I got the Red Carpet Plus as well as a seat and carpet shampoo. $80 The cons: Mud specs were still on my vehicle at the bottom, pollen was all over the side view mirrors, a rim of orange gunk was inside my front cup holders, my rear cup holders hadn't even been wiped out. I had to wipe down all that myself once I got home, the rag I used was gross by the time I got done. The bottom part of the cargo area had dust and dirt over it. The carpet in the corner of the cargo area had an orange spot that when touched rubbed orange all over my hands. Pieces of broken tempered glass were left in the cargo area. And whatever shampoo machine they used I must have had dirty water in it because now my car smells like dirty feet/wetdog, despite me driving with the windows down ever since to air it out (got it cleaned almost a week ago). This car came off a lot in 2015 and had only been driven 3k miles since, dog free. It should not smell like that. They also forgot to give me my air freshener. The pros: without having an appointment they were able to take my car and have it done in 3 hours. At first glance it looked brand new.

For their prices they do an excellent job. However, late into the cleaning I realized it would have been best for me to drop off my vehicle in the morning and just come back in the afternoon sometime. I thought it would take an hour, hour and a half tops to finish my vehicle and it took three. They were really busy the day I went in so I'm not sure how long they would have had my vehicle if business were slow. Definitely a great job cleaning, but just wished I had known it would take that long. Lesson learned for the future. I do intend to come back, but I will be better prepared for a lengthy process.

Had my car cleaned here for years. They usually do a pretty decent job. This time, though...it took nearly 2 hours. I noticed when it got dark later that night, that the young man had NOT cleaned any of my windows on the inside. I tipped him very generous too. Now I have to clean them myself. Not going back, hate to say. But paying $25.00 + $10.00 tip for a half-assed job ain't happening.

I have a 65 lb siberian husky and a cloth carpeted van. Needless to say it's the most hairy thing ever. I used to spend 3 hours trying to vacuum it just to end up with hair still embedded in the carpets. I took it there because i was 8 months pregnant and not climbing around in the van vto vacuum. I calmly apologized and handed off my keys. It was spotless (our dogs name is spot so it worked). Humans are imperfect so all the complaints about missing spots, get over it and maybe next time do it yourself? I am forever grateful and bring my hairy can here now. Edit: well. I paid 25 dollars and tipped 20 dollars to get my van vacuumed. Needless to say i don't think they actually vacuumed it and I should not have tipped. Took pictures. Very unhappy with this.

for $12.00 they can't vacuum out your car? Part of the package I bought included cleaning the wheels but there was still break dust all over them and they did not even wipe them down. There was still bird droppings on the car. You would be better off going to to place that you pay 3.00 and vacuum out the car yourself because I had to pay another 2.00 a another car was to use the vacuum. Complete rip off

Damaged my husband's mirror. We asked the guy to wash mirror and then we would close them because they are electronic. He said ok but after they washed it the guy slammed it in and broke the brackets holding the mirror in place. Spoke to the owner 2 weeks later (after calling a few times) and was told to go get an estimate. We took the estimate by and some guy (I think it was the "owner" even tho he said he wasn't) told us that they are not responsible for mirrors. They had just put a sign up after the fact. Now they are not responding. Trying to get out of paying for the damages but we are contacting an attorney! Stay away unless you are ok with damage from a negligent employee.

Watch out if you come here. Your vehicle might get scratched... My Mazda got scratched here on the drivers side door. It's a big scratch too... One employee said they were sorry something about their equipment being repaired and was faulty. Then he shut his mouth when a short little guy walked over speaking Spanish to him. The short little guy said he was the manager and asked to see the time on my receipt. I showed him.. He said wait he would look at the cameras. After pulling around and not being able to find a place to park ( too many customers cars parked/ being washed) I told him I would come back in about one hour. I came back after calling my insurance and reporting the scratch. The little guy said no refunds/ no help with repairs. Unbelievable. He let me see the tape... He pointed at some mud on my drivers side door where I was driving towards Martinsville in the rain on a muddy road. I told him that's not a scratch. He tried to argue it was possibly under the mud on the paint but the scratch is too high on my paint...and on the tape I didn't see the scratch. He kept repeating the scratch was concealed by the mud on the paint and he wasn't going to help me. They scratched my car and are unwilling to help fix it...According to the insurance company it's a $150 job to fix it. No use wasting time/ money suing them but I can try to tell others. Southern Classic is not a reputable business. There was also another customer I saw complaining about them not doing their job right leaving dirt on his truck.

Interior detail and exterior wash was great, I'm happy with how it turned out. The staff was nice and honored the prices listed on their website. Downside is that they never answer the phone, you just have to drive over there. There isn't an office to go into - just drive up and talk to the attendant. Some services say an appointment is needed, but I didn't need one - they just fit me right in. Interior detail took about 2.5 hours. I will be back!

This place is fantastic! Not only do they do an excellent job at cleaning your vehicle, it's extremely affordable. $20 plus tip to get both the exterior and interior nearly spotless. Being from Northern VA, this would cost $75-$100 in my area. On weekends it may take over an hour but that not because they are slow, they are simply that busy. These guys work their tails off! I highly recommend it!

I told the guy I wanted them to vacuum my trunk 3 times and it was barely vacuumed. I specified what I wanted to them several times, as another reviewer suggested but they didn't do half of what I asked. Its hard to find a good car wash in Roanoke. I didn't think Southern was that great an employee also asked for a tip and when I gave him $1 he got upset and said“ just $1?” You should be happy I gave you anything.

They tore up my side stripes that i spent good money to put on and said my product was cheap so it ripped off. My car wasn’t even cleaned properly and when i asked the manager why it wasnt clean he said thats all i get for 23 dollars. Never coming back again and wouldnt recommend anyone to go there.

I wash my car here every week i have to be honest there doing good job but on 8/31/2016 after wash my vehicle all my windows was oily and dirty specially when the rain hit my car I wasn't able to see the road it take me about 30 minutes to clean my windows with Windex and rubbin alcohol I just talked with the manager here he didn't even apologize and he was telling me that they didn't do this this this is the last time I wash my vehicle here I'm going to another place from next week..What a place

Wash was okay. They tried to put $50 instead of $16 on my card though. Luckily I squinted down at the teeny hard to read receipt and it said $50. They refunded me $34 in cash, but didn't seem terribly surprised.

Took 2015 Toyota Tundra there let them wash it and when Done both side of the truck had scar arched down the side. Have spoke to car wash manager and they weren't willing to help with having someone buff the scratches out. I was a regular customer stopping in a couple times a week. Don't recommend!

These guys do great work. The Red Carpet package ($25) is essentially a full auto detail including vacuum, armor all, and tire shine. This is legitimately the only car wash I've been to that does as good or better than I do myself. Cost: Exterior with tire shine ~$10+ tip Total Package ~ $25+ tip (no up-charge for large vehicles) Time: Exterior only ~10 minutes Total Package ~ 1 hour

Excellent car wash service. They spent over an hour with my car scrubbing the dirty vinyl and getting it looking great. I had used a car wash at a gas station in the past that charged about the same price, but the job they did was quick and nowhere near as good. I highly recommend this place if you don't mind spending an hour for a really thorough job on your car.

No one mans the phone and I didn't get a call back when I left a message (even after 3 business days), but I took the car in and got the "full interior detail." This included seat and carpet shampoo, interior cleaning, and exterior wash. Dirty water was left in some of the compartments and others still had crud in them. The shampoo looked like a decent job. The exterior still had bird poop, so I'm not sure if they even did that part. They were really nice and friendly at drop off and pick up, but there was nothing "detailed" about the job.

My experience was one of complete frustration and they have lost their credibility with me. I arrived at 1:19 pm. I had a slight mess on the dash and the carpet. Most of it had been cleaned, but still needed a little attention. I asked the initial attendant how long it would take for a Red Carpet (I was on my lunch break). He said "1 hour and 20 minutes". So because I believed his estimate, I proceeded. By 2:45, I was still waiting. I could clearly see my car sitting. I spoke to the initial attendant who told me that the job would take "1 hour and 20 minutes". I explained to him that I had to go back to work. He told me that the attendant will work on my car now and that it would take her "just a few minutes". The "few minutes" was a lie and at 3:15 she was still not done! At 3:30 I walked past her and asked "how much longer?" She held up her hand to indicate the number 5 (guessing she was telling me 5 minutes). By 4:00 as I watched her repeatedly wipe areas she had already wiped, I was livid! I went over to her, respectful but firm in my conversation, and told her that I had to go and whatever is not done, I will take it as is. She did not understand me so she called over the initial attendant. I told him "You told me 1 hour and 20 minutes! I am WAY past my lunch break and I still have to go back to work. I told you that I had to go back to work! I want my car back and whatever isn't done it will have to be left. I will take it as it but I have to go!!!!" As I am standing there telling him this, he says "The car is done". He didn't offer an apology, a refund or any type of service for this inconvenience. I told him that I would not be back. Halfway up the road, I discovered that my phone clip to hold my phone during travel was gone. There is a sign telling customers that they are not responsible for items left behind. However, my clip was fixed to my vent and there was no reason to even move it! I will not be back and will be taking my business elsewhere. This was customer service at its worse!

UNACCEPTABLE - Called and left messages totaling 6 calls over a 4 day period to schedule a full detailing of the interior and exterior. Nobody called back to schedule an appointment. What kind of business is this? Answer - UNPROFESSIONAL Wonder if they are IRS Form I-9 compliant? Received a call back on day 6 and was informed they have no office, they don't hand wash vehicles, or make appointments either. You have to take a chance and drop-off your vehicle; another word, get in line and wait. Decided to give them a try, just to be fair to them regarding this review. I paid $145.00 for complete detailing, interior and exterior. Left 17 pieces of napkin in various locations to serve as quality assurance checkpoints; seat pockets, visors, under seats, etc. They located 10 and I removed the remaining 7 upon my inspection of their work. What they did clean, was satisfactory, but I expect zero discrepancies when I am paying $145.00. I would rate my experience overall 3 of 5 stars for service!!! This business model is applicable for someone that is interested in a "stop and go" wash or just a "satisfactory" detailing of your vehicle. If you are as I am, you will have to follow up and complete the detailing on your own. So why pay $145.00? I would prefer to pay more for a perfect detailing, than to pay economy prices for just an okay detailing. I would use this location only to wash the vehicle periodically, because their equipment washes the undercarriage, but will seek another location for the detailing.

Just as Mollie Strickler said. nobody ever answers the phone!!! i left a message inquiring about their car cleaning services on aug. 22 it was never returned. on aug. 28 i left another message that also was never returned! i decided to just go try them. I am fortunate enough to own a nice car. Its a 2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Black. Since its a nice car, i EXPECT a nice quality cleaning. who wouldnt? This other reviewer hit the nail right on the head! absolutely NO *detailing* AT ALL!!! Do not believe it. Its just a gimmick. I got the $25 package. there was another package below it for $20 and some odd cents..... i should have just got that package... or something even below that!!! because thats about what i got. i definitely did not get a $25 job! There was still some dust and things inside my car. around the gear shift, and on top of my dash! There was still a noticeable little piece of bird poop right above my drivers side window too! The guy who brought me my key also followed me to my car door and asked for a tip. when i didn't give him a tip.. after seeing the bird poop still there.... he gave me a dirty look and addressed me in a mildly disrespectful manner, by calling me a pet name! They seem a lot friendlier than many of the area car washes. They certainly arent weirdos like the Sunnybrook people on Williamson! but they need to step it up and get serious! You cant seriously leave someones car like that after they pay $25 for a wash!!! I will be coming back for a 2nd visit, but if they don't cut it the 2nd time. ill just go back to washing my car myself. no matter how much trouble or inconvenience!!
