My mother was coming back from a family reunion and broke down somewhere around Salina we had the van taken to Don's Sinclair and was told it needed a new transfer case and the cost would be around 2,100 with few options we agreed to have it fixed. When it was done my mother had got a ride 2 hours to salina to pick it up when she got home i noticed that she drove the vehical on the highway and interstate 2 hours back with no speedometer no antilock brakes and a hard shift. This was due to them not replacing the speed sensor I was upset they would send her home like that but it was only a 15 dollar part so I put it in and it fixed those issues. Not long after it broke down again they had it towed back up there and they had a new transfer case under warranty from the manufacturer put in so the only cost they would be eating was they labor to install it.
They put it in, we were happy and gave them 300 in cash even though they didn't ask for it I believe in people doing the morale thing so it was no big deal my mother left with the van again and the same thing happened only this time it broke down by our mechanics shop we took ot there he discovered all this was caused by a bent drive line going into the transfer case he was in contact with Don's Sinclair about the problem and he quoted the fix around 2,600 because this time we need to fix the culprit which was the diveline as well then the communication stopped. We called Don's sinclair over and over and they ignored all messages, I finally got ahold of the person over seeing this and they didn't feel like they had any obligation or morale sense to do anything about it this is even after I offered to eat all the labor costs and of course the cost of new driveline and have them just replace the transfer case which was their fault for diagnosing the van improperly,,, so basically from all the costs associated with Don's Sinclair she is out over 2,500 and needs to come up with another 2,600,,,I get no business can do every project flawless and never make any mistakes but it speaks bounds when the company can't at least admit some wrong doing and be their to back it up when it counts especially when we are the ones keeping them in business,, Had they done this I never would have left this review,,, I noticed another review saying they take care of the disabled, well in this situation they definitely didn't take care of the elderly.
