Very disappointed with the food and service! Yes, obstacles arise. Yes, there are times when the unexpected happen. BUT HOW YOU HANDLE THEM IS KEY! The lack of communication, concern, or consideration for your client (who HAD to pay in advance) is beyond unprofessional and unacceptable. The fact Kathy's Catering didn't care or even bother to offer anything to turn the situation around says alot about her business practices and standards. No business is perfect but as a business owner you should strive for perfection and show appreciation to your clients versus treating them like cattle in line to be slaughtered!

We used Katy's services for my retirement party. Katy and her staff had everything setup and ready exactly as we discussed and the food was amazing! I received many compliments throughout the party. Also, we found Katy very nice and easy to work with. Definitely recommend Katy's Catering and I would certainly use again!

Kathleen catered my husband's 60th birthday party at our condo in Orange Beach in August 2013. The food and presentation were excellent. We had 18 people and she described and did a mini demonstration as she prepared the food. She was on time and well prepared. We had appetizers, salad, 4 entree tapas and desert. I would certainly recommend her.

We worked with Katy’s for our destination family reunion. We were very disappointed when dinner arrived several hours late for our banquet. No accommodations or discounts were offered. This in turn caused a few of family members to miss our boat ride due to dinner being so late.

They were over 2 hours late. The food was average at best, and some of it was even cold. Then she acted like she could care less.

Not what we expected. Cold food, appetizers were not passed (paid extra) and carved turkey was placed on our plates with her hand. Servers were lazy and made us feel like they were doing us favors all night. Don't let pics on website fool you. Bartender was great but had no direction

I work for a CPA association and we offer CPE classes in the Orange Beach, AL area. We were looking for a caterer to cover that area and was having trouble finding one. I found Katy's Catering on the internet and she was able to schedule our dates, deliver breakfast, lunch and even stay to oversee that everyone's needs were met. We also had wonderful reviews on her and her awesome breakfast and lunch. We will continue to use her for all of our training events in the future for Orange Beach, AL.

Katy's Catering has really great food. Our guest were very pleased. We asked for light and heavy Southern appetizers. The heavy Southern appetizers were out of this world. Our guest loved them.The light appetizers were late coming out and our guest really never found them til later. Our initial meeting with Kathleen went well and we were completely at ease with turning over our rehearsal dinner/open house event. Miscommunication and misunderstanding on both sides lead to a rocky and late start on the night of the event. I would use Katy's Catering again but would take more time to get more details on set-up, logistics, event flow. The extra staff Kathleen had the night of the event was very professional and a nice compliment to her.

We had one of the best meals for 16 guests I have ever had at our own house Friday night, prepared and served by Kathleen. Everything was delicious: West Indies apps, salad, shrimp and grits (luscious gravy), biscuits, stuffed mushrooms, and probably the best key lime pie I have ever had! Everything was exactly on time and my kitchen was clean when she left. We will definitely be calling Katy's Catering again.

I wish I could give Katy and her staff more stars. We used Katy's recently for a Celebration of Life ceremony. Katy came very highly recommended by other people in the Lillian vicinity. I have to say we were absolutely thrilled with Katy, her menu and especially her staff. They were at the designated location ahead of schedule and waiting on us to arrive. The food was truly delicious and her staff some of the most professional I have ever worked with. They handled our event with grace and care. We had about 25 more people than had RSVP'd and Katy handled it with no problems at all. If you are remotely thinking of using a caterer I cannot recommend someone more highly than Katy. Thank You. You made the day most special.

Katy and her staff were extremely late to our event and failed to communicate with us on estimated delivery. Additionally, I witnessed our ordered food be brought in from the back of her truck where the containers were left open and flies rested on the food prior to them serving. Only 1 server was sent to handle setup and clean up for a party of 125ppl. Extremely subpar service and would not recommend.

New restaurant in Elberts is excellent. Generous portions, great flavors. Cajun doulbe stuffed potatoes were very good. The hummingbird cupcakes we're very tasty for dessert. Staff were very friendly and cheerful. A wonderful dining experience.
