I really enjoyed the Sunday Gravy pasta and my wife enjoyed the rigatoni eggplant. Ieberry lemon cake for dessert was excellent. No alcohol but also split a chopped salad. Dinner for 2 came to 87+ incl. tax & 20% tip.

My wife and I have been going to CA for around 15 years. We always find the staff freindly and attentive. We usually are seated at the bar by choice and have friends that join us on a regular basis. The menu is creative with many choices and the best thing is it's very consistant every time you order the same dish. Sam DaVellis, the Owner, is an outstanding chef and very creative. If you don't see what you want on the menu or you want it a certain way, just ask, he is very accomodating. I really like the decor, but maybe that"s because I was the architect. I have recommended CA to many of my friends and they have all been very satisfied. Enjoy!

Got a few trays for New year's. Food was great. Prices on par or slightly below other restaurants. They crammed so much food into the trays I should have only gotten all half trays.

Nice ambiance and good service. We stopped in with our two kids. They have a nice kids menu and most importantly, a variety of gluten free options. Me and wifey got GF pizza which was very good. It's a very crispy thin crust. Kids got gluten free pasta with red sauce. It's a bit expensive for dinner, but it's nice to have an option for Italian.

We used Carl Anthony’s pizza truck this past weekend for a surprise party and it was AWESOME! From start to finish the process was a pleasure. Booked over the phone and coordinated via email. Carl Anthony’s was super responsive and the entire process was a breeze. The 3 guys that showed up were great. It was pouring rain when they arrived but that didn’t stop them from setting up in a matter of minutes and cranking out pizzas shortly after. Their pizza chefs were friendly to all of our guests and took plenty of requests. Everyone was stuffed but pizzas kept coming. And right before they packed up they made a bunch more and boxed them up for us. They also provided a salad and capped the night off with fresh cannolis. Oh and the wood fired pizza was delicious! The balsamic fig pizza was a favorite. Great process start to finish and would recommend them to my friends and will use them again in the future!

Not being from the Monroe area, I had never heard of this restaurant. Apparently, they're in their 20th year, and I can see why! A delightful experience of attentive/knowledgeable service and well executed/presented cuisine. Bravo CAT‼️

CA catered a graduation party at our home--the Clam Bake with the chowder add on. Food was great--cooked fresh onsite. Chowder was exceptional. Everybody was happy with the entire spread. Very professional from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

Very popular with local crowd, so the narrow interior layout and bar are nearly always full. Been here at least 1/2 doz times; so once you secured the table the menu is varied and good enough across the dishes offered to keep you coming back. Wine selection could be better and varied more often.

Fabulous! I haven't been at Carl Anthony's in a few years. I almost forgot what a great place it was to eat and drink at. My bartender's name was Kim. She recommended everything I ordered. She was right on! I had the 1/2? portion penne ala vodka, garlic bread, and for dessert, roasted garlic apple crumble. Everything was awesome. I recommend Carl Anthony's and their bartender, Kim! Great place...still.

I went to Carl Anthony's the other day for lunch. The beer i wasnted kicked and the bartender looked to tired to switch the lines so asked how bad i really wanted the beer. I decided on wine to be nice to him.Then I ask for a pizza with no cheese and veggies which was not on the menu, but very easy to make. The cost of the cheapest pizza was $12 and the most expensive pizzas which were New York Strip pizza or Clam and shrimp pizza was $17.99. I figured mine would be somewhere in the middle, however I was charger $18 for a pizza with no cheese 3 veggies. When i asked about it the bartender said, just pay it and then my manager can credit you card if you leave you number. I thought this was observed but did as he said. Its been 3 days and no call, i hate this place because of a kicked keg and 3 dollars. Kinda silly, but i would never go again because of the service of the staff.

We enjoy going to Carl Anthony's Trattoria in Monroe, CT. No matter what we order on the menu, we have been very pleased. My favorite is the Wood Grilled Salmon. One of the best salmon entree's I've had anywhere. The servers are great and very attentive to my dietary restrictions. I am gluten free, and have a shellfish allergy. Carl Anthony's has always been very accommodating to adjust an entree to suit my needs. Also, the atmosphere is lovely, the service excellent. A great place to sit an relax and really enjoy a meal.

Carl Anthony's Trattoria is always a great experience! The food is great. The staff is really friendly. We enjoy many of the creative dishes on the menu and always love the different specials. Also, on Friday nights they have some great bands which makes for a fun time to start the weekend. It will even be better in the summer out on their patio!

Eat here often. Food is great. Gnocchi gorgonzola is the best I have had. Pasta is so light and flavorful. Coffee and donuts dessert will not disappoint. Staff is friendly and attentive.
