I stopped here for an oil change first thing in the morning and it ended up taking 3 hours because they had a miscommunication that I was waiting for my car, despite the giant "WAITER" stamp on the top of my work order. I felt like I got a little bit of a runaround on whether my car was actually being worked on, since I was told it was going to the car wash 3 separate times. In the end I didn't pay for the oil change, which was fair considering I was there 4 times longer than I needed to be. At least they tried to make it right, and that's not lost on me. I understand mistakes happen but I would have much preferred honesty and just being told "we messed up, we thought you were dropping your car and we're working on it now. It'll be done in XX minutes."

I had an issue but I have to say, Keith Solomon reached out to me. He told me that he was calling to Help Me. What he did next was listened to what I had to say, asked some questions and explained to me that he would correct the issue. I didn't know what to think after the call but was impressed. Then he called me back. Because of Keith my opinion of Vin Devers was changed. I look forward doing business with Vin Devers and Keith Solomon again.

Those who have given 5 stars must have never used the service department at Vin Devers. Horrible service from the moment i walked in until i picked my vehicle up 3 weeks later. These guys care nothing about me or my car. its all about the $$$$$$$$ and they took plenty of that. never again. they took me twice but my business is going to Tiffin even if i have to drive and hour away!

My experience has not always been pleasant with any service but all that changed with Scott. He was attentive and made my experience the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, the vehicle developed some clutch issues within the first 30 days (warranty). Vin Devers honored the warranty, even more so than I expected. My vehicle was not as expensive as most of the brands, but they treated me with integrity, respect, honor, and for that I am grateful. 6 out of 5 stars!! That is right. We came in just to look for a car and ended up walking out with a Mercendes Benz C300. The facility itself was very open and clean. As soon as we sat down, we were welcomed by staff that walked by us. Your really do not get this much attention with many dealerships. Our salesman Sammy really walked us through each step, answering any questions and concerns we had on the way. He had pride in being apart of the Mercedes Benz family and knew so much about each vehicle. This was beneficial to us because we were able to find the car to suit all of our needs very quickly. He even knew more than my husband that has dealt with cars all his life. Once we found the car him and his manager Tim were able to really work with us with pricing. Sammy then took his time with my husband teaching him all about the car and its features. We were out with our new car by the next day ( because we had insure the vehicle). I was looking for months for a very specific vehicle and Vin Devers was the first reputable dealer I found that had it. First impression of the dealership was great. Very nice and professional. Dick was my salesman. Test drove the car and was ready to do business that day. Asked Dick for the checklist of their inspection he said he’d run and get it for me. Moments later the mechanic walks in and says car hadn’t been inspected yet. Dick sets me up w an appointment the following day to come back and finalize the deal so they’d have time to inspect it. I show up, cars not ready. The manager says they’re putting new tires on for me since the others were worn out and they’ll drop it to me Monday, which gave them the entire weekend. Monday comes, no call from Dick for a drop time. So I call to see what’s up. Gives me the run around that the tires are getting put on and they’ll drop it later on and he’d call me w a delivery time. End of the day comes, no call. So I call again. Dick give some me another story that they had to “order the tires” it won’t be ready for another day or two. At this point I’m mad. Asked to speak w a manager and Dick refused to give the phone to the manager saying “wait no the tires are on now we will deliver to tomorrow”. I insist to make a formal complaint and Dick finally gives up the phone to Ramon who was a total rock star and straightened everything out. 3 stars since the car is great, dealership is clean, mechanic was very nice, and new tires BUT horrible sales process and Dick wasn’t knowledgeable at all. Basic sales 101, “I’m not sure the answer to that sir, but let me find out for you so I don’t mislead you”. Instead Dick spun a web of lies that got him this exhausting review. Cheers

On a business road trip I encountered a flat tire on the highway as I was traveling from Cincinnati to Detroit. Since I was staying the night in Toledo, I reached out to Vin Devers Audi for some help to get a new tire to safely get back home. I spoke with Conor who was very responsive, followed through getting the tire the following morning and was ready for me when I arrived in the early afternoon. The process was seamless and much appreciated not having to travel back to Chicago on a spare tire. Afterwards, the General Manager, Jason Perry, was very generous talking about the company heritage, a very rare car on the showroom floor and recent developments of the Toledo area. I would highly recommend the team at Vin Devers!

Vin Devers always exceeds expectations. This isn’t your average dealership. The customer satisfaction here is insane for every single department. For sales, everyone is amazing. I’ve personally always worked with Harry Shah and he’s always provided what we’ve requested, even after the sale. Him and Mike (the finance manager) are the reason why we’ve leased 4-5 vehicles and purchased two brand new vehicles. For service, same concept. You can walk into service and anyone you work with will go above and beyond your expectations, whether they’re a porter or a service advisor. My go-to has been Scott Bayer because he’ll always go the extra mile to make sure my experience was nothing less than phenomenal. For example, I came in for a check engine light on my vehicle. Not only did Scott diagnose my vehicle within minutes, he also checked my alignment, my brakes, and when my last oil change was before I left. This is definitely my preferred dealership (I don’t live remotely close to it but they’ll still valet my vehicle) because of the fantastic customer satisfaction.

My experience with this dealership was so amazing! The entire staff was so kind, knowledgeable and extremely professional. By far the best person I dealt with was Chris Micheaux in the Service Department. He made what could have been a terrible day great! I hit a pothole, and did a ton of damage, Chris got me back on the road and made me even laugh in less than an hour. I didn't miss any of my meetings that day because of him. I'll always go back to Vin Devers because of this level of service and professionalism they all showed me. So this is my second time buying a car from Vin Devers and From Ziad. If that doesn't say it, let me give you some insight. I'm from out of state and saw the car listing. Texted Ziad and within just few minutes he called me and told me all the details about the car. He sent me detailed picture and when I asked for more he sent me more details pictures. He also sent my on online package with all the details about the vehicle including the CarFax, service records, etc. I asked about my trade-in and he asked me for a VIN and pictures. He gave me a range that was satisfactory to me. I drove over to the dealership on Saturday, only to find him and Brian waiting. The car was waiting right there shiny and ready to be test-driven. Liked the car and they had the paperwork ready. In under two hours I was driving home with my new ride. I noticed couple tings with the car, so I texted Ziad on Sunday and he was very responsive and offered to send someone to pickup the car and even provide me with a loaner while he takes care of the issue. In short, those guys and all who work in this dealership went above and beyond. I felt at home and don't ever remember having a better car buying experience in the 20+ cars I bought in my life. Unfortunately they ( Dick ) don't sell cars to foreigners and non Americans - very racist, despite having a valid creditcard, driving license , valid ID , etc. They pretend all ok and then you receive an e mail after days that the car is not for sale anymore - I will also reach out to Mercedes Benz US with this issue . Upon getting in a very Trumatic accident with my two children I brought my vehicle into Vin Devers body shop for an estimate. Upon my first visit there Bob in the body shop was very inviting and made me feel very comfortable and at ease given the circumstances. He immediately took my car in and called enterprise for me. I was moving out of state to Indiana the following week and was kind of nervous about my car being so far away however the body shop and the service managers Made me feel at ease and answered all of my questions and Calls very promptly. Saved the Day! I was in Toledo for Memorial Day weekend when I blew a tire. Though their service department was closed for the Holiday, the service manager, Keith Solomon called me back to understand my problem. He then found one of his Service Advisors, Brandon, who was around and who could come in to help me secure a new tire. Brandon knocked out the paperwork so I could get on my way as quickly to the event I was in town for. I was out the door with the replacement tire in about 20 minutes. With over 12 visits to various MB dealers, from Novi mi, down to WestPalm Fl , this was the absolute worst experience i have experienced with regards to my Mercedes. In 12 service visits, spread between 3 Mercedes i i have owned, this dealer stucks out as the worst. Its weird that a person brings in his $120,000 car, and has to chase down a service rep. Not once did the MB personal address me. I had to wait a full 30min, just to jave them hastle me on warranty, where i bought from, and STILL have no resolution to my issue. (Air leak in tire). Where other people come in after me, and got service first. Just having to get out the car, sit there while 4 people talked about Elvis, what year someone graduated. Constantly having fun something else to do, versus resolve a simple issue. THEN when presented with the option, agter waiting a good 90min, they dont have the item in stock. Tiresssss.. From now on, ill drive the 60 miles to Ann Arbor, to be greated at the car. To be addressed immediately to resolve an issue.. this experience reminds me of a ford dealership.. not a MB dealership. $120,000 car, with treatment as if it was a Hyundai.. Customer service.. the pinnacle of purchasing.. especially with >120,000 automobile.. is lacking. I dont feel comfortable with them even checking my oil.. i can imagine how long an OIL change would take , if it tool 90min, just to give me the run around.. Go to Ann Arbor MB. They treat EVERY customer, as if they bought a Maybach versus the look down attitude RECIEVED at Vin Devers MB. And i noticed thay they carefully didnt write up anything with regards to my CPO Mercedes. Just to avoid the survey, via Mercedes.. highly disappointed.

Chris Stang has the awesome combination of professionalism and being very personable. Women are not generally dealt with appropriately at dealerships. But my experience with Chris at Vin Devers is easily rated as the very best I have had in all the years that I have leased and bought cars. Love love love the service staff, Jason Perry awesome, but lets have a discussion about that sales staff !! Terribly non attentive to customers sitting in the showroom. I sat in the showroom for a hour 1 salesperson said hello . Two walked directly past me said not a word !!! The rest of the team gets it as far as customer service . But if your sales staff cannot be courteous that’s a issue!!! Everyone customer in there could be a repeat customer only if the experience is positive . Jason and the service staff and Autum are simply the best !!! Sales staff not so much !!!

Left with the Infinity G37x I came in looking for one specific car only to find out there was already a deal on it to someone else. Ziad was helpful, friendly and patient. He showed me 2 other cars in my price range tho I didn't like them, I upped my max price for the G37x. I think it was worth it. A week with it already and running smoothly. Only one problem was with the cigarette lighter fuse. The extra fuses in the car also did not make it work. Taking it to them today to have it checked. Only a few low priced used cars but still happy with my purchase.

Dear DealerRater, Chris Stang was truly a beacon of light for me. Please let me explain. I first met Chris when I dropped in to Vin Devers unannounced, and he happened to be there. I had been attempting to locate a used Audi S5 or S4, with a manual transmission, low miles, no accidents - in other words, a needle in a haystack. I had searched all the usual websites, but was still at a loss - there were a few cars out there that seemed to meet the requirements, but they were scattered all over, and it wasn't at all clear to me which one I should be trying for. Chris took an interest in my quest from the start, and quickly searched Audi's financial and auction sites for suitable cars. Unfortunately, nothing came up. As I continued searching, and came across additional prospects, Chris invited me back to the dealership, and went over the potential cars with me, looking them up on the dealership's website, reviewing the positives and negatives on the cars I had focused on. One vehicle in particular seemed to fit the bill, and Chris was good enough to let me know that I was on the right track. I walked out of Vin Devers that afternoon, got in my car, immediately called the seller, and struck the deal. We had our GL in for service for a week or so. We were leaving on a major vacation the next day. When my wife got the vehicle back it started to smoke that night around 8pm. Keith the service manager had excellent response and got a tech out to look at it. It was a major component failure, water pump bearing. He took care of the repair first thing in the morning and got the vehicle back to us that afternoon. We were a day late on our vacation, but Keith the service manager took care of us and our vehicle right away. Thanks again Keith!

I was in Findlay for work and my wife happened to be with me. Her audi had a transmission malfunction message on Sunday when we were supposed to be driving back home to Chicago. She calls audicare and they arranged for it to be taken to VinDevers Auto in Sylvania(about 45 min away from Findlay) for them to look at it the next day. Long story short they had to order 2 parts to fix her car and it extended our stay 2 more nights when it was all said and done. Jesse and they guys at Vin Devers are awesome. They kept us in the loop every step of they way, they did a quick and detailed job when the parts came in and they got us on the road back home as quickly as possible. Went in for a simple clutch job. Ended up waiting almost a month for what could have been done in a couple short days. The quality of work was exceptional, but the quality of service was sub-par. I was left in the dark for days at a time, only getting updates when I essentially spam called my adviser about the state of my car. Once we did get contact, I'd be told it'll be available within a day or two, then end up waiting a week. I don't mind so much that I had to wait so long; there were unforseen circumstances. I do, however, expect to be treated well considering I have no idea what was happening with my vehicle. At one point, I was told my car would be available within the hour. So I waited an hour, no call. Drove to the dealership myself to find it still on the rack torn apart, nowhere near ready to send off. No word about it until it was done. This is my biggest disappointment. By the end of the second week of being without my car, I was offered a loaner on the dealer's dime. After spending 2 weeks holed up in my home almost useless, it was a welcome treat being able to drive again.

Leaving previous review and adding to it, had some minor electrical issues with truck which I planned on calling Monday to discuss, Ramon beat me to it and called to see how everything was going, set an appointment for this morning"his day off" to have the issues addressed and get me a loaner on short notice, can't be happier with service here 7-18-18 I just bought my truck here, Ramon was a great guy to deal with, even before I came in, responded quickly to internet question, Mikel was a great guy to deal with, although he's an Ohio State fan, he made the paperwork quick and actually kind of fun , Mike from the service Dept actually pulled into the gas station I was at while I was leaving a voicemail o for him, noticed the truck after he listened and scheduled an appt next morning from a speedway, here now had the minor problem fixed in quick fashion, I would highly recommend this dealership, I got a great deal on my truck, the staff is amazing and I was highly satisfied with my car buying experience

My wife and I had just started shopping for a new to us car. We had stopped shopping for the day and was in the process of driving by this dealership when I pulled in on a whim. We found one vehicle we were interested in, parked at the office. We were talking to a salesman promptly and were heading out on a test drive. The van was exactly what we were looking for. The price was lower than what we were approved for when we talked with the bank to get pre-approved. It was close to closing time and we needed to wait until Monday to get everything taken care of, due to me having to work all weekend. Monday we showed up two hours earlier than we were expected. The sales group worked around us to finish up the loose ends. We are very happy with the experience.

(I have only had my car serviced here). Its a German car dealer, so expect to pay German prices for basic service. However, the service manager is very attentive and is very quick to respond to texts and phone calls, not to mention he is pretty good at remembering people - a great trait for someone in customer service. They are usually fairly quick to get your car back to you and its always returned freshly washed.

We worked with Brian, the sales manager. I had multiple conversations with the Brian to negotiate h potential trade value on my car for a 2010 Sequoia and sent photos for appraisal. We came to an agreement and traveled over 2 hours from Columbus to purchase the 2010 Sequoia Brian, the sales manager for 29 years, 100% did not disclose that the Sequoia trunk was crushed in and was in an accident!! The new tires they listed in the internet add, Were also a lie. The tires were newer, but had at least 10-15k miles in them. The pristine car they presented was 100% misleading and Brian did not even bother to apologize. He said- It's a 7 year old car, its to be expected. I suggested that stating it was accident free was a complete LIE and that Vin Devers was not trustworthy. I would suggest to have any used vehicle independently checked out prior to buying from Vin Devers. The sales person did give us a tank of gas to drive back to COLUMBUS, which was very gracious - worthy of 1 star. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I had visited the parts department about a month ago looking to see if some parts were still available for my older Mercedes. When I walked in I was instantly greeted by the 2 young men on each side of the counter. However the older woman ignored me and gave a dirty grin. I didn’t pay much attention to it. I walked to the young man which I believe his name was Ron or Rick? He was beyond happy to help me! A few minutes went by and the woman rudely looked over and said can’t you find it? It’s not that hard!? She then got up and started telling him what to do in such a rude manner. I could not believe the way she was talking to young man. Come on dumb a55, it’s not that hard, click this click that! Even the other young man looked over in disgust at the way she was talking. Other than her attitude the 2 young men had excellent customer service!

They called twice with two parts that needs to be replaced after the first estimate .I Refused the service and took it all to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Well my instinct was correct ,the car did not need ANY parts to be replaced and I had feeling that they where trying to rip me off. I wish I had a better experience here. I’m actively shopping for a Mercedes and this is the only certified dealer in the Toledo area. I didn’t feel welcomed or valued as a customer and I was flat out given false information prior to arriving to test drive cars. When I addressed my concerns with the salesperson, he completely blew me off and made excuses for everything. I left disappointed and uninterested in spending my money here ever. Bought a Used Car from Vin Devers end of June - the whole process was smooth and easy! About 3 months later I noticed my moon roof would not seal - as I know I purchased a USED car, I called to see if there was anything they could do to help. I never write reviews but I feel compelled to publicly recognize Vin Devers Autohaus for the amazing service we received on Friday, September 21, 2018. We had the glowplugs on our 2011 Sprinter-chassis based motorcoach replaced at a Mercedes dealer in St. Clair Shores, MI on Thursday, Sept. 20th. We were heading out of town for a weekend camping trip on Friday morning when suddenly we heard a whooshing sound and lost power. We found Vin Devers was the closest Mercedes dealer that serviced the Sprinter chassis. Our coach was in "limp" mode but we were able to get to Vin Devers. We pulled in and a service technician named Chris Micheaux immediately identified the issue which was a detached hose on our turbo diesel. He showed us the issue, got the repair done FAST, and we were back on the road to enjoy the weekend. What I really commend Chris for is that he stated the detached hose was related to the glow plug repair done at St. Clair Shores. He contacted the St. Clair Shores dealer and they covered the cost of the repair. That tells me Chris and the staff at Vin Devers have integrity. I think a lot of dealers might have just said "oh, too bad, this hose has become detached" and never attributed it to the repair that a fellow Mercedes dealer had done. I'm sure a lot of dealers would have been happy to charge me for a new repair. Thankfully we stumbled upon a dealer in Vin Devers that provides incredible customer service with integrity. Vin Devers Autohaus you have earned our business and we'll be happy to drive the hour from Michigan to have our Sprinter chassis serviced at your shop. And to anyone considering buying a Mercedes or Audi (as we are now), don't hesitate to buy it at Vin Devers, they understand the importance of customer service.
