We just bought our third vehicle from Coppus Motors in Tiffin. We always deal with Joe Hammer he is very good to work with. It is very laid back with no pressure. He found the truck I wanted and came in with a price we liked. There is no smoke and mirrors or hoops to jump through. Just a simple and straight forward process.

We took our 2008 Dodge Sprinter to Coppus Motors for glow plug replacements on our Mercedes Diesel engine. They scheduled quickly (within a few days of our call) and got our vehicle done in a short amount of time (we dropped it off the night before and had it back the next afternoon). It was worth the hour drive for such efficient and knowledgeable service. Since this is our main business vehicle, time was of the essence. The only other service shop in our area has a bad reputation for keeping vehicles for a month or longer for repair work. Thanks to Frank for his assistance. We will definitely use this company for future repairs!

Once upon a time.. In a land far far away Nope we can’t do that because there’s no happy ending here. I thought for a while that I had bought my dream Wrangler but my fairy tale quickly became a night mare. It was just another Saturday when I found myself in Tiffin going to Rural King, but this Saturday was different. I saw a Jeep Wrangler.. it was beautiful.. Red, ‘17, black rims, low miles.. that’s the kind of vehicle that makes my heart melt. I knew I wanted that Jeep. I test drove it and just knew I had to have it. So thanks to someone I once thought was a good salesman (KB I’ll just give his initials) l was able to get the Jeep I wanted. With some calculation here and some crunching there it was mine. I drove my beauty home that day. Happily ever after... NOT It was the rainy season and I quickly started to see problems. I’d get in and see water marks running down my door, I’d feel squishy carpet under my feet, something just wasn’t right. I started to investigate. I pulled back my carpet to find water laying.. not just a little water but at least and inch laying under my feet. So quickly I put my warranty to good use and took my Jeep up to the Coppus Motors Service Department. I got the Jeep in to get worked on. I was given a loaner vehicle and I put my Jeep in their care. When I got it back much to my surprise there was still water in it.. lm going to make this review shorter now.. this happened not once, not twice, not even three times but I had to take it up 5 times! I dreaded calling to tell them about it, I was feeling hopeless that it wasn’t fixed, I felt terrible being treated like I was a joke from the service people. My fairy tale didn’t last, this was quickly becoming a night mare. My beauty my Jeep my Wrangler was leaking and I couldn’t make it better. I love that Jeep and I didn’t want it getting water damage and electrical damage or even rust damage. I couldn’t let my $30,000 beauty keep leaking and getting damaged. I love that Jeep and I didn’t want to have to let it go. My final trip I got my last piece of disrespect from Coppus Motors.. straight from the mouth of my salesman came this “ If you really want a Wrangler you’re not going to care if it leaks a little... “ that was his response! I didn’t even mention that he treated my father and I like complete strangers. He made a lot off of my sale and to get the disrespect I got I had enough I was done. Sadly i traded in my Jeep for an new Wrangler I had to leave my leaky love behind. I wish he had shown me the car fax before where I would have saw the leak but he didn’t. I’m sad to have to explain this because it’s wrong for Coppus and my salesman to do this to me.. shame on you KB.
Friendly, professional, accommodating, and fast. The salesman called when they got something they knew I'd be interested in before it was on the lot. They allowed me to drive it overnight to make sure I was comfortable. They explained all its features and hooked up my phone. He answered all my questions patiently. They respected me as a person and not just as a customer.

I purchased my E350 Mercedes from Coppus Motors in 2017 and I am so happy to be a member of their family!!! They go above and beyond what is great customer service and they make everything easy. My salesperson was Dan Lehman and he was great to work with...he explained everything in detail and always called me right back if I ever had a question. And Frank in the service department is the nicest and most patient man you will ever meet. Even when I can tell it is crazy busy, he comes to the phone and gives you all the time you need. I don;t know the names of the people that answer the phone but they are so polite and professional every single time you call. I would not even consider going to another dealership ever. I just recently purchased a vehicle from here and had another great experience. This is my second vehicle that I purchased from them and my experience I had the first time is why I came back a second time. The sales department is knowledgeable and professional. They don't play games with you or try to force a sale on you before you leave the lot or have your phone blow up with annoying follow up calls. I initially went to look at Jeep Cherokees, but found a used truck I liked better. When that sold before I could make a decision, I asked about Leasing a brand new truck. I have never leased before and was very hesitant, but my sale guy did a great job explaining everything and giving me documentation of all the numbers. I went about a month and a half before making up my mind. Again no pestering phone calls the entire time. Went back up to pull the trigger on trying to lease a truck and saw a used Charger sitting there. Changed my mind again and started the process all over again on a different vehicle. No pressure from them when I changed my mind again. Even when working with one sales guy, the day I went in he was off but another sales guy stepped and closed the deal. Looking for to my next purchase 3-15 years from now.

I stopped by the dealership today (Tuesday 11/16/16) for my first time ever. I was trying to get in to have my Dodge Ram pick up checked out due to some serious mechanical problems I have been randomly experiencing. Other dealers closer to my home just couldn't seem to find time to fit me in to their busy schedules. Well, not in a timely manner in my opinion. I walked in and spoke with Rick & Pat in service and Phil in parts in regard to my issues. All 3 of these gentleman were extremely friendly and helpful and even though they were busy, they made time to fit me in! Ryan checked out my Ram truck and they diagnosed the problem in no time! Parts were ordered and repairs are scheduled upon their arrival. I can not begin to explain how grateful I am for all of their help and understanding! I will be back and I shall spread the word to others about them! i have bought over 50 cars and i can not believe the customer service i have had this past week i have to still make a purchase from this dealer but even before i purchase i just want everyone to know the customer service is just unreal, unbelievable i really wanted a car and ask for a test drive and i took a very very long test drive and never got a call (even tho i was 45 mins past closing time) once i got back i was still unsure so i asked for a longer test drive and with no hesitation i was able to take a test drive. then the next day i decided to buy the car and i took it back however i was sorta late so i was unable to make a deal ad purchase my soon dream car and i had forgotten my car personal car keys all the way back in Columbus (2 hour drive) and with no hesitation at all he said no worries and handed my the keys to an s class and said i will make sure your new car is not sold see you tomorrow or Monday. i was blown away i will be sending all my customers here as well as family and friends being in the automotive industry i have never ever seen this level of satisfaction they have won my business on new and used Mercedes Benz i am very excited for tomorrow for car THANK YOU ROD AND CHRIS FOR THE LOVELY EXPERIENCE this place deserves more than a 5 star - The Patels update coming after purchase

Not very helpful or friendly
I cannot recommend this business. I've only dealt with sales staff and repair staff. The sales staff is rude (some old guy acts like he's the king) and most times no one will come out to help you or answer questions. The one time I tried to walk in to ask questions the old guy stopped me and said I couldn't come in. Service is disorganized. That may just have been the day I was there though.

Bought a 2002 Dodge Dakota from K. Baker. They said no warranty, but would stand by it, if anything went wrong in a reasonable time frame. Less than 1000 miles, had radiator,heating core,and engine problems. Spent well over &1000.00. Guess my reasonable isn't theirs. No return calls. I see you responded to this post, and NO you DID NOT talk to me.

Rod took a few days off on vacation before the transaction was complete but Chris Hammond stepped up right away to make sure my needs were met. To pick up the car, I was coming from St. Louis and the nearest commercial airport from Coppus Motors is at least 1 1/2 hours away and they even offered to drive to the airport to pick me up, had i decided to fly in.. My wife and I recently went through the traditional painstaking research of addressing our current automotive transportation needs. Now that we are post kid-raising and looking toward retirement, our transportation needs had to adjust for a number of different various reasons. We researched a number of different makes, models, new & used vehicles with an open mind to what we felt we needed for the next 5-8 years. Ron, our sales representative, took a practical approach to our needs and desires. Even if the dealership did not have a vehicle in the dealership inventory that met our requirements, he made prompt arrangements to get one from another dealership. The key for us was the above average trade-in $ value we received for our vehicle that we have worked so hard to take care of and the anticipated service the dealership can provide in the future. I don't know what to say
We brought our Chrysler T&C here because we were having problems with it starting. The van would start occasionally, but it was (and still is) temperamental. They quickly decided it was the starter and replaced it for $430. About a week and a half later we were roughly 2 hours from home and the van didn't start, again. We called and complained about paying so much money for a starter and yet the van still didn't want to start. They said we could bring it back in and the cost would be on them for whatever they found was wrong. They did exactly what they said and all seemed fine, until the next day. The next day after picking up the van we started to hear a rattle in the steering wheel area. Apparently, they had taken apart our entire dashboard and something isn't back where it belongs securely. Oh, and we were out of town and the van didn't start AGAIN!!! Now, we are waiting to get the van back in for the THIRD time to find what the problem is. They claim they are able to fix Chrysler vehicles, but they can't seem to put our van back together or figure out why it won't start every time.
I have been dealing with Coppus Motors since 1989. I have always been extremely pleased with the sales department and staff. They are very low pressure and very knowledge about their products. The past two times I've taken my car to Coppus my safety has been at risk. The first time was last summer and under 100 miles after leaving the dealership my tire lost lug nuts and nearly came off. It's been almost a year since then and I never wanted to go back because I was so disappointed with their service and frustrated that someone's safety could mean that little. My car ended up having a recall so I had to take it to Coppus with it being the only Dodge dealership in Tiffin. So I thought a second chance would be good. THE SAME THING HAPPENED. Under 100miles leaving the dealership, my tire started making the same noise so I had to call Triple A and have them re-tighten my tires once again.
Well this store wasted about 3 hrs of my time. I call ahead to make sure the vehicle was still since it takes me an hour to get there. They said it is and someone can help me when I get there. So I arrive at about 10 til 7pm they hand me the keys and tell me to go drive it so I drive the vehicle. I get back and sit and wait for about 45 minutes til I can actually talk to a sales person. Meanwhile one sales person is doing paperwork with a couple buying a truck. What looks like another sales person plays on his computer and what looks the sales manager sits in his office both ignoring me. After said 45 minutes sales person selling the other vehicle comes and grabs my keys for my trade comes back about 2 minutes later and gives me their proposal we were about 1500 from where I wanted to be to buy but they tell me they won’t negotiate even a dollar. So basically it took me an hr drive there and an hr drive back, sit in there show room for 45 minutes to get treated like a subpar human being. Save yourself the time and go to a store that respects its potential customers

Called was transferred to a salesperson when they answered they asked who you holding for and I said a Ram salesperson then was told to go ahead. No introduction from the person at all. Very rude for someone who wants to sell you so.something.
