food was very good; service was pleasant but the wait time was too long. however, the prices are outrageous. every meal on their menu is about double what it is anywhere else. and yet, the place is packed. that's New Canaan, Ct. for you. enjoyed the meal but too rich for my wallet.

Rosie on Elm Street in New Canaan is one of my favorite restaurants with some of the best food in town. Small and charming in an intimate setting, Rosie offers the finest in gourmet food prepared with love ❤️ You’ll “Taste the Love,” Rosie’s Motto, upon arrival at this fabulous downtown bistro. Stop by for breakfast, lunch or order just a cup coffee but make sure to call for reservations. My sister and I celebrated my June birthday

What a DISAPPOINTMENT! Coffee was burned, no smile with service, no welcome... nothing. Food a MAJOR Disappointment for the price, 2 slices of bacon with a $12.00 egg dish. Egg burrito not great. Flavors like this I expect at a run of the mill diner. I guess I’ll still be looking for a good breakfast place. 1 star for decor only.
