I've been getting my car washed here for years, and they do a decent job. They now offer an unlimited wash club, which costs about $15 a month, which is less than 1 car wash. So if you plan to get your car done at least once a month, it's worth it, but I haven't read the fine print yet.

The automated was machinery did a much more thorough job than the actual people who worked there. My Lexus is white and I could see the last remaining dirt spots on my car from literally 10 feet away as they were waiving me over to come and get my finished vehicle. I had to do a spot check of my car for them. Overall...?? Ok though. They were nice.

The service was great and the machines worked well. The place looks rundown though. I wish all the Benny's would close off their complimentary vacuums because it never fails that a trashy person is hogging all the vacuums or playing loud music and they obviously didn't get their car washed. I just went this one time because of the convenient location but I prefer going to Geaux Clean for these reasons.

BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT BENNY'S! I usually take my car to the coursey blvd. location for an oil change but it seems when I did I was always told I HAD to get the most expensive oil change they had with the highest grade of oil. Yesterday 10/17/18 was my 2nd oil change at the Essen lane location and I am still smiling. Not only did Brian & Brad educate me on my car, how it runs and operates as well as provide the best customer service, they kept my little boy smiling during the whole process who just so happened to be amazed to see how this was done! We were offered cold bottles of waters during our wait and Brad knew EVERYTHING about my car. I never knew how to get the Maintenance light to go off and I have had my car 2 years and he even gave me a little discount that I honestly needed because I was using my last to change my oil! I was SO OVERDUE for a change and had to save to get it done. I don't think I will be going to any other location EVER AGAIN as long as I live in Baton Rouge! Shout out to Brad & Brian :)

Came to Benny’s for an oil change and initially was quite impressed with the fast service. However fast forward to today. I checked my fluid levels on my car this morning and i needed to add oil. I go to unscrew the oil cap and it’s on so tight i can’t turn it. So i asked my boyfriend. He couldn’t unscrew it. I ask my sons, they couldn’t unscrew it. I drove to the location and tell one of the car wash people what the deal is. He was dismissive at first but at the least tried to unscrew it. He was unable to do it. I was told to come back later. I said i need oil now. There’s no one on the lot who can unscrew it? They told me no. And they didn’t want to crack the top using a wrench and be responsible. Yet they can be responsible for a blown engine bc their technicians couldn’t unscrew what they screwed in the beginning! I’m looking at a lot full of men and not one outside of the one man attempted to help me. I’ll never return to this location. The “manager” walked off and completely dismissed me and told me to come back later. Ben was a complete jack! He’s the epitome of a prick!

The interior workers were efficient and thorough. There was black gummy material on the driver and passenger windows. I pointed this out to one worker who made sure it was cleaned. It took some effort but the worker was successful. All were friendly and polite. I highly recommend the Essen location for an awesome car wash.

What an amazing experience I had today at Benny's as per my usual! Shout out to SGT. Robert for being the bomb & SERVING OUR COUNTRY! He was so good to me & not to mention his smile was ON POINT! Next we have Quarrdarius! He was soooo cool and him and I ran it for a few! Extremely helpful, kind & even gave me a zip-tie (which I needed for my GPS antenna wiring that was hanging-lol)...that was awesome! He didn't have to do that, but he did it anyway! Customer Service is EVERYTHING nowadays! I keep coming back here because it is consistent !!1 Also shout out to Bradley, Tristan, Tu & Chad!!! Thank y'all for a GREAT experience!!!

I have multiple reasons why this by far deserved a 5-Star Review. I was told about a $5 off coupon, and because I have a high mileage vehicle - I was immediately sold. Typically about $50, and received service for $45 (5 quarts). Highly suggest checking website for deals/coupons. *Make sure to show staff this before services being, it's polite. I already get very nervous driving over the pits, but enjoyed that I did not feel rushed to get my car over the spot. I arrived somewhere around 11:50 am, and believe this was the right before the Sunday afternoon rush as I was the only car for the two bays. Once I had my car in park, Jacob came over to immediately offer me a bottle of water and see what I was coming in for - service wise. As, I proceeded to say I was in for the high mileage oil change Stephen came over to put the A/C duct that they have at my window. This is honestly ingenious for Louisiana weather, and being able to sit in your car while your oil is being changed. I was able to fill out the iPad they provided to get my information, and they had my car and vehicle information. Additionally, they wanted the mileage my car was at currently. Bradley was also working on my vehicle and did an incredible job of explaining what he was doing and what he had done. I really like that they take "samples" from your car and then compare them to a fresh sample for the fluids. They explained about my filters and I felt that for a pull-up oil change, they do a great job at "servicing" the vehicle. I also never felt pressured to pay for additional services, which is a huge bonus for a person who does not know much about cars but could be persuaded to take care of some of these things they might have had serviced at their last oil change and just forgot. Bradley, Stephen, and Jacob did an incredible job and I would highly suggest them for anyone getting an oil change. Finally, when I went to pay I also got a *complimentary* car wash (mine was the $17 value)! Not sure if this is a regular thing, but honestly excellent. I could have also added the interior cleaning for an additional charge, but opted out. Caleb helped me put the code in for the car wash which was a bonus since I did not know how to put in the code. Though, once I watched - it was fairly simple and I believe anyone could figure it out. Not sure if the service is like this across all Benny's, but the Essen location did a phenomenal job. Truly exceeded any expectations I may have had. I would highly suggest this location to anyone needing an oil change or car wash! The only thing I wish I would have done was get the costs of what they recommended for my vehicle, but I forgot to ask! I hope this review helps!

My husband took my car to Benny's on Essen this morning for an oil change and Superior Interior and wax which cost about $130 all together. When my husband returned the car, it was missing a piece by the window and door. I called and spoke to the General Manager at that location (I believe his name was Ben) and he all but implied that the piece was already falling apart. Then let me know that there was nothing they could do about it because my car is 10 years old. It's unfortunate that I spent that amount of money there (and would have probably spent even more) and now I have to spend more money replacing a piece on my car too. I am trying to give the car to my teenage daughter and I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate the missing piece. FYI: Just because a car is 10 years or older does not mean that all pieces are prone to fall off easily. And if this happens a lot, as the policy suggests, maybe Benny's should do a better job of checking these "older" models of cars to make sure they are intact before they leave the shop. Makes sense. Smh

Bennie’s has really slacked off in the last few years. The high quality service they used to offer has vanished to be replaced by half-hearted service. They seem to only be interested in the quick drive-thru wash. I always went there the last 20+ yrs as it was the best place in town to get a good cleaning, including shampooing the carpets, vacuuming the trunk, etc. Now, I still pay $43 for the cleaning but you have to ask them to vacuum the trunk, clean the gasoline door, get bugs off the front, etc. I never had to ask before....they just did it. And last time I was there a month or so ago, the carpet shampoo system was busted...for the second time! So, after 2 poor quality jobs at the Airline location, I took my wife’s car to the Essen Lane location. It was even worse. They can’t even shampoo your carpets?? After being a faithful client for 25(?) years, I am moving on. Bye, Benny. You WERE the best.

I ONLY use Benny's because the service is ALWAYS exceptional! Honestly, even if you were more expensive than other places (your not) - I would STILL pay more just to get a smiling face with a good attitude. It makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE! I want to say it was a guy named Nick that took care of me! He was exceptionally kind, playful & knowledgeable! He went above & beyond to ensure my satisfaction, as well as teaching me things about my car for a "just in case" scenario. My daughter mentioned that he sounded like a Drill Sargent & I told him that & he playfully told her "Watch this" & he went back and forth calling out to the other gentleman about the specs & all of that & she really got a kick out of that! Brad and Q are the absolute best here! I went for an oil change and they went over and beyond to take care of my car! They had bottled water and air condition for me while I waited in the car while they did my oil change. Brad noticed that my tire pressure light came on so he checked my tires and filled up the one that needed it! Such an amazing experience and I will never go anywhere else for my oil change!

Awful service. If for some reason you go here, the correct behavior is to hawk everything the employees do. If your experience is like mine you'll lose an hour of your day, get a poor car wash, and a receipt with wrong information on it saying they put the wrong oil in. If you take it back, they'll give you the runaround for two hours. While it turns out it was just a clerical error, you'll get told that the oil rated for a different engine in your model of your car is ok by the manager. A "free car wash", and if you're like me - you'll notice your car's first scratch.

Good car detailing! I paid $155 for a full interior detail and it looks like new. The manager even came out and wiped off some smudges even though I didn't pay for any exterior detailing. The oil change crew was very helpful and thorough. You pay a little more here, but you get what you pay for!

Brought my car for oil change and car wash. They missed the painted part on the inside of the doors..when I called them back to wipe it down I was told I needed to ask them to do that when I drop off the car...(he then wiped it anyway) Then he tells me no one sees that...I paid extra for the interior cleaning and had to get them to wipe down areas they missed. Overall disappointed wont be back to this Benny's.

Definitely ask for Chris or Ben! Both are super nice and will take care of everything. I usually get my oil changed at Benny’s and they do a fantastic job, but today I went to get a car wash and detail. There’s a tenant that helps you select the car wash you want and basically does everything for you up until payment. Then you go through the wash and it’s very thorough. Once the wash is done, the detailing begins. After you pull up, they vacuum and take the mats out to clean them thoroughly. Then they vacuum the crevices in the interior. I didn’t see anything left. Once that’s done, they clean the interior windows, windshield, and rear windshield on the inside. Then inspect it for missed spots to make sure everything is clean. When the inside is finished they make sure the outside gets waxed, rear view mirrors are cleaned, and detail the tire rims. After I got my car back it smelled exactly how it did when I bought it and there was no residue on the interior windows.

I used to be a bennys car club member. I paid $30 a month for it. This location could never read my rfid tag and that was the last straw. Talk about inconvenience. When you pay that much money recurring every month you'll expect their equipment to at least work. Never had issues at any other location.

Before moving out of state I would always take my car to this location to be detailed. I was always satisfied with my service. I am in town for the weekend and I decided to get my car detailed to be clean for the weekend. My service was horrible!!!! I chose the Benny's Best Combo Package and it was explained to me by Paige (Greeter. She was the only refreshing thing about my service today. Very nice. She didn't pressure me into getting the 70.00 package, she asked me what I wanted and she made several suggestions). First I sat and waited and after about 20 minutes I hear over the paging system, "Honda...blah blah ready". There were two Hondas that were ready but it wasn't clear whether it was the accord or CRV. I asked the with sunshades, curly hair, and a grey benny's logo pull over it the Honda was called and he said "oh yeah". I look at the car and it was half ass done. Luckily a lovely lady whose name I didn't catch stopped me and said, "that car is not ready it needs to go to the otherside". I felt relieved. I assumed okay they will take care and complete the job fully (the rims were still dirty, etc.). After my car was wax and ready, I made the mistake of hoping in the car and driving off. I should have inspected the car before I left. I exited college drive to get gas and as I pumped gas I noticed, the rims were still dirty, the outer part of the rear view mirrors were not cleaned (they were still stained with the bug residue from my 8 hour drive), so was the front rear of the car. The interior seats were conditioned well but the dashboard, console under the radio and gear shift had spots from whatever was sprayed that was not rubbed in. The top of the sunroof was dirty. Again it was a half ass job. I understand that Benny's prides itself off of being express but this one time a horrible job was done. I will NEVER return to any of Benny's locations again. Of course I called and complained and what do you know...I had to leave a voicemail and I don't expect a call back. It's easy for them to say they never received the message instead actually making an unsatisfied customer happy again. I will make sure I tell everyone about my experience today!!!!

When you pull into the oil chance bay you are greeted by smiling faces, given a water bottle and get your very own air conditioner duct faced into your car so you aren't hot while your oil is being changed. This was, BY FAR, the most pleasant oil change I've ever experienced, and I'm no spring chicken! Benny's obviously has taken the time to think about the customer. 10/10 I highly recommend getting your oil changes here, I know I will be going back!

I paid almost $100 to have my car detailed, and when I came to pick up the car there was still visible dirt in every crack of my car. They hadn't even attempted to clean out the cup holders, side door pockets, or center console! The A/C vents still had dust on every slat. All they did was throw away trash, spray armour all, barely wipe a rag around, and then do a terrible vacuuming job! I went inside and asked for a manager and waited 30 mins while he talked outside with a friend! Then after I finally talked to him I brought him out to the car and he told me those stains won't come out. I licked my finger a wiped a big line off and showed him. He actually said that it was because the chemicals had soaked in a lessened it up, and he said they don't clean the center console, cup holders, and door pockets because they respect their customers privacy!! He kind of apologized and said he would fix it. I waited for an hour because instead of immediately fixing their mistake they put me at the back of the line! The worst part is when I got my car back again it was still filthy!!! It looks like all they did was pour way to much armour all every where and smear the mess around. There where small pools of armour all on the seats and the pools of armour all in the cup holders was black!!! They didn't even wipe up the armour all they just smeared it around!!! I waited an extra hour to have them insult my intelligence basically his excuse was the car was too dirty. It was a BMW it isn't like I went mudding in it they are just lazy and if you tell them you want a refund they kick you out!!! Never go here the old man that was managing the place Gary was incredibly rude!!! He told me the reason they didn't clean it was because the leather was really dirty and it would take too long or be too hard. I couldn't even upgrade my detail to include a more thorough cleaning!!! He was going to make me pay for another detailing to finish his job!!!

Soooo had a window busted out a month ago and today I decided to take my tuck to finally get it cleaned. I took , literally, everything out of my truck. Floor mats, emptied my doors, glove box, center console, etc. And to my surprise it was still dirty. Like it wasn't "oh that's pretty easy to miss" it was more like "oh wow, looks like Ray's Charles cleaned it." If their parents would have put the same amount of effort towards their conception as they did cleaning my truck, they wouldn't have even made it out of their dad's balls sack. Will NOT be returning. I'll set this thing on fired before I bring it back, it would come out cleaner for sure. #thickboisriseup

WeatherTech mats still had a long dirt streak, enough vinyl protectant to drown an elephant, bugs still splattered on the front bumper, and dirt in crevices was completely overlooked and wiped over with that elephant-drowning vinyl protectant. Paid for their $70 package and got ribbed.
