Countless guests at our wedding, unsolicited, told us that ours was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding, and I couldn’t agree more. From our first meeting, Erick was entirely focused on delivering for us - not what one expects should be at a wedding, but rather what we wanted. After asking what we actually like to eat, he really listened and worked with us to create a menu that made sense. He was flexible and helpful, suggesting family-style entrees served at each table with a buffet for sides and appetizers. The beef tenderloin and risotto were both cooked absolutely beautifully, but we also loved that the pre-dinner chicken-and-waffle sliders were still available throughout the night to round out people’s plates. Every detail was taken care of, and Erick is smart about replenishing the food in stages so that things aren’t left to dry out. He was totally on board with our replacing a wedding cake with his house-made mini desserts, and he even let us bring our own personal ice cream cake to share alongside those.
I really can’t say enough about how well the wedding went, but this is summed up in the fact that after our first half-hour meeting with Erick we asked him to host our rehearsal dinner at his restaurant as well. The food there was phenomenal and fun too, but what really will stay with us is how helpful and eager his staff was. Only some served us both nights, but they all made a real effort to get to know us and make sure that we got a chance to eat. I’ll never forget the server who went to make us plates of dinner while dancing to our DJ the whole time.
We wanted a fun wedding with food that actually tastes good, and Erick and his team went above and beyond to deliver on that. Even with 100 people, the food felt more like a plate prepared just for you than anything I’ve had before from a caterer.
