Easy sandwhich and salad place in West Hartford center that is very similar to Panera. I usually do the take two option here so I can get a salad and half a sandwich. They have cups for water so you don't have to purchase a drink. Nothing fancy but all the food has been good and pretty quick to come out. In the summer they have some outdoor seating as well.

I am a regular customer and I just had the worst experience ever! The cashier on May 17 at around 6:10pm had the most disgusting attitude, she couldn't even fake a smile.. she made me feel as if I were a bother. I've never had any complaints on the food because it's decent, but the horrible customer service makes me never want to spend another penny at this restaurant.

Well to start the food was fine but the service was terrible. I buy a 6 dollar kids meal and the menu says that it comes with a soda, so I asked for a soda. The sandwich I ordered I asked for cheese and that costs 1 dollar extra. They forgot to put the cheese and then they charged me 1.99 and then wouldn't give me a refund even though the menu was false. The waitress and the manager are bad and they need to update the menus.

Their bread is the best. I can't have enough of it. Sometimes they have end pieces for customers to eat which I cannot resist. My favorite is the Cobb Salad but recently tried Chicken Adobo Salad and that was delicious! Their sandwiches are filling and now their menu includes "bowls" as well.

Horrible service, I called three times and three times in a row was asked to be put on hold by a gentlemen. Each time when I told him I wanted a pickup order and needed a total of five sandwiches he would suddenly fake not being able to hear me and would then proceeded to hang up. When I arrived thinking the place must have been packed I found the exact opposite with two total customers and the two girls behind the counter were trying to figure out who felt like helping me. So after ordering and waiting and then receiving my order, I proceeded to leave where I saw a male associate the only one in this evening and he was sitting and eating with his pals. Customer service can not get much worse than this.

Love the food. Just very disappointed, my order has been messed up the last 3 times I've gone, in a row. I always get it to go and don't notice until I'm home. Frustrating.

This is the second time I ordered breakfast here. The first was Ham/Egg/Cheese on bagel. It was horrible! The Egg was half cooked. Today was second time asked for a Bagel/ with X Cream Cheese. The girl behind counter not so friendly. She begins to make sandwich so I go wait at end of counter where opening is so the workers can come out. She finishes the bagel put on middle of counter closest to door so I have to walk over there when she walks past me. Customer Service goes along way!!!! She could have just handed to me as she walked right by me instead of me having to walk over to where she left on counter..plus she didnt even ask if i wanted my bagel toasted she just assumed! 6/18 - Went back cause i was in rush! Well today's worker was outside (didnt know she was a worker) and I stood there for a good 5 min before she even came in. Keep in mind there was another worker sitting down eating who saw me walk in and standing there. Then I ask for Bagel w/ CC and she charged me an xtra fee without telling me. So I tell her i dont want x she goes and removes it. Now I have to watch my acct cause she says she didnt charge me again when my receipts tell me other wise. I am done going here.

I have been eating here for over 5 years and have never been so disgusted with this restaurant. My friend and I ordered 2 Chicken Cesar Salads today, both had long strands of hair in them that were not our own. On top of that after dumping our plates out we discovered a bug in my salad. I am truly disgusted and disappointed. Will NOT be dining here any longer.

I ordered 3 takeout salads. 1 salad did not have everything I ordered. Also, the chicken had an unusual nasty smell not good quality may have been spoiled. Bread was very salty. Friendly worker and he was kind enough to refund 1 of my purchase over the phone. However, it was my first time visiting and I wont go there again.

The food is good but I tried to go there a second time during my 15 minute work break and stood at the register waiting for someone to even acknowledge me for about 10 of those minutes, then I realized that even if they were to come serve me i probably wouldn't be back before the end of my break. I thought it was a food option for a quick bite to eat, but I suppose not

I want to like Cosi but I just don't. I have yet to have a pleasant meal here. My salad is always brown or slimy, sandwiches are sloppy, soup is nothing special. I tried a few times but I don't think I'll return here.

Love! S'mores tray, so cool. Split a couple things with my friend to taste a variety. Loved all of it. Ill be coming here again for sure. S'MORES INDOORS!

Service was good but the place was kind of messy and dirty - especially the mens room. Food good though and it was quick. The steak salad is really good and soup also. We went here because the place next door was too crowded!

Walked in at 9:08 PM, they close at 10. Was told no food. When I asked why, she said they could do salads only. I asked "no sandwiches?" she said "depends on what kind". Stop trying make people not want to come in AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSING. Food was acceptable.

We used to have lunch here a lot when we lived here in CT. We went today to grab lunch and the place seems to have gone downhill. Our sandwiches used to be full with chunks of chicken but now we got really thin sliced breast enough to cover the bread but hardly enough to satisfy an appetite. They got real flimsy. The carrots I got looked old. They were dry and white. I gave them back. Too bad. We liked coming here on our CT visits

It's ok. I miss the comfy seating that made it cozy before. The modern furniture is cold and uncomfortable. Ordering at the counter just doesn't seem to work. I miss the old business model of waitresses and comfy seating now it feels like Au Bon Pan.

Food wasn't very good. Rice for my chicken bowl was hard, we ordered a chicken salad and it came with less than half a chicken breast. Also the inside of the restaurant was dirty. Atleast all the employees were nice

We all ordered lunch. My sandwich still had the paper they put between cheese slices and I didn't notice until after a few bites, YUM!. No big deal these things happen. Then my co-worker notices paper in his sandwich as well. QUALITY CONTROL???? So they replace the order. The new sandwich I got had a tomato that looked like it had been chewed on by a rat and the stem part was still attached. How does someone preparing sandwiches not notice a disgusting looking tomato? The other sandwich had rotten looking avocado on it. The quality control at this place is AWFUL! This was the first AND last time I order from Cosi.

Absolutely my favorite place for a quick bite! And I find more often than not, that I'm ordering the "Taste Two". Half a tuna melt with half a Cobb salad. Don't let the word "Half' scare you off. There's plenty of tuna and you'll be amazed how much chicken and egg they serve in the salad! If that wasn't enough, they include a large piece of their in-store baked bread and our meals have always been delicious. When we're hungry and in a hurry it's our go-to place. And there just as many times that we relax and hang out in the extremely comfortable setting. Give it a try and I'm sure you'll be hooked just like us!

Not a place for me. The chicken and steak on my salad were not of good quality. The margarita pizza flatbread is terrible. So salty. Cheese wasnt even melted. The soups were okay. The quality of thr salad was okay. Come here if you need a quick sit down bit, but dont expect much quality food-wise. Thats my opinion
