I had my car detailed at Coates Car Care in Niles, when I picked my car up it looked fine. The next day I had to use my windshield washer. It didn't work on my windshield but worked in the rear window. I opened the hood and the spray nozzles for the fluid were broken off. When I called they said they would take care of it but needed to order parts. They said they would call me the next day when the parts came in. I went in and they spent a while trying to install the parts. The ordered parts to fit any car but they didn't have directions with the parts. After about 45 minutes they said they would order parts from dealerships. They not only wasted my time but gas driving back and forth to install parts that they broke when detailing my car. One employee actually said as plastic get old it becomes brittle. If one broke maybe, but both! I wasn't compansated in any way. It cost me more in gas and after seeing the the detailing it wasn't worth the trouble. Don't recommend Coats Car Care. They don't care after they got their money.

Paid 19.25 and got a lousy car wash and the wipe down was not done properly and left dirt ....got a wax with this so wax was over the dirt...interior not done right either. Will never go there again....and they failed to remove antenna topper so that was an 8 dollar lose as well.

I guess between the seats and console floor, cup holders and front window don't get done when you pay for full service. Also, if the kid continuously drying the back end would have used that energy elsewhere the not cleaned areas could have been done.

These guys usually do a good job; however, I had a full service Epic Pkg car wash ($27) that included tire shine, hand dry, and vacuum. Only the driver side tires were shined and there was still some debris in the crevasse of the seat. I called to speak to a manager but they were unavailable--waiting to hear back.

I've been coming to this place for years and have never had a problem till today. I took my charger with aftermarket 20" rims threw there today and the track scratched my front driver rim bad. These rims are 3 months old, and when I called the owner, Jimmy Coates, out to look at it he told me I can't prove it happened there and he will not do anything about it and walked away. I didn't know that's how they do business and my family and myself will never be back and I'm contacting the BBB. I understand things happen but that situation could have been addressed alot more professionally.

I was having problems at another car repair dealer with my daughter's car. It had been repaired there several times in the last 2 weeks and still not running right. I had already spent way too much money with no answer to what was wrong with car. Called Coates Car Repair, recommended by a friend. The Manager told me to bring the car into the shop and he would make sure that it was taken care of the same day. I was updated on the issues with the car and Coates performed the repairs. My daughter is extremely happy now that her car runs great thanks to Coates. The courteous help from the Service Manager was greatly appreciated. I will tell everyone about my experience and tell them to go to Coates Car Repair.

Didn't get the bugs off front of car and windows smudgy didn't vacuum drivers side very well. The owner contacted me about this review and I went in today December 12th 2018 and they gave me a free car wash they wiped it all down did all the windows interior vacuum really good. So I'm giving them a 5-star on customer service and the way my car look today excellent job

Literally just left the car wash... Paid $20 + $4 tip and my car is filthy inside. As if it hasn't been touched by a cloth and barely vacuumed. I had to take pictures because I'm in such disbelief. Will never, ever spend my money here again.

Took my car here after being at Lake Erie for 5 days. I got the inside and outside package for around 27 dollars and it was worth every penny. My car was shining inside and out. Most of the sand was lifted and the car no longer looked like a beach. They do a great job at cleaning here and I'll definitely be back again. Reasonable prices and quality work. Saved myself at least an hour of time doing it myself.

The attendants were rude and yelling for no reason about the brakes, when my foot was nowhere near the pedals! I will never got here again. It's a shame, I always had good service from the Niles location.

**Update: Coates did contact me about the issue. They have since refunded my car wash and covered the cost of a replacement part. They also offered to install the switch for me. Rating increased from 1 to 3 stars Took my car for an interior and exterior wash. When I got the car back, I noticed that the mirror control knob on my door was missing. I turned around and drove back. After some investigation, the woman behind the counter found the knob, but insisted that it had been broken already. I tried fixing it myself when I got home, but I have to order and install an entirely new part now. On top of that, they broke my sunglasses, and the interior of my car is still dirty. basically I paid them to break things.

Called for appointment for Monday for full detail. Person who answered, looked at schedule and said Monday at 830 would be great, can also drop off night before. 2 hours later they call back and said sorry the guy who scheduled apparently didn't know how to, but we are booked until 7/23. Sorry. Why would I ever go back to them??

I just paid 23 dollars for a car wash and 10 extra dollars for mats to be cleaned at the full service car wash next to the pine tree plaza in Niles. It looks like a vacccum didn’t even touch my seats or cup holders or doors at all. My mats are still soaking wet and my sons footprints are still on the back of the seat he sits behind. These are things I was expecting would be done for 30 dollars but maybe my expectations were too high. I’m highly disappointed in the services today. Good thing they have free vacuums to use after I got my car washed.

Used the self-serve car wash today, and pressure to the whole establishment died soon after I started. Barely rinsed off what little soap I had managed to get on my car before my money ran out. Went across the street to request a refund. Secretary leans into the boss's office, gestures at me a few times, then tells me, "come back Monday". Really? A $3.00 refund and 30 seconds of your time are such a big deal that you send a repeat customer away like that? Serious attitude problem there, folks. Spit in the eyes of your customers some more.

I've been there twice within a few months. The outside of my car was okay. They could have wiled it down some more. They should have just stayed out if the inside, because they did a horrible job. The woman waiting next to me waited a long time for her interior to be cleaned, and said it was great, the people who did mine didn't seem to care at all. I won't be back again, because that's twice they were poor workers.

It is not so pricy but there is always something that I need them to redo. The workers are very sloppy with thier job and there are a lot of places that they forget to do. I guess that it suits the price they take. You wanted me to make contact with you... how can I do it?
