It was a while ago that we purchased two vehicles from a guy who didn’t know anything about them. The GM Ryan made lots of promises and didn’t follow up at all. I wasted so much time going back and fourth from Nashville to Murfreesboro to try to resolve the issues. The service warranty they sell is garbage. We paid over $60 a service for a $21 value and still have to pay for covered services. Think twice before buying anything extra or anything at all from this dealership

We had a great experience with Austin buying a new Hyundai. Car buying can be stressful and like a "battle of wills" in some situations, but that was not our experience with this dealership. Austin was extremely patient and acted like our interests were the most important thing on his plate. This was the most laid back car buying experience ever, which in my mind is the best kind of car buying experience. We would happily go back to this dealership and work with Austin again. My son bought a used 17 Murano from this dealership. The sale went great. Mike done his job and got the money and closed the deal and made everyone happy. The problem is we cant get these knuckle heads in service to get the weowe done. The vehicle had been dropped off twice for exhaust work and perma plate. The first time the car never got touched in all the time it was there. No one contacted us to let us know that they wouldn't be able to get the work done because it had to be out sourced. So the vehicle sat there most of the day with nothing being done. Now it has come back from the second time when it was supposed to be all scheduled and for sure going to be done they assured us. Well yea you guessed it. Exhaust work done but no perma plate and still no contact to let us know when to pick it up. We had to just show up again to find out they would not be able to get to the perma plate for some reason. The service side of this business is horrible and iN need of new management if they are to grow their service business. The sales experience was great. But I urge you DO NOT take your care here for service and expect anything but mediocre service at best. If the owner knows this kind of stuff is going on allows it and accepts it then he/she/they should reconsider their business model because this one just plain SUCKS!!!

I cannot stress enough how happy I am to do business with Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen. When you talk about a business going the extra mile they went above and beyond… for me and my wife they actually went an extra 1,700 miles. You see my wife and I live in Billings, Montana. We had a problem getting the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted in Montana. The fine folks at Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen in Tennessee learned of our dilemma and reached out to us to help. At first we were skeptical they would be able to help us as we were so far away. But boy did they come through! They found us the Red 2019 Kona SEL we wanted. They had it shipped from a dealership in Kentucky to their dealership in Tennessee. Once they had it they cleaned it up and had it shipped to our front door in Montana! You are probably thinking that we were silly to work with a dealership so far from home and that we probably spent a lot more to buy our vehicle this way. You may be surprised to learn we actually saved $4,000 dollars by working with them. We financed through another company and we declined the dealer extras, but still they worked with us. So how does buying from so far away work? Well they made it very easy for us. We paid a $500 deposit to show we were serious buyers then they secured the car from Kentucky. Once they had it they sent us our paperwork overnight through UPS. We spoke with their finance director by phone and went through everything together. They answered all of our questions and get this… they told us to wait to submit our payment until we had our vehicle here in Montana and had a chance to look at it and make sure it was everything we expected. I am sure Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen does enough business in their own backyard that they could have just went about their business as usual… but they saw an opportunity to help us so far away and they seized it. Now how did they hear of our problem in the first place? Well in full disclosure; one of their salesmen is my wife’s uncle. He knew we’d been looking for a while and he knew we recently had a bad experience in Montana. It was he who went to his manager and shared our story. His manager didn’t blink an eye and asked how they could help? That’s how it all started. If this dealership is willing to go the extra 1,700 miles to help us, I can only imagine what they will do for those in their own backyard. We’ll be looking to add another vehicle in 2020. I don’t know what it will be just yet, but I do know from where it will come. Murfreesboro Hyundai Volkswagen you guys have made a raving fan out of me. Let me start off saying, although I love my 2016 Dodge Journey but the experience we went through to get it was unbelievable I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy! Murfreesboro Hyundai VW is the worst, most unprofessional, and rude car lot I have EVER been to in my life! First we went because my husband wanted to purchase a van, so he called talked to a salesman “Austin” about a white Town & Country van 2015 I believe that was advertised online and on Facebook. My husband explained over the phone that he wanted to purchase the van for me also purchase a small SUV for our daughter who is an college student so they knew we was coming to make 2 purchases. We talked to Austin and Peggy they got all our information and we made an appointment to come in the following Saturday, March 9, 2019 we got there and Austin was all of a sudden to busy to greet us so he passed us off to Victor. Then Austin told us “oh we just sold that van an hour ago” mind you Austin called us that Saturday at 11am to confirm we was still coming at 1pm and told us he would pull the van to the back so no one would see it. So first strike! My husband was so upset and disappointed he immediately wanted to leave but Victor was so nice and apologized that I had to talk my husband into staying (that was an huge mistake on my end, I wish we would’ve just left) so Victor showed us the Dodge Journey and we agreed to purchase it. We brought the SUV, the A/C had issues so I called back and had an appointment on what I thought was Saturday, March 16 we got there and no one had us down for an appointment we drove from Nashville for nothing so we demanded that someone looked at our car so they gave us a loaner and Matt is service was so rude and unprofessional to us, they kept our SUV for a full week and I called every day left messages Matt refused to call me back to give me any updates. While my SUV was there someone was supposed to run it through expectation well that didn’t happen. Then I had to come back bc Jay in Finance screwed up and didn’t get me to sign the correct paperwork to close the sale. So we had to drive to Murfreesboro every week for 3 weeks! I had to call Debbie several times to inquire about my tags and sticker then she advise me that I had to take my own car through marta and sent them proof. I have never heard of this before, every car I have brought the car lot did this for me. So I had to pay for this myself, send them a picture and then I finally get my tags. Then I get my tags and registration my name was misspelled, no one offered an apology or anything. Then to top everything once I picked my car up from being serviced we drive around the back and guess what we see the white Town & Country van that we wanted to original purchased, Austin lied to us! It was the exact same van, same year, everything why did Austin lie to us and tell us it was sold? At the end no one said thank you, we are sorry for the bad service, we are sorry you had to drive up here 3 weeks in a row, we are sorry we didn’t get the SUV expected through the state for you nothing! Oh and you better believe we didn’t dare buy our daughter a SUV from there, we wouldn’t send our worst enemy to this place. We will stick with the places in Nashville for better treatment and better service and a company that does not lie! I asked Tre to have the manager to call me and of course my emails and voicemails went unanswered! Sad, they should shut this place down!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. After my experience at this location I will never purchase anything from here EVER! We kept getting thrown around. We wanted to drive one vehicle and Sim kept trying to force us to drive another. We asked several questions never got answers. We was rushed thru the whole process and then acted like we never mattered. We never got to meet the sales guy we went there to see. While Sim was working with us he kept stopping to go help other people and other sales people kept bringing him people while he was in the middle of talking to us. Then he wanted to drop us like flies and go help everyone else. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time going here.

The people at Hyundai of Murfreesboro are nice. Unfortunately, that is the only polite thing I can say about them. I scheduled an appointment to have basic service done on my wife’s car. Once I got there, things got off to a rough start. They informed me they didn’t have part and had to drive to another location to get said part. Fast forward 3.75 hrs later and they inform me that the part they thought was needed was wrong. They then stated that they needed to order the part and it would be another week. As a customer, they wasted my time. As a former auto tech, they wasted the techs time. They had my vin, and yet still managed to not check to see that the correct part was ordered. So needless to say I will never go back to that dealer. I’m sure this is not typical for this dealership. And the silver lining is that I sold my wife’s Hyundai and got her into an Acura. If you do have business here, PLEASE make sure they use the vehicles VIN to order the correct part before you waste half a day.

Unless you live out of state, there is really no reason to buy your Hyundai anywhere else. I am on my second Hyundai and the exceptional service before, during and after the sale is second to none. My sales guy, Manny Gonzalez, was phenomenal! This guy not only walked me through every detail of the car but had extreme patience with me as he wrote up two different vehicles before I could make my mind up on the color. I had a bit of a special situation while obtaining my vehicle so to cut to the chase, Manny and Bobby, the sales manager, were able to take care of it to make sure the transaction went through. They were very open about options and really put forth the effort to ensure I was satisfied with the deal. No complaints!

I will have to say hands down the service department along with the parts department are very busy but i must say these people are very brilliant in every way. They look for ways to save you money by giving you the proper maintenance on your vehicle based on both time and mileage. I went in for a brake noise and ended up replacing them, although they found other items wrong, I felt as I was not pressured but was relieved that what needed to be done was explained very well to say the least. I agreed to do the work and now I am good for a good while. Really like going here and will continue to do service here along with purchasing my next car as well.

I was looking at a 2017 Ioniq that was still "new". Figured I could get a great deal and from the pictures it only had over 100mi on it. They send me a purchase order on my inquiry and their "best" price is $4,000 MORE including taxes etc than what I can get a 2019 for. Do yourselves a favor and go anywhere else but here. Well unless you like being ripped off and paying way more.

We bought a used Hyundai Santa Fe Limited Ultimate in October of 2018 and has become a jekyll/hide story. First, the purchase experience was great. Troy was our salesman and he was over accommodating. There were some small delays relative to the dealership messing up and you could tell he was genuinely concerned in getting them corrected in effort to give us a good experience. So, I would say the purchase experience was great with many thanks to Troy. What has followed thereafter has been less than stellar. In March we went to get our tires rotated at our local mechanic and after the tires were rotated, we heard a very loud humming noise coming from the rear wheelbase. We took it back to our mechanic immediately and he stated that there was uneven "wavy" wear on our tires and that there could be an issue with our struts and at the least, the alignment had been off for a considerable amount of time. Being that we were under warranty, we scheduled our car to go to the dealership. They told us to drop is off at 8am for our 1pm appointment. By 3pm I had yet to hear anything from the dealership, so I called. They said that our car was getting looked at (this was after being on hold for 21 minutes). I called again at 4pm...same story (on hold for 17 minutes). Finally, at 5pm I let them know that we needed our car because I had to take one of our kids to soccer, etc having expected to have our car back. They immediately said we will get back to you in 5 minutes. The shop manager called back and said our alignment was off. Having purchased our car under warranty and certified, the alignment should have been checked before we purchased it, but it was not. They did align it, but now we have 4 tires so out of balance that they cannot be fixed and we have the constant road noise to deal with. I asked the used car sales manager to replace the four tires, and he said that he will get back to me. I have called 2 times and even talked to him at the dealership, but yet have never received a phone call of resolution. You would think after paying $30k for a vehicle, they would try to make it right.

Tried to scam us out of an extra $1,000 just because we would not finance with them when the salesman was told, that we already planned to finance through the bank after putting $5,000 down, and gave us a set number last night.. So after already being approved by the bank for the rest, today it was an extra $1,000 because we didn't finance with them.. Pleased to take my money else where!

I'm going to try my best to be objective here, and tell you why i will not be coming back, nor would i recommend purchasing or servicing any vehicle here. Please note I used to work at this dealership when it was under different ownership, and left due to poor management. I've taken my car back for diagnostics on issues for my personal mechanic to resolve because i live in the area...Recently went in due to oil consumption issues, and was told i would have to bring it back regularly for testing... Despite my optimistic outlook, things only seem to get worse and worse every time i come back. Whether it's awkward conversations with advisers or managers, failure to meet the expectations they set for themselves(prepare to spend two hours waiting for a oil change, regardless if an appointment was made), or just poor communication skills this dealership has given me nothing but personal woes. I took my Sonata to Hyundai of cool springs, and they did an AMAZING job fixing all the customer service issues i had with this dealership. Even if they offered me a free car off their lot of my choosjng, pending i always bring it back to them for service, i would gladly turn that down....that's how mediocre the whole team is here, and it trickles down from the top. Purchase and get your car serviced anywhere but here...you may find yourself in similar shoes. **UPDATE**to the "GM" that responded to my review. Your dealership has waisted enough of my time, sir. Hyundai of cool springs has been completely successful in getting corporate to replace my engine, at NONE of the cost your team recommends. If you care to resolve this complaint, youll take the time to use my name to find my contact information in your system and reach out to me. My review has enough detail to address your team.

I had a terrible experience with Downtown Hyundai and drove an extra 30 minutes to get to this Hyundai dealership. The staff was wonderful. Manny was very patient with me while I looked for a replacement for my Accent. The Sales Manager was very nice and patient with me as well. My Finance person was absolutely hysterical. The GM even popped in to check on me and ask about the experience at Downtown Hyundai. Everyone made my experience wonderful. Looking forward to working with them in the future.
