to detail. We talked about Greg and Katie’s wedding timeline before the start of the wedding. Right before cake cutting, she said “Okay let me go and check in with both parents and make sure they don't go anywhere and miss the cake and parent dances.” This is something I make sure of as a Master of Ceremonies already, but to have a point person like Cate at the Pavilion to also be on top of this, makes her a real asset and she helped in so many ways to contribute to the success of the couples’ day! Overall, everyone on the team had smiles on their faces and were extremely helpful throughout the wedding reception. Highly recommended!!

Where do I even begin? We first toured the Pavilion nearly two years ago and instantly fell in love. It's set back from the road so it's very private, and the lake the venue itself is on is beautiful. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into the planning the layout from the cabin to the pavilion to the gazebo and outdoor ceremony space. Once we booked our date (actual hours after we took our tour) Mary Beth and the entire CT Wedding Group made sure they stayed in contact with me, checking in to make sure I was doing okay, and to see if they could answer any questions I had, or to help me plan the big day. On the day of the wedding, Cathy, our coordinator, was nothing short of superwoman. She wrangled us, our families, and our large wedding party seamlessly, so our ceremony went off without a hitch. She made sure every person stayed warm with a hot beverage and ensured my husband and I wanted for nothing the entire night. She even let me borrow flip flops when my shoes started tearing up my feet. Cathy, you and your team are the real MVPs. When it came to food, we knew we weren't going to have "typical wedding food" after sitting down to taste the menu earlier this year. We even had a chance to sit down with the head chef to talk menu, dietary restrictions, and any tweaks we wanted. I can't overstate how above-and-beyond every single person at this venue went to make sure we had the best day of our life, and for that, I am truly thankful.

I loved my wedding at the Pavillion. The Whole team did an amazing job. It is easy, fun, and as stress free as planning a wedding can be :) Our wedding coordinator, Lindsay was the best. Lexi, the head server was amazing too!!!!! This venue was perfect! The entire wedding planning process was smooth and easy thanks to the team of professional, fun, and extremely knowledgeable staff. Our wedding planner, Lindsay, not only made the day run smooth but she also was responsive to me and my husband the whole time. The lead server, Lexi, was AMAZING and fun. She made sure we got to try all of the food - which was SO yummy. Our guests could not say enough good things about the atmosphere (beautiful), the food (delicious), the staff (nice, fun, fast), and their overall amazing experience at our wedding. I am so beyond happy with how the day went. Thank you so much CTWedding Group!!!!!!

The staff was SUPER nice. They were really polite and considerate. J have a nut allergy and they made sure nothing that I had had nuts. The took the nuts out of my salad and brought me the appetizers that were safe for me first. My experience was awesome absolutely great!.

It was raining out so I didn't get to enjoy the outdoor accommodations but from what I could see the views of the lake we're beautiful. The food and the drinks were amazing. The magic of my daughter’s wedding last weekend will stay with us forever. Cate, our coordinator, was fabulous! She made the evening run so smoothly with every possible aspect thought out and arranged. The venue is amazing from the magical ceremony area, to the beautiful lake, to the patio and indoor seating area surrounded with romantic decor and lighting. We were even able to spend the day getting ready at the homey cottage on site. The food was outstanding and the servers and bartender were the friendliest and most professional we have ever experienced. Anything anyone needed or wanted was right at their fingertips. Our guests loved the experience and are still commenting on it a week later. We cannot say enough positive things about the way the day went!

I wish I could give this venue more than 5 stars! This was the first venue we looked at for our April 2019 wedding and I was hooked as soon as I saw the beautiful view of the lake. Working with Connecticut Wedding Group was an absolute dream! Every month they would check in with our wedding process and offered suggestions/ideas along the way. If I ever had a quick question, I would get a response in a matter of minutes. On the day of our actual wedding, everything was beyond perfect. The venue was absolutely beautiful and all the decor they used was exactly what I pictured our wedding to look like. Everyone was so incredibly kind from the bartenders to the servers to our amazing wedding coordinator, Samantha. Samantha was an absolute pleasure to work with and truly made our wedding day so perfect. I would recommend The Pavilion on Crystal Lake in a heartbeat to any couple looking for an absolutely amazing wedding experience!

Attended this venue for a friends wedding and was very impressed. The outdoor ceremony area is great, tucked away up a short wide winding pathway through an arbor. Parking is close and abundant. Slightly difficult to find via GPS but the sign is visible if you know what to look for.

Came for a wedding. Very nice grounds and very nice setting. The staff that was part of a separate company, I believe, was VERY friendly. The outdoor portion was very nice too. I would recommend to folks in the area!

Our daughter got married here last Sunday. Absolutely everything they said they were going to do, they did and more. When we arrived for the rehearsal, I was greeted by a girl on the staff who said to me, I will be here from the moment you all step out of the limo until the end of the night. She wasn't kidding. I was so overly impressed with this picturesque venue, the pleasant staff, the wonderful amazing food by their top notch chef, and the cleanliness throughout. They took pride in presentation and it is evident from beginning to end. Wonderful special touches unique to this venue were everywhere you looked. I could list names of all who helped make this an unforgettable beautiful experience but honestly don't want to leave anyone out.
