They do amazing work, but there pricing last time was questionable. I have brought other car I have owned here before and the work seemed fair priced then. BUT!!! Went here after buying a Toyota 4runner from Pennsylvania a few month ago. They told me it needed 4800 bucks to get it road legal and running well. Plus they told me that it had rust in the frame that might not be fixable and if it was it would add cost to that 4800. Took their inspection sheet to the Toyota dealership up the road and they quoted me at a way cheaper price for the same work and parts. I ended up getting the frame fixed here in town and went somewhere else for tires, then drove it home to my mechanic handed him river side inspection sheet and he went threw it and the sum total for the same parts and labor was under 1400. Drove it up to Maine and back last week it is running great. The guy at river side told me to try to sell it fast to recoup some of my money, I'm glad I didn't.

I NEVER write reviews, that being said I felt strongly compelled to write one for this establishment. Nearly two weeks ago my husband scheduled my vehicle for routine maintenance on my brakes. While I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced the owner Harry Sprouse approached me in the waiting room. He was VERY friendly. He told me “I see you have a smart phone, if you give me a 5 star review on google right now I will throw in an oil change free of charge.” I politely declined as we had just had the oil changed a short time ago. Overall service was ok, basically what you expect at any auto repair shop, certainly nothing like the glowing reviews that I see have been posted. My issue and reason for my review is that BUYING 5 star reviews is just WRONG especially from an owner that claims to be a Christian.

I appreciate the owner taking the time to write this book below, but you should remember your customers a little better. I had no pickup with you and def didnt come in for an oil change since i do my own. I had a toyota corolla that i dropped off 6 weeks prior to me just getting no response that headlights were fixed and i ended up just picking up the car 6 weeks later. I agree with every person that has said Riverside Auto has excellent customer service! Harry (and Dallas) will make you feel comfortable and are very approachable. You can also tell by his relationship with the employees that he runs a well-organized shop- it reflects on his workers and their work. I got to watch the mechanics at work several times; they are great team and friendly too! I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars parts and problems; the mechanics and manager were extremely patient with me and gave me an "all that is wrong with your car" for dummies analysis and what had to be done. For the quality, information, options and timeliness of the repair, the price I paid was just right. Riverside Automotive is definitely a local Morgantown auto shop I would recommend!

Just passing through on spring break, when we had car troubles. Riverside fit us in, even though they were super busy. They had us in and out quickly and for a very fair price. Stop in just to meet their adorable dog Dallas, that hangs out to greet the customers. We highly recommend riverside. Wish there were more shops like them!

Great experience with Riverside Automotive in Morgantown. After several problems with service of my 2014 Ford F150 that I purchased at Freedom Ford. I had another issue with the Dealership(Freedom Ford), I called Riverside. The service manager told me to bring my truck right in, that they would look at it immediately. When usually it takes weeks for Freedom Ford to get it in. It was late in the day, so they explained that it might not be fixed until the next morning, which was not a problem. Early the next morning the truck was fixed, and they took me home and picked me back up the next day. All the employees are very nice and helpful. Ok I brought in my newly purchased BMW (2002) for a checkup and regular maintence. What I received from Harry and his crew went beyond my expectations! Not only did they quote me the absolute best price on the needed regular maintence repairs, but in reality they went above and beyond anything that was required. Took my car in for an alignment and too get my lower ball joints replaced, im a delivery driver so ive been all over morgantown looking for a reliable mechanic that wouldnt screw me on price. I was quoted a price and when i returned to get my car i found that they had too do way more work then was originally anticipated but they still stuck with the original quote and saved me a ton of money, safe to say that i have finally found a reliable mechanic in morgantown. thanks guys

First trip here they “found” $3500 worth of repairs on my car. Had another relatively small issue and wanted an idea of cost over the phone. Just ballpark and they refused to help unless I brought it in. I explained the situation before and not being able to shell out thousands more, and just wanted a ballpark figure based on another mechanics recommendation, and they immediately became defensive and angry telling me they are the only place in town that services European cars. Take the time to drive to Pittsburgh or points south to service European models. I don’t trust these guys as far as I could throw them.

I know this guy is just going to start quoting the bible at me, and arguing with customers online is always a great way to drive business, but someone has to be brave enough to say it. This shop does NOT carry battletoads, and I mean ANY of the Battletoads franchise. No, I'm serious, they don't even have the crappy Battletoads/Double Dragon crossover for the SNES. Sorry, but no self respecting shop cares so little about their business they can't be bothered to carry Battletoad related auto-options at all. 1/5 stars.

As a female, I have encountered many auto-mechanics that have provided me with poor and high priced services, as well as treating me with disrespect. This experience made up for every one of them. Harry and Zach were absolutely wonderful providing me with quick service, consistent communication in making sure I was informed and knowledgable about everything as well as were professional and kind. The service they provided me was impeccable and they aided me in considering several payment options so that I didn't have to feel financially burdened. I’m from Berkeley Springs, WV. I drove towards Fairmont and broke down. Come to find out the place where I got my oil changed they didn’t put my oil cap back on correctly. I had to get a tow truck and find a automotive shop, and I used google most places closed at 5:30. I picked the closest one and also best reviews. I called and explained my issue. He was so nice and understanding. Then I explained if I get there I don’t have a place to go my dad is coming from two hours away. I was bawling at this point!!! Told me to have the tow truck take me still. When I showed up the owner came out checked underneath my hood. Very communicative talked to my dad on the phone. Relieved. The owner/manager stayed late to look at my car and waited for my dad to get there. Thank goodness it was fixable, and he didn’t charge me a dime. I tried to give him cash and still wouldn’t take it. Thank you so much, you have know idea how much weight was taken off my shoulders. I appreciate you and your team, no doubt I will always recommend!!

I went in for an oil change and to have a rattle checked... turned out to be a severed leaf spring with one side resting on my brake line and the other almost penetrating the tire... needless to say this is one of those vehicle issues where the cost will definitely affect the owner! Harry took the time to work with me on the payment of an unexpected bill by offering a payment plan through the store offered credit service. This was greatly appreciated and enabled me to get my truck back on the road quickly. In a situation like this you hope the owner/manager will show consideration and compassion for the individual, because we are all in-between the next bill.. I am from out of town, and got recommended by a friend. These guys were outstanding. They take you out to your car to show you what exactly is wrong. I compared some prices with other companies and they were about the cheapest. Honest, clean work, which is what you DON'T find in most mechanics these days. They even scuffed up my wheel and the owner personally came out and told me. Will be back there for more work on my car.

Please be careful when taking your car here. The people are very nice, and they leverage that to get you to pay them ridiculously high rates for services you probably don't need. Each time I went in there for a routine oil change they would try to get me to fork over an extra $300-$400!

I absolutely love this place and would recommend it to anyone. The customer services is outstanding and their knowledge about cars is superior. This shop makes you feel like you are part of the family, they know you by name when you call in and its the same friendly faces always working there. Zac Britton, assistant manager is absolutely wonderful, always helpful and ensure that everything you ask for is taken care of to your liking. I am definitely not an easy customer and they have made me more than happy every time while always keeping a smile on their face and welcoming me everytime I come in. The owner is just as wonderful, always there to work with you in anyway he can in order to ensure your satisfaction. I highly recommend this shop for amazing customer services, extreme satisfaction and family friendly atmosphere. Oh and by the way they have a shop dog aka Dallas, the sweetest most loving dog ever. So if the review itself isn't enough for you to try them out at least go there to visit the dog!!

I was excited to take my car here and only here since it was dog friendly. However, they wouldn't give an estimate for work over the phone so I brought it in. My family are mechanics back home and I already knew from that knowledge what needed to be fixed. I took it in for the diagnostics anyway and his estimate was a min of $400 more than every other shop in the area. I noticed the parts was particularly high not the labor so was going to ask if I could buy my own. When I contacted the shop and said I had questions about my estimate he started to yell said to come get my car and take it somewhere else and just get screwed over. I wasn't able to ask one question so I went and got my car and paid $100 for information I already knew.

Took my 2001 Nissan Maxima to these guys. I was under the impression I needed a new starter so they hooked up my battery and did a full check and realized my battery was only putting out 397 cca while it was rated at 650. They installed a new battery for me and had me in and out within 45 minutes. I was very pleased with the service. They were all friendly and obviously knew what they were doing. They also give a 30,000 mile/3 year warranty so save your receipt! Very satisfied. Prices were on the lower end of a brand new battery as well. Many times I deal with a repair shop I leave with a sour taste in my mouth but I feel comfortable having dealt with this group of people. Highly recommended.

I have never experienced any auto shop that cared so much about their customers. We had a repair that was not diagnosed correctly the first time, but was quickly corrected at the owners expense. Harry, the owner was so welcoming to his shop. He told us right away of the mistake and the correction at his expense. Really an all around great place to get any work done on your vehicle!

I was here today to get an oil change. I primarily talked with Zack. They identified a critical issue with one of ball joints that I had them fix. I feared there could have been an issue with that wheel due to a recent incident involving one of the famous potholes of Morgantown and the said wheel. Here are some of the observations I made: * The service is prompt. They said that the repair would take about a hour and a half or so. I was dropped at home. I received a call that the repair was done within 2 hours. *I didn't feel I was ripped off. They do charge a slight premium compared to the competition, but they give prompt service. I believe it is a fair wager at the end of the day. *They seemed honest to me. Their diagnosis of issues coordinated with what I had observed (I never talked about the issues or incidents beforehand). Like, all other ball joints were fine, except the one where the wheel hit the pothole hard. *I liked their attention to details. They washed and vacuumed the car for free. My rear-view mirror was slightly loose and I was being a little lazy fixing it up since it wasn't really bad. Just needed a readjustment every now and then. When I got the car back, the position of the mirror seemed different from how I like it. When I changed it to my preference, I noticed that it was nice and stiff. Someone fixed it. Five stars for that. *Everyone was polite and respectful, including the shuttle driver, Paulie. Oh, special mention to their dog, Dallas. He is adorable. Riverside Auto is on my recommended list of garages in town. If you want a repair in a short span of time, and a stressfree setting, definitely worth considering.

If you have an extremely basic repair then you might be fine. But for a problem you don't know stay away!!!!! I had a "rattle" from brakes on bumps and I specifically told them it was only when I braked. They tried to tell me it was my exhaust rattling but I told them no I checked that myself it is something in the break system. After a double check they still told me my exhaust and I needed a new one. Leaving the shop after my new exhaust was on there was the same exact noise. I was so annoyed I didn't even want to go back. Finally got home to NY to my main mechanic and he simply realized the brakes were put in incorrectly. Noise was gone for an easy fix. They made me spend so much extra on something they had no idea about and were guessing just like me. Also, I bought the part myself and just had them install it. Simple bolt on took 30 mins and they charged me 110. The worst part of it all, the owner was Reving my engine and driving hard on my clutch as he pulled the car around for me, trying to impress me on my new exhaust but he was beating on my car. I couldn't believe it. These people will convince you about customer service but are under the radar jerks. Wouldn't trust them even for an oil change.

Brought my Porsche Cayenne in. I want to first start by saying everyone in town turned me down for a simple battery charging. They got me in and out pretty fast. I thought the price was a bit steep just to charge my battery considering the fact the Porsche Dealer quoted me slightly less, none the less they got it done quickly and had great customer service. I will be using them in the future and recommend RiverSide to anyone who has a foreign car and is out of network for your dealer. Thank you guys for the swift service

I have taken my vehicle there several times now, and each time I've had a positive experience. I don't consider myself to be very knowledgeable about cars so the first time I planned to take my car to Riverside, I talked with my father to make sure I was not getting ripped off. The owner was more than happy to discuss the issue with my father directly so I wouldn't have to keep going back and forth between calling Riverside and calling my father to reiterate what they told me. They were extrememly helpful, and even my father commented on how much they truly cared about solving the issue, rather than just digging for money. Their customer service is tremendous and would recommend them to anyone needing their vehicle worked on. Oh and if you decide to sit and wait in the shop while they're fixing your car, their dog Dallas keeps you company :)

I asked them to check my car which is usually free in any where else, and they charged me 40 bucks. The repairing quote was 900 bucks while other shops gave me a quote around 350 bucks!!! any they where so rude to me and impolite! i have not seen any automotive shop worst than this one

These guys duped my girlfriend multiple times on her car. She has taken her Vehicle there multiple times because her car was leaking radiator fluid. They said it was the cap to the coolant container that was leaking and we tried somewhere else and it turned out to be her water pump which they immediately figured out. But they said they searched for a leak and charged her 100 dollars for not doing anything basically and gave her a new cap and said that nothing else was wrong. That's not the only time they've screwed her over even though my girlfriend has been loyal to them for years. They always found something wrong that we didn't even take her car there for in the first place and made the repairs or ran "tests" they charged her for without even asking her. Don't trust these people.

Excellent shop. The owner was helpful and the prices were reasonable. I also appreciate that when i picked up my car it didn't smell like it had sat in a mechanics shop for hours. I had them change my oil, air filter and replace the tires. They were even kind enough to drop me off at work while my car was being serviced. I already went to the Meineke when Tom was the owner. I will definitely continue to have all of my cars serviced at this shop.

These guys are great! For any car repair service, you would expect the people to try to charge you for the most they can. Not these guys! They were extremely friendly and tried everything they can to make my experience stress free and take less money out of my pocket as possible. Went their for a state inspection. Though my car failed, just one issue, they were honest about the issue and even showed me the part that needed to be replaced, which I greatly appreciated that. I chose to stay at the shop since I had no plans for the day. While I was there for about 3 hours or so waiting for my car to be ready, it didn't felt like I was there that long at all. Dallas, the store's dog, who is very chill, was great company and it was great talking to Harry while I was waiting. I appreciate the service and look forward to them providing services for my Jeep again. I would highly recommend anyone taking their car to Riverside auto! Very impressed with the quick diagnosis and reasonable charges. When I asked for a courtesy vehicle to grab lunch they quickly arranged it. Harry was a little concerned when he called me mid-lunch, because he really thought the tranny fluid should be flushed, but didn't want to come off as a salesman, trying to sell me yet one more thing. But I could tell he really was concerned about it. Harry said I could put it off for a little bit. But what Harry didn't know is that I was aware it was fully needed due to a previous problem! So, this is what I found on my very first visit: Responsive in a crunch. Thorough diagnosis. Concern about costs to me. Willing to look pushy when something really was needed. On a long distance road trip, I showed up two weeks ago with a '73 TR6 on a flatbed and some serious clutch problems. Turned away by other shops in Morgantown that were too busy to assist, the Riverside team got right to work on the hydraulic components but confirmed a more serious release bearing issue. Needing a quick turnaround they pulled the transmission, replaced the failed part and had me on my way in a few days, as they promised. Three cheers to owner Harry Sprouse and mechanics Jeff and Kyle and Matt, the newest member of the team. For a driver in need with an old British sports car these guys really came through. Knowledgeable mechanics, great service and quick work ... would recommend these guys over anyone. ps ... I'm another 1500 miles into the roadtrip and the car is running perfectly.

I spoke with the owner, who made a special effort to contact me, about my billing for a 30K check up for my Honda Accord. He had reviewed my statement and said the person billing that day had made an error by replacing my spark plugs at 30K miles. The owner then refunded me $280 which put the fee in line with industry standards. I truly commend the owner. He is clearly and uniquely an honest man and I will continue to use his services and will highly recommend him!

I recently had an amazing experience with this company. In the past I have been taken advantage of when getting my car worked on (I'm assuming because I'm a girl and know nothing about cars), but the staff at Riverside Automotive were so kind and honest when talking to me, and patient when my father had questions for them. It was a bit pricey, but my car is foreign and the parts are just more expensive in general. However, it was worth it for the fast, friendly, and efficient service I received. I won't be taking my car anywhere else for the rest of my college career. Also my car was washed and detailed when I picked it up which made my day! :o) thank you again for an amazing, stress free experience.

I went for an oil change and to discuss about my engine check light code P0446 for Toyota Camry on 9/24/14. They did the oil change. I all ready knew that for engine check light code P0446, the vapor canister has to be changed. But they didn't listen to me and said it is a general code and they want to do detailed smoke test and charged me $100 for the smoke test and finally told me that vapor canister has to be changed which I already knew. Then they told they will send me a quote for replacing vapor canister, but they never sent me any code till now (almost two months). I called them couple of times but they told they are still searching for the canister!!!.. If they cannot get canister, why did they do the smoke test and charged me $100?

I was out of town 300+ miles away from home. Honesty is key, Harry, the owner dealt with me like a human being and not a dollar $ign. Good work and great service is an understatement on their behalf. I brought my 2013 BMW 535i for suspension work... My car came back in showroom condition. They were in contact with me the whole time, very informative while courteous. Prompt service and affordable. Im a native New Yorker and I would have paid a little more than double for the same job in NY while getting mediocre service and results. If I could give 10 or even 100 stars I would. This business is highly recommended especially if you have a German car and want quality dealer work done at a fraction of the price. All procedures were explained to the fullest extent. The prices are so reasonable I had extra work done, the car is definitely driving like a bimmer now. Thanks Harry, thanks Zack you guys are awesome. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. I would go a back 300 miles to get work done this business is reliable. I wish you guys all the best.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. First and last time I will ever step into their doors. I would give them no stars if I could. I came to Riverside because I thought they would be honest as they have bible verses on their entry door and promote to be Christian owned and operated. I brought my elderly fathers car in for a state inspection. The repairs that were recommended were CONTRADICTED by the same business that they took my car to for an inspection! Riverside does not actually do the inspection themselves, apparently they are not licensed. I found this all out after I went to the folks that actually inspected the car and was told they just had the car in for an inspection - their recommendations were not even close to what the owner Harry said were required. Harry was quite disoriented and very hyper when he was explaining what repairs the car required, absolutely could not maintain eye contact through his abnormal pupils with me. You deduce what you want from my comment; I will not post my opinion on his personal habits. All in all VERY dishonest and the mark up on Riversides parts were over 90%! The only thing this business has going for it is Dallas. 10/30/14 **I see Sprouse has responded I am not a customer, AND gave himself a five star review as well! I think we are all getting a clearer picture of what is going on here. Right as mentioned it was my father’s car so my name will not be in his system. Certainly not a competitor or fired employee I am just an individual trying to spare others from the same type of dishonesty I was nearly the victim of. Shout out to Doug Brady in Westover for being honest about the repairs needed. I challenge you, Mr. Sprouse to post publicly WHEN you became a licensed inspection station; certainly it NOT BEFORE my bad experience and subsequent review. Shame on you for trying to be dishonest regarding this subject! Shame on you again for trying to dispute the validity of my review. And finally shame on you for using God's word to try to project yourself as a righteous man to sell your business. Nope not a sin to give away a free oil change in exchange for a 5 star review, just VERY dishonest as I hope others will see before being subjected to your dishonest business practices. I love scripture as well however I will not misquote as you have. Instead read Proverbs 13:5. I agree Google is wonderful. Your Review I felt very comfortable leaving my vehicle to be looked as soon as I walked in the office. With a vague description on my behalf the staff located the problem and was able to repair it at a competitive price. a courtesy ride to and from home was a big help as I was able to go through a normal day of work and did not have to wait on my vehicle, Even though I made it clear there my truck was done in a timely manner and was cleaned before I picked it up. The shop was clean and well organized with all the staff I had contact with appearing knowledgeable. Riverside Auto is not a typical fly by night operation and from now on will get all by business.

I brought my '98 Audi A6 in due to a catastrophic oil cooler failure. Thought the engine was toast, but these guys managed to get the engine back to a nice purr. The mechanics here know exactly what they are talking about and walk you through the repair step-by-step so there is no stone left unturned. The customer service was great and the price of the repair was very reasonable (not the typical overcharge for an "import" vehicle)! I definitely trust the crew at Riverside to work on my car! I have ALREADY been recommending them to friends at school and will absolutely bring my car back if any future service is needed. Overall fantastic experience! Everything you want in a repair shop: reliable, trustworthy, honest, highly skilled, and FAIR!

I started going to Riverside with my older Audi after the local foreign expert garage closed. I am not in the habit of writing negative business reviews but I am writing this after being yelled at by the owner, Harry, who said he did not care if I wrote a negative review because he had 100's of positive ones already. Reading about Riverside Automotive, I see I am not the only one with negative experiences. I brought my 2011 Audi A3 here for oil changes after my other mechanic closed. After the 1st & the 3rd oil changes, after parking overnight, I found a huge oil puddle under the car. Harry said, "oh, bring it in". We must have forgotten the thing-a-ma-jig. BUT, this happened not once, but twice! Then, since an oil change earlier this year, I have had a steady leak, a four inch oil drip every night. I went to the Audi dealer in Pennsylvania for a recall and mentioned the oil leak. He said the wrong gasket was placed. Instead of paying for a new oil change there, I asked Harry to fix this. Harry said he hated when the dealers spoke badly about local mechanics & he changed the oil again. STILL LEAKING. I called Harry the next day, left a message. I called two days later & again left a message. I was told Harry would return my call but he was busy with a new business. I left for 2 weeks & called again upon my return. I was told the note to return my call was on Harry's desk. I was told he had recently been ill. I responded that since I had been trying to reach Harry for 3 weeks, if he did not return my call soon I would resort to social media. Harry called back, yelling at me, saying he had been very sick for the last week. I told him I was glad he was better but I had called twice prior to his being ill & he had not returned my call. He said he was going through a divorce, was busy starting up a new business, & had trained his manager to handle these calls. I responded that I would have spoken to his manager but I was repeatedly told the message was on Harry's desk. As to the persistent leak, Harry said he had to look at the car again. It could be one of many problems. Follow-up: I went back to Pittsburgh. They changed the gasket & NO MORE OIL LEAK!! Riverside Auto/Harry are Rude, provide Poor Service, Defective Service, do not have the correct gaskets for a simple oil change for foreign cars. Go Somewhere Else!

Never went there for work but have dealt with the owner before. Not a very nice fellar who thinks he knows absolutely everything and that he's the smartest person ever. Definitely not a good humble Christian man like he claims. Edit: dude the sube shop has better reviews than you and didn't have to pay for it with free oil changes. On top of that they're actually good people and honest. Second edit: don't blame good because you aren't humble that's on you not the big man upstairs. I've heard you call all other mechanics idiots, thou shall not judge through right? Whoever is filthy let him be filthy still tis not your place to cast judgement.

I went there for some rattle check.I got the result after tow hours waiting(appointment was 8AM).1.front rattle is due to malfunction of sway bar links/bushings and they quoted $752 for rep($168 parts); 2.rear rattle is from exhaust and I was told the whole exhaust(not broken) have to be replaced(it's the whole system!!!) with quote $2160($2000 parts)!!!!! I asked if the exhaust could be fixed, the mechanic said NO! It's unbelievable! I can't accept it and doute it definitely.I don't wanna go look down anybody, but very regretfully the fact takes my side! I climbed into bottom of my car to check the exhaust in the next morning and found one of three stabilizers unfastened!!! What I did just put it back with some lube, then the rattle was gone! Dose it look like easy to make $2000? Is it absurd that a sign "something with God(I don't think God would take care of people like that!!!) " standing in this store? Is it ashamed to charge me $43 for diagnosis? Be careful and good luck!

These guys are straight up. I went in here on a whim because it was right next to Aldi's where I was picking up groceries. I walked in & told Harry the owner I needed a nail in my tire plugged. He told me it'd be about $30 to fully take it off and vulcanize it from the inside, which sounded great to me, and he didn't even mention any other "extras" or try to sell me a bunch of bullshit and filter replacements. None at all, I haven't seen that anywhere else tbh lol. He said that it'd take maybe half an hour to do, and they could get to it in about an hour if I left my car there. I was uneasy at first because I was on a (flexible, but not totally free) schedule, but I then found out they have a shuttle to take you to & from wherever you need to go around town while you wait. Awesome! He went in the shop for a minute and came back, told me that the guys were at a stopping point and could actually just service my car right then. Hell yeah. I got a cup of coffee, chilled with the shop dog Dallas, and witnessed the employees make friendly banter with some of the patrons, and was in & out in less than an hour, while being pretty entertained the whole time to boot. It was pretty crazy to see such a friendly atmosphere and the guys be so honest & at ease with the customers. Can't recommend enough.

I dealt with several auto shops over the years and none have came close to the experience I've had with them. I wish I could add more stars to this review. More than fair pricing and the all the work was done in a timely manner. I would recommend their business above all other shops in the area by FAR. Great jobs guys and keep up the good work. I was having a tough time and left with a big smile and warm feeling after dealing with Riveside Auto. I could not have been treated any better. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. I am only writing this review to help save someone else from the TERRIBLE service I received from Harry Sprouse, owner of Riverside Automotive. I do not want to put the workers in the same boat as the owner. I took my car here to do a motor swap after calling many shops. Harry talks a good game and sold me on allowing his shop to work on my car. Well 4 months later, my car was still in his shop. After having my car at Riverside Automotive for 4 months, I demanded to have my car back so I could take it somewhere else. Harry became very irate, cursing at me telling me “f*** you” and called the police on me to have me removed from the shop. I was then informed by the officers that they have had this problem , with Harry and Riverside Automotive, multiple times before. Harry refused to give me a refund and told me that the car runs just fine even though I still had to call a tow truck to get the car out of his shop. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. HE IS A SCAM ARTIST

WORST PLACE IN MORGANTOWN!!! Take your money, no, steal your money. Say they fixed your car. When clearly they havent. Lies about it. Tells your car needs $100s in work when it clearly dont!!! RIPOFF ARTISTS!!! CON ARTISTS!!! They say towtruck drivers are low....well. These guys take over that spot and clearly earned and deserve it!! Background: We took a car here, which wasnt in any need of service. We had it checked out by master mechanics prior to going here. We took videos and pictures. Took it here. Wow. They said we had a bad engine. Needed replaced. Leaked oil. There were other issues that needed "urgent and immediate attention". Funny. Cause. No it didnt. Said they could get us an engine for $2500. Labor was $3000. Plus the other issues they found wrong with the car!!! JOKE!! After their "gimmick sales pitch" and just downright dishonest approach. We then told the guy who was writing up our estimate and the owner who stood there playing with his phone listening...that our car had zero issues. And that we had deliberately poured used oil on top of the engine, etc etc.... He became defensive. Telling us they didnt make any mistakes and clearly showed it was a bad engine!! We countered with...sir, we have videos and statements from our mechanics saying there was nothing wrong and we poured oil on it. This was planned. And you tell us it needs a new engine!!! He became hostile and cussed. Screamed. Even went so far as to call RACIST BIGOT NAMES!! Clearly this place is run by a deject!! Guys who cant get a real job as mechanics. Clearly no training!! @@UPDATE@@ Three of the mechanics quit. One was arrested. Owner has lawsuits aginst him. Clearly this place is just a front!! BEWARE. RUN. DONT GO HERE!!!!! WORST PLACE IN THE QUAD STATE AREA!!

My biggest regret is that I didn't hear about Riverside sooner, because I am about to move out of state!! Tom took me out to my car after the mechanics looked it over and showed me all of the things that needed to be fixed. I've been through that drill before at other garages and I always end up feeling like they're just taking advantage of me, but not this time. Not to mention the fact that they were able to do all the work on the same day! I was floored that I didn't have to make another appointment. They had a shuttle and drove me back to work so I didn't have to call for a ride, which was really convenient. Finally, when I got back to pick up my car afterwards, they had completely cleaned my car, too! Washed, waxed, vacuumed and dusted the whole thing...I couldn't believe it. "Just part of the service," Tom says to me. I would say so! A special thanks to Tom also, for being so understanding and helpful. You really made this experience as painless as spending a bunch of money on car repairs can be. :) I would recommend Riverside to anyone and everyone.

It turned out to be a very minor issue that was easy to fix so they didn't charge me! Will definitely be returning back here in the future.
