Owners son was loud, rude & Obnoxious to us when he asked how our experience was when we told him the truth. Our diner was incomplete, table was dirty after I put my purse On it, waitress didn't ask how our Food was but slammed the check down & walked away. We wanted to order desert but we couldn't get her attention. Not a pleasant experience at all. We usually visit every 3 weeks and never had a problem. But when you're the owner and you ask how things were don't call me a liar and say you don't believe me. My husband was so upset and he walked Out. If you don't want To hear the truth then why do you ask me for my opinion. You lost a sale Because we wanted desert and your staff didn't want to be bothered. If I was the owner I'd want to know how my staff treated my customers The owners young son needs to have better manners if he wants a Career in the restaurant business. We haven't gone Back since We Miss Going there because The food is Good. But we were embarrassed by his loud voice and telling us he didn't believe us!!?? Why would We Make this up?

Prices were a little high...but i guess things are more expensive in CT. A plain corned beef sandwich with a cup of soup and a soda...no chips or anything...was $20.00 with tip...pretty steep for lunch. It was good but not great.

I went for the hotdogs and was never disappointed. I loved that snap when you bite down into it and the flavors are wonderful, my hotdog came with the meat sauce. The prices are reasonable, the place is clean and cozy. I would love to go back again and try other things in the menu.

Second time I've ordered from them after living locally. $65 order for family and guests and they forget food. Upon return pick-up they hand me the food left behind from the hour prior. How about making new food or having better customer service ? I'll just take the drive to Capital Lunch in New Britain next time. What a shame...

One of the items on their menu is Whole Belly Clams, and what they see is as good as any place you can name. Tonight I decided to try their clam strip platter. Clan strips at most other places are often fried to death, hard on the outside and rubbery inside. The clam strips at Saints, however are THE best I've ever had. A light golden color with just the right crisp on the outside and gently cooked delicious clams inside. Seriously, the best!

I have been coming to Saints ever since it opened 50 years ago. They are a family run business that treat you like part of the family. Amazing foot long hotdogs with meatsauce, and broasted chicken are what they are known for but they have a large selection of food to choose from. They also offer breakfasts. Can't say enough about this place. It is our family's favorite local eatery.

We really enjoyed our visit to Saint’s. The service was great and our food, for the most part, was delicious and fresh. My only complaint would be about the fried chicken we received. I’m not sure what happened, but the chicken was definitely refried for our order. Maybe their pressure fryers weren’t on yet, maybe they were busy and just wanted to get our food out, but it was inedible. The meat was gray, the bone was nearly black, and the breading was falling off in sheets. Not what I was expecting, as everyone has said their chicken was great. Unfortunately, our waitress didn’t ask why it hadn’t been touched when we asked for our ticket. Everything else was so good, it was a real disappointment.

Saint's restaurant is [at risk of blasphemy]: divine It's akin to stepping back through time to that favorite "greasy spoon" you used to go to, when you were young, back in the 50s/60's/70s. For breakfast, their Western sandwich is a perfect, quick, delish moment: scrambled eggs, green bell peppers, ham & onion, on toast. Sooo good. For lunch, their hot dogs and burgers, (incl. the nostalgic patty melt), are IMHO the best in all of Southington and Plainville. In terms of Bristol residents, though, Saint's is only the go-to in the wintertime, as opposed to Spring and Summer, when the go-to for anyone in the Bristol/Terryville area is Buster's. [Albeit, comparing an outdoor stand like Buster's to an all-year indoors site like Saint's, isn't a fair comparison!!] Saint's is simply a GREAT place for breakfast and lunch. Superb service & truly delicious, quality food. You will love it.

Cute little laid back restaurant with friendly, fast service and great prices. I don't recommend the fried chicken the skin was flavorless and the meat was dried out. However, the coleslaw was fresh, the fries are delicious. The burger and hot dogs were great. Many dessert options such as brownie sundaes and strawberry shortcake.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my husband and it's a long one, fair warning!! He visited here a couple months ago after hearing from others that the food was great. The restaurant's atmosphere was comfortable and appeared very neat. The condiments area was organized and clean. He ordered 2 chili cheese dogs and a root beer to drink which were both satisfying. My rating is lower not because of bad food but because of the customer service received. When he paid the cashier he only recieved half of his change back. When asked about the rest of his change, the cashier declared that he only gave her a $10 bill. My husband explained he only had $20s and asked to speak with the manager on duty after receiving resistance from the cashier. My husband asked for the drawer to be counted and was told by the MOD to leave a name and address so in the event the drawer was really over, the money could be mailed. The MOD refused to count the drawer until the end of the shift. My husband demanded the MOD count the drawer immediately and threatened to call the police. The drawer was finally counted and determined to be over the declared amount. The MOD matter of factly explained to my husband that the drawer was off but by less then the amount claimed. He said my husband was only getting his proper change back because the drawers cash total was in fact, incorrect. The MOD was rude, unpleasant and was almost angry that my husband was determined to be right. The manager made it a point to tell my husband that the drawer wasn't off by the amount my husband claimed and was very snooty about it. This cashier and manager just didn't want to admit that they were wrong. Cashiers make mistakes and when it is found that the customer wasn't given the proper change after a drawer is counted, simply apologize for the inconvenience and give the proper change back. There was no need for the attitude from either the cashier or the manager. Both employees took it as if it was a personal insult when accused of giving the wrong change back. Then to ask for an address to mail the proper change just adds insult to injury because there is a very good chance that he never would have seen that money again. This is all too bad and doesn't make us want to visit this place again any time soon.

Saints catered a breakfast brunch for a baby shower. Was extremely pleased with the service and food. Owner, John, was a pleasure to work with and servers Gerald and RJ were very attentive to keeping the food trays filled and beverages poured and wrapping up the leftovers. Food was excellent.
