Gemma was wonderful to work with to create the perfect menu of appetizers and desserts (which our guests couldn't stop talking about!). Lindsey and Anna were the perfect, professional on-site team to ensure that everything was beautifully set up and maintained throughout the evening. They made it easy fro me to host the party, concentrate on the guests and not have to worry about the food and drinks. I highly recommend Savory Cuisines and will definitely use them again!

When we first contacted Savory Cuisines, Emily suggested a visit to meet us and see the place. She drove all the way from Boulder to Littleton through Denver traffic to do this. It was above and beyond from the very beginning and she responded to everything that way throughout our planning time and our wedding. Some caterers let you know how busy they are and that We have to work around their schedules. We member got that attitude from Savory. Emily listened and responded to all of our concerns through email and the phone, and there were many details to work out. My family has many dietary issues and several vegans in the mix due to illnesses. This company offered the most wonderful options! Beet Risotto cakes, artichoke device, fantastic hummus and a bruschetta bar with three different types of bruschetta! There were meat options too that those guests found to be delicious. Everyone raved! We had an outdoor wedding at the end of September in Littleton CO. Needles to say, we were quite concerned about what the weather would do and found a back-up venue. Savory was great about being flexible up to the last week about the location. From sign-up to set-up to service, this company goes the extra mile. You won't be disappointed!

We wanted to have a taco bar at our wedding reception. After trying several other catering companies in Boulder, Savory's flavors COMPLETELY outdid everyone else's. Not only was the quality much better than some of the other catering companies, but the price was MUCH better! The food was flavorful, the staff was fun, and our wedding was FANTASTIC! All of our friends and family couldn't stop raving about how great the food was and they executed our signature cocktail (sweet tea sangria) perfectly! Plus our leftovers were great too!

Savory Cuisines provided full service catering for our wedding of 85 people in July 2019 at Rembrandt Yard in Boulder. Savory is amazing! From the first phone call to the final linen and presentation details, Emily and her team were amazing. Savory really can make any food idea come to fruition! We had a wonderful wedding dinner spread including roasted chicken with a mushroom wine sauce and I requested a copy cat of a favorite pasta of mine (Pesto Cavatappi from Noodles & Company) and it was absolutely delicious. They also made our carrot cake wedding cake (I should have gotten two.. it was so good!). I wondered if it really would be the same as what we tasted during our menu tasting (for 2), and it was exceptional (for 80+). Bartenders and staff from Savory were incredibly attentive. I came up with my own cocktail recipes and the bartenders nailed it – down to the cucumber slice! I also used them for my day of coordinator package, and Ginelle also went above and beyond for us. We felt like she was a part of the family! If you are thinking of hosting a party or wedding, Savory is hands down the best! Our guests are still raving about the food.. and so am I!

We hired Savory Cuisines to cater our holiday party. The highlights were definitely the beef brisket and the chocolate cream puffs - but everything was delicious. One of the most important things at our parties is making sure everyone is well fed, and the portion sizes were planned splendidly. The servers were diligent and efficient and we didn't run out of anything (there are no leftover cream puffs but I believe that was caused by pure gluttony). I am also happy to say that the servers did an amazing job cleaning up –this was a huge bonus. I'm grateful that Savory was willing to work with our budget, because the catering and service was superb. We will be using them in the future. I would recommend Savory Cuisines to anyone planning a catered event.

We have used Savory Cuisines for several years at work and we always get excited when they show up. The food is just so good! So when we were planning my dad's 80th birthday party, calling them was a no-brainer. Not only was the price very reasonable, but they were totally willing to work with us for a custom menu. Keri and Gemma are just fantastic and the chef absolutely nailed it! Everyone at the party kept commenting how amazing the food was and I ate leftovers for three days straight afterwards. We wanted a southern style meal (my dad is from North Carolina) and they could not have done any better. Hands down the absolute best biscuits and gravy I've ever had, the fried chicken was moist and flavorful with a perfect southern-style crispy crust. The four-cheese mac and cheese was probably the hit of the party (weird, right?), and the collard greens beat anything I ever had growing up in Georgia. The setup and pickup were easy. I just can't say enough about how awesome our experience was. Thank you Savory!

Savory stepped right up to the plate and created a menu just for us. The food was delicious! My cousin, who has been to too many weddings to count said it was the best wedding food she had ever had! Plus, even the native Persians in attendance were even raving about it (which is a very good compliment!) Emily, Samantha and all the other employees were very professional but kind and down-to-Earth and were a joy to work with. I really felt like they cared about our day and us as people. There wasn't a single task they weren't ready to take on! Their food and options were incredible! So many of our guests went out of their way to tell my (now) husband and I just how delicious the food was and how awesome our dessert set up was! Next to their amazing food, their "Day of Coordinating" is what stands out the most to me! Detail is so important to me, and Samantha and Emily knew just how much the little details meant and went above and beyond to make sure even the littlest of things were noticed! Savory Cuisines and Emily and her team were incredible to work with and provided excellent food for our reception. From the start Emily was so great to work with. We changed our menu cuisine several times to fit within our budget and she was always very responsive and gave us a new option every time we asked. Once we settled on the menu, she did a great job customizing the food to fit with what we liked and envisioned for our guests. The tasting appointment was very helpful and she really helped us nail down exactly what we wanted. On our wedding day her team was AMAZING! They set up our buffet and presented the food beautifully. They were also incredibly helpful and kind to all of our guests. We also appreciated that her team took time to help with other details like finalizing some centerpiece details and setting up our dessert table to look wonderful. They also took great care of my husband and I. They came to us first thing and asked what food we wanted and served us first to make sure we had a chance to eat while everyone else was getting their food. They were very attentive and made sure we were well fed and had drinks the entire night. We received so many compliments on how great the food was. We literally had one guest say: “normally catered food isn’t very good, but this meal tasted so good.” I think that’s really a testament to the fact that Savory Cuisines takes great pride in the food they provide and it really showed at our reception. We also greatly appreciated that the catering team put together a take home basket of food and dessert for us to take to our wedding night hotel. It was so thoughtful and was really nice to have a little snack after a lot of dancing. They also packaged up all the leftover food and had our family take it home. This was a huge bonus and it really showed how much they value serving their customers. Savory Cuisines is an amazing catering company and they gave us 5-star service from the very beginning. I would highly recommend Emily and her team for any catering needs, if we ever get the opportunity to use them for a different event we absolutely will. Thank you Emily and Savory Cuisines!

From our first meeting on, their event coordinator John and their chef/owner Bob were understanding of our needs and helped to develop the perfect menu that worked within the constraints of our budget. Leading up to the event, John was great to work with, providing fantastic suggestions and making sure everything was thought out and well planned. He took the initiative to help us find ways to cut costs while still offering an exceptional meal. When a dietary restriction arose the week of the event, they went above and beyond to accommodate our guest’s needs. We honestly can’t say enough good things about the team at Savory: the food was dynamite, the staff was extremely friendly, and overall they were an absolute pleasure to work with. 7/28/2017 NEW EXPERIENCE - NEW REVIEW My husband and I went to the CU Shakespeare Julius Caesar show this past weekend, and we were given the opportunity to try Savory Cuisines again (see previous review and response). The owner, Bob, graciously treated us to complimentary pre-ordered dinners. I am pleased to say that our second experience with Savory Cuisines was OUTSTANDING! We had the Tuna Poke Dinner and the Mediterranean Chicken Kabob Salad with chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies. Enough cannot be said about the Tuna Poke Dinner. It is DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend everyone order this dinner - high quality tuna, large tuna cubes and a wonderfully flavored dinner. The Mediterranean Chicken Kabob Salad was excellent. The chicken was well portioned, cooked perfectly. Overall very satisfying. The cookies were a sweet end to the meals. My wine was poured (as well as others I noticed) with an amount equal to the value. Lastly, we had a chance to try a chicken empanada at the intermission. My husband really liked it, and plan on getting those next time too! I am glad we had the chance to try Savory Cuisines again (thanks Bob), and have the same wonderful experience that other patrons have noted. 7/1/2017 Last night my stud husband and I, with our two teenage children, attended the Co Shakespeare Festival (Taming of the Shrew) on the CU Boulder campus for the first time. We looked forward to (as advertised) the light dinner menu, plus beer and wine, available by Savory Cuisines Catering. Our experience was COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTING. As served, my $8 glass of white wine was the end of the bottle, and gave me about 4 sips. The empanadas were totally unavailable, which left the menu options to a long list of sugary desserts, veggies and hummus, and a cheese plate. We purchased a lemon bar (delicious), a brownie (average), the hummus (overall okay) and the cheese plate (disgusting). The cheese looked and tasted as if it had sat out in the hot afternoon sun. If the University continues to use this vendor, I would communicate much higher standards of service and product availability given the high attendance of the event.

Wow, wow, wow, wooowww! Hiring Savory Cuisines Catering was such a great decision to make for our special day! We had our wedding recently, and have had so many of our guests since then tell us how much they loved the food -- especially the handmade mushroom ravioli! Emily, the coordinator, is just fantastic. From the moment we met her, we instantly fell in love with who she is as a person and her professionalism as a catering coordinator. When we had our tasting with Savory, we were SO impressed. It was intimate with warm lighting, PLENTY OF AMAZING FOOD, and even a bottle of wine for us to take home. Emily had a double screen up on the wall for us to edit and adjust our budget with certain food items in real time while we ate and laughed. Emily is just such a gem. We were so happy to have her help us on our big day, and she and the team did not disappoint. Savory was fantastic for my wedding dinner and appetizers. We chose the BBQ dinner with pulled pork, Mac and cheese, chicken, and all the fixings. I heard so many positive things about how great the food was. We also choose the bacon wrapped dates and artichoke dip for appetizers. We didn’t personally get to eat too much during the wedding but Savory packed us a “second dinner” for the hotel as well as all the leftovers to take home and those were all delicious. They were professional, punctual, and Emily was always willing to answer any questions I had. They worked with us to find a perfect dinner within our budget and we couldn’t be happier. They even decorated the buffet area a little with their own decorations and it was really cute! My husbands little sister with celiacs also really liked the gluten free buns they had available for her which was great. Overall a really positive experience with them and that is SO important for wedding food.

Savory Cuisines, led by Bob Sargent and his mighty team provided a delicious and creative plated meal experience for our Women Who Light the Community event in June 2014. They also had stationed appetizers for a pre-networking party and served a variety of desserts for post networking event. Over 95% satisfaction reported on our staff, committee and member survey! This meal was beautiful in color, hot to plate and very tasty. The staff had to work around tight, crowded spaces and they were excellent. I would highly recommend Savory Cuisines for large scale and even your smallest corporate meeting. Bob and his team are so passionate about his work, he makes it fun to plan an menu! I've been to their kitchen in full action and it sounds like a musical production of the busiest chefs around - they are remarkable!

I preordered a meal for just before the Shakespeare play I had tickets on July 1st. It was absolutely the best mushroom I have ever eaten. Smoked with a basalmic vinigret dressing and feta cheese. Are it while sitting on the lawn outsider of the theater with my son. The best way to get a meal before a play. The people were great and I feel like I know them now. But the food was far and away the best salad I've had in ages. Buy from these kids, and you won't be disappointed. Five stars.

Savory Cuisines Catering has been my "go-to" for any catering wether 5 people or 300. I have probably used them at least 30 times in the past 5 years and will continue to use them as they are easy, helpful, and professional to work with - not to mention the food is top notch with SO MUCH variety. Ordering and invoicing are easy and they handle delivery, set up, and clean up so the entire process flows and keeps the work for me at a minimum! I also appreciate that everything is labeled on the buffet so people with allergies can avoid whatever they need to avoid. Ordering or creating a menu that suits many needs has never been a problem since they cook all kinds of cuisines and make everything fresh. I highly recommend. They are just lovely people.

Savory catering was far and away, the best tasting catering company, while also providing incredible value and professionalism. My husband and I came across Savory through our wedding venue, Lionsgate. After several other caterers, we decided to give Savory a try. Immediately upon arrival we knew we had a company that was a cut above the rest. We had attended several other companies who despite what menu we told them we were interested in, gave us samples of their top dollar cuisine, which was nice, but nothing that we had asked to sample. Savory asked us what we wanted to have at the wedding (a Taco Bar) and when we arrived, the owner and head chef was making us... A Taco Bar. It was quite refreshing. The food was amazing no matter what the course was, salads, appetizers and entree were all outstanding. We tried their Ghost Pepper salsa and I was in love! I asked if I could have it at the wedding and they were more than accommodating to make sure it happened. We signed with them before the night was through. In the months and weeks leading up to the Wedding, they were always in communication, and always available for questions and some last minute changes. At our 2 month out meeting with the venue, they even sent a representative to make sure they knew the ins and outs of our day. When our day arrived we half expected something to go wrong, as everyone always says that it would... But when it came time to sign our wedding license, there were two plates of food ready for us to snack on before an hour of photos! Awesome! When we arrived at our dinner table they hand delivered us our meals so we could focus on actually enjoying our wedding food. Everything was exquisite, and our guests appreciated how the entire affair was handled. We couldn't have asked for anything more. When the wedding was done and the dust was settled, we left for our wedding suite and Savory had packed ToGo containers of our wedding food to feast on for days to come. Savory was the pinnacle of professionalism, timeliness, communication and taste. We would not hesitate to use them at an event in the future, and will gladly tell anyone in need of our amazing experience with them. Thank you Savory!

Cat was fabulous and worked with us every step of the way (holding our hands and asking questions we didn't even know we needed to be asking). Even with planning for months, things change on a dime and the friendly and professional crew at Savory Cuisine were able to make miracles happen day of the event (they even shared their work space at the event so that I could do last minute flower arrangements). Their attention to detail and the care they put in to everything they do is very evident. Not to mention, the food was to die for! Save room for desert because the cookies are not to be missed. I was driving by this catering company to drop off gifts to Share-A-Gift this afternoon. There was literally a 'hole in the wall' where you could order food from the catering company. I love finding little gems like this tucked away and couldn't resist trying the take-out window. Gladly I was not only impressed but overwhelmed by the quality of glavor! I ordered the Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich. The owner, Ryan, said that they marinate the pork for 12 hours before cooking! The sauce on the sandwich was a creamy base with sriracha spice. To really get your taste buds rolling they added an Asian pickled slaw! WOWZA! I had to sit and eat it in my car instead of taking it home because it was to tasty to put down!

I use Savory for our weekly office lunches. The quality of service I receive from everyone in the organization is outstanding. Their corporate menu has fantastic variety - we have been using them for over 3 months, 3 lunches a week, and have not had a repeat meal yet. They provided a second tasting for her while she was reviewing the "finalists," and also gave me and my husband a tasting when we arrived in town a week before the wedding. Needless to say, they were highly accommodating and went to great lengths to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted, at a price we could afford. In addition, because they are a full service catering company, it made planning the wedding from out of state very easy and stress free as they were able to provide all the rental equipment, staff for the entire set up and breakdown, and of course, their invaluable experience in hosting large events with efficiency and expert professionalism. The day of the wedding proved to be nothing less than a spectacular event. From the Signature Drink (Homemade Cherry Lemonade with Bulleit Bourbon- we called it "Kentucky Bourbon") and passed appetizers during cocktail hour, to the green salad made with fresh veggies grown on the very farm the wedding was held, to the perfectly cooked fillet mignon with peppercorn cream sauce and juicy, tender chicken piccata and individually plated stuffed portabella mushroom veggie dinners, to the massive assortment of gorgeous desserts (including the all time favorite, chocolate covered ho-ho's!), the food was flawlessly presented, nourishing for the body and soul, and absolutely gourmet quality. The guests were raving, including several who said it was the best food they have EVER had at a wedding. We were blown away, from start to finish, and we would highly recommend them for any occasion. Savory has some of the friendliest staff members around! I have worked with them on many different events as I work at a venue in downtown Boulder. Their food is great and you can't beat their price point. Service is wonderful and they are truly a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them!

We had food from here while at the Avery Brewery. Fantastic! I had the best Cuban sandwich I've ever been served. My wife had the Hummus appetizer and said it was perfect. We'll be back the next time we're in the area.

We ordered the picnic dinner from Savory Cuisines for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. It was delicious! I had the tuna and it was so flavorful. The portion was so generous that I couldn't even finish it. We will definitely do this again!
