You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is very good, and it is founded on a high number of opinions, so we can be quite sure that the assessment is quite credible. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write evaluations when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

Great Bloody Mary's. Good food. A bit off the beaten path.
Food mediocre with small portions and high prices.. the food also took a long time to arrive. Granted, it was a busy weekend and they only had a few employees.
Great green chilie
This place was awesome! The food was wonderful and the staff was great! One of the staff, Casey P. recommended the French Toast - they have a special touch when it comes to French Toast. You won't be disappointed - order it with a side of bacon - YUM!! Met Barb, the owner, while I was there. Go by and enjoy, sit on the deck and take in the surroundings while you have the best meal around. AND, breakfast is served all day!!
More Fritos than lettuce on my salad. Not much to it. And this salad plus one beer was $25! I know it’s a resort, but that canned beer was $8!!!
Excellent breakfast in Keystone. Mimosa's are great too in morning before skiing.
Great place for breakfast and lunch in River Run Village. Waffles, Eggs, paninis, soups, salads, chili. Cool music and decor too.
great prices on breakfast
Great spot for a bite in Keystone! Love this funky spot, great food - my favorites are the panini's - and the best prices on beer in Keystone hands down. Happy hour $3 beers for everything?? And a Bloody Mary bar? Great place to grab a bite for breakfast or lunch, and good spot to enjoy aprés after the slopes.
Laid back and delicious. If you're OK with bussing your own table, come over and get good food at an unexpected good price.
Cheap beer, good tunes (RJD2, Amplive, etc.), this is definitely where Ill be going from now on.
Said they would open at 7:30am. It's now 9:00am and I'm going home with no breakfast. Ok good when employees show up to work.
The cafe was phenomenal, and the service was impeccable. Would highly recommend and think anyone would appreciate the chill vibes. Pannis are awesome too!
Ok.. I am in Florida.. my son was getting married in Keystone and I had to host the rehearsal dinner. It was a challenge doing it long distance and I was worried until I found NEW MOON CAFE!! The owner Barb and I worked via email and it turned out to be a HUGE success! We hosted over 60 people and had a fantastic selection of Panini's, Salad, Homemade chips and salsa, hot pretzels with cheese, home made desserts and a wonderful selection of wine and beer along with mixed drinks. We had the entire place to ourselves ( inside and great patio) and a terrific guitarist (Todd) who played throughout the night. Now I have hosted parties.. my daughter got married at the Ritz but I have to tell you everyone had a fabulous time and are still raving about Barb's fantastic staff and the fun they had! I hope that anyone who is considering hosting an event or just stopping by check out this wonderful place. It will forever be a part of our fondest memories!
Perfect for working, meetings, lunch, coffee. Menu had a healthy slant including dietary restrictions (gf, vegan, veggie) and is all good. Interior was redone semi recently and is much improved.
I'd give this cafe 6 stars if I could. The food I've eaten here is extraordinary. They also have lots of vegan options and a excellent espresso bar.
Love their atmosphere and their juices!
The food is pretty good and the atmosphere is nice. There's almost always an open table. Juices are really tasty. The monster cookies are amazing. I give the three stars because every time I go there they are out of an ingredient for whatever I order. Last time it was spinach.
One of my favorite places to grab a tea and read a book
Delicious food! Also very accommodating to allergies with a friendly staff who are happy to help. (And located in a beautiful building!)
Straight espresso two separate days were pulled the way they should, high quality machine, trained baristas. Purists rejoice. Gluten free scone pretty tasty, two of the "raw" gluten free cookies even better (choco, PB, oats, sweet/buttery), and gf vegan blueberry muffin were excellent. Counter servers super friendly, helpful. Huge inside space, lots of seating with long counter high top bar with plugs for devices. Two small tables outfront, sidewalk.
I love this space and the delicious food that compliments it all!! The food is so fresh and when served it always looks so pretty. I was introducing a friend to this spot for her first time and unfortunately the food took longer then it had in the past. There was a steady flow of people but by no means busy. I guess everyone is allowed to have an “off” day with timing.... the food and atmosphere were still exceptional! I love ginger and tried the ginger iced tea... it was intense. I felt it could have been watered down a little
My go too coffee/breakfast/work spot in Burlington but what happened to breakfast!? The remodel looks great, coffee is solid, but the scrambles are all gone
BEST CAFE IN BURLINGTON. The WiFi and coffee are amazing. Tons of seating, outlets and great baristas. Highly recommend!!
Nice place. The lighting can be a little dark, but has some of the comfiest chairs in Burlington and the food is decent.
The people at the counter were very friendly and helpful! Atmosphere was nice and calm. It was a nice cool temperature in there. I really liked it! My tea was great too!
Great place to chill with friends. Grab some grub. Sandwiches and coffee are amazing for such great prices. Lounge and enjoy the free wifi and feel like your at home. Staff are amazing as well.
Useful space for a breakfast meeting, although it gets noisy by lunch time... but how does any restaurant consistently burn scrambled eggs? Most of their breakfast menu revolves around eggs, and If I could ever get a scrambled egg that wasn't browned to the edge of blackness, this place would be 3.5-4 stars.
This coffee shop is satisfactory. Despite being extremely laptop friendly with many outlets, the service is unfortunately poor. On two separate occasions they gave me a number to go sit down and wait for iced tea. One of those times I waited about 20 minutes to find out they forgot to make it. Another time they sat a cream matcha iced tea on the register for me to find in a creamy melt puddle 20 minutes later. Another time I asked for a hot tea (trying to outsmart them). I waited diligently for it at the counter (holding my table number in hand). They gave me a half filled small mug with the tea bag intact dropped into the water. They couldn’t even bother to pull the string off the teabag, so bag retrieval later was relatively painful! I will continue to wage the Iced Tea War because spacious and friendly coffee shops in Burlington are hard to find. Update: I tried the oasis smoothie and it was pretty great despite the expense.
Delicious coffee, great food with especially good flavor combos, and great environment
Great breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Burlington. The staff is super friendly and the food is great. One thing in particular that is worth mentioning is that this place has the best chocolate chip cookies around - I highly recommend. Another interesting thing to note is that they will be closed for the next 2 weeks to complete some remodeling of the restaurant.
Great coffee and cozy atmosphere. love the fireplace. It can be hard to find a seat at busy times.
Good, mostly organic local food, excellent soup, great coffee and delightful staff with a bit of sass
Beautiful restaurant and hang-out place that fits any customer! The owners are amazing and allow usage of their other facilities for tons of other events! Simply put, New Moon rocks!
New Moon Cafe is such an amazing place with a wonderful heart. Each month they host a dinner for the homeless and treat them with so much love. This place is so great and the food and coffee is amazing!
Staff have rude and pissy attitudes... and no music playing? Whats up with all the memorabilia? Portion size not comparible to price. Dirty coffee mugs. Next time ill pack a granola bar instead and go to starbucks for my coffee.
Great food, awesome staff and always has rocking music!
Good food and friendly service, but the music can be so loud it can be tough to have a conversation sometimes.
Great breakfast food at reasonable prices. Warm environment.
Great place for lunch in Keystone
This is sort of like a snack bar. You order your food at the counter and when your order is ready you pick it up at the counter. We had a giant pretzel and it was delicious the restroom was very clean and the staff was courteous.
The portion and quality combination is unbeatable. Every single thing we got (party of 4) was DELICIOUS and perfect lunch before hitting the slopes. There was a build your own Bloody Mary bar which we thought was unique. My mouth will water at the drop of the hat anytime I think of this place. Service was just phenomenal, sweet hard working people here. I hope they get paid well because they certainly deserve it!
Food was ok. Ordered huevos rancheros for breakfast and was underwhelmed by the quantity. Would look around elsewhere for a good breakfast.
Okay food, but it was overpriced. Raw potatoes in our burrito and hair in another burrito sure didn't leave us with a great feeling. But if want a bottled drink, this would be a good place for you though.
Great happy hour after a day of snowboarding
Fantastic panini found here...
New Moon is a sweet spot with great food and an awesome happy hour. Quick, friendly, delish.
Great atmosphere, great music, great drinks, great food, and super awesome staff!!!
Great place to kick back and relax. Very friendly staff and a good choice of food for skiers that are hungry (or thirsty). Several choices of hot drinks, both spiked and not. Healthy options like the fruit dish with lots of fresh bananas, strawberries, etc. Scrambled eggs and bacon a good choice. Eat inside or on the patio.
The younger woman behind the counter is super helpful and friendly and the food she made for us was more than adequate! Giving only four stars because the middle-aged woman there was not helpful and really not too friendly, in my opinion, and seems to have gotten a bit too comfy with the self service for customers platform.
Had a welcome party hosted here the night before a wedding. Food was awesome! Paninis, bruschetta and even the huge chocolate cookies were amazing! Inside/outside space great for hosting private parties.
Really slow. Come here in the morning if you want to get on the lifts late.
Lots of space, great service, and delicious food
Tons of seating, a fireplace, great service, and even better food & coffee. I highly recommend this place!
Excellent food and a happy atmosphere! The best for reasonably priced food in a casual setting!
A great cafe for nomads! Very laptop friendly. Lots of space and fast, free wifi. Food is pretty good.
The egg mishmash dishes are delicious - I recommend the vegetarian version with multigrain bread. Open, casual atmosphere in the back where computer users camp out. Great service but a little confusing ordering in two different lines.
It was such a beatiful atmosphere. Amazing food. I will go again and again!!!
Food is good so is the coffee. Staff very friendly
The new decor is so hip and modern, while still being comfortable and cozy! The maple latte was the most delicious I've ever had and the sandwiches we got were delicious! I highly recommend the Bacon Date Melt and the Roast Chicken, Cranberry, Toasted Almond Wrap.
Trendy cafe. Decently priced typical breakfast food. Nothing that knocked my socks off but solid place if u dont want to wait to eat
Nice place, good food, service is "ok"
Nice big place. Converted warehouse with lots of seating. Good selection of food, drink and desert with some vegan options. Food, desert and espresso are good, but not outstanding.
Looks small from outside, but very large inside. Plenty of seating. Loved the decor. USB and outlets everywhere to get a quick charge. Food took a little longer to come than I would have liked, but it was a busy Saturday morning. Smoothie was bomb. Food was fresh and tasteful. Would highly recommend stopping in.
A very cozy breakfast spot. The corned beef hash is incredible! This will definitely be my go-to for breakfast when I visit Burlington again.
Kinda expensive for what you get. Food is only slightly better than average. Lattes are mediocre.
Very tasty sandwiches with lots of interesting flavors. The vegan and vegetarian sandwiches actually turned out to be better than grilled chicken sandwich. The service was pretty quick, the staff was friendly and the coffee was delicious. The price is a bit high but the ambiance is nice.
Delicious espresso drinks and the food is vegetarian friendly and very yummy - bit expensive, but it's in the heart of burlington
Delicious cafe with many vegetarian options and refreshing pressed juices. Prices are very fair for the amount of food you get. Pleanty of seating with great local art hanging on the walls and a warm fire place area with big cozy couches.
I love the food but the counter staff have such a bad attitude. In particular the young man with black hair. He is so cold. Love the food but not worth going in and dealing with someone else’s attitude problem.
Fast and efficient service. I hope the employees are well paid.
Excellent coffee, good ambiance
A truly unique place to eat.
Very nice large Cafe. Good selection of salads and sandwiches, but I went mainly because of reviews that mentioned it's a good place to go solo, and bring a laptop. The salad was slightly disappointing with very little bacon and no turkey, but when i reread the menu it said turkey bacon, not turkey and bacon. I'm on a keto diet so I look for meat options and this didn't do it, but my fault. The espresso was delicious, strong and bitter like I like it.
Good food, cool atmosphere, wish there were more GF and vegan options
Cute little trendy joint. Certainly worth a visit :-)
We ordered on a whim and were extremely happy to have done so. The place is gorgeous inside and the space itself is unique, cozy, and really different than other spots in the area. Large seating area inside and spaces near the front where a large opening to the outside allows you to enjoy both comforts. The food was great, I had a Cobb Salad and was very pleased. The menu is vast and will allow you to find something you will enjoy. Great date spot!
Can't wait to visit this lovely location again. The food is top notch with many vegan and vegetarian options as well as good coffee. The gender neutral bathrooms are another, much appreciated, plus.
Delicious African tea, vegan gluten free blueberry scone. Mmmmm!
It's a comfortable place.
New Moon has great food, I especially love their salad bar and breakfast sandwiches. They are a bit pricey but nice for a treat. Also great seating and a wonderful place to read/write/study.
Great place to grab some breakfast before hitting the slopes.
Excellent more of a local feel
Tried sandwiches here based upon the other reviews. The panini were just OK, not great. Enjoyed watching King of Leon on the big screen.
Great restaurant, staff were friendly and happy to make alterations and omissions to menu items when possible. Excellent food for the price with a comfortable laid back atmosphere.
One of the only places in River Run that cracks real eggs.
$3 craft brews after 2 and cool music and vibe. Relaxed joint to chill
Bad customer service, very strong breakfast drinks and not good quality food.
Huevos Rancheros are great! Good vegetarian options.
The staff couldn't care less about how long you have to wait. We came in for breakfast and it was not very busy, so we ordered a couple of burritos. It took an hour.
The food came out very fast, it was tasty and the hot toddy was fantastic! If I'm ever back in Keystone I'll be back here for sure!
Decent cafe spot
Paid 78$ and that was including 10% discount and not even tip....that u have to walk up and order! If your from Colorado and understand how expensive it already it is without discounts for being local then having a horrible experience at a restaurant tops it! I'm not one to usually complain but at this cost I have too! Yes 4 sandwiches and a burrito were ordered, waited at least 1/2 hr. One got a sandwich the other was wrong! Then 20 minutes later 2 more and said other was cooking! Really uggg.... then finally get the other 2! At this point want to leave due to over a hour and mind u this is not full service!! We cant even get clean to go boxes@! At this level should be higher standards but I will do more by throwing it away and our money!!! Pisses me off!!
Sign in the window indicated the restaurant was supposed to be open, but the place looked like it was closed on my last two visits to Keystone.
As a local, this IS my go-to spot to hang out when I’m at Keystone. Food is delicious and hearty. Cheap beer, too, with a good selection, ranging from Bud Light to craft porters. I always bring my friends and family here when they’re visiting from out of town. Staff is super friendly and they make you feel at home. If I could rate this place six stars, I would. You guys rock!!!
Friendly people and good vibes, but just way overpriced for what you get. Very basic food for $10-15. My salad consisted of lettuce, walnuts, strawberry’s and apple slices. $14. They do have a great patio though.
This tucked away gem has some quickly prepared and tasty food!
I absolutly love this place. The people who work here are amazing. Foods great, drinks are awesome. Just hands down my favorite place. I will definitely come back
It took over an hour for our food to come out. The staff was extremely unapologetic about the wait. There were no potatoes. How do you run out of potatoes. Food was subpar. Breakfast food should not take this long to come out. I will not be coming back here again.
Good spot for breakfast and happy hour beers starting at 2pm.
Yum yum yum. If you want a healthy and delicious lunch this is the spot. Amazing salads, sandwiches and smoothies and a fun vibe.
One of the biggest "pluses" for me about this location might seem a bit strange at first so please bear with me. While the food is amazing, the location is convenient and the atmosphere is comfy and home-y, as someone who tries to be greatly involved in the community, I especially appreciate all of the ways in which New Moon supports Burlington (and our homeless population). From donating meals to local shelters to donating gift cards to those who might otherwise not recieve a gift the level of humanity ALL experience is incredible. Keep up the amazing work. You all make such a difference in so many lives (not even sure if you realize just HOW much!!!)
Awesome atmosphere. Great beverages and food well worth the price.
I ordered a juice, they have to clean the machine and it will take 20 min... “ok, give me a coffee” 10 min for a coffee, burned coffee... the attitude pretty disappointing....
Plenty of space, great coffee, lunches are substantial and well made. Great place to work for a few hours.
Good free sghetti and meatball free dinner every 3 sat of month
New renovations since my last visit. The cobb salad is SO good!
Iced espresso is my favorite in Burlington. Amazing place.
good, quick, healthy, simple. not insanely gourmet but not low rent icky. good food
Nice place to sit and do some work. The scramble I had was OK at best, but my latte was quite good. Service was mediocre.
This is a great cafe, and a very good lunch spot. The food choices are excellent, though perhaps though perhaps a tiny bit on the expensive side. The seating is abundant and comfortable, though it does get crowded, especially when the weather outside is foul. This is the kind of place where people tend to park for a long, long time, which is great for me when I want to relax all afternoon with a book, and annoying when I can't find anyplace to sit.
Awesome place to study or read. Tons of seating. And amazing food and smoothies
One of my favorite coffee shops, great floor layout with lots of open space and tables for open conversations. Great customer service too.
Delicious and affordable casual dining. Staff was very understanding of considerable dietary restrictions, and answered all questions with aplomb. Their iced maple latte was stellar, and totally won me over. Also - love their suspended food and drink offerings, and sense of commitment to community.
Seriously best cafe in Burlington!
Okay, I personally didn't love it, only because I'm more of a meat and potatoes kind of guy. But it's obvious that lots of people do love the food and the set up is very well done. Starting with the beautiful young lady taking my order and including everyone involved, I felt like they cared.
Awesome fresh food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. The maple latte is out of this world!
Great local cafe, huge quiet seating area with local artwork and a calm atmosphere. I love studying and writing here. For meeting with people, use the front. The back is a bit echoey and less private. Good local food. Good coffee drinks. Good smoothies. They donate to the poor and make a strong effort at helping the homeless situation. That said, they allow a lot of homeless the use of their facility in a way that promotes them hanging around on Cherry St yelling obscenities at women I know.
As a remote worker, I sometimes want to get out of my home office for a change of pace. Finding a coffee shop to work at in downtown BTV with both AC & WiFi was way more challenging than I thought it would be. New Moon Cafe is the best for having both along with friendly service, yummy breakfast, and great coffee! I'll be back for sure!
Quality local healthy AND delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. A worthy treat; It is more expensive than I can do on a regular basis
Pretty good pricing for the area. Food was relatively good. One of only places open early in the morning. Good place to go right before the slope and they have relatively healthy options.
Just finished breakfast at New Moon and will never go back. My breakfast bowl consisted of half-cooked potatoes, cold canned black beans, and a jelly-like green chile sauce attempting to cover it all up.
BAD SERVICE! We stopped in for breakfast and waited 30 minutes before we had to go up and ask where our food was. The person taking orders said ours wasn't even up. We still had 4 orders in front of ours. You will not get served. You will serve yourself. The place wasn't even busy. If you want to have your time wasted go there. Not sure how the food is because we left. I'm pretty sure people on vacation don't want to sit and wait for a simple breakfast for over an hour. And the staff was unapologetic. Very unprofessional!!!
Great service, great food, great view!
If you have all day to wait for mediocre food then definitely go here
Hours are consistently incorrect online and the business seems to open when they want to. Called the night of 1/13/17 to confirm they opened at 7:30a, only to find they decided to open at 8a the next morning. Staff kept glancing outside to see long line but wouldn't acknowledge us or make eye contact. Will not be back.
Very tasty meals. Comforting after a long day of skiing.
Been there multiple times over multiple years, wonderful food, atmosphere, people. Just a good time to come and relax and have a chocolate chip waffle.
Breakfast was microwaved and tasteless
The breakfast hot the spot!
Have good happy hour deals, good selection of hot drinks, and appy/snacks food. Pretty chill atmosphere. We stopped here after skiing/boarding all day to relax before driving out. Serves breakfast all day. Hours 7:30am-5pm
Opened 20 mins late on a Saturday with a line of people waiting to get in. Coffee = not great either.
Great breakfast with cocktails available!
Had the Bob Marley panini (which came with a bag of chips) and a couple of happy hour beers ($4). Good stuff!
The staff was not very friendly and the food was just ok. I would skip this place and try the other options in the village.
Bunch of burnt out potheads working playing maui wowie loud as hell at 8am. Time and place guys! Cook wants to be a dj more than chef...food mediocre at best.
Every time I’ve gone to new moon my food is prepared so lovingly and always incredibly delicious. The vibe and atmosphere of the place is so comfy and welcoming. I’d highly recommend!
Really good food. You can choose from their menu items or create your own salads/sandwiches. Their smoothies are amazing!
One of my favorite spots for a quick midwork day pick me up! The raspberry almond bar was perfect, not to sweet and the flavors were spot on.
Great coffee with a beautiful and welcoming interior making it the best spot in town to hang out and do work.
I had the Vegan Club with maple-soy tofu. Seriously delicious! I'll be back!
very friendlY to UnderPrIVIlged
This is a really great restaurant with plenty of food and drink options. I went recently and sat in the back and it is a very nice atmosphere and there is plenty of space between tables. I like they have a bar in the back where you can work on your laptop and enjoy their fabulous food. I have found the staff to always be very pleasant.
Cozy coffee shop with great espresso drinks and extensive menu. Got a tomato/basil/mozz sandwich and it was delicious.
I like this place a lot, it's close to my work, they have good creative food, oat milk as an option, filtered water, lots of gluten free options. I would give all that at least 4 stars...The service is SO hit or miss, people are friendly and helpful, but there have been many times where my order gets forgotten, messed up or just takes way to long...I can't help but notice there's a lot of socializing behind the counter, people on their phones, all that. And I get it, it seems like a fun work environment, but as a customer it's pretty annoying.
The remodel was much needed and looks great! I'm consistently happy with the food quality.
Good food, great place to work, love that they offer the "Suspended Meal" option to help others, just wish the coffee was better. It's fun when they open the big window.
This cafe is spacious, welcoming, and beautiful. There are couches and seating area in the front with even more tables and chairs in the back, perfect for a meeting spot for work or a meal with friends. The food is healthy, natural, and fresh. It’s slightly on the more expensive side, but it’s way worth the price. The smoothies are incredible as well.
This cafe has an adorable fireplace seating area and during the summer they open up the front to the outdoors. It’s such a quaint atmosphere.
Well, I'd like to say I could review the food here, but unfortunately I won't be patronizing this business. I parked my car in front of this establishment with the intention of getting a quick bite and coffee on my way out. I'd just come from a 4 mile run on the water front with my dogs. I just had to make a quick stop into outdoor gear exchange first. So, I left all my windows open (on a 50 degree spring day) , gave the dogs a bowl of water and some food, and headed off. I was gone less than half an hour. Came back to one of the employees taking down my license plate. When I confronted her, she made excuses. I assured her my dogs were well taken care of. She actually was looking in my windows and saw the water and open windows, which she commented on. When I asked why she was taking my license plate info then, if she could see the dogs were well taken care of and in no distress, she still couldn't come up with any good reason. I get being worried about animals, but this was at best harassment. With that said, uncommon grounds is fantastic and will get my future business.
Very nice interior. Good food. Many seats and tables available. Smoothies, deserts, sandwiches, salads. Price like any other good places
Having been to so many different cafes in more than 20 states in US, this is my favorite one. Feel so blessed and grateful! I will be back!!!
Ordered super energizer juice and watched them wash cut up and juice all the ingredients! Super fresh and delicious worth every penny!
Great spot! Super fresh food that satisfied my craving for a crunchy flavorful salad. Loved the tahini dressing especially. Large space with plenty of tables to sit down. Will definitely come back here on my next trip to Burlington.
I've been here probably a dozen times. Great environment for grabbing lunch, meeting someone for coffee, or studying (lots of tables in the back room). The salads are excellent (and enormous), sandwiches are good (but not quite large enough) and the breakfast items I've tried have been great too. Their coffee and espresso drinks are consistently well made, and I've never had any issues with service - usually prompt and friendly (it's counter service by the way, not table service). This would be a five star review except for the prices for the espresso drinks and sandwiches...I know it's a high-rent location on Cherry street but it's still a little too pricey.
All around one of the best cafe vibes in Burlington. It's one of the only cafe spots that has a lot of space and you can get a great selection of delicious food and coffee! Great place to meet someone or study. Love love! Also their breakfast is bomb.
The salads here are great. The last one I tried, the Eden, was wonderful (and massive!). There is a lot of seating for getting work done, but also lovely couches and more intimate tables for meeting up with a friend or two.
Happy with their service. I enjoyed my food as it was served faster than others.
Healthy reasonably priced food. Coffee and lattes with a friendly casual environment.
Use to love this place and had the best salads in town but no longer have a create your own. I was the only person in the store today and asked if I could and was willing to pay and they said No. Sorry not everyone likes the ones you designed.
