I'll make this quick. Sapore has good sandwiches but for the most part, bad customer service except for one woman, I'm not sure what her name is. Has tattoos on her arms; she's excellent. Other than that, poor customer service. Sapore apparently doesn't like negative reviews as one that I posted about a bad experience that I had was taken down. I tried to get a sandwich today 25 minutes before they closed. They said "No, we're closed." I replied that it says online they are open until 3PM but was told they stop serving at 2:40 to get ready to close. Sapore, when your normal business hours are until 3PM, customers should be able to get sandwiches up until that time. Closing time is after business hours. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm pulling teeth to get a sandwich.

Sapore is decent. I was a regular customer, but then I got a steak & cheese sandwich that had something hard in it and I nearly broke my tooth. I guess it was a bone or something - but you don't expect that in a steak & cheese. I called and spoke with a guy about it and he said the owner would get back to me. He never did. I mean all the owner had to do was offer me a free sandwich or something and I would have been fine. This is completely unacceptable. Their prices are high as well. They would rather focus on making a quick dollar than taking care of their regular customers. Doesn't sound like a good business-building model to me.

Their sandwiches are always very good, especially the Trooper. If you're not a vegetarian and not lactose intolerant you have to try it. I get mine with long hots instead of roasted red peppers. Yum! They have lots of Italian specialties to take home. This place is a gem.

I went in to grab something for a friend and immediately noticed how overpriced it was, and apparently the staff that can make all sorts of sandwiches etc. can’t make a salad?? You know lettuce in a bowl with stuff on it....they have them on the menu. They should really label the menu “ things we can actually make, and things we claim to make”. NEVER going here again

Great little deli with lots of options and friendly service. There is a small outdoor eating area that is nice in the summer. The food is made quickly and is very good.

Great sandwiches both hot and cold. Italian meats are fresh and cut right and the chicken cutlet is good as well. Don't forget to grab a biscotti for dessert. The bottom line: best deli sandwich in Trumbull.

Great local place to get an amazing sandwich from. I've been a patron for 3 years and call my order in and it's ready when I get there. Beaches park is right up the road, so we get the sandwiches, "to go", and enjoy the great food in a tranquil setting. The kids and I love the grilled cheese's and I'm particularly found of the "good fella" with fresh monzzarella. I love that the food and staff are consistent providing an unparalleled experience from a local business. I highly recommend calling in your orders.
