Horrible service! Called in a order for pickup at 5:33pm arrived at 5:45pm. My order was missing a salad I ordered on the phone after the girl confirmed what dressing I wanted. The girl added it on & said to wait. I saw to-go orders piling up at 6:15pm I finally asked the girl she said she was waiting on my salad that had been sitting there the whole time! I told the Manager & he said we can remake your order. What kind of option is that while I wait again? I asked them to remake the fries & I’ll microwave the rest. They were trying to act like it was my fault when they looked at the ticket the salad was written on the back. So frustrating! Waste of time & money! I won’t go back very disappointing. Staff definitely needs training!

Best wings in the west valley! Big,saucy and so tasteful. You’ll have to make a few visits to try all the flavors. Try the honey hot first. The service is great as well. Always a long line but they get through the long line pretty quickly. You guys need more tables though. Lol

To be honest I only left this review because the people at Shane’s told me I would get free food if I did. They did not honor this and I am left to scavenge for food in the desert now. Subway is my only option and the boneless wings were looking pretty good

Food is good but when I order over the phone they ask for your credit card number which is a little uncomfortable. When I go to pick up I wait by the pick up section but every worker passes me by without asking if I need help!? After a couple pass by I ask someone to help me and they go and check me out but I've witnessed multiple times in the kitchen the workers are eating fries off of people's orders that are about to go out! One of the main guys that works there usually at the register looks so unprofessional. He always looks a mess and doesn't have any type of good customer service.

I had Shane's for lunch last week on Wednesday with some coworkers. It was very very busy and packed with teenagers. I was lucky to get a table. I had a sampler with beans and slaw. It was very good. They had about 50 different teas to choose from. The Mango flavor. I also had some apple cobbler at the end of my meal and that was great. My only suggestion is y'all need more seating. You guys are so busy.

I love shanes but not their employees i had a really bad experience yesterday after we got water cups and we poured soda in them the employees kept staring after a couple minutes later on of the employee came to our table and started talking to us with a bad attitude that we had to pay 2 dollars for each cup we poured soda in after we were done eating we got up to pay and the lady came running to us saying that we needed to pay it felt very rude of herself to come running to us as if we were gonna leave without paying

If I could give a zero star, I would. Started vacay off at this "shack". We ordered and were told my husband's grilled chicken salad would take 20 minutes to make, well 50 minutes later (all while watching everyone who came in after us receive their food) we HAD TO FLAG DOWN, the "waitress/staff" and ask what was going on. Oh she'd "go check" on it, right.. Well she said oh it'll be out in about ten minutes. Yea because maybe it just got put in. I have worked as a waitress in food service and this, my friends who took the time to read this, was absolutely atrocious. No detailed ingredient on the menu, staff seemed put off, clean and cute "shack", and awesome location. I suggest eat somewhere else.

The chicken was dry and old the macaroni and cheese had a burnt Smokey taste. So the only thing i got to eat was there one side toasted texas toast cold sweet potatoes fries....but the sweet tea was the bomb...oh yeah if you advertise peach cobbler homade you should carry it! If out cover up the signs...P.S. Man next to me said the pork ribs was on point...I trided to alert your server with unhappy chicken she steared at me like she didn't no what to do.I told her to leave mines and replace my daughter's food. She did do that but she wasn't pleased. Maybe this can get passed down to management so proper training can be done... When there is a complaint try and replace it without getting a little annoyed..but the ribs was very good and the Sweet Tea was on point... Thank you..

Is it me or has this place been on the decline in appearance. I went to use their restroom and there was this stench of mold that I hope no one experiences. The decor looks like somebody took a piss on it, hung it outside to dry, and then put it up on the walls. I can’t tell who’s an employee and who’s a customer because there isn’t any uniforms. The only redeeming quality they have is that the overpriced burger is as messy as their condiment/drink counter. Do yourself a favor and just order to go, because hanging out here while you eat may cause depression.

Ordered Pulled brisket, and sauce covered the whole of the brisket. So over powering I couldn't taste the meat. Didn't ask if I wanted to have it tossed in with my meat or have it separate. Did asked my friend though. So make sure to be specific when ordering the brisket if you don't want it lathered. Way too sweet when eating. My friend ordered the sampler and that was enjoyable . He really liked it. A very generous portion for what we both payed for though, so no complaints there.

The food is pleasing to the palate, easy on the wallet, and comforting to the stomach. The portion sizes are respectable. The sauces are flavorful. The menu choices are sufficient to satisfy diverse ages and tastes. The seating at this location is a little limited, but we never didn't have a place to sit. Great experience.

Plave was really crowded but my husband wanted to try it dont think we are going back we went on sunday I thought the cashier guy was arrogant he never smiled and the way he spoke not just to us but to every single customer in front of us was not a good start my husband ordered the DAD sandwich my oldest ordered the 10 boneless with fries my next had 3 ternders and fries the two little ones had a kid tender and a hot dog meal and I wanted a salad with grilled chicken and as soon as I said grilled chicken he immediately told me that for grilled chicken it was gonna take like 25 minutes both my husband and I work in kitchens it doesn't take that much for a piece of chicken I was like fine I just didn't want to eat bread so we waited the food finally arrived and I thought everything looked ok but my salad had cheese and then I was like I need to get past this the chicken was cold didn't have any flavor and it cost me 30 minutes wait time plus 9 bucks my lettuce was black at the bottom of my plate I just ate like half my salad my kids ate most but we are not coming back to this place the only thing I like was the music that is it the place was dirty we had to clean our own table..no thanks

It was my first time going there I gotta say the ten hot wings and fires is very delicious and at a reasonable price. The service was quick if you don't go during peak hours on the weekends. The staff overall is friendly. Also sign up for the rewards app every visit guarantees free food or drinks so why not? Everyone loves free stuff.

The meat was dry, the sauce was greasy and the bbq sauce is not even bbq'y. I was looking forward to this but I was severely disappointed and will not come back, nor refer this place to anyone.

I had Shanes over the weekend. Like all the other comments on here. The line is a mile long and there is nowhere to sit....... but don't let that scare you off they get through the line very fast and the seating opens up frequently. My daughter had boneless wings and I had a Shack Sampler. It was very delicious. The customer service was great as well. The guy asked me if I wanted a box, instead of me having to go look for one. I will definitely be back to try something different soon.

Real BBQ enthusiasts don’t bother!! This place is not a REAL bbq place. Ribs are tender and sauces are not bad. However, don’t taste any smoke or smell any. I think these ribs are made in an oven. Brisket is pulled and sauced - again no smoke flavor. Potatoes salad tastes like it was bought in bulk. Ranch for my salad is not fresh homemade. Most people are ordering the Wings and it is busy so perhaps the Wings are good despite being served store bought ranch (who does that?). I could have had this meal at Furrs.

Best wings in town! So many sauces to choose from that you could eat there everyday of the month and not have the same sauce! My favorites are lemon pepper and honey hot! The ribs are pretty tasty too!

I am AKA BBQ Bill. I called in and after 11 minutes on hold bought two racks of Baby Back Pork Ribs. The staff was excellent in this visit. Contrary to popular belief, when the rib meat falls off of the bones, it is overcooked. Both racks were severely overcooked and worse yet, some ribs had dried out and were more like a jerky in consistancy. The sauce that came with was okay, but nothing special. I will continue my quest to find some place here in the Phoenix Metro area that knows how to make great Q.

If I could put it at zero I would. So let me explain what happened here... Recently one of my co-workers came into your location and had a bad customer service experience. The managers there did not want to help, they refuse to take responsibility for their employees actions and gave her a hard time. She has reached out to the corporate office and apparently this is a company wide problem. From the top down the customer service has been terrible. Our food was not ready on time, we went through the site and she was told that the site was not accurate. So, dont use the site if you want your food to be timely. She was told two different time when the order was received and when all was said and done, one of the orders of food was wrong. No apologies....no offer to help us and she was told by a manager that he was not authorized to comp. anything. AND no one has bothered to reach out to her after being told to contact corporate. ALSO, I see many reviews where this has happened to other customers. The excuse is that we should use another site but how are you to know that when the website takes you someplace else? Very poor planning and poor follow up on the part of the owner (s). For our part, we have a department of eight and from now on, we will not order from Shane's again. I enjoyed my food but what you put people through is ridiculous. With all the choices of food out there, Shane's isn't worth all this trouble. I for one will not eat there again knowing if they mess up that they will make you feel like its your fault.

Ordered here for a company lunch. They ask for the credit card over the phone but then wont process it unless the card is physically there even though they ask for the (3) digits on the back of the card. They take the credit card over the phone because if you dont pick it up then they can charge it (without the card being there) but when you actually show up they "can't charge it" without the card there. Makes no sense. Makes it really difficult when you are a business. We order lunch all the time and then have assistants pick it up. Its never been a problem until this company. Wont be doing business with them again.

No point of doing online orders if they start preparing your food when you get there? I set my order to 7:15 and my food wasn’t ready until 7:30. If you want to eat in reasonable amount of time, I guess you have to ask what's already cooked. Ordered a Burger and was told 10-15 min and she shouted Burger for them to start it, 30 minutes later no food for the whole table and when it did come, everything was like it came from under a heat lamp while they waited for the Burger to finish or something

The food was okay. I ordered the 2 meat plate (ribs and wings), French fries and baked beans. The ribs were pretty dry and tough and the wings, while tender, were saturated with sauce. Some may like that, but I like my wing sauce to be less messy. The prices are not reasonable as altogether my tab was $24 for one person.

I go to this place often and I normally have no complaints, BUT after today, I don’t think I would go back. Some friends and I placed an order online and I called to see if they can change my fries to onion rings because it does NOT give you that option online. I called literally TWO min after playing my order. I placed it at 7:20 and it said it would be ready at 7:45pm. But when I called I was told they didn’t have more order and I placed it at a wrong location. I pulled up my email on my phone and confirmed it was the right location. The lady on the phone then gave the phone to the manager without informing me she was getting off the phone. When I spoke with the manager (now 5 min with being on the phone) she also said she doesn’t have my order and kept telling me she was right and I was wrong. Not ONCE did she apologize for the inconvenience. I then asked if I can place my order over then phone and that I was almost there be and my break was only 30 min. She said “you can place an order when you get here, we aren’t that busy” when we got there it was a long line. I went to the from fontier and was told my order was already being made ( but on the phone they didn’t have the order) when I got there I told them I wanted onion rings instead of fries and paid the $1 up charge. It’s not 7:56pm I get my food and they have me sweet potato fries and not onion rings. I’m now really frustrated because I have to be back at school by 8 and I always paid and now have to wait for the correct order. Not ONCE during my visit did they apologize for their mistake. And their manager or owner (whoever she was) was rude as hell!

I had Shanes for the first time yesterday for lunch. I got there and the line had about 10 people in it. I thought it was going to take a long time because they only had one register opened . The guy got through the line pretty quick. I ordered a 2 meat plate with ribs and Cajun wings. It came out very fast. It was so good. I wanted to order some cobbler but didn't want to wait in line again but one of the guys took my order for it at my table. I would recommend Shanes to anyone and I will be back. The only thing I would suggest is to open a second register so you guys can get through orders even faster.

I have been here before and I really like the bbq wings but today i ask for my wings to go since my family was in another restaurant and I had to wait 20 min to get fries and 4 wings when it wasn’t even busy and the employees saw me there waiting and they wouldn’t even come to me to say it was going to take a few more minutes, when I finally decide to ask for my food( being the only person to go) a guy asked for my name and went to the kitchen and my food still wasn’t ready and told me I was next. My wings were really small and the salsa was super sour. I don’t make complaints because I work in customer service and food but to how slow they were they should’ve been better.

Writing this review while sitting in the restaurant. Bad from the start. The cashier was unnecessarily rude and unfriendly. Purchased chicken tenders, zero flavor unless I drench it in BBQ. No flavor in anything. Would not recommend, there are much better food options in the Westgate.

Wow I ate at Shane’s late last night. Crazy slammed with nothing but young children. My husband and I each had a two meat plate. I had ribs and brisket he had pork and chicken. It was so yummy. The macaroni and cheese is very flavorful. The Cajun fries hit the spot with jalapeño ranch. Service was great. Line was super long but we didn’t wait long. The food was ready very fast. I’ll be back next time during the day when there isn’t so many loud children.

The food is so bad they have to charge you before you eat otherwise people would walk out without paying. BBQ sauce tastes like it was made with toilet water. Ribs weren’t made properly, coleslaw was bad, I was too nervous to try the Mac and cheese, and that was just my order. Oh.... and they don’t have any limes for their Corona! My wife’s order was wrong. The chicken they gave her was dried out, and it wasn’t the correct flavor she requested. If you like your BBQ go find another place that actually knows what they’re doing, unless you’re looking for a bad time.....

No INTEGRITY!!! For the past 7yrs this location has the same problem. Talk about needing new management and employees.Upset customers , young employees With NO INTEGRITY SHAMEFUL..DISRESPECTFUL It's unfortunate that a place Misleading customers,and employee blaming the customer for there own mistakes. On 9Nov18 I had called this location prior to make the trip out. The info that the young employee given false info and when confronted she denied ever saying that info. Not happy with management handling the mishap in front of entire restaurant to observe. As well as feeling betrayed by the liar employee smiling in my face and manager not admitting that she was in the wrong. A SIMPLE apology would have corrected the lack of communication between staff and the manager. Not ever going to a place that has absolutely NO INTEGRITY. ..Negative 10 on Customer Service such a shame. Hope Mr. & Mrs. Thompson and the secret shopper don't have the same experience.

Their food is always amazing! I love the ghost pepper wings because they actually provide the spice. Other places would go lightly and then name it ghost pepper but not at shane’s. Although i like their food, their service is sometimes slow at the West Gate location and it takes a while to be served. Nonetheless I love their boneless wings!

I love Shanes! I was in there with my daughter for The Pink concert. The line was very long but they got through it very fast. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs and my daughter had boneless wings. The order came out very fast for how busy they were. The ribs fell off the bone! And the brisket was very tender. down right cold ! and not really bbq not authentic at all dosent have its own taste...mac & cheese was wack and beans are straight out of the can... i expected more from a buisness that calls themselves a rib shack .. where is Shane? he needs to go get some help from the real bbq places i.e (woody's bbq )

Our experience at Shane's was almost ruined. After ordering and waiting for 35 minute, we inquired about our food. We were informed that our order had been lost, and we were never informed. No apology was offered, but we had our food 20 minutes later. We were upset at this time. HOWEVER, the food was incredible. It was so good that we pretty much forgot about the terrible customer service we experienced. While we were there, we also witnessed another party who's order had also been lost.

Wow. I've been here so many times but never bothered to post because its time consuming. Here I am though. I had lunch at Shane's today and it was amazing. The Cowboy Burger is so freaking good. I wish it was Spicer though with some pepper jack cheese and some jalapeno relish. My cousin had the jalapeno wings I used some of his sauce on my burger and it hit the spot!!! You guys need more tables though. Gets packed pretty fast.

. We work near Westgate and used to only get here occasionally for lunch, but now it is part of the regular rotation. I now bring my family here for dinner even though we live a distance away. The staff is very friendly and engaging. The food takes a few minutes but is worth the wait! Everything is quality and hot and flavorful. BBQ is much more a learned art than many other foods, they have found their way. The Shaneiac burger is my new favorite, it is a great burger, cooked to order, with a generous helping of BBQ pork on top. They also have 4 different flavors of fresh brewed iced tea along with the normal soft drinks. They sometimes have a long line so we get there early. Good BBQ takes time! This definitely isn't fast food. They could probably move to a bigger spot in Westgate to accommodate the demand.

I went to Shane's Rib Shack for the first time on Friday night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had nice recommendations that we appreciated. We ordered the specials of the night, which were the grilled Teriyaki chicken and Hawaiian BBQ Pork. The flavors were really good, and the portions were generous. The atmosphere and vibes were very islander, which I liked. The reason for 4 stars is that the prices were a bit steep and I wish my 3 piece Teriyaki chicken was served with more than just a small cup of salad for $10.99 plus tax.

Very impressed. I took my mom to Shane's for lunch today. Ribs were the best I've had in a long time. The 20 piece wings are so big! most places have dinky winky wings these days. I wish y'all had more flavors of fries. The service was great. guy at cash got through a long line very fast. Also so many different teas to choose from. I will definitely be back to try the brisket. Thank you! mom loved it!!

Chicken wines were great, pulled pork was good, service was awesome . No complaints would go again and recommend it . the food was served hot and they have a great selection of ice tea. 2 stars for restaurant cleanliness. Floors had not been swept all day-lots of food on floor, tables had not been cleared, straightened and wiped, top of trash bins had lots of food on it and needed wiped down.

I went to eat earlier today and then later that day my husband realized he didn’t receive our debit card back from the cashier, he actually might have just lost it. Which wouldn’t make sense because when he called she even asked for him to verify the color on the card the design and the name and everything was confirmed correctly and out of nowhere when we show up she doesn’t have it. The reason I’m giving a one star is because my husband had called when we realize we didn’t have the debit card and the girl with pink hair answered and told us that she had it and was apologizing and when we get there and she rudely tells me that she doesn’t have it and is extremely rude explaining that she’s told my husband that she didn’t have it when she clearly said she did! the manager was really polite and got down my phone number in case the debit card showed up but I come from Mesa it’s a long drive for the girl in pink hair to be extremely rude when I get there never ever going back.

Gabby and Stephanie are always checking on customers. The food comes out steaming hot, my favorite dish is the 10 piece boneless with medium sauce. The atmosphere here is very positive. They have about 40 sauces to choose from for your boneless wings

The place was very busy and no tables to sit at. Bathroom door handle was broken and only had a 1 toilet bathroom so 1 person at a time 3 people waiting for restroom including myself. The food didnt have much taste to it. I would not recommend this place.

First time coming in here with my boyfriend Saturday after a recommendation. Waited almost 25 minutes for my wings and was happily served by a girl with braces and maroon shirt. She regularly checked on us that was very appreciated considering how busy they looked. Saw her carrying stacks of plates that were bigger than her and serving more than 4 plates! Our first time to the restaurant. There was quite a line when we arrived. You order at the counter and then find a table. Once we ordered the food came to us very quickly. The half rack of ribs were covered with bbq sauce with a lot of extra sauce under them,as well. The food was good. For myself, I don't like a lit of bbq sauce on my food. Next time I order I will ask for no sauce as I noticed there was sauce at the table. Glad we got there when we did as the line got much longer while we were there.

Biggest negative was that there was no soap in the men's room. The dispenser was completely missing. I'm going on faith that the employees had some soap back in the kitchen or something. The food was ok but had a mass produced feel to it. If you're looking authentic bbq, I'd go elsewhere.
