He took it to another place a while back, and was charged triple, with wax build up still in places. These guys begged him to let them fix it...and they surpassed all expectations. Horrible........ Power washed my vehicle there and had male employees hollering and cat calling my girl while I was there. As a male boyfriend to this girl was degrading ... Great car wash...the machine takes all money and debit card. The timer starts immediately after you put money in...even with the burron in the off position...forget all the fancy options because other than soap...no other products come out. The brush works good and the vacuum is free.

Decent services, but they are far more overpriced than anywhere in town. After calling around for brake pad replacement, these guys charge $250 versus their competitors who charge almost half that. They also think they are being clever with coupons, they charge higher and give great coupons to make the buyer think they are receiving a deal. UNLESS YOU WANNA PAY 100 DOLLARS EXTRA, AVOID THIS PLACE

They have free vacuums to use, which is just great for stopping by and cleaning out your car. In addition they have hand-wash service, a small store you can find common car related items from oils/fluids/tire gauges, to freshners/cleaning supplies/towels & small selection of drinks & snacks while you wait. Or if you'd just like to wash your car yourself, they have plenty of stalls that accept change/dollar denominations & even credit/debit cards. Also all of the options work unlike most carwashes where only soap & rinse work they've got foam/wax/tire cleaner and more. Need your car cleaned? This place is worth traveling an extra 10-15 minutes out of your way to do so. Rather than stopping at one of the other dozen ran down ones.

Only thing good was the manager's customer service, but the wash was horrible! The $16 wash was a joke, I didn't even get tire shine haha!! I don't tell people how to do their job but, no one should ever dry their vehicle with terry cloth towels!!!! My rubicon is my baby so I told them it was not necessary.

I went to the Laramie location a few months ago for the first time. I thought I needed brakes in addition to a regular oil change. They showed me that, in fact, my brakes were fine. I was so impressed that they didn’t see me as a female they could take advantage of...fast forward to today. I went in knowing I needed my oil changed but also knew I had another issue. They diagnosed the problem and said they could fix it. Unfortunately, because I had just paid $600 for tires, I wasn’t prepared to spend a small fortune more. They worked with me and fixed the problem within a budget I could manage. That was great but while I was waiting, another woman came in to get her oil changed. She was an older woman and made it clear that all she could afford was an oil change. After they looked at her vehicle, they came to the conclusion that she didn’t even need an oil change. They brought in the dip stick to show her that her oil level was fine and the oil was “clean”. They also showed her the mileage for the last time she brought her vehicle in and by her current mileage, her car wasn’t due yet. Bravo guys! As a female, I can tell you that the stress of worrying about getting taken to the cleaners when it comes to car maintenance and repair is a real concern, but not with Grease Monkey of Laramie. You have my loyalty for as long as I live in a region that finds me in Laramie on a regular basis. Thank you, Cody Carson, Manager and John Harder for being fair and providing a place that me and others to feel confident that we are getting service our vehicles need and not services you just want to sell. You guys are fantastic!

This place was hopeful when it was first built a few years ago. The front desk seems very complacent and does not seem happy to be there. I've had issues here several times, and it was hard to get them to make it right. One time there was no soap in the hand car wash, they didn't have anyone to change it, and they didn't refund my money. So, I just left - not like it was too big of a deal, but it is a car wash.

I come here 2 or 3 times out of the year, they are great most of the time. I asked to have the cab of my work truck detailed figure it would save some time. I am disappointed in the visit. There are still bits of crumbs and debris still in the bottom of the cab and they did not wipe down thoroughly. Payed 20 something dollars to have it detailed. You get what you pay for I guess.

I live in Denver and had to make a quick stop to get an oil change in Laramie because when I left the city nothing was open. I felt so welcome and everyone was so nice! Good for oil changes... Not for radiator flushes. A week after I got them to flush and fill my radiator, my car was streaming and green radiator fluid was leaking from my car. I took my car in to the grease monkey in south Jordan and they said the radiator wasn't flushed properly, had air left in it that caused overheating and the fluid to overflow from my car. I'll go back for oil changes but be very careful to get any other work done on my car.

I went to get a rock chip repaired and was first told that they wouldn't do it cause we have a crack in our windshield. Which is fine, but to ease the mind of my wife I asked that they do it anyway. What irritated me more than anything was the way that I was looked at. As soon as I pulled up, two guys (bigger fellas) stared at me with a disgust look on their faces. I almost left, but again I needed it done. While my car was in the bay area, these two guys decided to play with the toys in my car, that where my three year old's. I don't mind them sitting in the car to make sure that the repair is working. HOWEVER!!! I do not like it when they start playing with my kids toys. If they did that, it makes me wonder if they are going through glove compartment's or even the center council or papers on the seat. As long as these two fella's are there I will be taking my service elsewhere!!

My overall experience was fine. Although I didn't exactly appreciate the recommendations without any explanation. I was taken back by the comment made to me when i asked if they carry Pennzoil. My father owned a pennzoil shop, so I grew up using it and truthfully just know more about how it works in my car. He responded that i must like running candle wax in my vehicle and that it would certianly lead to rebuilding the engine. So I asked why he would recommend one type of oil over another and he just mentioned that the manufacturer recommended one over the other... no other real reason. Overall satisfactory but could do without the god complex.

I brought my car here for an oil change, and was extremely pleased with the service. Not only was my oil changed, but my windshield washing fluid was filled, my tires were filled, and my car came back to me smelling clean (I'm not sure if they actually cleaned it or had a very clean person sitting in it for a few minutes, but it was nice either way).And I didn't see any charges other than the oil change, which was exactly the amount listed on all of their resources. I was also pleased by the friendly and quick customer service, which had my car in in minutes and out in less than an hour. 5/5 would recommend.

Well I am always wary about any mechanic place or oil change service. I bought my 99 camry to this location and needed an oil change. 3 weeks after I got the oil change, I looked under the hood and noticed my coolant had not been filled up. I took it in and then filled it up. I also had a question on why my light on my dashboard was on. It was for the rear brake lights. I had my own replacement lights and they replaced it right there, no charge. Good service. Thanks.

DAMAGED VEHICLE FROM CARWASH! My husband recently took our brand new truck through the carwash. When he got to my work he noticed there were scratches down the entire length of the truck and on the roof from the brushes, as well as a crack in our windshield. He went back and told them about it. they refused to do anything about the damages because he had driven off the lot. even though an employee confirmed that the windshield was NOT cracked before the car wash. and they tried saying the scratches were dried wax until they couldn't wipe them off. If you dare go here be sure to jump out and inspect your vehicle thoroughly before AND immediately after being washed. from other reviews seems like we're not the first this happened to.

Good service, fair prices, every oil change comes with a free car wash. In the car wash they use compressed air to remove the water from mirrors and crevices. Lots of amenities for customers waiting for their car to be serviced.

Do not go here for a car wash! I went here last week to give my car a wash. I had a discount code but there is no prompting to put in the code before you pay and after you put your card in, it is too late. For the basic wash it is $9! That does not include vacuuming, you still have to pay for the coin operated, very weak vacuum machines. It also does not include an automatic car dryer, so when you go you had better come prepared with several of your own towels, the car wash does not include even a slight air dryer. All and all, this is a complete rip off.

Be careful when you purchase from Gear Monkey. Get the price upfront. They double charged me for synthetic oil, and when I confronted them about it, they told me I was wrong and that it was not a double charge. The charge was by the quart for synthetic oil, and then another synthetoc oil charge. Don't go here, the car dealership is $50 cheaper.

So we are on a road trip from Houston, Tx to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and we stopped in Lubbock, Tx to get our oil changed at the Grease Monkey. Had a great experience the staff was fast, friendly, and professional. However, about an hour outside of Laramie, Wy, we start experiencing some mild car issues. Come to find out, the Lubbock location put a bit too much oil in and it was causing our car to not accelerate properly. No problem though, because the location in Laramie got us in, fixed up, and on our way quickly and without any extra charges. These guys really take care of their customers and it is appreciated. Won't be going anywhere else for oil and service again! Thanks guys!!
