You have all the information of people who know the services of Pork on a Fork BBQ and Catering Deer Valley (Catering) around Arizona area.
At the moment this firm receives a score of 4.3 out of 5 and the score has been calculated on 827 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is very high, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we may think that the assessment is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to give tatings when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Catering is included in the category of Barbecue restaurant.
They were out of Pork, so we ended up eating pulled chicken. It was good also.
Most definitely the best BBQ in the valley. Make sure you get the sampler cause you won’t be able to choose. The zesty Mustard BBQ sauce was my favorite. The restaurant is a tad hard to find tucked away in a commercial type building and it’s pretty hot inside. Wish they would have turned the fans on! But for the food I give it 5 stars easy.
Great BBQ from a local business. Gets busy at lunch but worth the wait.
I love to eat here their food is always hot n fresh. Counter people are very nice. Customer service is excellent. This is a must eat at place ... love this restaurant.
Always a great place for BBQ! Hard to find spot, especially if you miss the little sign out on the side walk but plenty of spots to turn around, but we'll worth it!
Best barbecue in town end of story.
For my money still one of the best BBQ spots in the valley. Great quality, great flavor. There mac and cheese is the bomb! They're not selling ambience this is a hole in the wall joint. But the food we generally get the family feast and can eat of off kt for days, all of their meats are good but I love the brisket and wife loves the hot links. Really I haven't had anything there that I haven't enjoyed. Give it a try!
The Mac-n-cheese has real cheese in it and so delicious. All the food seems to have a spice kick to it which I love but others may not. The prices are spot on for us average middle class. My only issue was with parking, hard to find a spot. Right in front, next to Deer Valley Road is your best spot because along the building is reserved for other businesses. The location is odd, more industrial/commercial building.
So delish, really fast, casual dining. Try the mop sauce its awesome.
Got the 4 meat platter and was not impressed. Pulled chicken was good. Pulled pork was dry and the brisket was thick and tough. The sausage was ok but the slaw was more like a salad. I'm really wondering why this place has so many 5-star reviews...
First time at this place and will never go back. The food was on a scale 1 to 10, at best a 1. The staff was polite and that is the only positive thing i can say about eating at this restaurant.
The best BBQ in Arizona. The staff is fantastic too!
Not to good we ordered a big party meal patatoes weren't cooked all the way and the ribs were tough mostly fat no meat
Ribs were terrible, I went in today and ordered a half rack or ribs. First of all they were $15 for a half rack with no sides, then they were tough as rubber and had neither char or smoke ring/color. They not only had a boiled look but again were like chewing on a tire with no rub on it. They offered a “mop” slice that was like soy and teriyaki mixed, so a salt and sugar bomb basically. Employees were nice but I went there to eat not socialize.
Excellent brisket, pulled pork, and ribs with good choices of sides and several great sauces. Loved the quality of the food here!
I've been a big fan of pork on a fork since day one these guys are awesome for me it's the best barbecue in the Phoenix area. My major recommendation is the beef brisket but all of their meats are great. the location is a bit difficult to find but it is definitely worth it it's across from the deer Valley airport
Great people with Great food
Goid, was great menu was confusing and a bit expensive
If you like smoke, this the place. I sampled the pulled chicken (they use the thigh) and pork, as well as the brisket (well trimmed). The coleslaw was creamy and flavorful. My son tried the beans, and the mac and cheese. He really enjoyed his platter. My buddy added sausage to his meal. This is a legit BBQ place that you must try for yourself. The sauses were savory and good with two red sauces (one "hot" and one not), not on the sweet side. The hot was good, but mildly noticeable on the heat scale. And, that mustard sause was distinctly mustardy...not vinegary, for those who are the curious hard core Carolinians in search of the perfect pulled pork. There is an absence of seating up front. But, when you follow around to get your drinks, down the corridor the mystery is solved. There is a generous seating area in the back (still inside) with a high ceiling. There are a few flat screens and the atmosphere was great. Lots of friendly faces. We went on a holiday Monday for lunch and there still was a good crowd. I was so into my food, I forgot to take a picture to post. This place is about one minute from the Deer Valley Airport.
I was eating here a lot when they first opened and the ribs reminded me of Chicago (where I move from 6 years ago)style but somewhere over a 3 years the ribs stop tasting as good. Now this place is still one of the top places to eat from my opinion here in the valley but again to me not a great as it use to be when they first opened
Consistently good. Meats are always tender and flavorful without being too fatty.
Best BBQ I've had in Arizona thus far!
When I received my food I opened it and there was no bread for sandwich. When I called I spoke to Ashley and she was extremely rude saying she doesnt think its fair to get my sandwich. She told me I can go in and get my bread . That was the point of uber eats. My husband and I will never order from hear again. This deserve zeros starts
Tasty pulled pork with a variety of sauces and sides to choose from. The brisket is quite satisfying too.
Perfect BBQ tonight. The brisket was tender and juicy and the sausage had great flavor
The pork ribs are amazing ! Briskets are either really good or bad depending upon the cut. Friendly customer service too !!
Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. Delicious!! A little out of the way and in a random place but oh so worth it!!
Delicious food, wonderful staff, great prices. Definitely going back. Like it was our first time and it felt so welcoming, laid back and wow. I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE GREAT JOB Y'ALL!! ❤️❤️❤️
Very good Food. The Best
Great BBQ, Chicken, Beef, Pork never disappointed when i go
Great food. Good customer service however at our last visit they failed to provide BBQ sauce for our take out order. Even without sauce the pulled pork was delicious. It was moist and flavorful on its own. Also had the ribs which we equally as good if not better. Absolute must try!
We ordered the pork sandwich, beans and cornbread. I was really wanting to like this place but just doesn't compare to the likes of TheePittsAgain and Bobby Qs. But then Bobby Qs is like dying and going to BBQ heaven.
Best BBQ in Phoenix. Even better than Lovejoys! But for takeout they didn't shred the pulled pork and at least 1/4 was inedible fat. Just watch them when they make it though so you don't have that problem.
Absolutely amazing BBQ. I'm not a huge fan of BBQ, but I crave this place. So good, and the people who work there are friendly and accommodating.
Always great food and excellent service!
Very good bbq the only reason for four stars rather than 5 is that they are over priced parking is very limited and while the bbq is excellent the sides leave something to be desired.
Absolutely the best bbq in Phoenix. We've been here for 3yrs and this is the closest thing to real Texas bbq you're going to find in AZ. Love the Carolina mustard sauce, reminds me of home. Best of both worlds. Staff is fantastic, and prices are beyond reasonable. We got the sampler and my husband and I were full. They honor their military families as well. It's worth the drive across town no doubt.
Great food. Have to admit if you become a regular the cashier will hook you up. Very family style vibe. And they cater.
It’s kinda hidden between warehouses and the eating area is behind where you order your food. If you aren’t careful you’ll miss it. You don’t want to miss it. Good food. Great BBQ. Love the sauces. Waffle fries are great dipped in mustard sauce. Lots of meat. Great Mac and cheese love their beans too. Good for lunch, Date night, or a party.
Great Bbq good service simple not fancy
Out of ribs? Two times this year, in March and again in August, I was told I they were out of ribs at dinner time, 5:30 pm on a weekday. I will not be back. Ended up going somewhere else and the ribs were better anyway. I'll keep going there.
Unique place! The food was great and very reasonably priced. Will go back.
First time going here and certainly not the last. Very good food and friendly staff. The food reminded me of how Dickys BBQ does. We got the sampler platter which had all of their meats, all were super tasty, the chicken was super tender, just melted in your mouth. The mac n cheese was also yummy.
Pork on a fork is the truth, and I'm not just talking BBQ. Great place
Hole in the wall spot. Food is delicious. Service is exceptional. Love the European style seating. Mac and cheese is a must.
Definitely better than Shane's Rib Shack. Baby back ribs were wonderful. Mac and cheese on point. Only thing I asked for bread and got cornbread instead...but that's ok. Cause the cornbread was real good.
Great BBQ, great place to eat lunch. A little pricey but well port it.
A sad excuse for what is generously referred to as BBQ. A heap of desiccated pork on a bun with some sort of misflavored discount-store sauce. A substantial quantity of water was needed to choke it down. The tiny cornbread muffin was just pathetic, both in size and quality. The ambience was just south of a grade school cafeteria, with a dose of school bus garage thrown in for good measure. On the plus side, the sweet potato fries were OK. If you’re from a place that actually serves up real BBQ (NC, Memphis, Kansas City...) and you’re thinking you’ll get a taste of home here, be prepared for disappointment instead. There’s plenty of that on the menu.
Great flavors in the meats, and the brisket was very impressive. A little on the expensive side.
Best BBQ I have ever had. Who thought adding Mac and Cheese to a BBQ Burrito would be so good.
Very Good food, clean dinning place and country style ambiance. We had a good family time. Thank you.
Awesome place if you’re into cold, flavorless meat that’s impossible to chew. So tired of reading positive reviews about lousy restaurants. Stay away.
Awesome food and nice staff. Never disappoints and always leaves you full and happy.
Always great food and the employees make it an overall better experience
Great bbq awesome staff!
Great little hole in the wall place with top notch BBQ
Food here is excellent but choose wisely. It's easy to get carried away and really run up a bill.
Super food and simple, family like dining
Terrible service, forever delivering incorrect orders. Apparently it happens so often they have a rewards points program to compensate for errors. Ya no, never again.
Real good bbq. All the meats are delicious.
WOW!!! The staff the food everything is Amazing. Plus a ton of sauce's to pick from. So much good food . I left with a food coma. Can't wait to go back..
Their pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket and smoked sausage are all excellent, and their BBQ sauce is a great mix of BBQ flavor and a slight bit of spiciness without getting too hot. I recommend getting a combination plate so you can get a taste of each type of meat. Highly recommended for any smoked meat or BBQ.
Seating is hidden down a hallway, very unique. Portions are great size and great price!
Great service good food
GEAT BBQ and the fixens that come with it are killer!
Great BBQ and very good sides. I could eat there everyday!
Dee-lish!!! Love the brisket, that's our fave! Pulled pork is amazing too. Lots of options. Friendly people work there
Great food...loved the chicken and the sausage. All their sauces were excellent. The zesty mustard blew us away. The beans were out of this world, not to sweet and a nice peppery flavor. Can't wait to come back with the kids. Good amount of seating in the back.
Two stars for the great brisket and mac and cheese. Tried again last night after staying away for a while. Used to be a regular, but the service has always been sub par, though the food is good. Don't bother calling in, they NEVER have it ready for you. I won't eat there, the place is too dirty. Suggestion: don't pull the pork right in front of customers while you're making sandwiches at the same time, not a good visual at all, really turned me off. Slicing the brisket in front of customers is a good idea, pulling pork is just gross. And then making my brisket sandwich with pork fat covered hands/gloves is disgusting. The baked beans used to be good, with nice chunks of brisket and good bbq flavor. The beans i got last night were almost certainly from a can, with not a sliver of meat in sight, very disappointing. I want to like this place, but they need to improve customer service big time.
Really good barbecue in an industrial park that's a little bit hard to find but worth seeking out. Friendly and efficient counter style service with picnic style tables in the warehouse looking back area . Had a combo plate so we could try everything, I think the standout was the pulled pork- tender, juicy and perfectly done. Brisket was tasty but a tiny bit on the dry side, chicken was moist and tender, sausage was good and done just right. Ribs were pretty good, tender but a little dry . Sides were really good too, fresh coleslaw with a perfect light vinegar and mayo type dressing, not too gooey and sticky. The beans were tangy and well seasoned, and the mac and cheese tasted way better than it looked. Others had the Midwest monster sandwich with brisket and pulled pork, a huge portion and great when drowned in the sweet or hot BBQ sauces. everyone loved it and we will definitely go back.
Way better than Shanes. The meat is more tender and they have a better menu. My family really enjoys their food. I am a bit more picky but I would go back, no problem. Their sauces are good and the service is great. Better for a lunch place than dinner in my opinion.
Meat is cooked somewhat well kind of dry and bland, good barbeque sauces however. Overall it's one of the better places for BBQ. But with the menu selection, the counter service, and the attitude some of the employees provide I wouldn't come back here. Personally BobbyQs is the best BBQ I've come across in town. The main turn off is the service, the guy behind the counter was very condescending of questions we asked as first time visitors. And everything was delicious, but as far as flavor goes the sides and BBQ sauce in flavor and quality outshined what the main star should be which is the meat. Bottom line, overpriced for what it is, depending on who is working the customer experience can be poor, and the meat is better than most, still a bit dry but not a show stopper.
5 stars except the dining room was kind of warm and stuffy . Great meal . One plate fed 2
Good BBQ, quick service if you order ahead. Had a wonderfully delicious brisket sandwich.
78 bucks but the reAs Messed up my order. But did right by me and my family. I ordered the family meal. And added a half rack of ribs. By the time i got there the ribs were all gone. And Mike gave me and my son a soda. They did compensate us for the mess up. My confusion was paying 78.bucks, and the receipt is 64.05
Dry brisket, friendly staff, best thing I ate were the ribs. They boast about the pulled pork but it was just alright. Maybe it was the time of day I went but I'm on the fence about eating here again
Best BBQ I've had in a while
Awesome BBQ! Everything I've gotten is really good and whenever I want some brisket this is the first place I think of.
What an amazing hidden gem! A coworker brought me here and now we go once every couple weeks for lunch. The pulled chicken is fantastic, and the staff is fun and friendly.
Best BBQ in N. PHX. Nuff' said.
It's been so hard to find a good BBQ spot in Az, but child let me tell you!!!!.... The food was was so good! Sausage, brisket, & pork was so moist! The staff was very nice, helpful, & patient! This is the best BBQ spot in Az so far! This is place better than Lucille's & Dave's BBQ will most definitely go back!
The sides are not that great and you have to pay for corn bread or pick it for one of your sides. But the BBQ is awesome!!!!!
Overall the best barbecue I've had while living in Phoenix. I had the deluxe sampler. Brisket seasoning overpowered the meat and smoke flavor. It also had too much bite, not as tender as I'd like. Chicken's seasoning was great and really complemented the smoke flavor, this was my favorite of the 3 meats. The pulled pork was juicy and tender, but lacked seasoning. The sauces made it better, I liked the mustard glaze sauce with the pork the best.
This place is very good barbecue but it's also very pricey
Staff were so welcoming, food was delicious! We absolutely recommend for all to come and try them out!✨ Also Monday's Kid Eat Free!
Very friendly employees. Very helpful. Food was very good and tasty. Yum!!
This is literally all you get for 40$. Foods overcooked and looks extremely rushed. No BBQ sauce when we specifically asked for BBQ sauce with our order. Beans look like their straight from bush baked beans. The mac and cheese is burnt. How do you burn mac and cheese? I'm sorry you close at 8 but we made the order at 6:45pm, it got here at 7:30 pm. Postmates says it was delivered at 7:45 pm which is not accurate. I read good things about this place and figured I'd give it a shot. Guess I learned my lesson on that. Submitted to Yelp and postmates as well. The hand in the pictures is to show how ridiculous of a portion size this is. From personal experience in the industry, this is a joke. If I wanted amateur BBQ I would of made some myself.
I had the bowl...2 warm sides on the bottom, 1 or 2 meats and toppings. There are 4 sauces that are all very tasty. Will definitely go back!
This spot is for real......they have really good food
Hidden gem. Best BBQ I've had in a long time. This place is hidden from normal foot traffic, it seems to be doing amazing simply by word of mouth. That alone says how good it is.
Fantastic BBQ joint, I would highly recommend! Just make sure to get there before noon on weekdays otherwise the lines can get quite long, that's how you know they have great food though!
I really wanted to like this place but the servings to cost doesn't add up. The sides are very small and just felt like at other BBQ places you got more for your money.
Great deals, food is well worth the price.
I think this is the best BBQ in town! My only, small complaint is that your food will be cold by the time you sit down.
Staff was friendly and food was great.
Best brisket and pulled pork around! Excellent sides--baked beans and slaw. Pork on a Fork BBQ is the real deal and we'll be back.
Delicious food. My wife and i loved it plus they catered my shop for a lunch once before. Thumbs up..
Great, personable staff. Oh my God, such good food! When I asked multiple people where to eat, the first recommendation was Pork on a Fork. I'm so glad that they did.
Poor attention ever. They don’t even have a bag.
The staff is friendly and welcoming. The meats are flavorful and juicy. The portions are a little small. I wish they had more southern sides like greens and corn bread. I will still go back.
One of the first barbecue places that I've been to that gave me quality with affordability. My wife and I enjoyed the experience! Food and service were top notch. I will definitely be going there again!
Great bbq. Probably one of the best in phoenix. And the mustard glaze is great. Not something i would even think to put on smoked food but its really good.
My husband loves this place, he orders the sandwich most of the time. I usually get the honey mustard bbq sauce on the side with my Big boy sampler. (its the best!)
Food was so good. Brisket and ribs incredible
I got the half rack of ribs with Mac and cheese and baked beans and it was THE BEST BBQ I have ever had. The ribs were seasoned amazingly- subtle heat and sweet. Don't even need additional BBQ sauce. The Mac and cheese was percently creamy and cheesy. And the baked beans had bits of meat in it and was sublime! Amazing meat and superb sides!
Great for lunch and even drop by for take-out on way home. Owners are children escapees from Nebraska cattle family who raise black angus. Also, have access to lots of pecan wood around AZ. A beautiful combo that leads to very, very nice 'Q. Simple cafeteria style with investment in food, staff, and not decor. Simple, with focus on the great 'Q. Good range of options from the usual plus brats. There are several sauce options, at the tables, so you can fix the 'Q to your tastes. Even a nice smokey, spicy sauce. I travel a lot so I like to do Pork on a Fork whenever I am back in Phoenix.
Best Brisket I ever had
Good food. Good prices. Great atmosphere!
Fun place to stop in. Funny merchandise. Great meats. Not ordinary sides! I added another star today, just because the employees are always so friendly and helpful.
Now That's What I Call barbecue! Excellent, excellent meat and pretty tasty sides. It's a makes a bit of a dent in your wallet but so worth it
Every bit of the food was cold. We were highly disappointed. The sign said best bbq in Phoenix - not even close.
Best food I've had in Phoenix by far
We ordered online and went to go pick it up and I hate myself for not checking my order before I left to drive home. The receipt in my bag was correct, however, everything on the reciept didn't even exist in the bag. Such a serious buzzkill.
The guy Michael was very nice and professional
Prime Rib 3rd Friday of the month. THE BEST
Had BBQ brisket & sausage. Great service
Although meat was juicy my co worker found a hard plastic object in her coleslaw. Also did not include Bbq sauce with meal
I'm sure the restaurant is great....I've never eaten there but I probably won't anytime soon. One of their drivers almost careened in to my car because I'm guessing she was in a hurry...not the best way to represent a business in public. Maybe remind your drivers of this...
Awesome food! Friendly staff! Great prices!
Great for large group smoked meats delicious, I had sausage and brisket. The peach cobbler is yummy!
Good food a little pricey tho
The worst place ever. I’m from NC and have no idea why they call this “BBQ”. The meat was dry with no smoke flavor and the sides were awful. Overpriced, under seasoned, dry and flavorless. I had to add my own seasoning and sauce to the food. I should never have to add seasonings or spices to make a so called world renown BBQ spot taste better. I have no idea why the food network was hyping this place up. Such a rip off with horrible customer service. Don’t believe the hype. It’s not good BBQ PERIOD!!!!
Not sure where to even start. Average bbq at best, some of the brisket was moist and some of it was dry and very small portion for the price. They went a little crazy with the pepper in the BBQ beans. Potato salad was okay, it wasn't traditional by any means and they consider sandwich buns a cornbread muffin. It was a big disappointment. For about the same price I can eat at a competitors BBQ restaurant and get larger portions that are consistent in quality and flavor. Gave it two stars because they didn't completely get my order wrong.
Delicious to die for BBQ! Just had it the first time the other day sadly because it was amazing and I'm moving out of state in less than two weeks. Will definently be having more before I go. Highly recommend if you love BBQ like I do.
One of my favorite places to eat!! Never disappointed!! A must try it if you haven't yet! Workers are always friendly and helpful!!
Had the brisket platter small portion of meat great sides 3 star average.
If it was feasible, I'd eat here every day. The bbq ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage, chicken, all cooked to perfection . This is the place you wouldn't want to pass up. I dare you not to like it!!!
I was not impressed, mine's better. The pulled pork was ok, but I thought the brisket didn't taste good at all.
I definitely recommend the ribs. They put some bbq seasoning on the Mac and cheese. Definitely also a must get
Google maps will lead you directly to this great place. It is tucked in a bit of an industrial park, but it is easy to find. We had the deluxe sampler, full rack of ribs, Mac and Cheese and slaw. Everything was awesome. We thought the ribs and brisket were the best parts of our meal. There is a big area to eat in the back or you can order to go (online too). If you like BBQ and you're looking for a quick meal, this place cannot be beat.
Food here is good but they could improve with service, especially around lunch time. Little expensive, but good BBQ usually is.
Brisket was amazing as always!
Food was not up to par, a couple items were good the others were either overcooked or tasted processed/frozen. They have good original rub and BBQ sauce but the customer service could be improved.
Great food, great service. The location is weird being in a warehouse but they make it work. I only wish they had some more of the traditional southern barbecue sides but the pulled pork was delicious. I also appreciated the fact that the employee took his time picking out the best pieces of meat for my sandwich.
Have catered from here before and that was excellent but visiting in person was a dissapointement. My food was room temprature and many items on the catering menu where not available in person like ham and potatoes.
Great BBQ reasonable prices love there mac n cheese
I ordered a burrito here, but halfway through preparing it, the employee told me they were out of sour cream (without it, the burrito didn't taste great). She didn't offer to offer me something else, and it honestly would have been helpful to know that they were out of a key ingredient before starting to make the burrito in the first place.
Great food and location. Easy to miss off the street. Small lobby are but large eating area. Not super fancy but great food and service.
Very good down to earth
A frequent stop for dinner before our Civil Air Patrol meetings at nearby Deer Valley Airport. You order at a counter and they prep your dinner to order. You can get a sandwich (pulled pork, brisket, etc.) or a bowl with a base of your choice of rice, mac & cheese, or beans, topped with two meats and two sides. Lots of other options as well including ribs. We often do takeout, but there's a large dining room in the back where you can eat in-house. Our favorite BBQ restaurant in Phoenix.
Normally the best BBQ around. Last time not so much. I'll give it another chance....its usually that good
Good: excellent flavor, service was good, good sauces (if needed). Bad: Pricey. This last time we were there, they mixed up my plate with my coworker's plate. Easy to fix, but annoying. They have RC Cola, which is not standard, but not bad or good.
I did take out and was disappointed with the ribs, old and over cooked. The bbq sauce was cool, for 15.00 I won't be going back.
So good! Order food for my birthday. Loved it will order here again.
When it comes to BBQ, the bowls might seem a little low-class... but their pulled pork over mac&cheese with jalapenos, corn, and coleslaw is OUTSTANDING. The sauces are also excellent. 5 stars is not enough.
Tried a plate with Brisket and 2 ribs, coleslaw and pasta/macaroni salad. All where very good. Ribs did not look like they would be great, but taste and texture where above average. The macaroni salad was also surprisingly good.
great food and they pick the fat off the meat before they weigh it unlike the one on camelback
This place is awesome! The bbq was juicy and tender. The slaw is good. They have different things to pick from. You won't be let down if you come here
Kind of an out of the way place for BBQ with an odd eat-in dining arraignment. But well worth trying and going back to. I've also noticed that a lot of local guides recommend Pork on a Fork, which makes me believe this place is as good as I think it is.
Doesn't get any better than this.
Best BBQ spot in the North valley! Their BBQ sampler is definitely the way to go, if it's your first time here. (I'd get the Mac n' Cheese and baked beans as a side!!) If you are feeling like something different, their BBQ burritos are absolutely insane, it's one of those things where the whole is so much greater than the sum of its parts.
While the service was good, the food okay. The meat was cold & the little rolls were cold & hard. The meat had a good taste, but probably would've been better hot. The BBQ sauces were good, too, though. As well as the mac & cheese & baked beans. I wanted potato salad, but there was none, which was disappointing. All in all, we'd probably come back but, not to stay & eat.
I stop by here often for lunch. Today I tried the prime rib dinner and loved every bite.
Good food, and sauces are also good. Definitely recommend to try it out once... Suggestion for Owner to consider- Don't pull the meat in front of customer its not a good visual
Nice Valentine's Day special dinner!
