We hired La Cuisine to cater our backyard wedding in Milford on the strength of a recommendation of another couple. Tim made a site visit to our home and was so positive about how we wanted the event structured. He took comprehensive notes and the proposal never missed a beat. The food - mid-afternoon passed hors d'oeuvres and a few stations - was excellent; our guests raved about it, and there was not a shred of leftovers. The staff was generous, friendly, and efficient - we never saw so much as a used napkin left on the tables. My kitchen was left spotless. I never had to so much as think about how this was going. Recommended!

A terrific place - I've been to the market dozens of times for breakfast or lunch, and I rarely leave without picking up something for dinner. The food is very good (especially welcome considering there's nothing of comparable quality nearby), and over the years I've been going, the service has been remarkably consistent in its professionalism and warmth. I've also used La Cuisine for catering a lunch for 100+ guests under pretty challenging conditions. The food was very good and beautifully presented. Again, I was impressed with the staff -friendly and yet unobtrusive. The planning process was smooth and easy, and Michael listened closely to all my ideas and improved them. Highly recommended.

This little cafe is a hidden treasure. I would have known it was an amazing restaurant. It's a brick building but once your inside it's as if your somewhere else. A beautiful display of food options, desserts, breads, and catering. Everything about LaCuisine is great!

We always have a great time when we bring a gang there from the Evergreen Woods retirement community to enjoy a birthday brunch. The soups are great, too. Lovely staff, decor, cool service. Only flaw: the tables seem too tall for the chairs, sometimes (us shorties are sensitive about that kinda stuff!).

The staff is very nice - The food is not. Got extremely stale french fries and it was agreed they were simply un-edible. They came with a sandwich that had about 2 slices of meat. Will not likely order lunch from there in the future.

LaCuisine helped me plan a 70th Birthday Celebration that ballooned from an estimated 30 guests to 80. They were wonderful from the start not just in planning the food but in advising in the setup. The food was terrific and the serving/setup team they sent to the house was fabulous. Our guests wrote compliments. I couldn't have been more pleased. We learned of LaCuisine when attending a memorial service reception we attended in the fall. We liked their food so much I requested a card and subsequently hired them for our event.

What a fantastic evening we had at our 1920's Flapper Bash! Many of the guests commented and shared that it was one of the greatest parties they’ve been to, EVER. We have La Cuisine to thank for making it possible. Each and every person that came from La Cuisine was kind, eager to serve, classy, helpful, approachable and down to earth. Debbie was fantastic, as were all of the chefs, wait staff and Jess, the bartender. What a crew! The food was absolutely delicious, and the CAKE… the cake was phenomenal. Truly everything was done with excellence. We plan on teaming up with you all at our next opportunity in the future!

I love La Cuisine for brunch, and have never been disappointed. I've eaten there several times over the past 5 years, and have found the quality is very consistent - excellent food, great service, good prices. I recommend the corn beef hash - like none you've had before - chunks of beef, not mush, with lovely crispy well-seasoned potatoes. This past weekend I had the Swiss chard and white bean omelet with cheese - also delicious. The coffee is strong and tasty, and the staff kept my cup filled. On your way out pick up two containers of the bourbon spiced pecans. Two, because one to share and one to keep!

Healthy casual food 5 star flavors and original tastes. Try some wheatberry n black rice salad for a side to a great crispy eggplant sandwich on a baguette with pesto dressing. Yum

neat little cafe/bistro once you get inside, but the setting in a business park across from the town dump is a little extreme, even for a foodie fanatic. that said, the food is pretty good, but the prices are obviously meant to target the foodies.did i mention the town dump across the street?

La Cuisine is a gem - in a perhaps somewhat non-descript shell is one great restaurant. Once you enter, you immediately know you've come to the right place - warm, inviting, pleasant surroundings. The wait staff is competent without being overbearing - the seating arrangements are comfortable - you know there are others around, but are you are not crowded in. But, it's the food that really sets La Cuisine apart. High quality ingredients - many of which are locally sourced. Generous portions without being overblown, servings are attractively plated and served at the right temperature. BTW - their coffee is from a local roaster and is worth the trip alone. We recently enjoyed fresh bagels, lox, capers, tomatoes, onions, and cream cheese - a not uncommon dish, but prepared beautifully and it tasted way above average. We've eaten here for both breakfast and brunch, but not lunch, so can't comment there. But, as a breakfast aficionado, I heartily recommend La Cuisine. There is a very obvious effort on the part of the waiters, the chefs, and the management to ensure that you enjoy your meal - a not so common feeling in other locales. Oh - their Take-Out selections are worthy, as well - make sure to grab some of their homemade granola on the way out

We recently worked with La Cuisine for a fundraising event in Wilton CT. Micheal was beyond hopeful during the process, helping us create a tasty and memorable menu for our “Havana Nights” themed party, open to suggestions and also proactively sharing ideas to take our food to the next level. The day of the event the staff arrived on time (actually a few minutes earlier) and very well prepared. The staff was beyond professional, kind, well mannered and helpful. The food was displayed beautifully, the food was delicious and our guest kept complimenting on how good it was. From croquettes, to ceviche and polenta topped with lechon among so many other delicacies, including a late night Cuban Panini station. They really helped us created the ambiance of the party and they worked in the background without mayor direction of our part. The staff also did a wonderful job cleaning up and organizing all items that needed to be returned to the rental company. Thank you Micheal and all the La Cuisine team for a very successful event!

My wife and I were staying in the Branford area after attending a wedding and were looking for a nice breakfast the next day. We are so happy we chose to stop in to La Cuisine. The food, service and atmosphere were all wonderful and prices were quite reasonable. I got the breakfast burrito that nicely melded lots of flavors together. I thought the home fries that came on the side showed the level of care they put into all aspects of the meal, especially when some places treat the potatoes like an afterthought. My wife's chicken salad sandwich showed La Cuisine isn't just a breakfast place. Our meals came out efficiently with pleasant service from a waitress who gave honest, helpful recommendations. They also kept my coffee cup full the entire visit.The atmosphere is modern, yet homey and the display case showed off an impressive array of baked goods and side dishes. Overall, we highly recommend La Cuisine!
