OMG the best My first experience eating polish food From the pickle soup to the amazing cabbage rolls to the in house made sausage a must for all to try
from the outside this place doesn't look like much, but it is great food. You will be glad you stopped in.
This place has fantastic Polish food. Pickle soup, beet soup, potatoes, kielbasa, all kinds of good stuff! I have never had a bad meal here and the service is great too.
Nice platter with kielbasa and pierogies. Truly stand-out service, though.
Great traditional food, relaxed atmosphere, family friendly.
Food was amazing and the service was excellent. Our waiter helped us with the menu and gave us delish choices. This place is highly recommended!
Today was the first time I have ever tried a Polish restaurant and I'm so glad I tried Cracovia. The experience and food was amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and delightful. The waitresses where so nice and professional. I'm glad to know how close this place is to me and I will definitely be returning very soon. Thank you for such a great experience.
Good food,good employees. Resonable price
The food was delicious and seemed fairly authentic. Our waiter was very friendly, though he talked us into a special platter that was more food and more pricey than we needed. There was some miscommunication about ordering an appetizer before the platter, which included the appetizer, so I ended up paying for even more unneeded food. Overall, we will be going again, but we will stick to individual meals as they seemed more reasonably priced for a more manageable amount of food.
I like this place. The food is tasty and the staff is very pleasant. My only complaint is the ambiance. It's a little too dark for my taste, but I guess that's their thing.
Some of the best and most authentic polish food I've ever had. The beet soup and potato pierogies are my go to. Nice family that runs the place and always great service. We've never really had to wait to be seated. They have a big dining area and they're kind of tucked back in the strip mall. Definitely a must try.
Awesome food! The Pierogis, Borscht, everything is so good! Kielbasa is so good that I bought some to take home. The Mielony pork patty sandwich is really tasty- seasoned and cooked perfectly. Lots of other stuff on the menu I can't wait to come back and try!
Good service and great authentic Polish food and beers. Will go back
Great food and a really big menu with lots of items that look delicious. Best pierogies I've ever had. Decor was ok but showing a little wear.
Great food and excellent service.
I cannot describe how happy I am with the food, service, and everyone at Cracovia. I planned a party of unknown size, and was accomodated every step of the way. Great communication and flexibility. On the day of the party, we planned for 12, but actually had 16 show up. It wasn't an issue at all. Our server did a great job keeping everyone happy, getting food and drink out, and splitting the checks. Not a single mis-charged item! The food was great as well. Despite a small kitchen, everything came out at once for 16 people in a crowded dining room with another similar sized party. They really pulled it off and made us feel welcome instead of an intrusion. Can't wait to get back and have a smaller dinner. In the meantime, if you like Polish food, I recommend it unreservedly. And if you need a place to host a party, call ahead and they'll work with you. Thanks Cracovia for making it easy.
Authentic and delicious! Friendly staff and eclectic menu with nice lunch specials. Hope to dine again soon.
Delicious Polish food. The soups are very tasty. Everything we ate was delicious, good portions and the deserts, wonderful.
Great food. Great service. Felt the authentic polish culture all through the food.
The service was kind, unobtrusive, and incredibly helpful. The entire menu looked delicious, but I can say with certainty that the kielbasa was amazing, so good that I bought some of the in-house made sausage to eat at home. Also, the dessert perogies are weirdly delightful, like tiny fruit pies. Definitely worth a visit!
I loved the perogies! The atmosphere was nice and the staff was great.
Many traditional Polish foods. Everything was tasty, but perhaps bland by American standards. Had the saurkraut soup and blood sausage for entree. Big selection of polish beers and vodkas. Very reasonably priced.
Yum!! We felt like we were back in Poland during our meal. We WILL return!
Pretty nice appetizers and a good throwback to getting Polish food in Europe! I also got a Polish porter which was really tasty, but then messed up by ordering roast duck, which turned out to literally be a dry roast duck on a plate. Protip: check out the superhip high school disco going on in the back!!!
I had high hopes for this restaurant, but it felt like I stepped into an episode of Chef Ramsey 24 hr restaurant makeover.
Great time, wonderful food and excellent service!
Excellent Polish fare, large portions, reasonable prices
For your knowledge: all breads, cheese, sausage and infused vodkas are made in house along with the spiced mustard. Right now a bundle (3pk) of house made infused vodkda is priced at $100 or $35 per ea. I recommend the congac infused vodka as it replaces several different liquers (bailey kahlua, tequilla rose, etc) and can be used as a drizzle on deserts or a flavored creamer in your nïght cap cocktail.
Amazing pickle soup, absolutely worth a trip in-
The food was very good. I had a new server that appeared to be working the dining room alone on the day that I went so the service was slow two items that I ordered were forgotten one was not prepared as requested and drinks were not refilled.
Favorite polish restaurant around! My friend and I come here anytime we want polish food
This place is a GEM. Fantastic service. Wonderful Polish beer and vodka selection. AMAZING authentic food. Come in a small group to enjoy the quiet ambiance.
Order the most popular plate and you gonna eat one of the best smoked sausages in a sizzling plate ever
Such a lovely meal. Great atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.
This is a lovely little place for a date night. Good inexpensive food. And I love that it's not standard restaurant fare letting me try something new.
Top notch ! Tried a bunch of different things and every single thing was remarkable! Will definitely be back again!
The food is great, the portions are huge. Prices are reasonable. The service was friendly and efficient
Delightful departure from boring old same stuff! Pierogies are excellent, kielbasa off the chart. I recommend trying something you've never had before. Service was wonderful!
Amazing food! Great place to Go! I will go back next time I'll be in Denver.
We headed to this restaurant for lunch today on a whim and had a good time. Neither my husband or I had eaten at a Polish restaurant in the Denver area before. The food was unusual (from our perspective) and very tasty. I had the beet soup, which was an unexpected treat, and the kielbasa with potatoes for the entree. The lunch was lightly flavorful and very filling. The price was reasonable and our server was attentive, friendly, and polite.
Slow, but very friendly service, once we finally got sat, 20 minutes after our reservation. Food is good, they have international beers.
Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Our server was incredibly attentive and helpful with suggestions and the food was amazing. If you enjoy great vodka they have a fantastic selection and the desserts were great!
Great restaurant, nice service and authentic Polish dishes. Try bigos and pancakes, pierogi (вареники) and borsht (борщ). Отличный ресторан.
Had never had true, authentic Polish good before. The server was really good in helping us decide the right dishes and beer to have, and the food was very tasty. Be aware, they do have events so you might want to call ahead and make sure you can get seated.
Very good food ... the soup was great. A lot of help from the waitress with ordering. The service was fantastic!
This restaurant is a wonderful gem! If you want authentic, fresh Polish food this is it! The pierogis are delicious. It was easy to find, has plenty of parking, and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend Carcovia if you're in the Westminster area.
I was not familiar with Polish cuisine but was blown away with the quality and flavors. I loved the family owned atmosphere. Our service was fantastic. Very good vodka.
Ordered the sausage plate and WOW! It came out sizzling and smoking still from the hot plate it was on but it was some of the best sausages I've had. Add the chef's spicy mustard and watch out for pure bliss. The sides were also quite delicious and I loved that there were a couple polish beer options to try. Great Polish restaurant!
I've missed good perogies, so when friends mentioned this place, I had to try it out. It did not disappoint! The service was attentive and friendly. The perogies were so yummy and so was the roasted duck the hubs ordered. We will definitely return to this little gem.
Haven't found anything on the menu that isn't great. Always tough making a decision!
Could not decide which item on the menu was best. Excellent flavors and great experience. Plus great service.
First time customer, with polish heritage, the food was excellent. The server was very polite, checked on us several times. The food did take some time to be prepared but if you read the menu, everything is homemade and it does state it would take an estimate of __ minutes to cook. Def would come back again.
Excellent food and service!!
Great good. Staff extremely friendly
I want to give a family restaurant more but three is appropriate.
Delicious food...welcoming greeting..nice and clean. Love the cabbage rolls...the pickle soup is one of my favorites. We have have never been disappointed coming here!
Went here with a group. I had reserved a space ahead of time and it was ready for us upon arrival. For an appetizer we had the smoked cheese, made in house, with pears. We all thought it amazing. The entrees were served at the same time with at least 6 different dishes. Everyone had plenty and all of it was enjoyed.
Best Polish food ever!! Just like my mom used to make. Yum!!
Locally owned Polish restaurant with some of the most amazing food in town. It's very unassuming - located in a little shopping area along Wadsworth. Go!! You won't be disappointed. Their potato pierogi (dumplings) are to-die-for. So are their homemade soups. The pickle soup sounds odd, but is particularly good. It's one of my favorite places and I bring out-of-town guests here all the time. It has amazing meats and loads of vegetarian options as well. Ask the waitress for guidance. She always suggests the best Polish beers and food.
Great experience, great service and delicious food. I would recommend anyone to come here and dine.
Wonderful Servers and Amazing Food!
The cabbage rolls were so tender and delicious. The perogies were wonderful, and the bowl of zurek soup was very good. This was my first time here, but it will not be my last. I look forward to my next visit.
Very good and so authentic, like eating at your families house. Loved the chef and the waitress! The chef was so welcoming and talked with us for 15 minutes. She was brilliant. Would go back for the dessert Pierogi every day if I could. Nothing like a meal like you are at home.
Food is delicious and hot and the service is excellent! We will definitely be returning. Awesome and tasty vodka flavors.
We were really looking forward to this. But after 20 minutes all we got was water from the hostess. The waiter looked straight at me and walked right by several times. So we left without eating.
Real food, reasonsbly priced and generous portions.
Great value for money. Kim was a wonderful server. She suggested pickle soup and it was wonderful.
So there once was a time where I was eating food like this as a part of my life. Those were good times . . .hard work and great memories. Those memories came back to me today eating here. This food is home . . .it's real as it gets. Do not be afraid of herring salad. . .pickle soup. . .beets with horse radish. . .these things will take you on a trip. . .it did for me.
I've been to Cracovia about three times now, but unfortunately have never taken a photo of the food!! I guess it's just too good to stop eating
The staff was friendly and the food was great!!
So good. The borscht was especially tasty. I had tiny pierogies in mine.
Not great, girlfriend saw a mouse
Pretty good overall. Felt authentic. Some of the food was maybe a bit bland, but really good sour krout.
Great sausage and dessert
We had the worst service at this restaurant that we have ever experienced. Let me list the faults because they are many. 1 Brought us the wrong beer order 2. Brought us the wrong soup, but we decided to eat it. 3. 2 out of 5 people did not receive there dinners when the rest were server. 4. After a long wait the server brought a one wrong dinner. so we had to cancel that dinner ands share our dinners. 5 Server never apologised for these mistakes 6. When she finally brought us our check encover. It was empty No check just a pen! 7. Then she brought us two guest copies of the check with no copy to sign. She then became rude and said we paid on credit card so no need to sign the bill and she said I know your not going to tip. I assume because she told us there was no manager so no one to complaint to. She could be rude. She really had no idea how to do her job. I can not believe they hired someone that will hurt their business because that is the last time we visit Cracovia.
Amazing Polish food. All the traditional favorites done right. And a kids menu too.
I have never had polish food before. Yummy. I had preconceptions about polish food and I was wrong. Thank God because I would have missed out. Must try IMHO.
Service and food always great experience
One of our favorite local restaurants! Amazing service and superb food EVERY TIME. We love Cracovia!
The perogies and kielbasa were amazing!
I've been here twice now. I've tasted at least 6 main dishes, and there has not been a single thing that hasn't tasted amazing. The pickle soup is my personal favorite. I highly recommend it. Even my husband, who is highly selective about what he likes to eat, really enjoyed it (he had the sausage and sauerkraut).
Birthday celebration for Theresa! Excellent food and cocktails as well as company.
Good selection of Polish beer, the wine selection was really good. Authentic Polish food. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was as expected.
Authentic. Delicious. Don't get the horseradish beets
Generous serving. Good food
Authentic polish eats and friendly staff.
We visited Cracovia's for lunch. My mother highly recommended the fare, and she was right! We both ordered the Gulasz (goulash). The meat was very tender, and the sauce had great personality. It was slowly simmered to perfection. The entree included two scoops of nicely whipped mashed potatoes. A wonderful choice! We also tried the Pickle Soup. No, it doesn't come with floating gherkins; rather, it's more like potato soup with a very subtle zing. I should mention that I got the "Kids" portion of Gulasz. I was not frowned upon, and found my portion large enough to satisfy my hunger. I shall be returning to this nice quiet gem, tucked in a small strip mall off 94th and Wadsworth.
Nice to find such a good Polish restaurant near Denver
Great food. Looks a bit like a dive, but differently worth trying. Jeff our waiter was great.
The Polish food is delicious. Love the apple pie dessert.
The best hands down
Very exoensive.
Everything was amazing, from the Polish beer to the beet soup and my entree of goulash. Polish crepes for dessert! This was a great find.
Really good Polish food.....
The food was great and our server was very nice!
I like th iij s place. I always get the stuffed cabbage!
Amazing Polish food, great service and nice ambiance. I'll definitely be coming back soon!
Food is great! However, I've yet to have great service. All the wait staff I've encountered seem very friendly and nice but they don't necessarily know the menu or are inattentive. Won't stop me from going back though because the food is good!
Really lovely, relaxed evening! Great ambiance, and a surprisingly great place for kiddos: a dance floor to get the wiggles out (next time, we'll ask to sit next to it!) and gracious servers and patrons alike. And the food was fantastic: best cabbage rolls I've had & the gulasc was delicious. Our pregnant friend really loved the pickle soup!! Kudos to our waiter, Mariusz!
Absolutely fantastic.. I am from Chicago and I will return to this location again..
Paid Way Too Much for Way Too Little - I was really excited to go to this restaurant because of the unique and authentic food. And, I did get unique and authentic food, which is why it gets two stars and not one. The service was horrible... just slow. Like, get up and get your own coffee slow. And then came the check. $3 is way too much for iced tea but to make it extra special, they charge that PER REFILL!! My friend paid $9 for 3 cups of Folgers coffee. Also, the deserts are very pricy. I paid $4 for a jelly donut. That's shameful... it certainly doesn't say "please come back" to me. Pass.
Out of the way and perhaps not the best looking, but the food brough back some fond childhood memories. So they must be doing something right.
We had a lovely dinner here. The Polish porter beer was delicious as were the pierogis (get them with the sour cream). It was a very fun and tasty dinner! We'll be back to try the kielbasa.
Food was good, but everything took way too long to come out.
Great Perogies, beautiful place, nice staff. We had a great evening.
Solid spot. Welcoming. Sausage. Goulash. Galabki. Went with a crew of grandparents and kids. Our toddler even loved the chicken nuggets, not always true.
The best place I been in a long time ,, the server the best ! food super !
Love the food, and the different vodkas. Always hot and fresh with great homestyle service! Highly recommend!
The best food and the best customer service I ever had. I will definitely go again.
Extremely loud karaoke during an expensive dinner, no thanks. Food is great, but atmosphere is loud, awkward and unpleasant. Unsupervised, ill-behaved children bothering our table. Embarrassed both times I brought guests here, it was like being in Chucky Cheesy's or an episode of the Simpsons.
Wonderful. Everything was delicious. The polish beer was fantastic. The entrees delicious. The desserts to die for. Even the condiments, mirza and sauerkraut were great. Romantic and very polish down to cartoons on wall. If you like polish food you'll love this. An
This place is. AMAZING!!!!
Must try the platter for 2. Spicy mustard is on point. Recommend the beet soup if you've never tried it.
Fantastic Gulash with Hungarian paprika. Jutta (pronounced: Utah) is a great hostess who is passionate about Polish food and great cooking. You don't have to be familiar with Polish food to enjoy the meals as we were guided through the menu and we got just what we wanted. Cheapest ticket to Poland we ever bought! We are definitely coming back here.
This place is great! It was my first time paying homage to my Polish heritage via dining experience. Cracovia certainly did not disappoint. We started with the smoked salmon appetizer, which my counterpart noted rivaled some of the best east coast Lox he had ever had. Truly exceptional! We also started with the beet soup and the pickle soup, respectively, at the recommendation of our server Jeff. Both were outstanding, and we loved the unique flavors. I ended up ordering the perogis as my entree, in spite of the many less cliche choices that I had on the menu. They have three types: cheese and potato, pork, and mushroom saurkraut. I ordered my entree with three of each kind, and I don’t know that I could choose a favorite! They were wonderful. I also brought home a dessert crepe for my significant other....I did not try it, but he said it was delicious! The ambiance and service were lovely, and I absolutely cannot wait to go back.
Excellent food! James our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable with the menu choices. Will be back regularly! Also the sell the mustard by the jar, so happy to be taking some home with us!
Great food, great service, great dessert!
Excellent food and great service. Was referred by a friend and he was not wrong. Will be going back when in the neighborhood. I had the homemade sausage and sourkrout. Very good all around.
Great service... And Amazing Amazing Food! Wish I could've sampled a bite of everything off their menu! Would reccomend to anyone - and I'm not even Polish! :)
About as close to my Moms cooking as you can get
Great food. Good kielbasa.
Best experience I've had in a long time. In taste, service and food. Chef worked double duty in the kichen and with serving. Great ambience and great music. Actually danced! Haven't done that before. Highly recommend, even for the pickest eaters.
This little restaurant is AWESOME! Their spicy mustard is so good we bought a jar to bring home. For fresh, authentic Polish fare in the Denver metro there's no where better to go.
Fantastic food, atmosphere, and service! I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy traditional polish cuisine. Everything about this restaurant is spot on and that includes the cost❤️
Amazing comfort food. Wholesome family owned resturant with a friendly staff.
This was the best ever. Being all polish and a two grandmas that cooked polish food. This brings me back to my childhood. The service is friendly and welcoming. I am from California and when in Colorado make this a must stop for duck blood soup like my Grandmas made. Pierogi just like they made too. Wonderful.
Excellent food! Even my picky children loved it. Whoever marked it as $ and not $$... We paid $94 something, including tip, for 2 drinks, 2 adult entries, 2 kids meals, and 2 desserts. Some of the things are not priced on the menu, so I was shocked when we got the bill. Had I known the prices, I probably still would have gotten the same things (because it all tasted awesome), but it would have been nice to know.
This place brought back childhood memories. It was as though my grandmother was back in the kitchen cooking. We had pierogies and herring's for appetizers. Enjoy them very very much. I had the duck blood soup. Taste just as I remember Grandma making it. I have been looking for a good Polish restaurant in honour of my father and Grandparents. I am sure glad they showed up in my Facebook news feed. Next time I go back it's going to be the blood sausage entree.
Great food with cozy ambiance. Enjoyable time.
I was planning on going to this place for months. Finally, We decided to go today. We checked the website. It said it was open and gave the hours. We drove 45 minutes from SE Aurora and when we got there, there was a handwritten note on the door they were closed all day for a private party. Note to owner: make sure you post closings on your website! Don’t inconvenience your potential customers.
Great food, pleasant and joyous atmosphere, a Westminster gem. The creamy pickle soup is a must!
Food and service were good. Would recommend it to a friend wanting to try traditional Polish dishes.
Everything was absolutely wonderful! The place was clean the service was amazing! The 3 courses came out perfectly timed and above all everything we had was perfectly cooked! I am a chef and it is not often i enjoy a restaurant experience in every aspect from start to finish. They do a great job! Will definitely be back! This place is Denver's best kept secret!
Great leftovers! It was worth the drive!
Wow! We stumbled on this little Gem and were blown away with the flavor of amazing dishes. This is now one of my favorite places to eat. Will definitely be back.
When trying out different places, one can never know if it is going to be good or bad. I'd like to say that this was a good experience for me. I had the smoked kielbasa sausage that was sizzling on a piping hot plate. The taste, texture and consistency of flavor was good throughout the entire meal. I also liked the mashed potatoes, the cucumber salad and the pickle soup.
Very good food, service was great. Casual atmosphere. We will go back
The food was very unusual and very good.
Service is a bit on the slow side. Food was very good. People were very friendly. Bar prices were very reasonable. Pierogi's rocked. Kielbasa, just okay. Would recommend
I loved the food and atmosphere!! I will definitely be coming back. I'm Polish and I love some good Polish food.
Very good food, generous portions, attentive staff, not many vegetarian options, but what they have is amazing. Pickle soup!
Not an expert on Polish dishes but I know what I like. Very tasty meal. Nice portions. Most excellent service and pleasant atmosphere..had an amazing after-dinner drink. A creme brulee Martini. A memorable experience.
The perogies and rosol were delicious!
The food here is amazing! The soups are to die for, especially the zupa ogorkowa! The pierogi's are.like what I used to get as a kid. Everything is wonderful, and the staff is very.kind.
Really good, authentic polish food. Staff was friendly and explained everything to the people in our group that weren't familiar with polish food.
Everything was wonderful. The service the food everything.
Good (not great) food and service but food came out a little more than room temp. Beet soup is great. I like that you can at least find something out of the norm here.
Food was terrific. Waitress was very upbeat and helpful with the menu.
