Barley ever open due to issues and only one wash bay....Please someone else open a Cloister on west side of York and crush this place. If it's descent weather, wash your own vehicle...it will be cleaner & done faster.

The car wash does a decent job for the price and the free vacuums at the end are great. However do NOT pay for any of the add ons like tire shine etc. Nothing different actually gets applied but your wallet is $6 lighter. Happened to me more than once so I stick to the $10 wash now. Their interior services are not competitively priced compared to Mister.

I paid for the ultimate wash which was full exterior and interior, my wheels on my truck were still covered in brake dust with streaks that look like it was attempted, my interior had dust and dirt still on the dash, they never even touched my center console with the cup holders which was listed in description, complete waste of money

If you're looking to knock the dirt off the car and have a free vacuum then this is the place for you. If you want a real cleaning, look elsewhere. Their unlimited washes is a great thing to have at the end of winter to knock a lot of salt off the car, but their prewash is getting to the point of pathetic. The "ultimate" wash doesn't actually clean much other than vacuum the floor mostly, wipe the top of the dashboard mostly, and swipe at the windows and some of the bugs on your grill. After years of talking my truck here I'm seriously contemplating taking it elsewhere due to pure laziness in younger employees and endless excuses from youthful managers.

My 2015 Ford Escape and I were first time customers at Apple Express Car Wash on Marbrook Lane in York this morning. I opted for the $32 Ultimate Package which includes towel drying and cleaning the interior, windows, vacuum, etc. I am happy to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The exterior car wash was average in length and cleanliness. I expected the interior service to be similar to Walmart and other places where they vacuum but never lift the rugs. The service team spent over 30 minutes on my car. They pulled all of the rugs out, scrubbed the plastic mat in the back, washed every one of the windows, the dashboard and even the mirrors. I swear my Escape looks and smells brand new. Kelly, the customer service representative and all of the staff I came into contact with were friendly, pleasant and courteous. Since leaving their facility I have told just about every person I have come in contact with about them and even showed a few people my car. I HIGHLY recommend this great company and their services. I know I will be a returning customer for life.

Good car wash with plenty of open hours. For the price, I'd expect s little better pre-wash. The guys seem to put minimal effort into brushing the front and back of my car. I have complained to the manager but it made no difference. Mechanical breakdowns also seem to be a problem. Although a completely new wash system was installed in the spring of 2018, there are days when it still breaks down. Show me a little better service and keep your equipment running and I'd improve your rating.

Good price for unlimited plan. Staff is great. Only complaints would be...1) The tire shine doesn’t seem to do anything. 2) The kids doing the pre-rinse rarely hit more than a fender on each side. With 2 kids and 2 pressure washers, it would be nice if they could hit the whole car with a quick rinse.

Offers reasonable prices for auomated exterior car cleaning. Best in town!! Live attendant instructs before the experience. Have never had a bad experience here. For an additional cost they offer detailing. I've not used this latter service but will like to one day, trusting nothing but excellence from one of York County's most thriving dealerships that best cater to customer service!!

Bought car and interior wash, $34 and was very disappointed. The exterior wash wasn’t bad but the interior wasn’t great. First off when I pulled up after the wash I was told it would be about an hour. Not a problem I had nothing going on the rest of the afternoon. It took close to two hours before I got out of there. Was never asked if I wanted an air freshener either. No one even apologized for the additional time!! Will not be returning to Apple Car Wash and will not be recommending it to anyone either.

Staff does not give a damn. Only good one is Charlie, Apple management does not give a damn, called 4 times in 4 month and told them about garbage cans always full, vacuums not working and they told me they will refund my 6 memberships and don't come back. Was trying to help them make carwash better, Told me to go elsewhere, okay I will, sorry for good employees.

This is a short version of my experience with this car wash. I paid for a gold membership and used 5 times even though I visited this place 8 times. They have malfunctions quite often and they close the entrance and therefore you can't use the service. On the 5 times I could use the service I only got the entire gold wash in 2 of them. When I decided to cancel the lady was kind enough to tell me that the triple foam was broken down and they would fix it on that same night, but she couldn't explain why it didn't worked the last 2 times I used on the last two weeks. I just think it is completely unfair to charge for a service you are not really offering to your consumer. If you are considering using it, I would advise to purchase the silver membership.

I was using the monthly wash plan for ten years. Sometimes the wash didn't get the vehicle clean and required a rewash. Now after all these years they are telling me I need to remove the roof bars and trailer hitch from my Jeep to use the wash and this was never required before. I had taken of my antenna but nothing else and was fine. I was told that keeps and trucks were damaging the wash machinery. I have cancelled my plan and plan to not return. Not posting any notice or any communication with customers of a policy change until you are in the wash bay is not acceptable.

I had always loved the apple car wash. I bought my 2018 honda civic last year brand new with only 12 miles on it right away signed up for the unlimited car washes for $19.99. I was disappointed to find that not even 2 months after signing up for this package the fee was increased to $24.99. I used to take my car through car wash twice & then spend 45 min-1 hr vacuuming. I've only ever taken my car to apple car wash & now a y ear & a half later my car is totally covered in faint circular scratches from front to back. Basically every square inch of my paint job has been lightly scratched from the apple car wash cloth scrubbers. The unlimited vacuum feature is great though. The suction on them gets everything out of all the nooks and crannies in my car. Plus if u accidentally suck something up by mistake you can get it out because the attendants empty canisters daily & are able to retrieve anything u accidentally sucked up, if u need them to.

Have been here twice, unfortunately the 1st time I got a wash and wax. It was supposed to have been removed from the menu, I offered to have it removed so they didn't need to do it. They said it was OK and would take do it since I purchased it. I didn't notice it that night, but the next morning in the dawn sun I noticed a large section of my roof was still coated in wax, as well as part of my sun roof. Played phone tag for a bit, then gave up. Went back about two weeks ago to try again. just got a wash and interior. Car looked great outside, but as I was driving away, the back window looked as if it had some how been missed on one side. Already had been there for an hour, so wasn't going back to sit again. Will try somewhere new.

10/10/17 6:48pm purchased a deluxe wash. While conveyor belt pulled car through wash there was NO WATER OR SOAP. We blew our horn, they stopped the conveyor belt and asked us what was wrong. How can this happen? No water while the brushes beat against my car? Then when the attendant had me pull around to go through again... I was given the cheap wash, instead of the one I paid for. Very disappointed. Buyer beware.

I have used an Apple carwash subscription for several months earlier this year. I love the ease of having a clean car without stepping outside of it, further doing so while on my way to work. Each experience has cleaned my car well, I appreciate the free vacuum service as well for when I have the extra time, nevertheless I recently ran into a problem. In June I decided to spend my money on some other priorities; I discontinued my membership at the Red Lion location. Two months later, I found that they had still charged my card each month for washes I was not using. Taking action, I called in and had them cancel the membership and refund the amount. Here at the start of my fall college semester, I watch my bank statement carefully for budget purposes, only to find my membership was still active. I understand mistakes happen, but this was the third time I had to cancel my membership. I spoke on the phone to a team member by the name of Rory. He was not only helpful and kind, but he offered a refund and an arrangement of free washes when his manager was next in. I called in, later on, to speak with Kelly and although she refunded my money, she rushed the conversation and was rude on the phone. Things have been "reconciled" but I dislike the service from whoever had never canceled my membership and the poor attitude of Kelly.

I had to stop here yesterday after finding out that my dealership didn't provide free car washes with service. The full service price was kind of steep at $34, but that got you a full wash, tire treatment, hand dry, vacuumed, windows cleaned. The reason it is only getting 3 stars is because that price should have gotten my dash board cleaned (and they forgot) and should have gotten me a fragrance (also forgotten and I wasn't even asked). I would give it 5 stars and promote this place, but I can't do that when included items are forgotten.

Good for a quick wash but you have to check it over. Not always a quality inside clean depending on who you get for the inside. Can be frustrating to pay $35 to still have a dirty car do to a lazy employee.

This automotive wash is by far one of the best in the area and it’s all due to the people that work there and manage the facility. The hard working staff actually cares about the end result. Having worked there myself I admit this may seem biased. But I feel the need to note that considering the volume of satisfied customers they clearly are doing something right. Will they get it right every time… absolutely not. It may not look like it from a glace but the car wash is actually a very complex machine. A machine with a lot of moving parts all based on timing. It too may not always get it right. But it’s better than washing a car by hand right? Thanks Apple Car Wash Express!
