I would have given this establishment 5 stars if it weren't for their rude ill-mannered morning shift cashier today 3/31/2019. She was more than pleasant to the gentleman right before me, but when it was my turn, I gave her the customary salutation and a smile. She stayed stonefaced. I repeated, and said hi, she just continued rude and curt with a serious frowning face. I am Latina and was with my fiancé. We enjoy this car wash, but this cashier's attitude seemed sexist and racist, both behaviors are unacceptable. This cashier needs to be spoken to and trained appropriately on customer service and how to deal with the public. She is caucasian, in her twenties, with long brown hair.

I was used to the car wash on Metro opposite TJ's. Wow, was I settling for mediocracy! I went to Imperial b/c it was free with an oil change. OMG what a difference! Their attention to detail is wonderful. Never going back to the one on Metro

Went to get my car wash came out with big scratch from front to back on the base panel under the doors on the drivers side. I showed the managers and of course it didn’t come from them. Stick with washing my car my self never again now its gonna cost me more money to fix it.

The line moves quick here. I like the way my car looks after it's washed here. The workers and the machines don't beat up on your car. When the wash is finished and its time to do touch up drying, the guys do a good job wiping streaks and lingering soap.

My girlfriend went there for an oil change and they upsold her an engine cleaning service and filters which I changed 6 months ago! She did not need any of these services, but they pressured her into getting it done, scaring her that it’s bad for the engine if she doesn’t do their engine cleaning service, at a cost of $82.99. This “service” is a liquid that they put in it, run the motor for a few minutes and drain it. Almost $100 in 10 min! Nice little scam they got going on. She drives a Honda with 80k miles on it, oil changed at every 3k miles. That car is bulletproof till 200k miles, it did not need their garbage service. On another day I went for a car wash and saw them do the same thing to another woman while my car was getting washed! It seems that they prey on people that don’t know much about cars and sell them things they don’t need. As far as their car washes are concerned, they’re better than a regular place with brushes, but not by much. If you don’t tell them to wash it by hand they use brushes. I always ask them to clean the wheels, otherwise they leave them dirty.

Absolutely terrible! They barely Cleaned anything. I went to get the salt off of my car and they left so much salt all over the body, they hardly dried the car, the interior remained dirty and windows poorly cleaned, I have a white 2019 subaru sti, it isn't hard to make a new car look clean and they failed miserably.

It was out of my way but it was the only car wash that opens at 7:30am within my area. Nonetheless it was worth the drive. They did an awesome job inside and out. This is a true hand car wash.

Dominick the owner is co and founder of imperial hand wash. He is always on his game making sure your car gets done right. When you get an oil change It comes with a free wash as well . You can't be anything like this car wash I was born and raised in queens from Glendale . I don't know what anyone knows this But my father had a Van called prestige tile contracting. We know dom very well so bring your car in after the winter they do it all.

They definitely suck at washing cars. I don’t think they know how to wash cars in the first place. They don’t use microfiber towels to dry your car but instead regular towels that are dirty and looked like they are not washed. The towels leave grey hairs all over your car when they are done and if you pay attention they scratch your car will those same towels. They only use the microfiber towels for the windows which is the dumbest thing I ever heard. I think they are very cheap with the quality of the towels that they use. This is the worst hand wash I have ever been to. Now I have to detail my car because these guys don’t understand how to wash a car. I am surprised they have been in business for this long. If you don’t believe me go see for yourself. The manager doesn’t pay attention to the workers who are just lazy when they do their jobs. If there were negative stars trust me these guys would definitely get it.

Absolutely horrible experience. The “hand” wash was actually a BRUSH wash. It left multiple scratches all over my brand new SUV. I spoke directly to the owner who advised me that the scratches couldnt have been caused by the brush because they were too straight. When i pointed out the crooked scratches he said his brushes were plastic and not wood. I asked him why he advertises as a hand wash when brushes are used and he said because the brushes are used by hand and not machine. I highly suggest using an alternate carwash that doesnt falsely advertise. CONSUMERS BEWARE!

i Come here all the time and I love the way the owner runs this place. He’s always around , coordinating his workers and making sure it’s running efficiently. Today I had to write this review bc I was waiting inside as I watched my car, they drove it outside but the guys outside didn’t get a chance to start drying it, the manager came over to look at the car, I saw him look down at the wheels, he then got inside and literally drove it back inside the car wash, I walked around to ask what’s up? He said he wasn’t happy with the way the guys inside did the rims, I watched him spray them down himself and start brushing them himself. If that’s not good service I don’t know what is. Very good, very impressive. Thanks boys

Just left it, $40 including tips, the car still does not feel clean. Had to call guy two times, to take away spots. They vacuum the car before wash. As a result, after they blast the air, all garbage stays on the floor. This is addition is three years later. I was passing by the place, and I did not realize that I gave them a review previously. After I visited the place last time shortly afterward, I could not find my Valentine One radar detector and transformer to use 110 Volt appliances from the car's cigarette lighters. Although I can't say with a 100% certainty that it was taken from my car at that car wash, this was the only place where I was not in the car for 30 minutes, with someone having access to it. I wash my care very rarely, and my car was not broken into. Therefore, I would say with 99% certainty what it was stolen while my car was washed at that car wash. The person, who did this might be no longer there but just wanted to share this info.

Can't ever complain about Imperial. Been coming here for years, the only car wash that has long lines running down Woodhaven Blvd., speaks volumes about how good they are. I like that they do the wash by hand, they take good care getting into all the nooks and crannies with soft brushes that don't scratch your vehicle. Gets hand dried as well and they spend time on each car, never rushing them through. Worth the wait. I like the rewards card you get stamped to earn free washes. I've gotten oil changed here too, no problems, and oil change gets you a free wash too.

Best hand carwash ever. The only place to take your baby if you care at all. Owner always present and checking on workers for outstanding work. Soft bristle brushes and sponges on your vehicle only, no spinning sandpaper buffing here.

$16 for a basic wash not including vacuum, $52 for a basic oil change, never fail to damage my vehicles and blame it on the car. If you have a nice car, I reccomend getting a moblie wash that dosent involve having your car go down the rollers as damage is always prone to occur.

No one over 5 feet washing the cars, I only point this out because I have a Suburban and they missed the center of my hood and roof. Used not so clean towels to clean windows and again couldn’t reach the middle of the window.

I was at first hesitant to take my car to Imperial, as anyone who is familiar with detailing knows that putting your vehicle through a car wash is tantamount to just rubbing sand paper on the paint work. I was pleased to see the staff being extremely careful during the prep stages. While washing the car, they used boars hair brushes which upon closer examination were extremely soft and well maintained. They have multiple choices in the type of wash you would like, but I usually opt for the $20 option. After examining the paint after the wash, I did not see any swirls marks or scratches. Im very pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them.

They do a competent job, they only wash by hand which I prefer over the other car washes which have the rags that slide across the hood, causing scratches and broken antennas.

The worst wash ever! I paid $25 for a super wash and the car looked almost the same at the end! Dirt all over and they don’t even dry it well. I had to buy a towel and dry it myself! I paid to shine the tires and the guy refused to do it! The manager had to come out and give the order!. The Russian or polish guy that gives the tickets when you come in is nasty! Treats everyone like garbage and even pushed one of the customers and the manager didn’t do anything after that customer complaint. After paying $25 I had to go to another place cause the car was so dirty! They didn’t even clean the inside! Not even the dust! After this was laid for! What type of business is this? Please just stay away from this place and save yourself a headache! All the customers there were complaining as well about the terrible wash and no one cares. It’s an assembly line Type of business and you are treated like Garbage.

I have no idea how they clean your car and what included their service as default but we spend around $23-26 and after I saw Stains on the front and side windows and mirrors. When I checked my trunk I asked them why they only vacuumed it and did not clean it and they answer me that if I wish to clean it I have to pay another $20 for it. Chip quality of service. Not recommended.

If your lookin for a cheap hand car wash ... that’s exactly what your going to get ! Cheap results !!! First they run your car through the machine where 4 workers are inside with gloves washing your car as it rolls by, if u have nice rims , forget about going here ... the workers don’t understand to position car straight with the tracks and that leads to your rims Getting scratched ! The worst part of that place is the owner who stands on top of his workers to speed them up and in result they do a poor job at cleaning !!! I expected this so i bought a towel inside , same Color as ones the workers have outside , when I noticed the car owner was standing on top and rushing the only 1 person that was working on my car I could tell the guy tried to clean it fast to make the owner happy .. so I took the towel I paid for .. and started cleaning my rims with it because there was dirt in them still from the worker rushing ! Long story short here comes this genius ( the owner ) telling me Ohhhhh guy what u dooooinnn ... that’s the wrong towel !! Now we gonna lose a towel we don’t use that for the rims !!! After I told him it’s my towel and I paid for it , he didn’t feel like such a genius anymore ! Moral of the story ... pay a little more or do it your self !!

Tried out this hand car wash today and let me tell you I was happy with the result! Staff is decently nice, reasonable prices aswell. I have a black car so it requires a little more work to take care of the paint.

I left my car for exterior (waxing) and interior (shampooing) clean up work. They completed the job in 4 hours and the job itself was pretty good. My only angst is that I specifically asked if I need to air out the car. The supervisor indicated that there is no need for that. After a day of being parked in the basement with the windows up, my car now has a moldy smell that isn't going away. Here is a person who does this day in day out. I wish he had at least asked me to use my own judgement instead of waving off the need to air it out. Having said all this, I'll still go back. I have no complaints about the actual work done.

We pay for an special hand wash that was 45 $. When they gave my car back the mats weren’t clean, the trunk either, clearly they didn’t vacuum. Overall the whole car was dirty. I’m very unsatisfied with the service. Do not go to this place if you want a decent hand wash for your car.

Come here often when it's to cold or in dire need of washing my car fast and dont have time to do it myself but never again. Idiot's with the brushes slipped off my rim and got my car which left it with a huge push broom like scratches on my bumper and they were using such force for what reason?

I paid over $20.00 for a full service which included exterior and interior of my minivan. I left the place and in less than 10 minutes I checked my trunk to realized was not vacuumed. I went back to speak to the manager and I was told that the trunk situation was my fault because I should have told them before...not apology, not offering to vacuum because It was forgotten or just as a good gesture, instead he just blamed me. I also complained about one of the sliding doors metal that came off when I was about to open that side door. Once again the 'manager' responded, If the piece was in place when you left is not my fault and probably you brought It like that...classic way to get away from responsability. At this point I understood that It was worthless to speak with a unprofessional and selfish person like him. I still do not understand how an Incompetent person like this can managed a business even if It is a family business. It is not need have a jerk and clearly a sexist running the business in order to be successful. At the end, the cleaning was very poor, not happy plus the awful treatment. People here just don’t care especially the manager who is just carelessly roaming around, unprofessional employees who are extremely rude and impatient,my car was left with three scratches plus many dirty marks especially they left a touch of peanut butter on the passenger seat! After looking long and hard for a good oil change place in the neighborhood I came across Imperial. After reading mixed reviews the wife and I decided to give it a try we figured with a free car wash it’s worth it. We arrived and first impression was already good we were greeted and taken care of right away. The technician opened up our car and explained what they would be doing and what oil the car calls for(because we have no clue haha). They said give them 20 min to finish.i went for food and my wife stayed and waited to pay. Came back in 15 min to a finished washed car and a happy wife who continued to praise the rest of the business so thanks Imperial for making my day of shopping with the wife easier! Despite some reviews I read of thieves and taking advantage of people I can honestly say the opposite of imperial. Thanks again and I will definitely be back.

One time I came 5 min before closing. It was early because of a holiday. They haven’t told me that I had 5 min only. My car was left half dirty, literally! When I tried to speak to the guy, who’s the manager, with arrogant red face and pale white hair named CHRIS he said WE ARE CLOSED. They charged me though, in total with $5 tips I left there $40. I was devastated and outraged by this unacceptable treatment but no one wanted to listen to me. When I came back to talk to someone about this issue I was ignored once again. This red faced guy CHRIS and those who where under his authority washing the cars were demonstratively laughing in my back when I was walking to my car. They all came out and made sure I see them. All what I can say is that this is no class mentality. Very poor customer service and absolutely no manners. I have 3 cars in my household and my other family members were washing their cars at this place but no more . I will also make sure that no one of the people I know will go to this place. CHRIS will need to wash more and more cars and learn how to do a better job. I’m sorry that after so many years you have to do the work that you hate so much. Good luck with that.

Just came back from getting my 2017 Nissan Limited edition Rogue One washed and I regret taking it there. First they left a lot of water marks from not drying it well. The car STILL some had dirt on it. The back seat was not vacuumed at all. Inside front windshield still had stains from whatever spray they used to clean it also center console had spray marks on it. Even had to tell the guy to clean underneath my bumper guard which was still dripping wet. There were two other cars ahead of me and somehow this guy finished WAY BEFORE THEY WERE.... For the money I paid I expected a WHOLE lot better. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Been a client for the past 5 years, never had issues in the past but, this is the third time in the past three months where I would reqest a full service car wash and the staff supposedly is required to brush the rims with soap before entering the wash. Anyhow, one side of the car was done and not the other side because the fella that was supposed to do it, was to busy on his phone. Then I opened the trunk so they can vaccum, that wasn't done either. There were two other occasions when the wheels were not even touched prior before the car entering the wash. I asked the owner who seemed upset as how I even dare question his staff,he just brush me aside stating "yes, they will do it" "It was not done Dominick!, whatever your name is. I dont mind paying your fee but, If a consumer requests service that they are willing to pay then you should provide that service as requested and not give us a half lame job. Maybe you should train your staff and tell that it looks unprofessional to be on the phones while they're working with owners merchandise. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL DOMINICK FOR PAYING FOR A SERVICE AND THAT SERVICE IS NOT UP TO PAR? Other than that, the staff on the other end who dry the cars are awesome and on top of there game.

Service is horrible!! Was rudely screamed at to not use the bathroom inside after paying for an oil change. Apparently it is reserved for women and the men’s toitlet is outside and around the back as if men have no decency and have to go out back to a dirty bathroom like dogs. The best part is the bathroom was used right before by a male manager and even contains a urinal, specifically made for men. Cannot understand the logic, but to be so rude to a long time customer was mind boggling...will not miss listening to the ratchet conversations the attendant screams about while waiting and look forward to taking my business elsewhere. I recommend you do the same.

First of all it’s advertised full hand wash! When i went in with my Back Durango 2018 that i didn’t want used against a brush? Thats what they just did. When i ask the lady at the register, she tells me you have an SUV WE CANT SLOW DOWN THE TRAVK! BS!! They were stopping the track to rinse and dry cars! This is the 2nd time this place they’ll never be a 3rd! I wouldn’t bring my jalopy here for a wash! Oh best of all they tried wiping my car with terry cloth they were wiping rims with that had armor oil on it !

Had headlight cleaning treatment done on my prius. Was done faster than was told! Much brighter light at night now so can see farther down the road. Very courteous big pluses to both managers for being involved during the process! Highly recommend.

I used to go to this car wash weekly around eight or nine years ago. It was top notch with lines around the block. I just bought a brand new car and although I moved from the neighborhood a long time ago, I figured I would take it to the best car wash I have ever been to. Well, a lot has changed. Swirls and brush scratches all over the new paint job. They did not clean the inside of the driver door which was probably the dirtiest part of the car but one guy did spend a solid five or six minutes drying my lift gate. Owner is still there, I saw him near the detail garage but everything else has changed. Normally I would just be disappointed but being that my new car looks like I brought it to an automatic wash, I am pretty pissed off.

Worst car wash ever! I payed for the more expensive package from the basic packages. I understand it’s a basic was compared to the detailed packages, but please at least do the minimum of actually washing the car! Oh and one of the workers had the nerve to slam my door when I asked him to wipe off a stain in the cup holders! I had to tell him off to the manager, who in the other hand was very cooperative. It’s not his fault he has lazy and unprofessional employees who do not even know the simplicity of washing a car! Never coming back and I suggest you take your $30 and spend it at another car wash.

If u drive a luxury brand car avoid this place.This place is not good for a car wash at all . Their car wash is expensive but they don wash nicely. Even the $30 car wash (incld tax) doesn’t come with mats wash and the dash is still dirty they don even wipe it . I went to ask for a rag by myself and to clean it and they didn’t even provide a rag to me either. Lack of professionalism . Ain’t coming back and telling everyone to avoid them .

The new hispanic cashier is very nasty. I had been coming to this car wash gor over almost 6 years.. She is too busy on the cellphone. I asked her something and she is making eye contact with her cellphone not customers. Get off the phone.. On top she has an attitudem. We accidentally left our ticket inside the car and we went to pay w/o the ticket and she spoke nasty and said to go get our ticket cuz it was too much trouble for her to charged us withouth the ticktet. Had some water damage in our SUV because the sunroof leaked. The floors were soaking wet on one side and when we got the roof fixed, of course the dealership did nothing about the cleaning. Imperial car wash was walking distance from me so I figured I can drive over, leave the car overnight and walk to pick up the next day. One of the managers was Joe who is awesome. Very honest with what his assessment of the situation was. Even washed the car to check that the roof was fixed. The next day he walked me through what they did to clean it. I will absolutely be returning here for future interior detailing. Highly recommend.

I used to be a happy customer if theirs but today I spent 27$ on the imperial wash. This place is supposed to be a “hand wash” place but they started to use brushes on the whole vehicle instead of microfiber rags. If I wanted hairline marks on the car I would of sent it to a regular machine car wash. Very disappointed hopefully they can get it back to what it used to be. Also streaks left on windows from dirty towels. For the price is should really cold out better.

Emphatic No. It appears they are just going through the motions. Poor attention to detail. They left Bird poo visible on the hood, water stains inside and outside the window, halfway vacuumed, large wrappers left behind. Not sure how they could miss it unless they weren't even trying. Had to go back, still didn't clean it all. Not worth the money. Won't be going back, ever.

We use this place exclusively. We buy coupon books to pay up front and get 1 free car wash. They do good detail work and also have an oil change garage that also includes a free car wash.

Used to be a great car wash! Up until about 2 years ago. Idk what happened to this place they used to be on the ball. They keep making changes to try to "improve" this place and its honestly it is making it worse. They shouldn't try to fix what is not broken. I'd rather take my $40 somewhere else where they actually hand wash the cars and use the correct towels etc. Instead they use dirty towels that scratch your car. And god forbid if you ask them if they can go over something again for you they give you an attitude about it. BEWARE!!!

Been here 3 times. The first visit was outstanding and the reason I came back. 2nd wash and interior cleaning was subpar, with way too much debris remaining. The manager had to ask his crew to do it over, doubling my time. I thought it was an off day and judged them on their first effort. Third and last visit was equally disappointing.
