I paid for the "Wheel Express" package, and they didn't even get my wheel covers clean! I had to track the manager down in his office because the girl working the cash register was too busy playing with her long black hair to bring him out to see me. The manager then refused to refund my money for the difference between that package and the next package down, the "Soft cloth full service wash." I also had to stand there as they dried my car and point out all the things that they missed cleaning. WORST PLACE EVER FOR A CAR WASH AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The #1 place to go! We are new to the area and my husband went to the breaking bad car wash and paid 35$ they didnt do ANYTHING they said they would. We came to this place and the Rain Tunnel Car Spa is 1000xs better than the other place. I will continue going here.

Quality of the wash is a joke. I had to have them run it through a second time and it still was poor. Windows not clean. Water spots on everything. I've had a better wash at gas station drive throughs. This place used to be an institution and now after 3 bad experiences at their downtown location and 2 at this location I'm done. If you love your cat go somewhere else.

I take my car all the time. They always do a good job. I have never had any issues. They hand dry, do my windows and tires, wipe down inside, all in about 15-20 mins.

I love the fact you get a 3 day rain check! And the prices are way better than Mr. Wash and they do a much better job. Every time I take my car to Mr. Wash I'm disappointed and I have to take it back for them to do it again. With Rain Tunnel I know the job will get done right the first time!

I'm a little surprised by all of the negative reviews because I've had nothing but good experiences from this place. Perhaps my standards are lower having used Octupus car wash for years. This place is far superior. They take a little extra time to wipe down your car to the point that they remove excess water from crevices. The ambience isn't great but the quality of the car wash is terrific. I've ran into a few minor issues but have always been compensated accordingly. I've also used their interior detailing service and was pleased with it.

I would not give this location a single star, but seeing as I have to I grudgingly do so. I took my truck here to be washed and the end result wasn't much better than what it was when I brought it in. I for one will never go back to this location. I will however go to the location on Rio Grande and central, here they have pride in their work. I would also recommend others to do the same.

Do it yourself, I feel cheated after purchasing "the best" package. There was still dirt on the back of the car, bug guts on the grill, cleaning residue on the dash, and an uncleaned rearview mirror. I won't be returning.

Three stars because it's hard for me to believe that over $30 doesn't get my dashboard wiped down and a light interior cleaning. I would probably leave to Stars if it wasn't for the hand wipe down they give for the exterior of the car after the wash. Other than that for much less I can get a good wash at most gas stations for far less that I think is probably equal to this cleaning process.

Do not ever work for or go to rain tunnel they lie to customers and steal from employees on the tip boxes it says all tips shared by all employees.That a big lie managers get workers tips and don't share wish the workers actually doing the work.if ever a girl is to come around they talk about them in the worst ways getting them naked with eyes especially Buck the owner he is a pig even though he is married he is the one who set up how to take from his employees and get away with it.If you get your car vacuumed there i promise you every worker will be taking change from your ashtray or wherever you leave it lying around its a corrupt business and if you like that sort of thing go ahead and get your car washed there. Hi, I paid $60 for my wash and the inside dash isn't even clean nor was even wiped. I also had a long tube with my fishing pole with the reel sticking out and one of your employees repositioned it sideways in the backseat and it snapped off since it was too long. The reel was $50....very disappointed

This has always been my go to place for a wash but today may change that. I purchased "The Best" which is their highest priced wash package and includes clear coat protectant, wheel blaster, polish and so on. I always watch the car run through because sometimes it misses the extras. So it happened and I told them that the polish and wheel blaster did not run, so they ran the car through again. And it did not do it, again. So I let them know again and the manager was making excuses about the new system. I said but I paid for your best package. So he went and talked to another manager and they both totally ignored me from then on.

If I could give this business a negative number as a rating I would. A 1 is Too high for the service I got on my Kia Sedona. Paid for a little pricier wash thinking it would make a difference. I kinda cleaned it up at home before I took it. Gathered the change in counsel, ash tray and passenger side door handle. Put it all on the drivers side door since I'm the one that uses it. Left a tip inside when I paid for the wash not having seen the finished work. Got out to my car and checked the very back wanting to make sure that it had been vacuumed. Sort of is a word that I would use. The guy that was drying my car and doing the windows asked if I wanted to run it through another vacuum cycle? I was trying not to be such a bitchy customer so I said no that was OK. Then I decided to stop on my way home and get a soda. Reached for the change that I put in the driver side door handle. Before had I went to the car wash I have gathered up all the change and put it in that handle. It was $8.72 in there. I know because I counted it! Came home and called the manager. It took him a very long time to get to to the phone. When he finally did I was assured they would look at the cameras and call back. Asked if I wanted to come back? For what? Did they forget to take something?! Sorry. I think I'm due a refund of my $18 car wash plus extra for the theft.

Best car wash and interior detailing in my opinion in Albuquerque. Fair prices for the work they do, and a quick turnaround on the cleaning. Recommend if you want detailing that you go early in the morning to get thr best time turnaround. Great as a general car wash as well, extra time spent ensuring no drops of water are sitting in your vehicle crevices. Visit it and see!

As I write this I am currently getting a car wash at The Rain Tunnel and it is PACKED and the staff is still being friendly and time efficient. No complaints.

I come here a lot to get my truck washed and for the most part they do a good job.... they are definitely better then misters. I used to be a loyal Octopus customer and then went with Mister Car Was when they switched over. The experience has been underwhelming to say the least: very expensive for a mediocre car wash. So, I decided to give Rain Tunnel a try. I was beyond pleased! They didn't rush me through, they still have a cashier, and the workers spent a lot of time on every nook and cranny and that was just the Basic car wash. Color me impressed! I had a great experience here. I pulled up having no clue what to do, and the attendant explained the process. I like that they wash the cars by hand, that way it's not too loud while you are sitting and waiting. They have a couple of benches outside you can sit in the sun while you wait for your car. I also tried another similar car wash in the area (they vacuum then run your car through an automated wash) but that particular place was pushing unnecessary services for twice the price. Stick with this place!

The men who did the vacuuming did a GREAT job, but once it got to the men who cleaned the windows & tires absolutely awful. I paid $20 plus tipped the window men. At the time i didnt realize, how awful of a job they did. Once i got home..i noticed. I had to end up cleanining it myself. They also didn't clean my inside. Im not sure if they were tired or just bad management. I do not recommend this place.

I am sorry to say that the quality of the washes here have gone downhill. I always get the top of the line wash, I forget what it's called, but it includes the wheels, waxing, all that stuff. On my last visit about a week ago after a weekend trip, I also paid to have them remove and wash the floor mats - so all in all, it was about a $40 wash. For that price, the windshield wasn't even clean - there were still bug remnants on it as I drove away. I also noticed when I got home that the front of the car was not clean, there were still bits of bugs and other road remains on the grill and hood of the car. I had to get out the glass cleaner and reclean the windshield when I got home. Not at all acceptable. I have been trying to maintain loyalty to Rain Tunnel, especially with Mister Car Wash coming into the market, but experiences like this one make it awfully hard to justify coming back.

Went I. To get my seats shampooed and when they finished they instructed me not to remove the plastic coverings until I got home. Upon arriving home I discovered they had torn one of my front seats and not informed me. Additionally the backseats looked as if they had just gotten them wet and not been cleaned at all. When I called the manager named Eduardo laughed when I told him we lived out of town and could only tell me to bring it in the next day so he could see it. Terrrible establishment!

I signed-up for the full wash + $10.50. I was under the impression that my counsel was going to finally be cleaned-if not at least - wiped down. Didn't happen! However, they were excellent, high-pressure blowing creveces & very meticulous with totally drying car rims, mirrors, etc. I will go back & this time, I will re-read the list of services... Perhaps I miss read the menu.

Seems to be hit or miss with the reviews of the Lomas location. Personally, I've only had one bad experience there, and that was nearly 20 years ago. I gave the benefit of doubt, and since then I've been through countless times with no problems, or at the least, if I had a problem, the line staff were quick to remedy it. "The Best" package, at under $20, is still one of the best values in town. Nothing is ever perfect, but these guys do a better job outside of hand washing than anyone else. Line staff are always friendly and courteous. The only reasons I'm not giving 5 stars are, 1) the reviews which seem to be from employees stating that the tips in the tip boxes aren't actually shared by the staff, and, 2) the cashier, who always seems annoyed by your very existence, and has, on several occasions, actually completed the entire transaction without ever speaking a word. Otherwise, the place is great.

I have been a loyal patron of this site for over 20 years now. I work for a New Mexico company so I always buy local. I had a terrible experience Sunday July 27th. I paid and extra $40.00 for inside detail. I did not get my moneys worth at all!!! Waited 1 and half hours as your employees all stood around it was not busy. finally they started my car with dirty sponges saw them walking back and forth looking for some clean ones I guess? The work was very poor streaked windows, some windows not cleaned at all. Went back today and they offered nothing for the poor work they did yesterday. No offer to clean it again nothing!! Very disappointed and will not go back!! This is why small company's die there total lack of customer service and management with no skills sets. The customer is always right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately I will have to go to a Mister cleaners as I hear they do a great job. There profits will go to a huge company and none will be spent in our community's Also you need to hire a new web designer who did this an 8 yr old. Terrible

I took my truck here to be washed and the end result wasn't much better than what it was when I brought it in. The car wash took off my passenger mirror the manager told me it must have been lose i told the manager this is a 2016 it was not lose he filled a report and told me someone would be calling me i have not revived a call from anyone yet. So for a 14.00 car wash it is going to cost me anther 575.00 dollars to replace the mirror. I for one will never go back any car spa and i will tell everyone i know not to ether.

I went to get a car wax and tried saving a couple of dollars but these guys left wax on may car. When I called for them to fix it, they replied "sounds like you need a paint job, aint nothing we can do".... I will not being recommending Rain Tunnel to nobody and never again will I go. I had to work hard to restore the paint and ended doing a far better job than this worthless company attempted to... also had to vacuum my own car because these guys missed the whole back seat! They didn't offer a refund or a re-wax. ZERO STARS.

Exterior clean was below average which is expected when it’s ran through an automatic wash. Paid extra to have the interior completely wiped down because it had some extra dust and dirt from camping, they completely soaked my entire interior with armor all it was greasy and disgusting they left my floor mats full of dried up mud, didn’t realize until I got home but they also scratched my truck on the front quarter panel. It looks like one of the guys was wearing a metal belt buckle and leant against the truck to wipe the windshield and his belt ground against the paint. I called about the scratch and was met with a rude manager who’s tone made me think he thought I was lying. He said to bring it in so he could look at it but after thinking for a bit I’d rather them not touch my truck again I’ll have to pay for it to be PROFESSIONALLY fixed

The manager had the crew run my truck through the wash tunnel a second time for an unknown reason. It appeared the manager was having the outside detailed a second time to ensure that it was done properly and all the water spots were wiped off, which I do appreciate. However, as it was parked in the detail parking area, the hazard lights were left on and flashing for upwards of 20 minutes. Even the person who was redoing the exterior detail didn't turn them off until he finished what he was doing.

We brought our lifted truck to see if it would fit.....amazingly, it barely did.......the staff was super careful about lining up the wide tires. We paid $20 for a service that was worth SO MUCH MORE. All the chrome polished, tires and wheels cleaned, and the body of the truck dried to perfection!! What a great experience. I'm from out of town and needed a car wash. This one offered hand dry so I could expect humans vs machine. Got The Best package to get the inside and outside done. General wash was good but that's about it. I got some cash back to tip and instead of handing it to me the lady tried to put it in the tip box before I even saw my car, No Thank You. So I put it in my pocket and when my car was ready I handed it to the guy, said thank you and shook his hand. I got in the car and rap music had been put on. My hats that were in the back window had been thrown on the seat, I mean at least put em back right? I noticed areas right away that hadn't even been blown out let alone wiped down so I grabbed a towel and did it myself. The rims got a quick wipe but there wasn't any care given because they still had dirt/dust all over. Anyway I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it without sharing my experience.

Worst car wash. $25 not worth it. They hardly cleaned the vehicle. If I wanted just the exterior washed I would've went to a cheap car wash to run through really quickly. They didn't wipe down or armor all the tires or wipe down the inside.

Took my coupe here today for the first time. It was in desperate need of an interior clean and a wash so I bought the "Express Polish" ($39.99) and the "Leather Seat Express" ($39.99), along with the Full Service Wash ($9.99). I was pretty pleased with how the seats were cleaned. They were awfully dirty and the techs did a great job making them look good again. The wash is a wash so there is cosmic there. I wouldn't expect it to get highway-splattered insects off of your bumper or side view mirrors. They vacuumed the interior and cleaned the glass well however, so I feel that it's a good deal for 10 bucks. The disappointing part was the Express Polish. Their brochure describes is as "A urethane clear coat polish applied to your vehicle's finish using a pneumatic buffer." I sat outside watching the two techs utilize 2 six-inch electric buffers to wax the car. The buffers did not spin at all. That defeats the whole purpose of a "real wax." They were essentially just spreading the wax back and forth with a wool pad instead of small, concentric circles like you're supposed to. The car still looked good in the end, but for $40?! No way.

Consistently disappointed with Rain Tunnel these days. They used to be great but it seems like they don't care anymore. Took my truck in for a complete detailing service. It literally still had dirt and debris everywhere. Under the seats, in the bins, and they didn't even bother spraying out the bed. It's disappointing that this is the quality that almost $200 gets these days.

Really poor job. Bought the $18 wash and they didn't even wipe down the dash or the inside of the back seat doors or any of the windows. Streaks all over front of car as well. I've had decent washes there in the past, but not sure if I'll go back after this one.

Unfortunately, it is a very bad experience. I paid $80 and I did not get what I paid for. I ordered a hand wash and I found that they didn't at all clean the body of the car. I don't recommend hand wash at this place at all unless if you have more money to waist.

Windows left streaky. I left sunroof cover open so the can get it and they didn’t. They just closed the cover. The kid putting armor all missed half of it. Exhaust tips still dirty. $20 for their “best”.

Great place to go for fast details! I work 10 minutes away from here and they detailed my car and washed it very well! I was very happy with the service that I received! I spent no more than 15 minutes there at the carwash and I was able to make it back to work on time AND grab lunch! Thank you, staff!

Great experience and service. I'm enjoying my new car wash and "free" air freshener. For a full vacuum and machine wash, hand dry, with tire and wheel shine, for $20. The hand dry really does the trick, whereas the full machine wash/dry misses spots. Also, it was all done in less than 20 minutes.

I paid for "the best" car wash and got "the worst" car wash. It's like they just ran it thru with water. After the wipe down I asked for a rag a started to wipe it down myself. While doing so the wipe down guy just watched me while rolling his eyes. When I asked him, so you all don't wipe down he responds with "yeah just a lite wipe." Unreal! I told him cool, then you don't mind my lite tip. When I called and spoke with Erica she could careless what I had to say. This is why you all don't have the business you use to in the early 90s

Told them explicitly not to roll down any windows because the back right was broken and would not roll up. They rolled it down and it’s broken and has to be fixed again.

The staff is incompetent, the management is dishonest. Don't waste your money and risk your car. Go somewhere else or do it yourself. I told the staff not to do anything with the inside of my car. They ignored me and made it dirtier by crawling all over the inside, and put a scratch on the interior trim. I paid for "the best" and there was still dirt residue on the exterior in four different areas of the car which I had to point out for them to wipe off. The manager on duty, Billy Quintana (title on his business card is "General Manager") put on a wonderful act of being concerned and his intention to make things right. Encouraged me to write a report where I (naively) wrote down all my personal information. Said I would receive a call within two days from his superior, Joseph Valerde. Of course there was no call so I called them. Joseph gives me the run around, tells me Billy is his superior, then proceeds to dispute my claim. These guys are flat out liars, and dishonest. The car wash itself is ineffective. They have different levels of car washes, with different prices, but the car is guided through the tunnel by one of their staff, and there is no way to observe what is going on inside the tunnel except for the air drying. Again, I paid for the most expensive wash and the car still had spots where there was dirt residue. The staff has the lowest level of competence I have ever seen, and really, how much expertise does it take to work in a car wash. It's called a "car spa" but there is zero attention to detail. The emphasis is on speed and the absolute minimum possible level of service. The entire operation is built for deception and taking money from the customer without providing the promised service. The staff in front of the tunnel is very polite, but once they have your money (and your car), everything changes. Once you've handed over your keys and your money, you are ignored and your car is abused. It is not a "car spa." It's a third rate car wash at best staffed with people who can't get a job anywhere else, run by street hustlers whose only interest is to get you into the tunnel and take your money, then laugh because there is nothing you can do about it. Don't let yourself be suckered in to this place. Drive on by and find another car wash.
