They also had a beautiful buffet display that went perfectly with the decor of the wedding. The Gourmet Kitchen Catering provided incredible bite size appetizers for a large event for the Museum of Boulder and the feedback we received was amazing! Everyone loved the variety and especially the taste of the food and most went back for seconds and thirds because they couldn't get enough! We used The Gourmet Kitchen for our wedding and our rehearsal dinner. They offered 50% off the food for the rehearsal dinner since we booked our wedding with them, which was great! Madhoo herself worked both events, and made sure to come talk to me during the events to ask how everything was going, and if we needed anything. The food was great, and they were super flexible with all my (many) changes to the estimates/food choices/numbers throughout the entire process. Vipul was very responsive leading up to the events, and was also very nice in responding to my emails in a timely manner, and answering all my questions. They were very reasonably priced (and I got estimates from ~10 caterers), and were very flexible, customizing the menus to exactly what we wanted. They can make pretty much anything, so you just have to tell them what you have in mind. Definitely recommend them, they will put you at ease on your wedding day knowing they will take care of all the food/bar/service.

My wedding (July 2015) was held at Copper Leaf Event Center and catered by the Gourmet Kitchen. The event center is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. The ceremony was held outdoors in front of a charming white gazebo, the reception was held indoors, and there are lots of spots for taking photos. The bridal suite, groom's suite, and lobby area were very spacious and suited my needs perfectly. The food by the Gourmet Kitchen was fabulous and some of the best I've tasted! The owner, Madhoo, was easy to work with and very accommodating. She responded to emails and phone calls quickly and was extremely helpful and attentive during the rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding. Madhoo set us up with other wedding businesses (DJ, cake, photographer), which was extremely helpful, as it cut down searching and planning on my part. I do wish I had had more help and advice in planning the timeline for the wedding day from the event center. However, the wedding day still ran smoothly and was great! I am quite satisfied that I had my wedding at Copper Leaf, and I certainly recommend it to others getting married.

I had the Gourmet Kitchen cater my wedding on July 4th at Hudson Gardens and it was a GREAT success! Kris who was the lead and bartender truly went out of his way multiple times to make sure that we were satisfied and had everything we needed! But here is the part that is truly exceptional. When you are planning a wedding, most of the work is done beforehand. Multiple meetings, time lines, pickup, drop off, and the list goes on. Mahdoo, the owner, made sure that our communication was truly a pleasure. The planning process was fun and I felt very spoiled on our special day due to some of the extras that she made sure were there for my husband and I. When you are picking a caterer the money and the food are very important yes, but equally as important is the customer service you are given. The Gourmet Kitchen excels in all three!

If they say Visual Appeal is Half The Meal then they are right as the food was beautiful. But not only that, it was fresh, taste, and turned out to be the center piece of our event. Their food is amazing. If I was married to Madhoo, or even worked at the Gourmet Kitchen, I'd be the size of a house; I just couldn't stop eating the food. Wow. Madhoo came up with our menu, too, and it was lovely, the dishes all went well together. The presentation was beautiful. I have celiac disease, so I have to be very careful about eating out/eating something I haven't cooked. Madhoo really made me feel like she knew what she was talking about, when discussing how she avoids cross contamination. Best of all, because of the simple menu, we were not upcharged for the food allergy considerations. That is rare (even though most food is naturally gluten free of course!). Our event was held at their attached venue, Copper Leaf Gardens, so I don't know what their catering delivery options are/are like. I would highly recommend The Gourmet Kitchen for your next catered event. They are very easy to work with!

If you are looking for delicious, perfectly seasoned food prepared and served with love then The Gourmet Kitchen is your answer! Madhoo and her staff were absolutely amazing to interact with it was an honor to have them cater our wedding! Madhoo has a peaceful, gracious spirit and she knows what she is doing when it comes to gourmet creations! She was always immediately responsive in answering any questions we had and made the perfect recommendations leading up to our big day. My husband and I are pescatarian (We eat fish and seafood but no other types of meat) so we decided on a pescatarian and vegetarian menu for our wedding. Although The Gourmet Kitchen caters all over the state, their “homebase” is located in Copper Leaf Gardens and Event Center where our wedding was held. Madhoo and her husband, Vipul, also own the event center. We offered our guests spinach and artichoke crostini appetizers before our ceremony and coconut shrimp as a passed appetizer during cocktail hour. My father-in-law raved about the coconut shrimp! Madhoo seemed to be in a hundred places at once. She came to my bridal suite with a gift for me and my husband and I remember thinking that was so thoughtful of her! She provided a bag of rice for one of our guests when his date accidentally knocked his phone in his beer. She made sure my husband and I had cocktails immediately after our ceremony to cheers our marriage, and then the most impressive thing happened: we decided since we didn’t want to have a receiving line to take an impromptu limo ride with our wedding party so we all piled into the limo and the last thing I saw before the door closed is Madhoo’s hand with 2 big plates of coconut shrimp for us to enjoy on our ride. I was so impressed at her ability to roll with it since we literally decided at that moment to take a limo ride! I really wanted to eat all the delicious food we had at our tasting and Madhoo made sure that we did and I really appreciated that. For dinner we decided to have stations. We had a salad station with organic mixed greens, candied nuts, and grilled peaches (yum!) with a peach vinaigrette. We also had a veggie crudite, warm rolls, and rainbow hummus (regular, roasted carrot, beet, and pesto). For the main courses we had a mashed potato bar with regular and horseradish potatoes with toppings of cheddar cheese, chives, and sour cream and 2 types of pasta: a veggie and paneer with marinara and a spicy pepper shrimp with alfredo sauce. The paneer was so delicious! It was seasoned and seared perfectly all of our guest really enjoyed it! The spicy pepper shrimp with alfredo was so flavorful I am really wishing I had some right now. Everything we served was gluten free with the exception of the pasta but Madhoo had gluten free noodles on hand when requested. I definitely had plenty to eat which we all know is an accomplishment when you are the bride! Madhoo even offered to plate my meal for me to make sure I didn’t get marinara on my dress. Late night we had a popcorn bar with different seasonings, sweet or savory, and kids and adults loved munching on freshly popped popcorn as we danced the night away. We had “to-go” meals packaged for us very clearly labeled “Bride” and “Groom” before we left for the evening to enjoy the next day and I loved that! I consider myself a pretty laid back bride who wanted to keep our wedding easy and simple and Madhoo and her staff made our wedding day effortless and everything went so smoothly! All of our guests left full and happy! I cannot thank Madhoo enough and I really hope I have the opportunity to enjoy her creations again. I would 100% recommend The Gourmet Kitchen. The service, attention to detail, the thoughtfulness along with tasty food cannot be beat!

We could not have been happier with out experience with the Gourmet Kitchen! They catered our wedding at Boettcher Mansion for about 100 people. Madhoo made a custom vegan menu for us, including vegan Roti, chana masala, and cauliflower cream pasta. We had multiple tasting and everything we tried was incredible. Madhoo went above and beyond, answering our questions from tablecloths to centerpieces! Since we did most of the planning ourselves, Madhoo became our unofficial wedding planner, even counseling us when we were getting overly stressed by all the other details haha! Everything was executed smoothly, and they were so easy to work with. Above everything, the food was delicious! They even prepared a 'Thank you' meal after the wedding so we got to taste their excellent cooking another time! I won't hesitate to call for any events in the future.

They worked with me to make sure everything met the dietary needs of all of our guests (including kosher marshmallows AND gluten-free graham crackers on the s'mores station - not an easy request!) and everything was absolutely delicious. Cannot speak highly enough about The Gourmet Kitchen. They catered my ~100 person wedding in Aug 2018, and the food was spectacular, the presentation was both classy and eye catching. Having ample amount of facetime with the chef and owner was a bonus too. We had service staff walk through the menu with each of our dietary restricted guests, something that we consider above and beyond. We had a significant amount of leftovers that the catering staff packed up for us, which we finished in the following week as they were so yummy.

We ordered the stuffed chicken with pineapple salsa and Hawaiian rolls and butter. Also lasagna and BBQ beef brisket with rolls we also ordered salad. We paid to have a server to set up the food and serve it I went up to the table to Check everything out and I noticed the Hawaiian rolls and butter were not there The server called the store and came back to me and said this is all they gave him. He offered to go to a local supermarket and buy some. I said that's fine. By the time he returned, everyone had served themselves. I had tipped the server $50 ahead of time. I went and served my own food as the server was gone. I took a couple bites of the chicken and it was really dry and not stuffed. I asked my granddaughter if hers was stuffed and she said no, but it's really dry. I asked my husband and he said the same. I asked more family members and I received the same answer. I was upset by this as I spent a lot of money for the food for my sons wedding. I wrote to the owner and asked for a partial refund. He said that was unreasonable. He claimed that the stuffed chicken on the menu was a mistake. It was just chicken breast with salsa I said that was not an unreasonable request because I would never have ordered it if I knew what it really was. And what it really was was small flat pieces of chicken with small pieces of pineapple. My last request for a partial refund has been ignored. This company is the most unprofessional I have ever dealt with. I'm very disappointed with this company and will never recommend them. I'm sure if I went back to the menu it would still say stuffed chicken. Do not trust this company with your money or your event the owner does not care about his customers satisfaction only the money he can get from you

The Gourmet Kitchen catered our 50th wedding anniversary at Boettcher Mansion. We had a party of 70 with dietary preferences running the spectrum from lifelong carnivores to committed vegans. The Gourmet Kitchen provided a buffet to please all of them. Of special note was the range of desserts: they were the last thing our guests ate, and we believe they will be the best remembered by family and friends. Especially noteworthy were the mini-swans. Delicate and tasty, they caught many people's attention. Madhoo Seth became more than our caterer; she willingly and happily became our event planner. At first, we were attracted to The Gourmet Kitchen by the attractive and informative website. As things progressed, we came to rely on Madhoo more and more, trusting her experience and guidance. She thought of things that got us ahead of the planning curve, and we looked forward to our periodic calls with her, as well as the final walk through at the Boettcher Mansion. Our event went off beautifully, just as it was planned. One last little tidbit that is typical of Madhoo and her Gourmet Kitchen: we had grandchildren pass out 4 ounce boxes of toffee to our departing guests. The boxes were in baskets for the children to carry. To help the task be especially attractive, Madhoo tied a gift for each grandchild on their respective baskets - a Power Ranger for the five year old boy and a unicorn toy for the nine year old girl. They were delighted, and we were impressed.

Madhoo and her staff just helped us host a huge Indian wedding for our daughter. It was a major event and they catered twice for us. One was preplanned and the other was almost unplanned. We were suppose to have the indian wedding at home however due to weather we had to move to Copper Leaf Event Center abruptly. Madhoo and her staff helped us immensely and made every thing just beautiful along with delicious food. All of our guests were treated with respect and lots of smile. Service was amazing. Food presentation was great as well. I do not have enough words to give praises to The Gourmet Kitchen Management and Staff. Food Indian and western were both amazing. The care and warmth that went in towards our guests along with planning and executing both events were amazing, we highly recommend Madhu and her team for any event and specially for the important ones as the wedding.

All I can say is wow! Gourmet Kitchen made my wedding a dream come true! Barb was just absolutely phenomenal. It was never difficult getting a hold of her, and she would always respond instantly to all my questions. She did everything in her power to make sure I (the bride) was happy, not to mention how attentive and on top of it she was the actual day of the wedding. We chose to have a seated dinner where everyone was served at their tables as opposed to a buffet style and can I just say, the service and food was absolutely incredible. I went to an event that Gourmet Kitchen catered at Copper Leaf last summer. I finally decided I must write a review. The entire experience was fantastic. The setting was beautiful. The food was so good I have been trying to duplicate it at home. I even have the spice mix I got from them to do it with. And still cannot come close, even though what I make has been great. You simply must give them a try. And, if you are considering an event or wedding in the North Denver area check Copper Leaf out. It is a true gem.

Madhoo and her entire team did such an amazing job at my wedding! All of the guests talked about the delicious food even weeks after the wedding, some of them even telling my husband and I that they loved the food so much they had to go back for seconds! The appetizers were so unique and delicious, and our main course of pork schnitzel with many other delicious side dishes was a highlight of the night! We loved the diverse menu which consisted of Indian and German food. One of the events was an Indian Wedding where the Indian cuisine was off the charts good! So good, in fact, that I hired TGKC to cater a small party I was hosting for my book club with an Indian theme. Every guest asked for their contact information. Can't wait for the next time I can hire TGKC. Perhaps for Chicken Marsala, which is equally delicious. They really can cook in your language!!

Madhoo was so nice to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. She really knows what she is talking about and exceeded my expectations. Her staff was friendly and picked up after my guests. The food was excellent and I couldn't have asked for more.

They treat you like family. Madhoo and I worked out a menu for 55 people of a build your own Bombay bowl and make your own street tacos. Tony was in charge on that evening and he + all staff were fantastic and professional. They even made a to-go box for the DJ which he was so appreciative of. We had Midwestern guests so Madhoo made sure that the food was flavorful but not overly spicy and everyone, even the people who had never eaten Indian food before, loved it. I'd recommend TGK for any event, but they book up fast. Our event was at Butterfly Pavilion, but Copper Leaf looks lovely too.
